One of cleanest places I’ve stayed at. The motel itself was on the older style but the bed was comfortable. The bathroom extremely clean and lovely towels. The jug of cold water in the fridge was a godsend.

Vet clean, excellent check in experience but the room was disappointing. There was a stain on the pillow case and the fridge kept turning on and off all night, keeping me awake. There was also a lot of light coming from outside the room. I hardly slept a wink all night and I was racing at the Murray Man the next day.

Basic set up.
The bedspread had a large stain on it which the cleaner took away and replaced with a clean blanket, she was lovely.
The roof over the parking bay was too low for our vehicle but we still were able to park closely to our unit.

Staff was very nice. Room was dated and no amount of cleaning can improve it. Bathroom is especially needing to be replaced, updating won’t fix it. Uncomfortably, run down for $125 in Barmera? Not ok!

The staff are wonderful and very accommodating. Always happy. Some rooms are better than others. Been here before 2 families book 2 rooms and the room quality varies. But on the whole - for sleeping in they are great and the staff do an amazing job and catering to your needs and the cleaners are fantastic. No food on site but we are a 1 minute walk to the lake Bonny barbecues and 5 minute walk from Main Street. Overall for a great stay and place to sleep excellent.

Comfortable basic motel room with a great view - though it did not have a balcony as it says on the Expedia page for this property. All rooms are on the ground floor.

Beautiful location overlooking the lake and walking distance to the centre of town. The rooms however were very tired and old. The shower was good with plenty of water pressure and hot water and the towels soft and fluffy. We were expecting a deluxe balcony room and it was neither deluxe nor two storey!! The “balcony” was a porch with an old plastic chair overlooking the lake! There was only one thin pillow on each bed and when I went to reception to ask for some more it was closed. The reading lights over our beds didn’t work. We did appreciate the microwave and free tea and coffee but brought our own fresh milk as we dislike the UHT stuff. Like the rest of the facilities the aircon looked like it was at least 40 years old but it worked well enough. Whilst in an excellent location we won’t be rushing back to stay here again.

The Motel is in a very convenient location and the room was tidy, the hand rail in the bathroom kept falling apart and the website mentioned that there was breakfast available but there was nothing in the room about breakfast.
They supplied a microwave, kettle, toaster, cups, teaspoons and tea, coffee, sugar and milk but there were no plates or other cutlery if you went and got supplies in for making toast or having cereal.
