The property needs a deep cleaning. The lobby stairwell is dirty along the baseboards and walls. I stayed in Rm 16 Oct. 2025 and the carpet has some nasty brown/tan stains on it. I put the bed runner down on the floor bc I couldn't stand walking on unknown stains. If you want breakfast, you have to notify them the day before. Location of property is fine, convenient to Metro, front desk people nice and has a mini frig & kettle/coffee in rm. But, doubt I would stay there again due to cleanliness.

Very charming, typical Larisian hotel in a convenient location. They currently (September 2025) have major infrastructure works running outside all through the middle of the night. Staff kindly gave me a top floor room but the digging noise is still extreme. Other than this, a very pleasant hotel.

The hotel was nice for the most part. It was very dated. The rooms all need new carpeting, they are very old and stained. There was some damage to the walls in the hallways as well. The staff was nice and helpful and the beds were comfortable. A/c was very good as well. Overall the hotel just needs a facelift.

Superb location, right across the street from the metro station as well as the catacombs with a great price point for Paris. It's gonna cost like $300 more per night to get the same sort of deal near the Eiffel tower for instance. But if you’re right next to a train station, it doesn't matter bc you can get to Eiffel or Notre Dame or the Louvre within 20 min with very little walking.

As for the hotel itself- very comfortable bed, interesting bathroom with quirky built in hair dryer that only has 1 temp control which i guess is more eco friendly but not great if you have a ton of hair like i do.. the biggest issue was that they had a really nice looking jetted tub that i was looking forward to using and so one day i got back a little early from my outing to have a \"spa day\". I filled up the tub and tried to turn on the jets but it wouldn't work! I asked my friend to go downstairs to ask the front desk if there was something we were doing wrong or what and they told him that the tub just doesn't work in our room (or maybe the whole floor? Idk i wasn't there) and that they knew about it before and didn’t tell us.

At the very least if i knew about it in advance, I'd either have asked for a different room or wouldn't have gotten my heart set on a spa day.

All in all, it was very minimal and the only issue i had with the place. Would I stay there again? Sure, if the price is right - I just wouldn't get excited about the jetted tub.

The high price is not warranted by what you get. The pictures are very deceptive of what the hotel really is like. Plastic glasses in room, wood coffee stirrers. One instant coffee, sugar, & mini milk per person. Greeting by front desk with an attitude. Argued over the breakfast, I was under impression it was included and was told to take it up with Expedia. They were nice enough to store our luggage as we arrived early.

A very reliable and perfectly situated hotel.

This is a perfectly situated hotel where you have access to pretty much everything you would need as a tourist. You have the Denfert-Rochereau train/metro stop directly across from the hotel, where you have access to the RER B train to and from the CDG airport. You also have the metro 6 line that takes you directly to the eiffel tower and other major tourist places. There are plenty of great cafés and restaurants right beside and around the hotel, with also several mini supermarkets all within walking distance. I recommend going to the Paul bakery for breakfast, they do a great latte and hot chocolate! I also definitely do recommend having a small wander around the area of the hotel to check these places out!

All the receptionists were super friendly and helpful. The hotel room was very clean with very comfortable beds, probably the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept in a while. The bathroom was very clean as well and spacious. In general, the hotel room has all the basic needs you would want. If you're just looking for a reliable and clean hotel room with a comfortable bed to sleep in, and you're not extremely particular or picky, then I couldn't recommend a better place. I will definitely return here in the future!

Excellent and convenient location: quiet, surrounded by many shops and restaurants, easy access to airports, train stations and public transportations.
Helpful, courteous, friendly and efficient staff.
The rooms are small but efficient and comfortable.
Hallways and rooms could use a face lift: while all is in working order, paint is peeling here and there, carpets show stains and tiles are chippped or loosely reset.

Hotel is very well located for subway. Great local area for bars, dining etc. Our street view room (with excellent view) had double windows so keeping out road noise. Bathroom clean, convenient. Parking on site (35 euros/day) works well. Breakfast area is very small and quite bland but there are plenty of cafes nearby. Excellent desk staff, would highly recommend this hotel!

The ONLY thing that was less than great was the beds were a bit stiff, causing me (admittedly an older fellow), to wake up with a stiff back.

I'm accustomed to Paris, with tiny rooms and no AC. However, for peak summer during the JO, I selected this location for access to the 13 line and with AC. A storm caused flooding which threw the breakers for our floor. The AC never came back on, it was quite hot and humid with the rain, so we had to open the windows. Very noisy people and scooters on the street below. It was acceptable otherwise, but definitely not worth the price paid.

Wonderful place to stay in Paris!

We loved staying in Hotel du Midi! The rooms were extremely clean. The beds were really comfortable. The staff were very nice and polite. The location was great-right across the street from either the catacombs entrance or a train/metro station that easily took us to some of the main attractions in Paris. There were also many restaurants within walking distance-including a fabulous patisserie.

The hotel itself was fine. My biggest issue is that the air conditioning (even just the fan mode) was disabled because it was not hot enough to need (this is early April). The problem is that the room is stuffy without any fan, which forced me to open the window and be subject to the significant street noise. Why would I pay to stay in a hotel if I'm subject to such street noise? I could pay less for a non-hotel accommodation if that's the case

Met all our needs in terms of location and comfort - quiet good sized (for Paris) room (at rear of hotel) that had been recently updated. Great bed, just the right amount of firmness and good pillows. Elevator was immediately outside our door, and we never heard it once inside the room. Arrived early morning after redeye from California, had planned to leave luggage at the hotel while going to tour the city but was allowed to check-in at 09:30 so settled in before going out for the day. Great access to RER and Metro within 50 yards of hotel. Lots of places nearby for every meal but beware that you probably need a reservation for evening meals.

Overall the stay was good…..easy access to the metro, across the street from the Catacombs, lots of dining options and some shopping close by. My only complaints are lobby needs updating (which I had read before booking), and there was one daytime employee which wasn’t very friendly (dark hair and glasses). All other employees were very friendly and helpful!

More of a motel vibe. No issues but I wouldn’t have stayed here if I didn’t have to (Rugby World Cup this weekend so no hotels available). Staff was nice enough! And it’s right next to a train station so that helped.

THE BEST hotel to stay in!!

This hotel is so charming!! The rooms were very clean, great water pressure in the shower and bath tub, comfortable beds, lots of closet space, air conditioning, an elevator (fantastic for getting luggage to the upper floors!), lots of towels, soap, and shampoo in the bathroom, and the hotel staff are so kind and welcoming! The hotel is steps away from a metro/RER stop that can take you directly to the airport and Montmartre! Also, it’s an easy walk to the Jardin du Luxembourg which is a massive, stunning collection of walking paths around gardens. I’m vegan and gluten free, and this hotel was within walking distance of several delicious bakeries and restaurants offering vegan and gluten free dishes which was awesome. I look forward to staying at this hotel again!

Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful. All the people working at the reception desk spoke excellent English. They had very good advice on how to use the Metro system - which was excellent. I would highly recommend the breakfast - it was sufficiently large so we could spend most of the day visiting various areas and then have an early dinner. The metro is just across the street which was an excellent way to travel around Paris. I would definitely stay there again.

Great Location

I visit Paris once every three or four years, and this hotel has the best location. It is a 2-minute walk from a major RER, metro, and Orlybus stop. This feature saved lots of energy for my family trip. Plenty of shops, restaurants, and facilities are next to the hotel.

The hotel interior is a typical Paris 3-star hotel. Some rooms may need cosmetic updates, but they are good for a comfortable stay.

Really nice front desk staff. The hotel is right beside Denfert-Rochereau metro station. Can access all areas of Paris easily from the hotel. Also the Orly bus stops right out front at the D-R station and bus is 23 min to Orly. This hotel is convenient. The staff were really nice. Also there are great restaurants in proximity to the hotel. The hotel is 1 km away from Jardin de Luxembourg. Also the hotel is 900 m away from Parc de Montsouris, which is great for running in (it’s got a 1.4 km loop)

The public commute subway is right around the corner of this hotel. There are plenty of restaurants around that are open past 11pm even during week days. The staff that checked us in was amazing. She even gave some treats to my kids while keeping htem engaged in some conversation.

Only 2 small negatives: 1 power outlet in 1 spot for the whole room (not near table for laptop use) and the rooms are on the smaller side, but adequate (we luckily had a superior double).
