I’ve wanted to visit this place for a long time and finally made it. Although it was a bit of a dodgy start arriving late because of weather, we were met with a beautiful Fijian welcome. I will admit I was a tad disappointed originally being put in a tired bure (no 3) surrounded by renovation work, however we were moved the following day into a Deluxe Bure (no 10) which was amazing and much nearer to the beach and pool area.
I loved the outdoor shower although it could do with extra toiletries here as the Shampoo etc are fixed indoors. I also enjoyed having a personal hammock and beach chairs that I could retire to with my book.
Kadee and her team were absolutely delightful and we ended up having the most amazing 8 nights at this resort. Staff are so friendly and treat you like family. Thank you to Omi, Wati and Manasa (he is very respected being one of the founders) who were always so warm and friendly.
The food options are limited, but it’s incredible 5* food and beautifully presented.
I really enjoyed the relaxing vibe here except for the odd guest who unfortunately spoiled it by having loud video calls and playing annoying tik toks in public. Although there is a small note at the bottom of the menu, this is not easily visible so a polite verbal mention during the arrival transfer may be a better option to keep noise at bay
We also had the same music all week which all the guests noticed and found rather funny so a few more CDs would be good

Yasawa Island Resort was stunning. Our villa was amazing and right on the beach. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Great conversations We were able to witness a sea turtle laying her eggs on the beach and then in the morning see her trail back into the ocean. The air travel arranged by the resort to the property was incredible

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was super friendly and always happy the help. The food options were nice, I felt like I was always full! The beachside Bure was a highlight. Being steps away from the water was so nice! Beach walks were or favorite! There were maybe 40 guests and it felt like we had the beach to ourselves most times! Lots of space to spread out and enjoy!Everyday at 6:30 pm you can book your excursions or massages for the remaining days. They also have an option for private picnics. With the picnics don’t expect the same lunch you would get at the resort it’s more of a quick packed lunch. I only loved the picnics for the private beach and crystal waters!
I want to add a WARNING.
For the Yasawa caves excursion done on Fridays and Tuesdays. Please use caution. They don’t have any safety warnings about people who don’t know how to swim. We sadly went though a very very tragic accident. A man drowned in the dark cave portion. He, along with his wife, were the only two wearing life vest initially and were told they could not wear them for the dark cave portion. The fact that there are no CPR trained professionals at this location really angers me. This death could have been preventable. It left us with heavy hearts. This is not for kids. Not for elder people (steps to get in and out are sooo steep and slippery). Not for claustrophobic people. Not for people who are afraid of the dark.
They really aren’t that beautiful anyways. I would not recommend that activity.

Things are getting bit old. One of the customers here step into a wooden step and it broken he injured his leg. Cleanness can be improved as the towel are bit yellow and smelly. Insects are really annoying at night, mosquito net is necessary but they didn’t provide in the room

Great hotel experience

Hotel was very nice - bungalow right on the beach and very spacious. Hotel provided lots of activities (snorkeling, paddle boarding, blue lagoon visit, etc). However note that not all activities are offered at all times so if you don’t stay a whole week you won’t be able to participate in all the activities they have listed.

Also even though an all inclusive - food was limited. All meals were served in a sit down setting and certain times during the day. There were approx. 3-4 options. There is a snack menu offered a la carte, but it’s only full meal options and not really snacks. It would be nice if they offered chips, fruit salad plate, etc that’s just a snack between meals.

Traditional Fijian experience and much clearer water than say, Denerau.
Lovely staff.
Great day trips included, such as snorkelling off a boat, secluded picnic by boat, kid’s activities etc
Spa was so lovely as the big bifolds were open and the sea breeze was so relaxing.

Amazing resort, great food, beautiful secluded beaches where you picnic alone with your partner, great spa! Service is impeccable! Regina is an amazing host! We were there during a heat wave and the room A/C was not enough to keep it cool! Portable A/Cs will be great! Highly recommended!

This was by far the best holiday me and my wife have ever been on the breathtaking views start from the moment u get on the plane and take off to paradise . Small number of guests- could be as inclusive or as isolated as one wants.
Disliked: paying $30 extra for alcoholic drinks (1 shot) in an all inclusive package.
Disliked: credit card fee on top of VAT and other taxes (after paying over A$950 per night

This resort is special because it is so peaceful and not commercialised like some resorts in other parts of Fiji

The food was fantastic. Lots of fresh seafood. The seafood dinner on the beach is a must. I also recommend the tuna. Staff were always extremely helpful especially Sam in the activities bure.

OK Stay in a little island paradise

Abolutely serene location and a perfect island get-away, howver not entirely up to expectations with some hiccups in the cleanliness and customer service itself, along with just about everything costing extra despite the all inclusive label. Fishing costs extra, as does the spa, blue lagoon tour, alcoholic drinks, etc.

This is the worst hotel I have ever met, If you want to spend 800 dollars per day to stay in a room full of moths and vomit for smelly seafood just for good views of the sea, you can choose this hotel. The service is so bad and the whole hotel is just looking for money. That ridiculous manager did not care about you once you pay the money. Anyway, she would not give you a refund. The bed and air-condition is the standard of a motel in the USA. We reported the seafood is smelly and my girlfriend vomited that night and they just said their seafood is good. The other day, I asked for more noodles at lunch, and they said they don't have more noodles for us!! Yeah, so great, 800 dollars per day. You need to spend 500 dollars for the plane from Nadi to their hotel and it is required. The other guest said the hotel sent them an email without calling that the flight change from 2pm to 10am for some reason and they did not see it. So they need to spend 1200 dollars more to book a new plane to this hotel that day. I am not going to Fiji again because these people in Fiji are vampires and I would rather spend these money in Maldives four seasons.

Out of this world, stunning location

From the moment you land on the water and are taken ashore by boat your breath is taken away. Quiet and private this place is perfect for rest and relaxation. We had a Deluxe Beachfront Bure right on the beach so didn’t go to the pool at all, we didn’t need to, the sea was our pool! All food and activities (snorkelling, canoeing, paddle boarding, private picnics etc) were included and there was a good variety to choose from. Food and drinks (cocktails in particular) were pretty inconsistent going from excellent to extremely average depending on the day or who served you. Overall the resort could do with a refresh but this didn’t detract from what was an incredible holiday.

Yasawa Island Resort - what an amazing and wonderful place. The island is so beautiful and secluded - there are so few people that it seemed the views and every stretch of beach were ours alone. The Bures (rooms) each have their own cabana AND hammock, with room and reclining venues all overlooking the ocean. The food was absolutely wonderful - vegetables are so fresh all sourced right from the island when possible. The people are so warm and friendly. We very much enjoyed the evening "cocktail hour." The village church service on Sunday was amazing - every village member can sing so beautifully, and the harmonies are amazing. We took picnics day after day - choose a site to relax or snorkel, and the staff take you there in a boat along with your wonderful picnic (champagne, etc included if you want it). The picnic sites are gorgeous and we were able to explore a new reef "by picnic" each day. All in all an amazing, wonderful place.

I would give a 6 star!!

Fantastic and unforgettable experience in FIJI. All hotel stuff are coming from the near by village which make you feel like living in a big family. Sea food provided free charge, drink for free, activity for free (included in the hotel price).
Again, I would give a 6 star if there is an option.

Great Resort to Unplug from the World

We loved our stay here.

The people and employees are really what separates this resort from others (others being resorts outside of Fiji, as this was our only stay within Fiji). The staff are very personable and you get to know them on a personal level, greeting each other by first names, learning about their families and lifestyles. They say Yasawa Island resort is your home away from home and they really make you feel like it is.

Another nice thing about this resort is you can have a full spectrum of participating in activities to relaxing and lounge on the beach/pool. The private picnics were amazing with great views and the staff was very accommodating with them.

This is a great place to completely unplug and enjoy life for how it should be enjoyed...in paradise.

Wonderful honeymoon on Yasawa!

After several weeks of research (including reading a myriad of reviews), we decided to book our honeymoon at Yasawa Island Resort and Spa. What a wonderful place! After what seemed like an endless journey to get there (about 30 hours in total), we were met at the landing strip with fresh leis, fresh coconut water, and warm, friendly smiles! It was certainly a sight for sore eyes.

Everything about the resort well exceeded our expectations. The bures were very open, airy, and comfortable, complete with your own beachfront hammock and chairs! The food was outstanding and fairly diverse in menu options (somewhat of a surprise given the relatively small size of the resort). There were great activities planned for every day that included trips to the local villages, snorkeling excursions, nature hikes, and an unforgettable trip to the famed Blue Lagoon... With that being said, there was no pressure to participate in any of these activities; you can do as little or as much as you please while on "Fiji time"! The beachfront spa was also absolutely wonderful and a must-do (tip: go with the spa package if doing more than one massage per person... It's a great deal!).

The best part of Yasawa though are the wonderful people who work there and call the island home. No request was too much for them and was executed flawlessly. They truly do welcome you into the Yasawa family, and we miss them already!

Vinaka Yasawa! We will absolutely be back!

It was a lovely location,gorgeous small resort (without children) great for honeymooners or people in need or some rest and relaxation. We had no choice but to relax at this resort which is just what we needed. The food was great and the staff are just fantastic. The rooms are great possibly in need of a bit of updating and renovating. The only thing we really could complain about was the spa, the massage was not good and I had my hair braided for 15 minutes of the massage which was an interesting massage experience that I have never had before. My husbands massage therapist was yawning throughout his massage lol.

There are only 16rooms in this resort, so they will remember your name and you can ask for your special requirments. They will try to do it for you. Only two problems: 1. The only way to get there is taking airplane at Nadi airport. So you will cost $900 per person for the round trip tickets and it is not include in your room price. 2. Because there are many plants around rooms, so it is possible that your room will have some bugs and geckos as well. But not a big problem I think

Oasis for romance, tranquility and stress relie

Great resort with a very attentive and friendly staff. The room was clean, comfortable and had a fantastic view of the ocean. We slept to the sound of crashing waves, and woke up to the same. The beach is extensive, clean and thinly populated. In a week, we did not pass another couple on our walks. The water was warm and we enjoyed frolicking in surf.

With no TV......it was great to disconnect from the world and just live in the moment. Utter relaxation. The stress drains with each surge in the surf, right down into the sand.

The food was very good, especially the breakfast a la carte and buffet. The hotel grounds were clean and well along the way to recovery after last year's hurricane. Nice grounds.

The best thoughts of all go to the staff who really do go out of their way to ensure that you enjoy your stay. The resort is the only one on the island and lives in a symbiotic relationship with the surrounding villages, with villagers representing much of the staff. You detect that they have a sense of ownership in the resort...and it shows.

A great place for a quiet, relaxing, romantic getaway.

The perfect honeymoon

My wife and I stayed at Yasawa for 5 days for our honeymoon. We could not have chosen a more perfect spot. The resort's location is among the most beautiful spots I have ever seen. Our bure was always kept spotless and completely stocked with whatever we requested, and located just steps from the ocean. We enjoyed stunning sunsets every evening. The staff was second to none -- always smiling, friendly, and attentive. The menu was varied and delicious. The wine list was surprisingly extensive.

You must take advantage of the lunch picnics on private beaches -- the experience of nearly complete isolation is not to be missed. Also, we highly recommend the day trip to the Blue Lagoon caves. It's not as scary as it sounds! The view from the lookout is well worth the 15 minute hike.

Overall, I cannot more highly recommend this resort. It is 5 star in every way, and we would absolutely return.

Great place and people, would def return!

This resort is on one of the most stunning islands we've seen. The water is a clear torquoise blue, the sand is soft and golden, there is fantastic coral reef snorkelling/swimming right off the main resort beach (called the 'front porch') and a number of other stunning private beaches that can be kayaked, sailed or motorboated to within minutes.

The people in the resort itself made the stay extremely special. All staff were warm, genuine, professional and generally great people, a real asset. The facilities were very good (pool was clean and lovely but with such an amazing beach right outside the bure...) and the bar/dining area stylish and modern.

Bures were spacious tho some looked like they were due a tidy up (due to the recent storms that hit Fiji) and this seemed to be underway when we were there.

The food was mostly excellent, there's a large selection for breakfast, several options for lunch and options for a 3 course dinner. The cocktail list is decent and also well made.The spa is right on the beach so you listen to the sound of waves crashing as you get massaged...

Yasawa Island resort is not a cheap place to get to and the alcohol/bar bill especially adds up quickly but it's well worth it for a special occasion or that special someone, we would definitely go back!

酒店位置很好，硬件总体不错，沙滩很棒很干净。不足的是，多数员工实在太懒，尤其是活动中心的一位员工，明明天气不差，活动就取消了，而且取消多次，有一次浮潜说天气不行，但是第二天我们看天气比前一天糟糕多了，另外两位员工还是带我们去了，甚至有一天的蓝洞之旅，下了很大的雨，也同样出发了，还有一次爬山，这名员工说山上很滑，不好走，我们只好自己去了，根本不存在他说的情况。整理房间的员工只打扫床，或者说只叠被子，花3个小时，其他就像没看见，因为前一天在海边走，脚上沾到沙子，弄得床上有不少细沙，要求换一下，她提问why,告知她有沙子，她说好吧，结果并没有换，直到我走那天都没换。好吧，摒除这些，其他都还不错啦，酒店浮潜非常棒，比毛球马代的潜水都好，吃的方面，有个叫kokoda 的很好吃。

알고보니 정말 천국

Cozy 하다는 단어의 뜻에 그대로 부합함. 그리고 주변 환경은 정말 최고임.

피지에서 다른 투어를 하는 것보다 이 리조트에 머무는 것이 차라리 나음.

여기를 다녀오고 힐튼 리조트 & 스파 다녀왔는데,

TV 빼고는 야사와가 다 마음에 듦.

TV도 없고, 3g는 커녕 2g도 잘 안 터짐.

WiFi 는 바 근처에서만 터짐.

솔직히 식사의 상태는 중하 정도라고 보여짐.

서비스는 피지 특유의 서비스.

하나 이상의 일을 시키면 안 됨.

그리고 본인이 시킨 일은 20분 내로 꼭 한 번씩 확인해주는 것이 필요함.

근데 이건 어느 리조트나 어느 투어를 가든 피지라면 다 마찬가지임.
