Beautiful hotel, check in & out was easy. The room was nice but very very dusty. Bedsheets had stains, one of the sides of the couch was broken. The smell in the bathroom was not pleasant, i guess because of the shower curtain? The $38 fee is ridiculous. Yes you can use it within the hotel but why not say that when booking the hotel? Overall, i guess it was okay.

When we first arrived, the room we were given was still dirty, but a different member of the staff accommodated us and put us in a different room. The second room that we were in was OK but severely lacking in design and comfort. It didn't really feel like we were in a hotel room more so just a room with a bed, window and a TV. Our room also had 2 fridges.. one was placed in a random corner by the tv. There was no wall art or anything that made the room feel cozy. Worst of all, we were woken up twice because you can hear the drop of a pen outside in the hallway. The party next to us was on the phone and I woke up thinking they were in our room because that's how easily you can hear all hallway traffic.. Lastly two out of three staff members (Brandon & Another man) were very nice and welcoming. But when it was time for us to check out, the person checking us out didn't even greet us or at least ask us how our stay was. Overall, I don't think we will be staying here again... was not very comfortable nor inviting.

Great location if you don't mind walking a bit. Good size room and good price for NYC. Our corner room was very nice but a little dated. The only issues were check in, line was long and room wasn't ready until almost 6pm. Manager did her best.

It is, in fact, one of the worst hotels in the world in the so called 5-4 start category, literally, you can see here that I know about that, being a Platinum member. There is no way this hotel is a 5 start hotel. Not even 3. It is not clean. They do not have good closets. Food is terrible and overpriced. No room service. No business center or any printing facilities. They don’t give you water or any amenity, not a shower cap, or cotton buds. The coffee makers are the cheapest and worst quality that can possible exist. Most of the time they are broken. I have been staying there many times for necessity, location and work for the past 20 years. Several thousands dollars in expenses, but the last 12 days was my last time. Only because it is across the UN it is not worthy anymore to stay. It is clearly a hotel in decadence and needs a major overhaul and management change.

My room was not as advertised. The table in the room was dirty. Not much of the amenities available. The lights in the room would constantly turn off. I’m assuming it’s a fixed automatic light turn off to save energy. The staff was nice. Helen the housekeeper was very nice and so was Natasha from the front desk was helpful as well. It wasn’t worth the money.

The hotel is extremely expensive, the room is basic and nothing special, and the staff are completely unfriendly, except for the elderly porter. There's no kettle in the room, and on weekends, you can hear the band playing loudly until late at night. Check-in is also late, at 4 PM, which is much later than the usual 12 PM or 2 PM. I had to pay an extra $150 for early check-in at 11:30 AM, even though the room was ready.

The receptionist (a lady) was a bit rude; I understand I was trying to check in early, but there is no need to show a bad attitude toward people who want to spend money at the hotel. Special recognition goes to the cafeteria staff they are amazing and very helpful! Perhaps they should consider working at the front desk! My room had a lovely view but needs a renovation; it looks very worn.

This property does not have any parking and I repeat they do not have any parking at all but instead they told me they have a contract with a parking garage around the corner that only valet can go to and it cost $100 per day and you do not have In-N-Out privileges so once your vehicle is validated, you cannot get your vehicle again unless you pay $100 again per day and I think that should have been mentioned in the description because I would have definitely selected a different hotel. The room was very nice and small, but I did have a wonderful view of the city.

The room was filthy… the lamp shades has stains inside that looked like residue from bed bugs, both double beds were lopsided and one of the mattresses had a huge piss stain on it. The windows were dirty and the carpet was extra filthy with stains and dirt tracks everywhere. That room (4041) should have never been allowed to be used. When I told the Manager (Derrick) and showed him pictures, his only concern seem to be the lamp shades. The QR codes on the desk and in the elevator didn’t work, when I finally got one that did let us order room service, the room service never came. Terrible look for the Hilton chain, I will never use that hotel again. That room was worse than a motel 6….never again!!

Pros: excellent city/river view in premium corner room;
Cons: the hotel needs a major upgrade, old and low ceiling, average bedding and uncomfortable pillows; mandatory resort fee with credit you can use in cafeteria, but everything is marked up! Staff not so friendly, stone faced like a robot.

The room was clean and comfortable. We had a short overnight stay so we did not use any amenities. My only 'complaint' is the $100/day valet parking fee, but that is pretty typical of hotels in the city. The staff were friendly and the valet guys were awesome. Would stay again.

Our experience at the Millenium Hilton New York One Plaza was unacceptable. They charge $100 every time they bring or retrieve your car, without any warning in advance. When we arrived, we dropped off our luggage and immediately came back downstairs, yet they still charged us another $100 to bring the car back, even though it had not even been in their possession for 20 minutes.

The parking staff was rude while we were trying to park for check-in. We also requested something as simple as a birthday card for our 14-year-old daughter while staying in the Presidential Suite, and they told us they do not provide that kind of service.

Extremely overpriced, lacking basic kindness and hospitality, and the hotel conditions do not justify the prices they charge at all. I do not recommend this hotel.

The Millennium Hotel is clean and convenient for mid-town NYC. Yhe hotel has an irritating \"resort charge,\" or something like that, that it charges on top of whatever one has paid, not in the price advertised on Expedia. This in my view is close to fraudulent.

I like this hotel. Most hotels in New York city have various small rooms. I have stayed here before and I chose it again just because the rooms are bigger than the other hotels close to Times Square. It is clean and it is safe. there are garage options around the hotel that if you pay in advance are reasonable. It was in a central area that I can walk to the places I wanted to visit. I didn’t pay for the breakfast option, but we found breakfast close nearby as well as dinner.

I was disappointed for what spent for the two-level duplex. I was excited to have a city view which was stated in the room description. On the 28 floor where I was, the view was largely. obstructed. This hotel is getting old and it shows. The staff was courteous but the stay was underwhelming for over a $1K for 2 nights. It wasn’t worth it. :(

Reception was excellent. I had a corner room which was large and clean, comfortable bed, however there was only 1 towel, dingy and bare and 1 washcloth. There is no dresser, only a closet with a safe and hangers. The closet light does not have a switch to turn it off, so I had to close the door at night. Also, the coffee maker was sitting on an old cooler that was not cold and the light flickered. Doors slamming all night, but it’s a hotel, so expected.
