The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I like that they could speak fluent English. They maid staff did an excellent job cleaning the room daily. The breakfast was ok, the rooftop bar is a nice addition. The shower head quality in my room was poor, the shower experience could be better but staff was very helpful.

The building is old. Rooms are small and what you see on the picture is not what you get. The room are very expensive not worth the money. The only good thing and thats what you pay for it is the location. The hotel is on the main street ot all major attractions with in few minutes walking distance. They have liive music on weekends it’s hard to get a good rest. You hear all the noise all the time.

Staff was friendly, however getting to the room was not convenient as we were escorted around two blocks away from the check in lobby. The room was quant, and the amenities were not terrible. There was a shared lounging area outside of the room that other guests were able to use. Overall, OK to visit if you want to be in the Piazza di Spagne area.

Our room didn’t have body mirror (not big deal but we definitely felt that difference). The hotel needs one of those “DND” signs - housekeeping came in our room while we were sleeping. Overall it’s placed in a good spot near all the stores and walkable to a lot of places. The staff is very nice!

Had a great stay at Hotel Del Corso! It is in a fantastic location just a few minutes from many sights and Spagna Metro station. The staff at reception are so friendly and helpful. I booked a double room overlooking Via del Corso. Although it's a busy street, once the doors are closed, noise from the street is blocked. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. For those who are extra fussy, it's good to know that the bathroom is due for renovation ( but clean) and you can sometimes hear the people in the room next to you. These things didn't bother me. It would be hard to find such a centrally located well-priced hotel, in a safe area and the wonderful staff more than made up for the shortcomings. It is possible to walk to all the sights, however if you visit the Vatican, you may wish to take the Metro. Its just 3 stops away. I didnt have breakfast so I can't comment on that. Recommended!

The entire staff was excellent from front desk to porter to waiter and waitress the people who cleaned up after us and our room were fabulous. The staff at the rooftop bar made us feel welcome part of the family. Drinks and food were good. The vibe on the roof top superb. The breakfast was delicious everything you would want. Definitely would stay again. The location was perfect to everything in walking distance. The property was amazing and clean updated. The only minor thing I would say and maybe they are working on it is some updating the rooms. At least the one we stayed in.

The hotel is very old! Considering the amount you pay for the night, it’s not worth it! The only good thing about the hotel is the roof top bar and its bartender that makes decent cocktails. Otherwise the staff is not pleasant and it’s hard to get anything out of them. I was double charged and on top of that had a pre-authorization on my card. It’s been over 3 weeks and I’m still trying to receive it back!

Da spontan Buchung Nachts, alternativ Unterkunft in anderen Gebäude bekommen.

Das ist auch das einzige was vielleicht bei der Bunchung besser Kommuniziert sein sollte, da das wesentlich kleiner war und ohne Fenster für Frischluft, hat mich aber nicht besonders gestört.

The photos of the rooms were deceptive. I freaked out when we checked in but realized after careful inspection that it was very clean. We chose this location despite always staying at BonVoy (Marriott and Shelton) properties because of the location and also never having stayed in a boutique hotel, we thought it would be a great experience plus they had air conditioning which was important to us and most properties did not have air conditioning. We were a few blocks away from the Spanish steps and the Trevi Fountain. We were also in the heart of shopping and restaurants but try to read reviews before choosing a restaurant because there are so many tourist traps! Overall, despite wanting to change hotels immediately after checking in, I’m glad we stayed and gave the “boutique hotel” experience a shot. We wont be doing it again but it was a memorable one and the location was great and very safe. We stayed at the NH Hotels in Milan and that was more of the type of hotels we’re accustomed to but again, the experience was memorable. Last complaint would be the water pressure in the shower and the paper thin walls with no sound barrier. It’s an extremely old property with lots of history so choose wisely and weigh your options carefully.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel because of three main issue:
1. My room (203b) had the shower glass door installed in the back of the tub instead of the front by the shower head so the bathroom floor will be soaked in water after every shower. I wish I can upload a picture but it is meme laughable material and unthinkable in any hotel or even hostel let alone for one that charges $350.night
2. I could literally hear everything from the room next door and the hallway
3. Extremely poor wifi. I asked the reception about it, their answer was yeah because you are staying on the second floor and the modem is in the lobby!!!!
I would never stay there and wouldn't advise anyone to do so.

5 day trip to watch the Rugby

Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Ideally located for the tram and Metro. Plenty of places to eat nearby and its possible to walk to the Vatican and other sites to visit. The weather was good so even walked to the Rugby.

While this hotel was cute, the amenities listed are false; no laundry, no bar, no air conditioning, etc.

The room was so hot and stuffy, we had to open the windows at night, which wouldn’t been so bad if it didn’t face the street with loud noises, smoke, and lights.

They additionally have no vending- so make sure you get water for your room BEFORE everything nearby closes!

The breakfast was average; however the staff was nice and room service did a great job at replacing linens quickly.

Excellent location close to the Spanish Steps and about 30 min walk from Colosseum or Vatican. Clean and comfortable. Our room was fairly large for a city center hotel, in fact a small suite. a/c was a bit noisy, but no worse than a hotel by the freeway. Good breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs and cappuccino to order. Staff were friendly and helpful. Particular thanks to the guy who brought our sweaters back to our room after we had left them in the restaurant.

Starting off with the pros, the hotel location is great and the room is fairly big
As for the negatives, there were quite a few. First off, when we checked in, half the lights were off, so it was very uninviting and hard to see where you were going. Next, in the room itself, the air conditioner is behind the blinds, so if you have them closed it really doesn’t do much. Also, my room (unbeknownst to me) was beside the cleaning room, so at 6am the staff was creating a lot of noise, waking me up from my sleep. And then around 8am, the hotel started playing incredibly loud music I could hear from my room, further keeping me up, when I just wanted to sleep. Overall, would not stay here again, regardless of the convenience

This hotel would be best suited for couples or individuals looking for a very central area to stay in Rome as it’s located right on the biggest shopping street in central Rome. We were a family of four and the hotel room was so small that with the pull out bed we could barely find room on the floor for our carry-on suitcases. The washroom is very old and in dire need of a revamp, but it worked as it should. The AC however did not. I would call it a fan that blows air versus AC which made for some very hot July nights.

We were on the first floor and some construction was happening in the next door hotel room. We were not informed about this. They were doing work starting at 8 am throughout the whole day and made lots of noise. We brought it up to management and they basically said yes, there’s construction, oh well! We also brought up the fact that the card key wasnt inserting properly which basically allows the room to use electricity, we had a hard time using that. Brought it up to management and told us to figue out. The second morning, we woke up the machinery at 8 am and told management about the noise and they told them to bring down the volume, but they still continued. We weren't able to enjoy our stay and management didn't take the proper action.

Worst stay in Rome

I am Italian grew up in Rome, this was the first time I took my fiancé in Italy and this hotel absolutely almost ruin our stay! We travel a lot but this hotel it’s the worst we’ve been in!
Shower absolutely disgusting! We refused to shower in a shower that the courts in stink like wee, dirty handles (will attach pictures). The mattress was so solid that we both woke up with the worst back pain… we didn’t sleep at night people of people working there like the cleaner etc banging the doors and shouting at each other during NIGHTTIME!!! The TV was cracked (pic attached).
I couldn’t even wash my hair because the hairdryer wasn’t working, went to reception and ask for one and what the receptionist told us was “ Well let’s see if I can send someone “ NEVER TURNED UP!
The bedding wasn’t definitely clean as we both got bites on our body! On our balcony there were all sorts of rubbish (pictures attached).
£160 x 2 nights during weeknight it’s a decent price for a decent place that’s what we thought. This is the worst hotel don’t trust what says on their website.
Ruined my holiday. I felt embarrassed of my own country whilst taking my fiancé first time in Roma where I grew up..

The location of this hotel is perfect. Right on Corso street which is the shopping street in Rome, super close to Spanish Steps and many other tourist sites. However, the room was not good. Not at all what they show in the photos. My room did not have any windows, nothing! There was absolutely no natural ventilation except for the AC which if left on, was super cold and when off, I couldn't breath. After taking shower, which also didn't have any windows, the whole steam was in the room and I had to leave the room for couple hours then come back. Walls are super thin and the whole night I could hear the room nextdoor talking and watching tv. Staff were nice. Also the hotel is in 2 separate buildings (few minutes walking from eachother. So my room was in the second building that I had to walk from the lobby. One of staff did carry my luggage and the second building didn't have elevator so he carried it upstairs too but it was very uncomfortable on the day of leaving because I had to walk back to the other building, asking them for help to bring my luggage down, walk back to the second building and meet the staff member who brought my luggage downstairs. The process of back and forth between buildings took 10 minutes when I was already late for airport. Would not recommend staying in this hotel. don't believe the photos. Those are not the rooms you would get.

All I can say is do not stay here!! I arrived to a room that was beyond filthy. Visible large spots all
Over the bedspread, sheets and pillowcase. The bed had been made but def not changed since the last guests. The bed was so hard and maybe the flattest, hardest pillows I’ve ever experienced. If you want any to ever go to sleep DO NOT STAY HERE! The hotel is over a very loud street that you can here through your window. It’s like living on top of a street carnival with loud music. This was also on a Sunday night. The staff is as also rude when I showed them the pictures of the large spots on the bed, they said the maid must have missed it. No one could have missed it even if you were half blind.

Good location and not so good hotel

I booked a room in an annex building, but it was not really an annex - it was more a building down the road somewhere.
When taking a shower, warm water disappeared multiple times and at the end of 5 min struggle never appeared again.
The safe in the room didn't have a handle to open it - needed to use my card to stick it in between the safe door and the wall.
And finally the coffee machine seemed to be never cleaned - the coffee was barely dripping.

This was our third time in Rome but our first stay at Hotel Del Corso. We booked for 4 nights. I was thrilled and very satisfied with this choice and my stay there. It’s location is prime! Walking distance from main Rome attractions and shops. Staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful. Rooms were comfortable, clean well air-conditioned . Enjoyed getting back into the room after those long strolls in the warm temperatures to cool off. We also enjoyed their rooftop terrace for breakfast. Will not look for any other hotel next time I’m in Rome. Will definitely look to book with Hotel Del Corso first.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I got a room a few months before heading to Rome for 3 nights. The pictures made the room seem clean and comfortable. When I arrived, I noticed there was no front desk, it was literally this dude sitting in this corner. When we finally got up to our room I was in shock.

I booked a queen size bed and little to my surprise it was literally 2 single beds pushed together. The room was so dark we couldn't see anything. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, we had back pain for the rest of the trip (2 weeks).

The bathroom was dirty and the shower barely worked. I called Expedia right away because I had booked three nights at the hotel. Expedia said they could not do anything and that the hotel was not going to refund me. I managed to get ahold of a supervisor who tried (once again) to talk to the hotel manager, but still nothing. I felt like I had been scammed. This was not what I had signed up for. We ended up having to find another hotel in Rome last minute and paying full price for this one.

I wish someone had told me to not stay here.

My review is based on the room that I had.
I had contacted the hotel months in advance and asked them to put me in a room that is quiet. This is the most important thing to me, is to be in a quiet room.

When I go to hotel, they put me on the third floor right next to the elevator. It was always extremely noisy, always banging sounds and other types of loud noises.

The room itself is dirty, the tables seem like they have not been wiped in the longest time. The shower tiles are so full of black soap scum that it was gross taking a shower. Its very small standing shower, and you will very likely touch the gross black tiles when you shower. It takes seconds to clean it, but no, they did not. It seriously looks like the black dirt all over the tiles had been there for months if not years.
I was in the room 306. I just read the previous review. It seems, the person with the previous review has stayed in the same room and had the same problems.

I don't know how other rooms are, they may be nice and clean. But my room I would not recommend to anyone. My room is called Standard single room(306)

The good thing about the hotel is that it was in a good location.

I dont recommend it

The room was with no window, the bathroom was so dirty I even requested to clean it twice but despite my several request no one did so. The tables next to the bed as well were full of dirt. The only good thing about this hotel is the location.

Nice place

The hotel was good very secure and nice quality upscale modern interrior, walls are thin can hear all neighbors coming in and out.

And the mini bar fridge was broken ..
Must pay fees in cash no credit card accepted.
Carry euros for sure all cash prices in the city are cheaper by 30percent.

Great location for shopping and touring Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain. Bathroom was smaller than anticipated. Bed was comfortable. Room needed upgrade. Breakfast was nice.

Fabulous location, loved the apartment feel

Fabulous location on Via del Corso, initially surprised to be staying down from the hotel but it was a lovely surprise, felt like a real stay in an apartment in the centre of Rome rather than a hotel. Great size bed, quiet apartments, great wifi access. Rooftop breakfast was a nice touch. Really great find for this location. Would recommend this for location and the feel of really being a Roman.

Hotel in historic district of rome

We ended up in a small room which is located a few blocks away from the actual hotel, but the location was good. Within walking distance, about a half hour, to all major sites. The room itself doesn't have any windows but it was modern and the bathroom was nice and modern. It was fine for our stay.

Worth the price

Overall great location, clean hotel, fantastic roof top breakfast.
Breakfast staff extremely helpful, front desk staff not so much. The shower was set up backyards so water was unavoidably spilled all over the bathroom.
However, worth the price.

Great location, outdated rooms

The location is perfect, pretty central, short walk to Spanish steps and Fontana Di Trevi. Rooms look a little old and outdated. The hotel has also a nice roof top area open to all guests. Overall, good value for money.

The hotel location was the only positive note

I was a bit disappointed in one of the front desk individuals, he was a bit rude and not accommodating at all. the Rooftop was open to use as a sitting area, but their facility was unavailable (meaning , any tableware , utensils or if you wanted to use a glass to share a glass of wine.), no ice either. We did ask for a bit of ice for my daughter, believe it or not, I actually had to make a long distance call to request it again, once the worker came up, he gave it to us with a huge attitude.. Sorry, I made a small request for ice ...
The rooms were not to bad, but really need upgrading.
Breakfast was not the greatest either, same breakfast for the entire week, nothing different.. Basic ... Continental.

Great location

Don't be put off by first impressions. The hotel room was rather dated and the furniture has seen better days, but it is spotlessly clean and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast is quite basic but there is plenty of choice and it is fresh. The breakfast area is pleasant and bright, and the fresh coffee is good.
Location is fantastic. Walking distance to many areas of interest and the hotel is surrounded by shops, restaraunts and places to drink.
I would recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Small room, took two days for AC to work, great location but road is blocked off a majority of the day so cabs have to drop you off far away. Staff was very nice and breakfast was good.
