Excellent facilities, staff and service. Only thing I could say should be improved is the quality of the sweet pastries at breakfast as it was the only element not being at 4* level. Amazing stay overall! Would highly recommend.

The room was spacious and it overlooked the harbor. The bathroom and shower were spacious too and everything was clean and in good working order. The only issue we had was with the door, which my husband had to shove open. The rooftop breakfast buffet was amazing, and the staff quite helpful and polite. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Hotel common areas are nice.

Breakfast is very limited and feels cheap, but breakfast staff are nice. I'd give it a 4 out of 10.

Custmer service is pretty much not existent. I asked for an iron at 8pm and I was told that thet they do not provide such service. I had have an argument which enabled me the priviledge to get them to contact the manager and ask what to do. They eventually did not help and referred me to the wash and ironing room service which could only be provided the day after for a charge, so 0 marks on effort and customer service; nice rooms and hotel stars are useless if you do not accomodate such simple requests. Needless to say that bringing my iron in my trolley was out of discussion. I felt like a lemon to squeeze.

Parking is also very limited. I ended up parking in the free public car park as hotel parking was always busy. So there is not really a private parking space if they have 6 parkings and lot of rooms. This was a crucial attribute in my decision to choose this hotel and I eventually felt a little mislead.

Rooms are nice and clean, but also dated. Stains can be seen everywhere on furniture and shower/toilette.

The view and location are the only selling points of the hotel.

We eneded up having a good 3 days break.
Would I go back to Lu hotel riviera? No, I'd choose a different hotel. Would I reccomend it to others? No, avoid this place as it is pretentious, not cheap and their passive customer service makes is a below average hotel.

Nice Hotel close to ferry

Good choice. Modern hotel with lovely roof terrace. Seemed to be in a good location for visiting the island. We were here on St Pietro Day, and were treated to an AMAZING firework display over the harbour, from pole position on the roof top terrace. Unfortunately I was taken ill later that night, but the staff were most helpful in advising us where to find the only doctor on the island, and when I had to leave the island to get to hospital they sorted out a booking for my husband at their sister hotel on the mainland. Would recomend.

Amazing beachfront hotel in Carloforte

A new clean hotel on the beachfront less than 5 minutes away from the ferries.
Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly staff that notified us that our basic room was upgraded to a premium terrace room, the best cathegory in the hotel. It isn't usual in Italy. The room was large and spotless with a very large terrace right on the water. Very nice bed and bathroom too.
There's a rooftop bar that was unfortunately closed due to \"cold weather\". The next day, however, there was a jazz band playing there. 1 minute away is a very nice bar Gusten that closed at 3am. All the best restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk.
Breakfast was alright. Poor by mainland standards, but decent for Sardinia. In fact, if you haven't been to Sardinia, you should also know that hotels usually don't provide hair conditioners, paper towels and have a checkout at 11am. Nor do they collect city tax.

Overall, we have walked around a lot and I am quite confident that Riviera hotel is by far the nicest on the waterfront.

Lovely hotel in a perfect spot overlooking the port and just a few minutes walk from the town centre. I booked a junior suite and it was perfect with a large balcony and sea view. I can't wait to return.

We have stayed here several times...best bits are the excellent location, comfortable beds, very clean rooms, great rooftop bar and staff always happy to help. Breakfast provided with plenty to eat. The thing that could be a little improved is the air conditioning which, for me, could be colder. But we keep coming back, it’s great.

Just what you need in Carloforte

Excellent central location with very clean rooms, outstanding bathroom - great shower is needed and provided after hours at the beach. Perfect balcony views over the ocean watching the ferries come in looking back towards the mainland. Aircon was also spot on so all in all the hotel is exactly what you need after spending your days and nights exploring Carloforte and the island.

Started bad but ended well!

The hotel is beautiful and its located right on the front of the town which gives you a lovely sea few.
We got to the hotel on Sunday morning instead of Saturday night because our plane was delayed and that caused it to make it impossible to get the last ferry which is at 10.35 pm.
So we spent the night in the car at the ferries car park until 5.30 am Sunday morning.
So it was a bad start to our holiday but the weather, the people of Carloforte and the lovely sea views with good food made it a great holiday to remember.

Fantastic hotel, friendly staff and great breakfast. The room was very clean and comfortable. Location is great however only for Carloforte. If you are thinking of a base to explore Sardinia this is not the right choice.

Wonderful hotel in central position next to the port and the town center with free parking. Wonderful breakfast in a wondeful roof top terrasse. I was there three nights with my husband for a short trip and we were both very happy.
Lovely staff at the reception, housekeeping and bar/restaurant. Hope to be able to come again to Carloforte and book again in your hotel.

Expérience decevante

Séjour de 3 jours en août 2024, après un premier séjour que nous avions du annuler (d'ailleurs sans aucune compensation acceptée par l'établissement en 2020(raisons familiales), cela aurait dû nous alerter). Nous nous sommes fiés à la notation et aux commentaires et n'aurions pas du. Expérience très décevante, a tous niveaux: accueil, décoration, petit déjeuner, chambres. Nous ne recommandons pas cet hôtel, et nous n'y retournerons certainement pas, ni dans aucun hôtel de cette chaîne des Lu Hôtel. Si vous avez un peu d'exigences, appréciez les établissements familiaux élégants, avec des petits déjeuners faits maison et du service, cet hôtel n'est pas fait pour vous du tout. Mieux vaut descendre a l'hôtel a Portoscuso, et vous déplacer à la journée seulement a San Pietro.
La salle du petit déjeuner, sur le toit de l'hôtel mériterait une décoration beaucoup plus charmante (merci le petit dej dans un hall de gare façon bocal ou préau qui résonne, il y a tellement de potentiel avec cette vue, c'est vraiment dommage), et STOP aux déménagements incessants des tables et chaises qui raclent le carrelage (audible du 3e étage, alors que la terrasse est au 5e..), la salle de bain de la chambre est vétuste et devrait être refaite immédiatement pour prétendre être au niveau d'un 4 étoiles.

Ottima esperienza, oltre ad essere immediatamente raggiungibile ed avere ampi parcheggi di fronte, oltre a parcheggi dedicati, la struttura è davvero ben tenuta, pulita e curata nei particolari, il personale è squisito, bellissimo e suggestivo spazio per le colazioni in terrazza panoramica, eravamo in nove, un gruppo di tre famiglie, ci siamo trovati tutti benissimo… consigliato 👍

Il mio compagno, la mia bambina di 3 anni, ed io ci siamo stati alla fine di agosto. Abbiamo alloggiato in una tripla superior. La camera pulitissima e molto spaziosa. Ottima la colazione a buffet, servita sulla terrazza panoramica, nella quale abbiamo preso anche qualche aperitivo. Il personale molto cordiale, disponibile, e molto paziente con la bambina. Unico appunto: in un albergo di questo livello sarebbe utile che nelle camere venga posto un bollitore, o, in alternativa, una postazione con forno a microonde su ogni piano (abbiamo avuto difficoltà a scaldare il latte alla bambina, prima di andare a dormire).

Hoalloggiato nella struttura dal 14 al 16 agosto. La notte del 14, dopo aver cenato fuori, la camera aveva la temperatura di 28 gradi centigradi. L'aria condizionata non funzionava e alla reception sostenevano che \"essendo in vacanza\" mi sarei dovuta adattare. Dopo aver discusso per un'ora ho ottenuto un cambio camera con installazione di \"pinguino delonghi\". Il mattino dopo, nuovamente un cambio camera. Risultato: una notte in bianco.
Pulizia che lascia a desiderare in quanto era presente muffa nella doccia e il pavimento sporco di polvere e sabbia.
Peccato per l'atteggiamento poco professionale e maleducato del personale che lavora la notte in quanto il mattino dopo e durante il giorno erano tutti estremamente gentili.
Da rivedere pulizia e personale con turno notturno a cui mancano le basi dell'educazione e dell'accoglienza.

L’hôtel est situé directement face au port, très facile d’accès lorsqu’on débarque du ferry. Beau bâtiment moderne mais avec le style de l’ancien. Grande chambre, propre. Terrasse panoramique avec une vue époustouflante où on peut prendre l’apéritif et le petit déjeuner. A recommander vivement !

Accoglienza e soggiorno super. Hotel eccellente per posizione, vista, bellezza delle stanze ,colazione in terrazza panoramica ma soprattutto per la gentilezza e cortesia della direzione e di tutto lo staff. Camera semplice ma confortevole, bella vista, personale cortese.
All'ultimo piano c'è la sala colazione con una splendida vista ma le sedie metalliche quando strisciano sul pavimento ceramico, peraltro ruvido, trasmettono un rumore orribile alle camere al piano sottostante che peraltro dovrebbero essere le migliori!

Wunderbares EckZimmer im 4 Stock mit Aussicht zum Hafen. Gute Betten ! Frühstück auf der Dachterasse mit guter Auswahl. Sehr hilfsbereites freundliches Personal.
Vielen Dank!! Sehr zu empfehlen auch wenn die Insel sehr ruhig ist und nicht so viel hergibt. Carloforte ist ein echte klein italienische Stadt mit viel italenita!!

Ich parkte direkt vor dem Eingang des Hotels und wurde sehr interessiert vom Personal des Empfangs dabei beobachtet,wie ich mein Gepäck aus dem Auto lud und dann den Eingangsbereich betrat.Allerdings kam es dem Empfangspersonal nicht in den Sinn,einmal nachzufragen,ob ich oder meine Frau,hilfe benötigen würden.Da bestünde durchaus Optimierungsbedarf seitens des Hotels

Ottimo hotel sul lungomare con la spettacolare terrazza per la colazione e bar. Ci hanno poi organizzato una bella crociera privata attorno all’isola. In settembre le tariffe crollano ma non il livello del servizio sempre alto.

Arrivo traumatico. Ci assegnano una camera che non corrisponde a quella della prenotazione con bagno disabili e sanitari e doccia preposti allo scopo. Chiediamo un cambio camera e ci viene data una stanza al piano terra(fronte strada) illuminata soltanto da 3 faretti, 2 dei quali bruciati. Chiamiamo il front office e ci inviano un manutentore che prontamente sostituisce le lampadine ma lascia a terra polvere e calcinacci che non vengono ripuliti per tutta la notte. Colazione no comment: salumi anneriti perché non riposti in appositi vassoi refrigeranti e uova ghiacciate perché non in scaldavivande. A questo punto chiamiamo il supporto expedia che ci fa ottenere un cambio camera. Anche qui prese non funzionanti e phon bruciato. Dulcis in fundo il secondo giorno a colazione una signora si sente male e sviene e il personale (evidentemente non formato ler la gestione delle emergenze) non si prodiga nel prestare il primo soccorso ma continua a servire cappuccini e caffè. Per fortuna i clienti tra cui un medico si sono attivati immediatamente. Personale accomodante e cordiale. Per concludere in poche parole: NON UN 4 STELLE, UN DISCRETO 3 STELLE!

la camera assegnata era a piano terra su una strada dove passavano auto e persone, impossibile aprire finestre e tende. Richiesto il cambio camera siamo stati spostati in una camera al primo piano posta sopra la lavanderia, che dalle 7 del mattino cominciava la sua rumorosissima attività, fra cui lo scarico e carico di camion che sostavano sotto la nostra finestra. Impossibile dormire! peccato, personale gentile ottime colazioni non sono bastate a cancellare i palesi errori di gestione della direzione.

L'hotel ha un'ottima posizione sul lungomare, comodo per gli imbarchi, ma anche per passeggiare nel centro del paese. Le camere sono di buon livello, spaziose e pulite, ed il personale in reception gentile e disponibile. Quello che mi ha impedito di dare una valutazione superiore, è stato il servizio della colazione. Purtroppo la qualità è molto deludente, non coordinato da un manager e svolto da addetti che denotavano una scarsa professionalità. In un rumore continuo di stoviglie, appena si registrava un picco di presenze mancava tutto, dalle brioche sempre crude a piatti e posate spesso non lavati a dovere. Mi dispiace ma in 7 giorni è sempre stato così. Signori, investite in formazione del personale.

Hotel Parfaitement situé et de belle qualité. Vue splendides du port et la mer (à 50m) depuis les chambres de devant et partiellement sur celles de côté. Carloforte et une petites ville sympathique et on y trouve de tout. Belle plages de sable sur l'île, la réception vous renseignera parfaitement. Petit déjeuner complet et copieux. Literie de qualité et les nuits sont tranquilles, peu de bruit.
