I had an excellent stay at Hotel Central. The staff were so helpful, friendly and kind.
Communication was excellent in advance of my stay, they contacted me to check on my arrival time (and to share the Geneva free travel pass).
When I arrived, I was welcomed by staff who spoke excellent English and had prioritised my room cleaning to make sure I was able to check in when I arrived (earlier than standard check in).
The room was very clean and I appreciated the provision of a fan (it was exceptionally hot the night I stayed).
It was noisy in the street, but that is expected based on the excellent central location. I appreciated the small balcony and that you could open the windows.
The location is great- so convenient for everything you want in Geneva, and easy to navigate the city with the free transportation card.

Great location and is a great cheaper option compared to the other hotels that are offered in Geneva.

It’s more old fashioned so don’t expect spacious rooms and private bathrooms. Really great for allowing you to sleep comfortably without breaking the bank (I was budgeting)

Thanks to the receptionist, we had a wonderful time. She went way out of her way to make us comfortable. She suggested a restaurant which was exactly what we were looking for. Room was expectedly small, but exactly what we expected. Thank you for making our stay in Geneva memerable.

The room was of a good size with 2 shower rooms there were 3 adults sharing so this cam in handy. Plenty of wardrobe space with hangers and very close to the centre just a 5 minute walk.

Room was cleaned daily. The staff were fantastic; always pleasant and so helpful. A great base to explore the old town of Geneva, and you may qualify for the Geneva Travel Card which allows free travel on public transport around the Canton of Geneva.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is central Geneva on the edge of the old city and points of interest. Restaurant downstairs in the office building was very friendly but only had croissants for breakfast. Room did not look like it had been updated since 1950. Entrance door was into the bathroom. Shower was tight. Good hot water. I guess this is what one gets for the price in Geneva.

We chose this hotel for its central location close to old city and its affordability. They offered to set up our room as 2 singles or a double. Our room was simple but clean. We had 2 very basic bathrooms which worked well for us. The staff were super helpful and friendly. We needed a key or code to gain access to the elevator to rooms, felt safe. This is not a 5 star luxurious place, but we were very satisfied with the accommodations and location. Nice view from balcony too.

Our room was for 3 persons and it had 2 bathrooms which was nice. The sofa bed was not very comfortable. The hotel has a few steps to go up and the hotel lobby is on the 6th floor, accessible by a lift. The steps are inconvenient when carrying luggage.

We stayed in a bunk bed room without a toilet. It was perfectly nice and comfortable. Beware the bunk bed was quite squeaky with any movement, so just be aware of that. Otherwise, our stay and room were great.

This hotel was in a shopping complex, & I did have a few problems trying to find the entrance. I also had a few issues trying to connect my laptop with the WIFI. But in the end I managed to get access to the WIFI The staff were really helpful with the room being cleaned in the morning, but without the pressure to get out early

Location couldn't be better.

Generally pretty good! Location couldn't be better, and though the room was small, it was fine as a solo traveller, and the bed was very comfortable. It was also good value for central Geneva.- All big positives, and I'd be happy to return. It was helpful to receive the tourist travel card before getting there, so could be used to travel to the hotel from the airport. Thank you.
A few minor details were not quite so positive:
I arrived just after 18.00 when the main entrance is locked, so couldn't get in at first! Fortunately people came out shortly after I arrived, so let me in.
I didn't like being woken up the first morning by insistant knocking on the door by staff wanting to service the room. (Reception gave me a 'do not disturb' sign for the other 2 nights, but I had to ask for that.)
Anyone with mobility limitations should note that the shower is very tightly squeezed into the bathroom with a steep step into and out of it, and stepping out could be a slip hazard.
These are minor details, and the positives definitely outweighed the negatives!

We stayed here for a 2 night break to Geneva for the Christmas markets. It was a fantastic location on the edge of the old town, and a street back from the main shopping thoroughfair so quiet most of the time. Excellent location for both the old town and the Christmas markets at the other side of the river (approx 15 min walk). Room itself was spacious and comfortable if in need of a little tlc (e.g. few patches of peeling paintwork on ceiling - but nothing affecting our stay) We were unlucky on the second night to be kept awake by guests in the room above who seemed to be moving furniture around at 1am, 3am and 5am (wooden flooring very noisy). Staff were all very helpful and welcoming and I would definitely stay here again.

Open door to see a toilet. Shower is at least a 12 inch step up-very dangerous. Tap in sink and shower not installed properly. Shower has mold. Tiny little bugs everywhere. Asked for quiet room and told there were earplugs in the room. Only good thing was location.

The only problem is comfort: very small place, the WC is in a separate room by itself (no hand wash), one needs to keep the door open to use it and close a separate hallway door to the main room for privacy.

Found I had a lot of messages prior to and on the day to ask about arrival time after replying each time I found this a lot as was a busy work trip and this was a stopover to experience Geneva before coming home

This place was great. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy. Keep in mind, that it is a very old building in a historic area. Some modern comforts/conveniences, like central air conditioning and a large bathroom, are, rightly, not present.

Great location, great staff.

Loved our stay here, an absolutely amazing location. One thing to be warned about that because it's smack dab in the old Town center, there is a LOT of noise. The hotel is amazing and recognizes this though and provides ear plugs. Highly recommend this place, staff were also sweet and helpful.
