I’ll write a review later once I return home from holiday & which thankfully continues on at a far better property in terms of quality & very impirtantky decent customer service which this hotel sadly lacks in fir done of its staff & in particular one of its managers Mark. Extremely disappointing & not what I expect at all of Leonardo. Because if his behaviour towards me alone, let alone anything else I would not recommend AT ALL! I will be making a formal complaint as well & once I’ve enjoyed the rest of my holiday.

Nice hotel with a rooftop pool - very good for Barcelona - the area is not the best but it’s ok. Only gripes were the lifts and which had a mind of its own and the showers ovss was flowed in both our and our friends room - maintenance came but made no difference.

The room was clean with all bathing supplies and towels. Home slippers and beach slippers were provided. The breakfast was excellent and all items were fresh. The hotel location in Las Ramblas was quiet and there was no disturbance. Loved the hotel.

When we arrived at the hotel we were impressed by the friendly and professional staff. As well, the room was well laid out with plenty of room, nice and clean. The bathroom was very good, lots of room, nice amenities and quite modern. So far, so good until the noise started. The walls were \"paper thin\" and we could actually hear, word for word the conversations of both rooms adjacent to ours. Not only that, every time another guest came or went, the doors slam behind the guest - woke us up late in the night on both nights were stayed. The noise from the neighbors music in room 201 was so loud that we had to ask the front desk to have them turn it down which was a bit of a shame because they weren't playing the music all that loud but the \"paper thin\" walls meant that they couldn't enjoy their music. We've been travelling in Europe for a month now and have stayed in 6 hotels so far - this is by far the noisiest. If we'd been staying more than 2 nights before our cruise, we would have checked out. We realize that most hotels have some noise issues but this one was \"over the top\" !!! If you value a peaceful sleep, don't stay at this hotel. In conclusion, I would not stay at this hotel again and cannot recommend it to others.

The hotel location is very good. Plenty of shopping and dining options near by. The rooms need a little bit of work as far as updating in particular the bathrooms. Breakfast in the hotel is very good. Very fresh and many options. Very convenient

While our room was very small (hey we booked the cheapest) it had all we needed. Great shower and bathroom space, good internet, fridge etc.
Reception level was great with bar on site. Also had a great breakfast buffet available that was much better than expected.
Staff were exellent. Location was fantastic, other than road construction on nearby on major street nearby.

We stayed here for two nights and were very happy with the hotel. Close to all shops and restaurants, 10min walk to the sea, staff were great and they have lockers for you to keep your bags after check out to be collected later. Will be staying again.

Our room was very small and had an abstract design. Very difficult to move around, the shower was super small, and bathroom was not easy for 2 people to clean up in. Our friends paid the same price and had a much nicer, square, large shower and well designed bathroom. We paid the same price for an unacceptable room. Staff were not all that friendly, front desk only had one person at check out. Breakfast was average but did the job for us. Very disappointed as we did not receive the value for price paid.

We arrived an hour and a half before check-in and would have loved to have been offered early check in. The female attendant at the time pointed us to luggage storage and basically said see you at 3:00. The rooms look much bigger in the photos than ours was, and you could barely turn around in the bathroom. That said, the room was clean and the daily breakfast was great! The location was central and walking distance to several attractions.

The hotel is not for me. Loud noise from cleaners early in the morning. Drilling over my head at 10 am staff could care less, evening girl at desk l reported the cleaners are slamming the doors early in the morning and is very loud. Woke up with a headache still the Same thing the next day. How ever l stay there cause l needed to be in that area at the moment. I personally would not stay there again. Breakfast was not worth the price. Room is too small. And bed is not of the best two twin beds but very old. And hair dryer, need upgrade ,shower no fan to vent the air after shower every time l shower can’t do face or hair every thing is frost from showering!

We stayed at the Leonardo Las Ramblas hotel for 1 night after a cruise. Check in went smoothly, the luggage storage available for €2 per locker was appreciated as we arrived early in the morning and departed in the early evening the next day. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean - we saw their staff cleaning the public areas regularly, and our room was immaculate. The room was great & had a comfortable bed. Short walking distance to Las Ramblas and Plaça Catalunya. We would definitely stay here again.

Staff was generally nice and the room was clean. But the neighborhood is not too convenient as far as taking taxi is concerned. Property location is very close to Las Ramblas and Boqueria market but you sometimes have to paas thru narrow alleys to get there. I suggest checking the location and the neighborhood first to see if it suit your needs and your preferred ambience.

We chose the Leonardo as we have stayed at them in other cities. Overall, the hotel was fine, but the restaurant was only open for breakfast which was disappointing.
The staff were courteous and helpful. The location was excellent in terms of las Ramblas, with plentiful restaurants and bars.
My only negative against the hotel has to do with the actual room. It was an economy room and had to be the smallest room I have ever stayed in, maybe 100 square feet. No chair, no fridge etc. You needed to move the night table to access half of the small closet. Accessing the far side of the bed required you to shimmy sideways to fit between the bed and the Television. My wife actually bruised her shoulder trying to get past during the night. Other rooms would definitely be a better choice.

Het hotel ligt in het centrum. Dat is een pluspunt. Maar veel kamers liggen inpandig en hebben geen daglicht of frisse lucht. Onze kamer, economy, was veel te klein (14m2) en onpraktisch, terwijl de prijs hiervoor toch aanzienlijk is. Mensen die lang en/ of groot zijn, kunnen zich hier niet vrij in bewegen. We hebben bedden verschoven om een looppad naar de kledingkast en de badkamer te maken.
De kamer was gehorig. Je kon anderen goed horen. Ook was de kamer heel donker, met een raam in een luchtkoker en gaas ervoor.
Je wist niet of het dag of nacht was. Je kon niet ontspannen op de kamer, want er waren geen stoelen. Je kon zitten op de koelkast, het bed of de wc. De badkamer was naar verhouding ruim en netjes, met een goede douche. Het personeel was vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was vooral Engels gericht; bacon &eggs. Wat kleine zoetigheden. Niet veel variatie. Tafels stonden dichtbij elkaar, veel drukte vanaf 9.30 uur en koude airco-wind. Omdat het mooi weer was, was het zwembad open! Dat was heel fijn. Het dakterras is groot en heeft veel stoelen. Deze zijn alleen niet geschikt voor een spelletje aan tafel (loungemodel). Spelletjes kon je beneden doen, bij de bar. In de bar kon je tv kijken, als er iemand was die wist hoe de tv werkte.
We hebben ons prima vermaakt, maar kiezen de volgende keer toch voor een ander hotel. Geen visitekaartje voor de Leonardogroep! We raden dit hotel niet aan.

A very well-placed hotel for La Rambla with shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. The room was very comfortable with a generous bathroom, fresh fruit and water on arrival. There's not much of a view due to the narrow streets, but it was a quiet road and we were very happy with everything. The staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend and would stay again.

The hotel itself is nicely decorated, and the staff are very efficient. Our room was quite small, however the bed was huge and it was very comfortable. The bathroom was lovely. Cleaning was very good too.
We used the rooftop pool a couple of times, which was great. The bar area was also fab, as were the cocktails.
The hotel is very close to La Boqueria food market which was great for breakfast snacks. I would recommend this hotel.

The rooms are very small, as are the two elevators, only two persons at a time in the elevator, when we saw our room we asked for a larger one but were told all rooms are the same size, hardly any room to put our suitcases, the bathroom is spacious and the shower was good
The staff were very nice and the breakfast was very good with a wide selection of hot food, pastries fruits cereal etc, there is a pool on the top floor and a bar area too, the area itself is just off the Ramblas and there’s a large police presence at night, we were told to be careful if walking around the area at night but we didn’t have any trouble , apart from the size of the room we enjoyed our stay

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. Le personnel est très gentil. La piscine bien que pas très grande et la section bar sur le toit sont très appréciés après une longue journée de marche. À quelques coins de rue de la Ramblas et à proximité de 2 stations de métro et d’une épicerie. Je ne m’aventurerai cependant pas à pied en pleine nuit dans le quartier environnant.

My wife and I recently stayed at Leonardo Hotel Barcelona and overall we had a positive experience. The hotel’s location is one of its biggest advantages – it’s conveniently close to restaurants, shops, and public transportation. Most major tourist attractions are easily accessible either on foot or by metro, which made exploring the city very convenient.

The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive. The rooms were well-kept, tidy, and refreshed daily. Common areas such as the lobby and hallways were also clean and organized, which added to the overall comfort of the stay. The breakfast was also a highlight — great variety, fresh options, and very well organized. It was a great way to start the day.

Staff were generally friendly and helpful, and check-in/check-out was smooth. If you’re looking for a clean and well-located place to stay in Barcelona that gives you easy access to everything, Leonardo Hotel is a solid choice.

Room was small but very nice and clean! The only flaw was the shower was tiny, a bigger than average person would be very uncomfortable showering. Breakfast buffet was great! And rooftop pool and bar are so nice!! Plenty of room to sunbathe! Front desk was nice for the most part!

This was a nice hotel for a city break and its exactly as other people have described so i will do the same. Location is okay in terms of about a 5 min walk to the main strip of las ramblas however is in a very dodgy location which is probably what brings the star review down because there isnt much else wrong. In saying this we had absolutely 0 issues with anything or anyone but locals did warn us not to venture back to late at night as unfortunately tourist aren't the most popular at the moment as well reported. Staff were brilliant and were a credit to themselves and food was great.

The location was amazing. We walked everywhere. Morning breakfast was plentiful with options. Bread, meat, eggs, cheese, coffee, fruit, cereals, pastry, oat milk, etc.

Overall, enjoyed the hotel stay and offering. Found the rooms a bit small compare to the pictures but it was comfortable, clean and quiet.

Thought the per night rate to be a bit expensive, however, comparable prices in Barcelona were not cheaper.

Greatly enjoyed the central location. Would stay here again and recommend without hesitation.

The beds, bedding and pillows were so comfortable! We had blissful cosy sleep! It’s a nice looking hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. A warm welcome each time we entered the reception. We appreciated that so much. Oh! And what a luxurious shower! Wow! I highly recommend it and if I am lucky enough to return to Barcelona, I will immediately look for a vacancy at Leonardo and hope I don’t have to go anywhere else. Would love to stay again.
