We absolutely loved our stay at Chiu Chunt Dint. It is at an excellent location right on the old street in Jiufen, right near the beginning. The room was quite large for such a crowded area. The staff was so helpful. Breakfast was larger than I would have expected and quite tasty. Only downsides are no elevator, but to be expected in an old building. Also if you pay at property, remember to bring cash as they don't accept credit cards.

I stayed in a so-called 'VIP' room and had an unbelievable variety of experiences.
One of the hand towels smelled bad because it wasn't properly sanitized/dried. But until then, I thought that since this was a relatively large B&B and not a hotel, such an unprofessional mistake was understandable.
However, mold on wallpaper and windows was easy to spot even if I didn't look closely. I already fully understood it's humid Jiufen. But if it's that contaminated with mold, they should at least change the wallpaper before welcoming guests.
At 4am, I was woken up by a machine that might be related to water pressure regulation, making a super-loud noise. I haven't slept a wink since.
What was even more surprising was that when I showed a recording of the sound to the staff in the morning, they already knew what it was and what caused it. This property already knew about it, but they did not fix it, did not inform us in advance, and took the reservation without telling us. Usually, accommodation providers always announce in advance if there is a possibility of noise due to construction or mechanical reasons at a certain time. However, this property ignored it and attempted a kind of 'SCAM'. I stayed over 80 nights at global brands like Marriott, locals like Cozzi, and other small properties during 7 times visiting to Taiwan. However, this experience was definitely out of the standard of accommodation service we can expect in this lovely country.

Wow! What a find! Smack in the middle of old street, this B&B was awesome. Great customer service and the room was neat and tidy. It was raining and there was a dehumidifier in the room. Breakfast was provided and the location simply cannot be overstated. We will definitely stay here again!

This is a very beautiful B&B. It is in a prime location. Very close to bus stop. Right in the heart of Juifen old street. Looks beautiful. Lot of tourist take pictures in front of this B&B. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. My kids loved their stay here. They even gave us free breakfast for four. If I travel to Taiwan again will definitely go to Juifen and stay here again.

We have booked the Sea view room. Upon entering the room, you can smell the thick muskiness. We reckon the smelln came from the humidlity, old furnitures and moulds in the whole room.

The toilets are filled with mould- on the wall, door and tiles. We do not want to shower there and had to wear bathroom slippers in.

The mouldy smell is so bad that I cant fall asleep until 5am in the morning.

it is really not a great experience especially we are looking forward to enjoy the seaview room. I will not recommend especially when we paid SGD 156 for a room and had to tolerate the smell, rusty appliances and stained windows.

PS: for someone with sensitvitiy to mould, please avoid

It's not hard to find the entrance of this hotel.
Room size is small, has a basin inside of shower. Shower water isn't hot and has pressure issue. Breakfast is simple, served with bread, fried eggs, salad and ham. Portion is small.

It's a 6.5 out of 10 stay.

Excellent breakfast, their meat sauce (braised pork) and red bean breakfast was top notch, better than restaurant quality. Location is directly within the famous Jiufes street, so it is very easy to access the rest of the town from the hotel. However, be mindful it is very difficult to reach the hotel during busy hours as the market street is full (packed full) with a river of people. There is a backstreet (with steps) which we used to get in and out.

The place is in a prime spot in JiuFen. Unfortunately the Restaurant attached isn't very customer friendly.They close super early, which limits offerings for those staying at their BNB.
Breakfast is at 7:00 promptly ending at 8:00. Though the Breakfast is delicious.
The rooms were passable, though it had a smell coming from the bathroom, it smelled of mold. Perhaps repainting is in order. The view from the Balcony (top floor) is excellent and great.

If I were to revisit Jiufen, though I would more likely look for another BnB.

Most everything can be summarized with \"it was an awesome stay!\" The room was immaculately clean, the view was amazing, all the furnishing were comfortable, and the location was killer.

There's one, small blemish on the otherwise great stay. The provided breakfast was kind of odd and sad. I'm not certain if this is given to all guests or not but it felt like someone googled \"what do Americans eat?\". I think it was the second time I've seen ketchup in roughly a month of living in Taipei... However! The also available Taiwanese continental breakfast available of rice, beef/tofu chili-esque sauce, and a black bean soup was delicious! So, we definitely didn't go hungry.

Loved the B&B!

It was super comfortable and convenient from where we were staying to the main attraction: A-mei Teahouse! I would consider staying here again given that they provided great service and super clean rooms. My family enjoyed it very much so because they also gave really good breakfast options. Just for future reference, they would require reservations for breakfast.

Excellent suite and service is good. A lady offered us some tea the moment we entered the lobby. Easy to find the place as it is along the Jiufen Old Street. If you get the suite, the bay view is similar to the one you get from teahouses, so you can skip the teahouse. Breakfast is a fixed set meal with free flow braised meat rice and yummy red bean yam balls.

ベッド2つ使うつもりで予約した部屋でしたが、１つを2人で使うようにされていました。そちらも使えるようにお願いすればよかったと後悔しています。12月、雨で肌寒い日でした。暖房設備がないのか、寒かったです。

九份老街の入口から2～3分くらいの立地でカフェが併設されており使い勝手が良いホテルでした。部屋自体はエアコンが古いからか少しかび臭い感じはありましたが、掃除はしてくれている印象です。洗面周りはシャワーとトイレの仕切りが無いため、シャワーを浴びるとトイレの方まで水が飛んでしまいますが、洗面所用のスリッパがあるのでそれを履いてトイレすれば問題ありませんでした！
（気になる人は少しグレードが高い部屋を予約すると良いかも？）
朝食も美味しく、カウンターの方に座ることができれば九份老街の通りを眺めながら食事できて最高です。

九份の商店街の中にあるB＆Bで立地は抜群に良いです。1階がカフェレストランで朝食は8時過ぎになりますが、食べることが出来ます。スタッフのサービスも良く、部屋には水やジュース、お茶が無料サービスで付いてきますので大変良かったです。また九份に泊まる際にはお世話になります。

有名な九份老街の中にあり、とてもアクセス、スタッフの対応も素晴らしかったです。
家族が途中で合流する事になり、部屋をアップグレードしたのですが、イメージ写真通りの部屋で眺めも良かった。
ただ、欲を言えば奥の部屋は布団が床に直引きだったので、マットレスがあればと思います、
いずれにせやまた、泊まりたいホテルです。

立地が素晴らしい。九份のメインストリートである基山街にあります。
台北からのバスを降りてセブンイレブンの横の道を入ってすぐのカフェに併設されており、おしゃれな気分のまま滞在できます。
宿泊した部屋はノスタルジックで、良い雰囲気でした。

朝食時には階下のカフェの窓際に座りましたが、商店街の朝の景色を見ながらいただくコーヒーが素敵でした。

九份老街のセブンイレブン入口から歩いてすぐの三叉路にあるGolden Cafeの上階がホテルになっています。
Cafeのレジでチェックインし、右脇の階段を上がって部屋に行きます（エレベーターはありません）。
Cafeで1杯コーヒーを飲んだらもう1杯サービスのチケットをもらいましたが、結局Cafeには入りませんでした。
部屋（コンフォートスイートベッド複数台）は清潔で問題ありません。
ただ、トイレがなぜか2つありその1つがシャワールームを兼ねていて、あまりに普通の洗面所なので「えっここで浴びるの？」と面食らうと思います。大丈夫、なんとか浴びられます。
また、ダブルベッドに掛け布団は1枚しかなく、寒い日だったのでもう1枚追加できないかと聞いたらNoと断られました。
スタッフは片言の英語で意思疎通できるし、Cafe閉店後でも出入りできるよう鍵を貸してくれます。
何と言っても基山街のど真ん中という好立地は、夜も朝も買い物や散歩を心ゆくまで楽しめます。特に朝は景色が美しく、また行きたいと思いました。

立地は最高で九份老街入り口のセブンまで徒歩3分、アメオチャまで脇目もふらず歩いて約15分。観光客が少なくなった夜道を歩きたかったため、分かりやすく危なくない場所にあるホテルに泊まりたくて選んだが実際良かった。
スタッフも親切にカードキーの説明をしてくださった。カフェが1階にあり、そこで朝食もいただける。（朝食280NT）カフェも対応しなからのスタッフさん達、終始忙しそうだった。
部屋は目の前の飲食店の屋上が見える景色で、室外機など剥き出し感が台湾らしく4階の窓からの景色はまぁまぁ。水回りはとても綺麗。アメニティも十分で、UCCドリップコーヒー、紅茶、お菓子も常備されていた。

ただ一つ残念だったのは、虫が出たこと。すごく足が早い薄赤茶色の3cmくらいの虫。夜寝る前に枕元を走り、翌朝メイク中にも目の前を走った。壁も走り、飛びそうな勢いもあった。日本では見たことない虫だった。気持悪すぎて調べていないけど、もしかしたらGの仲間かもしれない。室内は掃除が行き届いていたように見えたのに。。。見たこともない虫が同部屋で生きていると思うと、その気持ち悪さは言葉にならない。スミマセン、リピートなしです。

とにかくカビとカビ臭がすごかったのですが、次の宿もそうだったので、台湾では一般的な環境なんでしょうかね？
スタッフや立地はとても良かったので、総合3評価です。

地方非常好找，逛老街也非常方便。
但是支付只收现金，不收信用卡，我们不得不找去邮便局换钱。附近商家很多，但是卫生情况堪忧。
酒店的花洒喷头是后装的，所以会搞到厕所洗面台很湿。被褥也不太舒服。当然，如果你只要求方便好找，那倒的确值得推荐。
