The hotel had the perfect set up for a very enjoyable stay near Jiufen Old Street. It was like staying in a hidden four star hotel with a modern clean room, free fully stocked mini bar, great view of the ocean, and friendly staff. Very easy to get to, and so conveniently located to explore the lantern alleys at night when the tourist have all left. We were able to get the full experience of Studio Ghibli' Spirited Away thanks to this hotel.

We had the most amazing and breathtaking experience in Jiufen. The highlight of our trip was our stay at Something Easy Inn. The hotel has the most incredible views — truly unforgettable. I spent hours just sipping coffee while looking out at the scenery, completely mesmerized. The location is wonderful as well, offering peace, charm, and easy access to everything Jiufen is known for.

Highly recommended for anyone wanting a beautiful and relaxing stay in Jiufen.

Stayed here for two nights, we got a lovely welcome and tour of the property. Room had lovey views and was very peaceful. Property is very central for exploring Juifen. A small annoyance but one of the bedsides in our room didn't have a reading light. I would not recommend the restaurant near the hotel that you get a discount for staying at the hotel, this restaurant was recommended to us by the inn staff. The staff at the restaurant were extremely rude, never explained how to order, money snatched out of my hands when paying and food was disappointing. This restaurant being recommended is the reason for the inn losing one star.

Everything was amazing and perfect!

Amy was running the place at the time of our stay and was very atrentive and provided excellent recommendations for food and drink.

Make sure to contact the hotel prior if driving your own car - the streets are tricky!

Get lost in the alley ways and have fun!

Misleading Advertising and Very Unpeaceful

It is unfortunate because the people are very nice and the place is quite beautiful. However, this hotel is not good unless you are fortunate to be in a room that maybe is not plagued by the problems I experienced.

#1 - it is soooooo loud. I was in a room directly below the restaurant. It was like constant walking on top of your head, people dragging furniture, people dropping things, etc. The hotel recognizes the problem and can only apologize. It is too small of a hotel to have alternative rooms.

#2 - It says it is a bed and breakfast. There is no breakfast offered. This was confirmed by the hotel.

#3 - It says that the hotel has a kids recreation area. This is not true. There is absolutely nothing here for kids. I am glad that my wife child didn't arrive.

All in all, the people are lovely and try to do what they can, but they are powerless as this is a problem with how the hotel is advertised, how the rooms sit under a restaurant (also owned by the same people), etc. It was a very unpleasant stay and I left before even staying a night.

Location right smack in Jiufen’s tourist area. The room was not ready when we arrived. This was fine but we suspect the bedsheets were not clean bedsheets as they are crumpled and have some stains.

Beds are not the most comfortable but we managed.

The bathroom amenities are chargeable but information is sneakily subtle.

Good view nonetheless.

Lovely place to relax and enjoy time in Jiufen after walking around all day! The view is amazing. The room was very clean and bed comfortable. We love the free snacks and tea to enjoy while you soak in the view. Only took away one star because the wall are thin and we could hear the room next door pretty well.

Everything exceeds my expectations except 2 things. If you have a noisy neighbour, you will hear them. And you will need to ask the hotel for the most convenient directions to reach the hotel. Otherwise, you will go thru a lot of uphill stairs and swamp of tourists if you have bigger luggages.

Everything about this stay was WONDERFUL! They allowed me to check in early and gave me a tour of the entire place. The ease of which you can roam around Jiufen is truly top notch. The room was clean and spacious with a wonderful balcony to enjoy morning coffee on and watch the town below you come alive. The face mask was a wonderful way to end my night and the mini bar provided was exceptional. I would love to come and stay here again!

Pros: The sea view from the room. Modern furnishing and decor. Right in jiufen Old Street. Convenient location. Close to bus stops. Friendly staff. Got us checked in early thanks to their diligence in room turnover. 24/7 coffee tea and snacks upstairs.

Cons: Some cleanliness and maintenance issues like mould at the bottom of the big window, and in the inside corner adjacent to the patio. Shower water leaking through the glass wall into the toilet side.

The old village where this hotel is located is extremely crowded and the streets really narrow which wind up a mountain. You must not bring your check in luggage. There is a train station nearby called the RuiFang. You can leave your bags theirs securely for $2.50 USD per night.

The location of Something Easy Inn is private, secured and in the midst of Jiufen attractions. Amy is very friendly and helpful during check-in. She provide a personal tour of the facility and arrange for all of my transportation needs. However, Cindy at the central reservation is non-responsive to my telephone request for the change of itinerary. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.

This was a beautiful apt!! The view is astounding! The rooms are spacious, the kitchen nice, the snacks available are a nice touch. Very quiet too. I absolutely loved staying here. Just out the door is Jiufen old street where you can buy snacks and souveniers.

Staffs were friendly, and gave us information before our departure to Taipei regarding Jiufen e.g. transportations and recommended restaurants.
The room is spacious and clean, stylish and cosy. The toilet has a bathtub and can enjoy bubble bath. The view outside was great though it was raining the day we visited.
It has a 24 hour minibar with snacks and coffee, and we don't have to worry about getting hungry at midnight.

Loved the place so much! It was a little hard to get to because it was a walk from the carpark and we waited for awhile at the inn for someone to come attend to us when we reached but that was the one and only minor gripe
Instructions and communication was very clear, thanks a lot
Location was perfect, with beautiful views of the sea
The room had ac and heaters for those who are afraid of cold
Bedding was comfy and the toilet was also nice and well equipped w toileteries

Best stay during this trip and wish we could stay for an extra night to enjoy the view. Look just like the photos and as it described. Owner was very helpful and arranged taxi for departure. Hands down for best location and best view in Jiufen. On the expensive end for our trip (the most expensive hotel during our trip, but the view is worth it!). Downside is the washroom has an unpleasant smell due to the design, doesn’t seem to have good ventilation and had to rely heavily on the fans.

This hotel is located within the Jiufen old street (at the end of the street). So the surrounding is quite. Inside the hotel, there is no lift as the space is limited. If u need to go to your room / lobby / get to the old street from your hotel, you need to take stairs. It would be a bit difficult for elder, but this hotel is definitely worth the stay with amazing night view of Jiufen from your hotel room's window. The hotel is clean, provide 24hour breads & beverages. Overall, I would give this hotel 5 star our of 5 star! Highly recommended.

Stayed for 2 nights in this inn. While the price is steep compared to the others nearby, I was really satisfied and happy that I chose this inn. First, they don't skimp on the amenities. You get what you pay as they provide high quality amenities, 24 hours self service foods and drinks, and good view. I stayed in the room with the balcony, and you get to see the beautiful view without the crowd in the comfort of your room's balcony or the hotel's rooftop. Also, if you plan to take the pictures of the famous tea house at night, then it's better for you to stay in Jiufen until the crowd from Taipei is gone, around 9 to 10 p.m. I would recommend it to especially couples and would really love to come back and stay here again.

九份を人の少ない時間帯に見なくて宿泊をしました。このホテルは場所が分かりにくいのですが、事前に行き方のpdfを送ってもらえたので、全く問題ありませんでした。メインストリートから近く便利で、一方、お部屋は静かで眺めはよく、美しく清潔で快適でした。文句のつけようがありません。

九份老街バス停からはかなり距離があるので、予約した時点から、宿からメールをくださり、近くにある小学校をタクシー運転手に伝えて来たら便利ですよと教えていただきました。瑞芳駅からUberで小学校を指定すると、たまたまその運転手が悪かったのか、ここからは車が侵入できないので歩いて行けと、途中で下ろされて、スーツケースを転がして夜道、坂道を歩く羽目に。かなり大変でした。
宿の方はとても親切で、翻訳アプリを使って色々教えてくださり、お部屋も清潔でミニバーも充実で満足でした。老街には建物の一回から降りるとすぐです。

1 natt i Jiufen

Vi hadde 1 natt i Grand dobbelt rom med hav utsikt. Litt vanskelig å finne frem, men innsjekking gikk veldig fint. Verten er hyggelig og forklarer alt i detaljer på engelsk selvom han ikke kan språket flytende. Fri minibar består i hovedsak kaffe, te, små kaker, kjeks og juice. Ingen brus eller alkohol drikker. Nydelig utsikt for solnedgang fra takterrassen.
