For the price, place was nothing special, would’ve rather stayed at another location for 1/2 the price. Some staff were pleasant while others were not. Some staff not helpful at all. Hot tub only warm water, asked the pool guy, he’s said “I don’t know”. They offer pillow options, called front desk 5 min before 10pm and he said housekeeping off at 10, “so just use pillows in your closet”. Elevator on last day not working. Would expect better experience for a higher end hotel.

We received a room upgrade to an apartment. We traveled on the shoulder season so the hotel wasn’t too bust yet. Breakfast was included in the room rate. It was buffet with plenty of selection and was very good. Three pools and lots of amenities. It was a bummer the spa was closed because we would have loved to get a massage. We recommend trying Restaurant More and the Cave Bar.

Clean room, pleasant staff although our room was entered while we had “Do Not Disturb “ sign on Door. Caught me naked except for a towel. Had 2 hour spa treatment which I enjoyed very much.access to sea is great for those younger than my 73 years. Wonderful paved walking path along sea to restaurants, Sunset Beach, and shops.
Breakfast was among best I’ve had in my world travels. Would definitely go again.

Hotel More was a beautiful hotel. The view of the bay was incredible. Some of the rooms are smaller, but ours was very large - a corner room with a 180 degree + view of the bay. It was also very quiet. It is not in the old city, which was fine with us. The bed was good. Dining options for lunch and dinner were a little limited, but elegant.

The property itself is lovely, but it falls well short of the four-star experience one would expect. Unfortunately, the most disappointing aspect of our stay was the reception team’s leadership. The management came across as condescending and lacking in basic empathy—a stark contrast to the warm hospitality one hopes for.

It’s a real shame, because the hotel has so much potential. The cave bar is stunning, and the sea swimming area is a slice of natural paradise. But a hotel is only as good as its people, and in this case, the reception management seriously lets it down. A sad and frustrating experience overall.

Loved the property. Night crew was a little creepy when I checked out at 4:45 am. It was so dark in lobby I could hardly see to sign the credit card slip. I suspect they were sleeping before I arrived.
Prices for drinks were a little high. Should be a discount for those staying on property

I had booked this hotel for a one night stay many months in advance through Expedia. The day we were flying to this area to stay at the Hotel More, I received an email stating there was construction interfering with some of the suites and that they could not accommodate me any longer at the hotel More. They rebooked me at another property in the area. Needless to say I was not happy about the last minute change. When we arrived in Dubrovnik, we went to the Hotel More. Upon inquiring at the front desk, they admitted that in was due to a computer problem (overbooking) not construction as I had been told. There were so many people with suitcases sitting in the lobby waiting to check in as their rooms were not ready. A little more notice and some honesty could have made this situation much better.

Absolutely beautiful location on the water and the food at restaurant More was amazing (chefs kiss). We spent two days at hotel More as part of our honeymoon itinerary. We quite enjoyed the Cave bar (both inside and outside on the rock terrace). Our room was one of the highlights of our stay- we had a balcony with a sea view that was breathtaking. On our last morning at hotel more we enjoyed breakfast on the balcony and the calming sounds of the ocean. We recommend Hotel More for the amazing ambiance, food and hospitality. Just to note- Hotel More is in the Lapad and coastline area of Dubrovnik, if you want to visit old town to walk the city walls/etc- there is only one road there/back so during peak hours and certainly peak season, you will encountered a plethora of traffic and tourists. Our suggestion is always to visit during shoulder season to avoid the congestion!

Hotel is quite unique. I had a room on rear of the property with a sea view. Which was accessible from the outdoor, so had to walk down some steps to room door. Room was pleasant.
Easy walk down to the breakfast restaurant, breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and quality, great outdoor seating overlooking the seaview and sun rise.Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Hotel has a couple of restaurants and a cave bar. Access onto the path which also leads to other restaurants in walkable distance.

An amazing hotel with the best sea view I have ever experienced. Balcony had sun beds, table and chairs. A very peaceful, relaxing holiday. The staff were very accommodating and quick to rectify a problem with the shower head, bring us a kettle and helped when our flight was cancelled. Bed and pillows comfortable. Beach towels available Breakfast and setting 10 out of 10 !! A definite recommendation. I will be returning next year. Thank you to all the staff.

Loved Hotel More. The views from our balcony were stunning. Easy walk to bus stop for trip to Old Town. Abundance of restaurants close by. Staff were friendly.

Getting around inside the hotel was a bit challenging as the lifts went to two different buildings that were connected only on some floors. It didn’t take away from our 5 star review as all the other positives made it not an issue.

Stayed here in Lapad before joining a cruise. Ten minutes out of the City of Dubrovnik by taxi. Right on the coastline. Fantastic view. Stayed in a balcony room
It was clean. Bathroom had a shower over the bath. Not alot of room though. If you dont plan to spend alot of time in your room then its fine. Had a great verandah . There was more expensive options. Breakfast was fantastic, served on a beautiful patio overlooking the ocean. Great variety. Had a meal in Restaurant More, delicious. Had a drink in the Cave Bar. Unique. Pool areas great.Beach Club very popular.

You will gasp when you reach the hotel, and its grip will never let go. Have a cocktail at Cave Bar, and you will likely ponder how lucky you are to be here.

The hotel service was excellent. A couple of scars in our room, but nothing out-of-the-ordinary. We had our balcony open at night and listened to the Adriatic as we drifted to sleep. Again, how lucky could we possibly be?

As a couple we had a wonderful weekend stay. Although our room was a little dated, it was spacious, clean and it had a wonderful sea view.
The hotel location is fantastic. Walkable to other bars and restaurants via a lovely promenade and right on the sea front.
Although the main pool is small is was never busy and lovely temperature.
The breakfast was good and the view from the restaurant was amazing
The service and staff were excellent.

The only negative about this hotel is the layout is very confusing getting between the wings and the elevators were almost entirely non operational during our stay.

Our stay was quite mixed and definitely disappointing overall.

The positives: promenade walk to bars / restaurants, great view, on-premise restaurant and very nice pool.

BUT - there are basically two hotels. One side to the right (facing the water) which appears quite nice and reasonably modern. And the other, including my room, which is old and very dated. Old, ugly carpet, extremely windy paths, heavy wood and old furniture. For $600 per night, it’s very disappointing.

Whats more, the in-room internet either didnt work at all or was extremely, extremely slow with failures frequent. I alerted the desk on the second day and they did nothing. On the third day, I expressed deeper frustration with the room and internet problem and they sent a technician who came and left without warning. I tracked him down in the hallway and he confessed that he cant fix it and had to leave. Finally, the front desk was well versed in saying “sorry”, but neither really cared nor offered any resolution. Don’t “be sorry”, be better!

For $600 per night, I expected more. My recommendation is to choose another hotel on the promenade.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was amazing. The views from the restaurants were excellent. The breakfast was very nice to have and a variety of options for every type of diner. The staff was great and the property was great. We loved the walk along the promenade. Access to the old city was convenient. Very nice place to stay. Hotel is a bit expensive. They struggle with reservations at the restaurant so make them early and be very clear about what you want.

Wow, wow, wow! We paid for it, however, we slept with the doors open and the sea at our window. The weather was a little wild, but beautiful. Wine on the deck with an uninterrupted seascape, bliss. Had a deluxe suite with hottub on the seafront balcony, which was like an apartment, including two bathrooms. This was the best hotel we have ever stayed in--loved the restaurants and bars that are part of the hotel; the waterfront area with terraced decks of sun loungers was absolutely perfect; and parking was included. Couldn't ask for more! In addition to welcoming us for our honeymoon with a note and bottle of champagne, the staff unexpectedly left a bottle of wine and note for my husband on his birthday.

Every staff member in the hotel and the restaurants were amazing. I would like to especially thank Alexya who was the kindest most thoughtful and helpful person towards us who helped with my needs as I was in a wheelchair due to a foot issue. Thank you Hotel More for such a wonderful stay and we will definitely be returning to your hotel to explore Dubrovnik further. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect with thee most amazing views. I totally recommend the Deluxe Suite it is perfect for the beautiful sunsets.

This property is a really great hotel. With pools and the sea, as well as a great breakfast and dinner and the cave bar it is a wonderful place

The only two ares we struggled with was that even though we booked a double bed the room came with two single beds pushed together and the beds were made separately, not a double bed. Their is also a gym, but it is very small as the machines don’t actually work.

Other than those two things the stay was perfect

Actually, everything was perfect till the last minute. Hotel is amazing, view is great…

However,

I asked for a late check-out whether free of charge for extra 1 hour (my request was for 13.00 Local time) or a paid extension from the reception but the receptionist said that there is no availability.

I said that when I checked online platforms I see many room availabilities. She went inside spoke with her Supervisor and then said that 185 EUR should be paid if I want to extend till 17.00 PM.

I said that I am bit sick and I only need 1 hour extra rest before driving to a long way.

She said not possible. I believe that this word is the enemy of quality and service sector.

What I realized once again is:

A good and well educated human resource can make a bad facility to a great holiday place and Insufficient (and/or non-customer oriented) people can make a great facility to a real bad experience.
