Excellent stay at this beautiful Riad. The property is stunning, peaceful, and full of charm, but what truly made the experience special was the amazing staff. A special thank you to Issam at the front desk, who was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Truly outstanding hospitality — highly recommended.

My wife and I enjoyed the each and every meals taken at Dar des Arts, including the generous and fabulously presented breakfasts, lunch and diner, which we enjoyed on the super comfortable and elegant roof top terrasse. Our fabulous Moroccan style dinner that was prepared by a chef in the kitchen also located on the roof top.

Our superior suite was extremely comfortable despite the fact that decoration was not finished du to recent overall property renovations which render this property stunning.

Beautiful Riad in the heart of the Medina. Easy walking distance from all you would want to visit. Close to a car parking spot for drop off & taxis. Staff were so helpful and attentive. They gave us great advice throughout our stay. Hammam was wonderful.

One of the best ways to experience Marrakesh

Valeria and Giorgina really went over the top making us feel welcome and helping us in our first trip to Marrakesh. The place was inviting and centrally located in the Medina. We were helped take full advantage of the shopping, sightseeing and dinner choices. The Riad also has an excellent Hamman bath & massage facility.

This riad is an establishment of rare comfort. No TV, locks, code, card, just Wi-Fi.
It is flawless, decor in style, in the smallest details. The magnificent rooms, the various corners allowing you to rest, to quench your thirst thanks to the excellent lemonades, the roof terrace and its small swimming pool.
Haven of calm and peace in the heart of the medina 5 minutes walk from the Jemaa-el Fna square.
Varied and complete breakfast, very good menus in the riad, served on the charming terrace, also good restaurants nearby.
A special note to the staff of this riad, cordial, available, delicate and endearing.
Transfer of luggage by cart, easy access. They take care of everything for us.
The gluten-free are very well treated, every day an attention.

This is a beautiful, well run facility in a perfect Marrakesh location,. The service team is fantastic, wonderfully friendly and attentive to every wish. This includes some of the best food in the city Frankly, staying at the Riad is a vacation in itself.

The scent of orange blossom as we entered the Riad set the scene for a most wonderful stay. The proprietor Massimo met us from the taxi drop off and guided us through the maze of the Medina to the peaceful oasis of Clos des Arts.
The Riad is indeed beautiful. The room was sumptuous and comfortable and the bathroom delightfully Moroccan in style.
The rooftop courtyard was a real bonus. A relaxing sun trap with a small plunge pool.
The evening menu is changed daily The food is delicious and imaginatively cooked. You must eat here at least once.
What resonated with us the most was the hospitality from all of the team. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt like house guests staying with friends.
Especially we would like to thank Valeria for her warmth, knowledge and genuine kindness and for making our stay so special. We were also very impressed with Issam's professionalism in dealing promptly with any queries or requests.
This a superb place to stay and we will be back !

We had a great time at Riad Clos des Arts! This riad is even nicer than in the photos and is perfectly located within easy walking distance of all the main sites in Marrakech - down a quiet (but safe!) street just off one of the main shopping roads.

The breakfasts were delicious, rooms are clean and tastefully decorated, and the in-house hammam was great too. All the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, and helped us organize transfers and excursions for both within the city and beyond. If you're not sure where to stay in Marrakech don't hesitate - this is the one!

If I could give this Riad, 10 stars I would! This is an extraordinary boutique hotel where the service was exemplary. Dinner at Clos des Arts was sublime and I had one of the best massages ever in their spa. Book this Riad as soon as you can! Every room is special.

Truly a lovely stay at a beautiful riad with an incredibly thoughtful team. The riad and our room were very clean and tastefully decorated - a glamorous Moroccan feel.

But the team’s personal and considerate approach is what took our experience above and beyond. Once we arrived at the property, the owners gave us a quick rundown on all things Marrakech - they charted must see areas and “danger zones” on a fantastic custom map (which we relied on to navigate the windy Medina throughout our stay), gave us quick tips on cultural norms, and notified us about what to expect price wise from taxis / goods in the Medina / etc.

This personal touch was felt throughout our stay and made our time in Marrakech a breeze. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Impressive and memorable stay

Amazing place with exceptional service provided by warm and friendly owners and staff. I'm usually a chain hotel guest and I cannot say enough good about this very special place. I felt completely taken care of during my visit, from verifying my tour excursions to special meal needs. The team made sure I knew how to navigate the medina and even walked me out to the main thoroughfare. The attention to detail is impressive and I felt like I was at home during my stay.

make better experience at marrakech

It's not easy to decide where to live at Marrakech, but we made a good choice, here was the best accommodation during our trip at morocco. All people here are really friendly and helpful, showing us where worth to go or not and gave us many useful advices here.
Lovely room and public area, remember to spend some time IN the riad.
Tasty breakfast and all day supplied fruits.
Easy to find the location of riad from the nearest parking place.
Just a small advice, if one water for free per night would be better.

Beautiful guest house in traditional Moroccan style.Created and managed by real enthusiasts. Right in the heart of the Medina it still manages to have a large roof terrace and small plunge pool. Friendly and professional service. Nothing was too much and their boast that they run it like their own home felt true. Buy some measure the best and most unique hotel I've ever stayed in. I hadn't planned to return to Marrakech but am almost tempted to stay in this property again.

Amazing riad to stay while you're in Marrakech. Great location, walking distance to all the top tourist places. My room is very nicely decorated, clean and everything I need is there. Another plus point is it's always cool in the riad and everywhere smells good. Valentina has been super nice, always looks after me and asks if everything is good or if I need anything. The staff are also very nice and helpful (Hassan, Yassin, the driver Mohammed to name a few). My room includes breakfast and I always feel very full after a great breakfast with all kinds of drinks, bread, jams, eggs. I highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting Marrakech. Thank you for the pleasant stay!

A beautiful oasis of calm and kindness in Marrakes

From the moment we entered the Riyadh we felt welcomed. We had come off a long flight from California and we were exhausted, but Valentina greeted us with her beautiful smile and a glass of milnt tea lemonade which rejuvenated us for the check-in. We had an exceptional dinner the first night in a beautiful room and the staff was so gracious in honoring my need for no gluten, onions, or garlic. Each day at breakfast they served me gluten-free bread and pastry! The Riyadh is a beautiful respite from the hectic medina of Marrakesh. But it is right on the edge and an easy walk to all of the action. It has clearly been lovingly restored. I would highly recommend it.

The property is located very far from nearest car park so prepare to walk 7 minutes. We went there in June and you could hardly get any air in the communal areas. The swimming pool is tiny and on the roof. Its more of a bath tub rather than a pool. For the amenities the price is just too expensive. Avoid. There many better hotels for almost the same price.

Riad Le Clos des Arts is one of our favorite places of all time. The friendly owners and staff go above and beyond to help guests identify and arrange special experiences in Marrakech. Suggestions for dining, both on and off premises yielded marvelous dining opportunities. They helped us arrange musical evenings and hammam appointments, offered tips on shopping in the souks and recommended top-notch art encounters. They all have that rare knack of making visitors feel like new and valued friends. I cannot praise this place too highly.

This Riad is absolutely perfect and we had a wonderful time. The decor is fabulous and the staff are excellent. We felt really at home and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely fruit everywhere, amazing ginger and lemon tea on the roof terrace, and all of that was included. The staff were discreet but always helpful. They arranged 3 restaurant reservations for us, each one was fantastic and their advice about negotiating the madness of Marrakech was excellent. Highly recommend this oasis of calm. Wish we didn't have to leave!

The Clos de Arts Riad was absolutely fantastic, the room was amazing, staff superb and the location was great. They even did gluten-free bread for those with Coeliac disease. Couldn't recommend it more if going to stay in Marrakesh.

Truly Wonderful Riad

The people who own and manage the riad are extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. They truly look after you. The riad is very pretty. It has a wonderful rooftop with a little pool and lounge chairs. The main floor has very comfortable sitting rooms off the courtyards. The breakfasts were very good. The location is excellent. I highly recommend this riad. I was very happy there.
