This property served its purposes for a one night stay. There isn’t anyone at the reception so you have to knock on the door. They were kind enough to hold our luggage before check in. Amenities were lacking (toiletries, closet, clock, etc.). The beds were comfortable.

This is just a place to sleep and nothing else. They ask you for a cash deposito in case you break something. The main door is always open. The rooms smells like bar, the bathroom doors are broken. The TV doesn’t work. The beds are unstable.

I wouldn't go twice!

I booked a one night stay for a last minute business trip. It was tough to find a room due to the big soccer tournament in town. The front desk was on the 2nd floor. There's a sketchy elevator, but i didnt realize it until i carried my bags up 4 flights of stairs to get there. The front desk man (owner probably) was not very attentive. He blew off my request for help in getting a taxi. The room had no AC, but there was a window up high that was opened. There was a smell of cigarettes, as if someine was smoking in the next room. The walls were scuffed, there was a lot of dust on power cords and in the edges of the room. The toilet was hard to accewss around a tight foor. The shower door was broken, letting water spray out of the door. I'd add photos, bit theres a glitch in thr app and its not letting me do so.

The property is located in an area very close to attractions, many dining options and the train station. Down side is we were told they were only open till 10 pm and no options to get in later as the doors are locked (we had to leave last destination early to make sure we arrived in time to get in)
We stayed here at the beginning and end of our trip, first stay we had to pay cash for city tax no credit card could be taken, second stay we were able to pay with a credit card?
no option for coffee or tea.
over all is was a pleasant stay, staff was very nice and location is great

Our stay was wonderful. The gentleman at the desk was very kind and helpful. The location could not have been better. We could easily walk to the old city. The hotel was very close to Willy Brantz stop from the tram, so it was very easy to get from our hotel to the Frankfurt Au Main airport.

The only thing that could have been better, were our mattresses. They were not comfortable at all and could feel the springs inside.

Wasn't sure what to expect, but we didn't get our hopes up, at £26 per night we weren't expecting 5* accommodation or service. It was a bed for the night.
Couldn't get the TV working, despite changing it, colleague seemed set on having a working TV...
Shower was a nightmare, drastic fluctuation in temperature, but again, it did the job just about. Room was warm and Tidy.
Check in was simple enough and we even got in the room early.
Did not eat at the property, checked out at 11 and that was nice and simple too.

Internet access needs improving.

A budget hotel with good heating and comfortable beds. Internet access was poor or non existent, which was difficult for us. No storage for clothes other than a rack with hooks. It's in a good location of the train station and the center.

More of a hostel than a hotel

The hotel was easy to find, but check in was very slow and it appeared as they weren't prepared for me. They charged my card twice for my stay, but this was corrected. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I would describe it more of a private hostel room rather than a hotel room.

As the last option I had to be close to the Römer, it was OK, but this a one star hotel. However for a one night deal it could probably be ok. The one thing to recognize, you are from just a couple of blocks from beautiful mall, coffee places, 20 mins from train station, 10’from the Römer, and across the street the European Bank. Like I said, as the last resource or looking for something cheaper close to everything, this is for you.

The location is great if you are visiting the banking district. The room is basic. however, the rate is low so if you don't expect too much, the hotel is fine. The room is clean and the shower is good.

The rooms were very cold in late Sept but they would not turn the heat on until Oct 15. Thin tiles covered over cement floors held the cold and made it very cold. There were no rugs on the floor which were needed. The manager did not want to provide extra blanks or duvets, finally got them after fighting with him several times and him laughing at us for being cold. Other problems included: showers fell off the wall in the bathrooms; ragged torn and stained curtains; some power outlets did not work; the light switch for the room was hidden on another wall behind the TV; the glass part of the desk door was broken and the only way to open the door was to reach thru the broken glass; the garbage can lid flew off when we tried to open the can; one of the tables was broken and you could not set anything on it without the table top falling off; we could not get the TV to work properly and finally had to give up asking for that to be fixed; the TV was a 12 inch flat screen sitting on a desk literally 7+ meters away on the other side of the room, even if we had gotten it working we would not have been able to see it well.

Great location for exploring the city

We stayed here when in Frankfurt at the Christmas Market. Location was perfect. 8 minutes walk to the train station and about 5 from the market locations.

The room was clean but basic. Good shower. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. We were allowed to leave our luggage in our room till we left for the airport at 6pm in the evening.

The one negative about the hotel is the fact that there is a night club in the basement of the building which plays music to 4am. We were on the same floor as the hotel reception in room 204 so our room was close to the nightclub therefore we felt the beat of the music when trying to sleep.

I would use the hotel again because of its location but would ask for a room higher up.

This place cannot be called a hotel, more like an apartment building. There's no lobby or security, but only a part-time reception counter on the 2nd floor after 3pm to check people in. The rest of the night and day there is no reception/manager. Upon checkin you get 2 keys, one for your room, and one for the hotel's street entrance. But the street door is always unlocked and one night there was somebody sitting in the stairway asking for help. Its a creepy place. Location is good.

What do I think about my stay? I didn't get a stay, as we found no one on site when arrived, and were refused entrance when I called the number. I had called ahead to make sure we could check in late due to arriving on 1:30 train. Was told sure thing. Train delay at Poland border for 3+ hours got us into Frankfurt @ 5:30. Ten to six I called the number on the desk, was told we could not check in even though we had previous day's reservation.

Stay away from this sh#t hole.

Called around several places to find them filled, but Hotel Kautz had a room for three and took us in immediately. Gladly recommend that place.

Good location but for there's much left to desired. The hotel is close to the subway, center of the city, museums, allows convenient and quick subway transportation to Messe. The room we stayed in was spacious, but had poor decor, missed closets, and storage space, and the hotel staff failed to change towels and sheets on a reasonable rate. That made the feel of the hotel cheap (even though it was not cheap at all).

Large plain room for double bed and two singles in the city walking distance from train station. View of building across street.

Not a typical hotel as small reception desk is on 2nd floor and no restaurant, so we passed on the breakfast option. Mini refrigerator did not work but staff let us keep a bottle of water in their fridge. Reception stayed open until we returned for the night 11pm. Actual room key given, so must return it at check out.

No Front Desk, but overall it got the job done.

I waited for an hour to check in as there was no attendant. I finally borrowed a phone form someone and someone answered and told me a room number and that the key was inside. It worked out, but I waited an hour in the lobby and nothing.

A Terrible Experience

Yes, there was a hotel: But this was the only positive issue during my stay. The Hotel is run by a group of Asians, who had only broken German and English language skills. It took half an hour to check-in; WLAN worked for some hours but then it crashed - and the staff was not able to restart the system. The rooms offer some basics, like a bed or a seat, but there is not much more. The fridge did not offer any refreshments, it was empty and dirty. In general, the rooms were not really clean.

The room where breakfast was meant to be served was closed throughout our stay with no explanation
There was was no receptionist available throughout our stay - either in the morning when we checked-out at 8.45am or during the previous night - very dangerous!
Hotel promised free WiFi - it never worked.
Stayed for 1 night only - will NEVER stay again!

Kind of creepy....

The \"hotel\" is part of the floor of a building, but only a few rooms. The front door is always open (said would be locked but we came back late and wasnt). There is one man who runs the whole thing, he wasnt at the front desk when we arrived and took forever and a few tries of us calling \"hello?\" in the stairs for him to come down and we could check in. The wifi was fine in the \"lobby\" but spotty in our room-and our room was right next to it, door opened to the desk.
Chairs in room and lobby not comfortable. There was a guy from Berlin that came for business later at night and was creeped out by it. He couldnt get ahold of anyone to check in, but rooms were all unlocked so went into one by ours. About 1 1/2 hours later the front desk guy called him saying never checked in. He said he was there, was in a room, no one to check in with. (Was at a bar, noise in background)
We both joked if someone came in the middle of the night and heard screams, feel free to knock the door down.

立地は駅とレーマー広場などの観光地の間にあり、とても良いです。スタッフの方のお人柄は良さそうですが、到着した時は誰もいなくフロントらしき物もなく90センチ枠くらいの木枠の窓？があるだけの狭いホールで不安なままどうすることも出来ずにしーんとした中で20分ほど待ってました。2階がフロント？である事はエレベーターのボタンに黒マジックでらしき事は書いてありましたが消えかかってたのでわかりませんでした。泊まるだけで良いのなら良いかも知れませんが色々と不安だらけのホテルでした。

El hotel es sumamente sencillo, pero esta muy limpio, el personal es amable, las habitaciones son muy amplias, las camas están en buen estado y hay agua caliente. Definitivamente si tu plan es solamente tener un lugar donde descansar y ducharte esta es una muy buena opción por su conveniente localización respecto a los atractivos de la ciudad. En suma la relación costo beneficio es excelente.

nous nous attendions à une suite avec 2 chambres, puis nous avons reçu 2 chambres adjacentes avec une porte communicante. le service est plutot correcte, les chambres spacieuses mais les lits sont un peu trop mou à notre goût. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est super pour visiter à pieds le centre-ville de Francfort !

Der Gastgeber zeigte leider inakzeptables Verhalten. Unser Zimmer war um 15 Uhr, so wie in der Buchungsbestätigung beschrieben, nicht geputzt und beziehbar. Wir sollten unser Gepäck dann in einem benutzten, ebenfalls noch nicht geputzten Hotelzimmer stehen lassen, was uns aufgrund unserer Wertsachen nicht recht war, wir hatten allerdings keine Alternative, da wir zu unserem Termin mussten.
Der Besitzer entschuldigte sich nicht einmal, sondern betonte nur, wie teuer andere Unterkünfte in Frankfurt seien und dass wir im Prinzip keine Wahl hätten, außer zu bleiben. Als wir versuchten zu diskutieren, um unser Gepäck in ein verschließbares Zimmer stellen zu lassen, wurde er sehr laut und es fiel der Satz \"Sie sind storniert.\"

Als wir nachts zurückkamen, wollten wir unser Gepäck holen und hatten uns um eine andere Schlafmöglichkeit bekümmert, da wir ja eine mündliche Stornierung erhalten hatten. Bezahlt hatten wir das Zimmer zu dem Zeitpunkt nicht, da das Kartenlesegerät nicht funktionierte.
Als wir dem Besitzer dies mitteilten wurde er erneut sehr laut und ausfallend, schrie mitten in der Nacht direkt im Hotelflur vor den Zimmern der anderen schlafenden Gäste herum und wollte uns nicht gestatten, unser Gepäck zu holen. Da er sagte, er würde so oder so abrechnen, blieben wir im Hotel.
Das Zimmer war mäßig sauber, es lagen zwei tote Motten auf dem Boden.
Keine Empfehlung.

Der Angestellte an der Rezeption konnte kaum Deutsch, dafür relativ gutes Englisch. Es war einfach sehr seltsam, dass meine Reservation nie von meiner Kreditkarte abgebucht wurde. Wir mussten vor Ort in Cash bezahlen aufgrund eines \"Fehlers mit dem Onlinebanking\" oder sowas. Darüber wurden wir im Voraus auch nicht informiert. Dies erklärt wohl, warum ich nie eine Bestätigungsmail bekommen habe.

Gleiches war bei den zwei Gästen vor uns. Diese hatten nicht genug Cash dabei und wurden zuerst zum nächsten Bankomaten geschickt.

Ich habe zwar eine schriftliche Quittung erhalten, werde aber trotzdem regelmässig überprüfen, ob mir das Geld nicht abgezogen wurde.
