Immaculate hotel, all areas are recently renovated, great varied breakfast, freshly made omelets, and fab coffee, lovely large pool, just the right temperature, plenty of sun loungers, great friendly staff that nothing was too much trouble. Definitely want to go back.

Difficult to fault this hotel in terms of price, quality or location. It is an older hotel that has been fully renovated in recent years. Everything feels new. The gardens and grounds were amazing. Credit to the gardeners and caretakers.

Lovely hotel with a really nice pool area. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotless and breakfast plates cleared away quickly. 5 minutes walk to the beach and to the Marina. Have stayed in both Dom Pedro hotels in Vilamoura and would happily recommend both.

Great location near the beach and short walk to Marina. Hotel rooms need updating and our toilet seat was broken and room not cleaned one day. Shower gel in bathroom also not refilled. Pool lovely but staff friendly. Had e mailed hotel prior to arrival to request sparkling wine and cake as was our Pearl wedding anniversary and my husbands birthday during our stay. Was happy to pay however hotel advised would be complimentary. Checked with reception on the day and was told would arrive at 6pm which it didn’t and still not there when we returned later that night. Rang reception who apologised and said would arrange for next day and didn’t appear again. Very disappointing and don’t feel the hotel was worth the £209 per night we paid for B&B

Friendly staff but there is only so much they can do…
Facilities are quite run down and dated (bedroom mildew, coackroaches, very dated towels, antique bedsheets and pillows.. you will need your Claritin and your bug spray).

The location is good but the room rates are way too pricey for the hotel condition. The AC does not work well, the garden/pool area is skimpy with loud music, the cliente is… (ok I admit i am a snob), guests in the lobby area opened their suitcase right in the main lobby as we were checking in... a bit too relaxed..

The renovation scheduled for next year will go a very long way but so far you might as well spend a few hundred more Euros and experience real 5star service in the hotels nearby.

Everything was really nice about the hotel save the pool area which was rather uninviting. I didn’t like the way the beds were all lined up together and thought they should have been nicely spaced out around the large grassed area.

Also a few deluxe pod type beds would improve the area.

The room was nice and clean but there was no walk in shower, only an over the bath shower head.

The worse thing was that there was only one plug. No plugs next to the beds. We had our own adapter plug that contained two USB sockets but even that was not enough to charge phones, AirPods and backup charges so we were constantly changing them over.

The walk into the marina was less than two minutes.

There is a Spar supermarket opposite the hotel which is really cheap.

I would highly recommend Rare steakhouse in the marina. It is not cheap but well worth the price. Food fabulous and the staff are lovely.

The marina area is great with loads of nice restaurants.

We spent one day at Puro Beach next to the Tivoli hotel. 50 euros for a day bed for two people.

We also went on a 4 hour catamaran boat trip with Ocean Quest around the caves which was nice.

I recently stayed at Dom Pedro Vilamoura for 4 nights and could not recommend this hotel enough. 5 minutes on foot will get you to the nearest beach or to the Marina where there is a host of options for food & drink. A short 20/25 minute commute from Faro Airport. I would recommend downloading Uber or Bolt. An airport transfer using either app is approximately €20. I would also recommend signing up for the Don Pedro Loyalty Card in advance of the trip to get free access to the sauna, jacuzzi & indoor pool.

Traditional rooms, very clean and well looked after by maids. 3 main Escalators. Very quiet rooms and halls. Plenty of sun loungers and lounge inside and out with pretty garden and large pool- freezing at Easter time.
Lovely staff at reception, drivers and bar and restaurant staff. You have to ask for soya milk for coffee as it’s standard nespresso machine.
Fabulous restaurant with plenty of options for dinner and lunch. Nice breakfast. Popular golfers resort. 10 mins walk to beach and 20 to Marina. Very flat for walking. Reasonable prices and I recommend diving up to the club card for discounts. Spa lovely, no more than 7 people at a time which is really welcoming, sauna, jacuzzi and small indoor pool, gym small, but too warm as it’s all glass, so blinds would help.
Entertainment lacking on an end but more than plenty to do at the marina.

Great location near vilamoura marina. Easy walking along beach walkway to Quarteira. Situated on bus route for travel to Faro and Albufeira. Lovely staff, friendly and very efficient. Spotlessly clean in all areas. Buffet breakfast good choice of food. Evening full buffet was good value and good choice. Mini buffet was served some nights giving a buffet choice of starters and desserts and choice of 3 main dishes made to order. Room service and bar meal service was also available. Only small concern for me were the pillows ,they were very plumptious but too soft.

The hotel was close to the marina. The staff at the hotel are really helpful and professional and friendly.

Lots of good cafes nearby and the beach with great bars in walking distance. The bar at the hotel was good too.

The hotel will be going under a major refurbishment in October and the rooms are a little tired in decor but really clean.

Beds are comfortable and breakfasts are filled with variety. I would happily stay here again. Pedro, Tiego 1 and Tiego 2 and Viega all really great staff... thank you for a lovely stay and to the events manager for the yoga classes over Easter and the gift of the traditional delicious Portuguese Easter cake.

Lovely relaxing stay

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We really enjoyed a lovely relaxing break. From the begining nothing was a problem for the staff- they were very welcoming and friendly. We were told we should park in the hotel carpark. There was no charge. We were asked at the door if we needed any help with our bags (we didnt, but it ws nice to he asked) Check in was quick and easy. We asked about the spa and were advised to open a club card so there would be no charge to use the spa facilities- indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna.We did this quickly and easily.
Our room was on the 6th floor. It was spacious and light with a small balcony we could sit on. The views were amazing (apart from the large building site some way away- nothing the hotel could do about that) The room was very clean and comfortable. I read some reviews suggesting the rooms were dated. I can see why some might say that, but you can tell the furniture and bathroom fittings are of good quality, and we were very pleased to stay there. The bathroom was a good size, and had everything youd need. The toiletries provided were a nice touch. If we were to make one suggestion, it would be to update the bathroom - take out the bath with shower over the bath, and add a fitted walk in shower.
Breakfast was everything youd expect. Great choice, fresh tasting and hot where it should be.
The spa facilities were lovely, given that it was November and we couldnt use the outdoor pool.
The bar area and outdoor terrace were very nice.

We visited as a group of 20 on a Golf trip. Check in was ok , Information given by the check in staff was concise and informative. The Rooms are adequate and functional. The buffet breakfast was reasonable with a few different options in each category. The worst thing was the Golf shuttle from the hotel to the Courses. It's like a bun fight with no booking process. It would be much easier to allocate a booking with a ticket to ensure, you actually got the shuttle you were allocated. Also pace of play at the Courses needs to be monitored more closely. 5 hours a round with buggies is unacceptable.

The hotel has a great outdoor pool and is also very close (4 minutes walk) to the beach. The staff were also very friendly and would come and serve you straight away so you never had to wait for anything.
Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality, really set you up for the day.
Plenty of good restaurants near by. I would recommend Assado across the street.

We booked very late and as a result got a room upgrade, which was very nice, although sea view is stretching it a bit. Hotel is in a convenient position for the Marina and shops, a 5 minute walk to the beach though you get charged €7 each to use the loungers. You can walk along the promenade to Quarteira in about 15 mins. Pool area is relaxing, good size pool and plenty of space and loungers. Breakfast was ok, busy but you can eat inside or out.

The service on the reception was indifferent, like if was making a favor to my family to get a room in the hotel. The rooms are spacious & well equipped, our room had a very big double bed, I would say bigger than a Super King. We had a nice sea view from our balcony. Pool area is great with plenty of sunbeds. We went out of season (Valentine’s period) so there was clearly empty rooms, but we given a room with two single beds rather than a double bed which was very inconvenient for a couple.

Breakfast Buffet was good and there was a wide selection so no complaints.

We booked a massage which was absolutely amazing but the Spa facilities generally speaking were not that great. Small jacuzzi, small sauna and no steam room. We were told only 8 or 9 people in the Spa at a time but we counted 14 at one stage which indicated a lack of organisation.
