EV charger out of use

We love the paradors but one of my reasons for choosing this one was that it has two EV (Tesla Destination) chargers. Neither was working, and I believe the staff knew this. before I was directed to the garage It is €14 a night to park in the garage, which is expensive for this town. The hotel is in the centre and parking in the square can be difficult. Otherwise a nice-sized room and bathroom, although noise from other rooms could be heard.

Staff were very helpful . Dinner was good . Breakfast was poor — too many people had been in before us and the food wasn’t topped up . One sad fried egg remained of hot food . However, when we requested an omelette it came piping hot and was very good. Only one member of staff on duty who did her best .
The junior suites are in the tower up over 100 steps ( lift available ) which made me claustrophobic and we had to move rooms which the staff facilitated very well. The emergency exit from the tower was down all the steps . The door to the roof was locked .

Best place to stay in Vilabla

Beautiful well-kept hotel. The breakfast is pricey, but for a reason - so many tasty hot options, fresh fruit, vegetables, cold cuts, tortilla de patata, juices, tea, coffee...
Don't forget to check out the tower \"Torre\", it's an interesting medieval sight.

Parador!

Everything you associate with the name \"Parador\": a historic building, spacious rooms (large enough that I got lost in my room at night), opulent antique decorations. Our room was in the tower. This is cool, because I always wanted to spend a night in a medieval tower, but it also has some disadvantages: lots of stairs (there is an elevator but it does not go all the way), tiny windows, and bad wifi reception.

parador is in the centre of small city and isn't close to tourist attractions.
parking is very small and we looked for place nearby. staff didn't help us with luggage. Room was ok very clean, breakfast good.
reastorant located in a beautiful tower, we took dinner thear, was good.

For an extra 20 euros I stayed in the tower and it was outstanding!!! It was a massive suite with a sitting area and a desk area. The bathroom was enormous, with separate shower and bathtub. There was a Nespresso machine with complimentary coffee and tea. I have stayed at two other Parador hotels but this one has been the most impressive. I was warned that wifi would not work well in the tower due to the massive thickness of the walls, and it did not work in my suite but it worked fine on the first level of the tower. I also enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

Well worth a visit.

Beautiful hotel and restaurant. Friendly professional staff. Apart from church and hotel these is little of exception in the town. It is convenient for many surrounding attractions. Food in restaurant is very good and many dishes are local

Great location and helpful service

We were doing the camino del norte. And despite the fact that we had arrived at the hotel before noon, they were able to check us in early and greeted us with a smile. Very clean, quiet and conveniently located with a local historic tower--highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling in the area.

First time in a Parador

First experience in a Parador which was very good, large but quaint rooms. However the evening meal at the restaurant was grim despite being rated number 4 in the area and situated in tower. We complained at the time and our bill had the main courses discounted.
We were travelling around Galicia and need to add that there is very little to do and see in Vilalba.

Parador off the Tourist Trail

Vilalba may be on one of the lesser known branches of the Camino but there is no great evidence of foreign pilgrims. You feel you really are getting a taste of \"real\" Spain.

The Parador is quiet (we have been there several times) but beautifully done - the tower in particular is a great piece of work.

The rooms are very spacious - our had a three piece suite and a fireplace.

Lots of locals bars and restaurants all around - enjoy the free tapa with every drink!

Lovely Parador with a Medevil tower.

Arriving in the evening after a long day or touring. Hotel staff was very pleasant and room was lovely. Having not booked for the evening meal, we were sat behind the pillar as the restaurant Enxebre was fully booked. It is a simlar menu as the one in Santiago de compostela. We tried something different and was ok, but we enjoyed the meal at Satiago de Compostela better.

Lamentable et vraiment pas commerçants

Nous nous sommes trompés de dates lors de notre réservation (juin au lieu de juillet) et malgré une réclamation dans les quelques minutes qui ont suivi il n'a pas été possible de modifier les dates, malgré l'intervention d'Hotel.com, Nous avons donc perdu plus de 300€ et choisis de séjourner ailleurs en juillet.
