We had an overnight stay at Hotel Leo Station. We were part of a group but sadly we were the only couple to be allocated a room in The Annexe. Our room was ok but on second floor and a difficult climb with suitcases. However we had an excellent meal which made up for the disappointment of the room.

Reception not staffed until 1400 so worth noting, i was able to leave my bags at reception as staff from bistro assisted but they arent left securely.

Upon check in staff member very friendly and clear instructions provided on how to access the annex building and he accompanied me to demonstrate

Room i had was in this annex building next door, accessed using a code. No lift in building so consider this if any access needs.

Booked a single room but the room was large with 3 single beds, 1 single and 2 pushed together. Mattress was very soft but slept well.

There is a fridge in the room but it wasnt cold and light was flickering a lot. No other amenities in terms of water tea/coffee etc.

Bathroom was a good size with a connected shower head, tho no holder for this so you have to hold it, also no shower curtain.

The carpet in the building and in room has seen better days and the bathroom ceiling was peeling away.

Room was adjacent to the main road of town but noise was minimal.

Bastogne has limited accomodation options but the price was still reasonable considering this.

Close to food options and local transport links.

The main hotel building may be better than the annex but overall the property suited me as a base to explore bastogne.

Didnt eat in the bistro but the cafe adjoined to annex was very good with friendly staff

Room was very clean and spacious, hotel staff very helpful. If you are staying in the annexes, be aware that there is no elevator, and in our case, we had to climb 3 flights of stairs with luggage (and no assistance). Also, there is no shower, just a tub with a handheld sprayer.

I really wish it had been a better experience. The photos shown are nothing like what we found, and this should be stated on the website, since there are two very different buildings. We had to walk up four flights of stairs because there’s no elevator. The room I booked looked like it hadn’t been maintained in decades. My husband tried adjusting the temperature and the control came off the wall and the humidity smell was strong.
We went to reception to request an upgrade because the room was not what we expected. Thankfully, the receptionist helped us move to another building/room, much better than the first one. He even said this “always happens,” and many guests switch buildings for the same reason — meaning it’s a frequent issue. So be careful when booking.
As for service: I know English isn’t the main language in the area, but hotel staff should at least know basic English. We speak Spanish and English, and it would’ve helped a lot. The housekeeper assigned to our room was rude. I asked if we could enter since she had just finished cleaning and the floor was still wet. She said “no English” and started speaking French. I politely asked if she spoke English or Spanish, and she shrugged in a dismissive way, ignoring me. The only kind person was the lady in charge of breakfast. Breakfast was very good, and that’s why I’m giving 3 stars instead of 2. They need to improve their service and clearly explain the difference between the hotel and the annex.

The first room we stayed in was in an old building next to the main hotel and faced the main road. It was not double glazed and there was a lot of noise - the description of the room we booked said it was a \"sound-proofed room\". The decor of the room did not match the photo of the room we booked on the hotels.com website. There was a bedside lamp with no shade. One morning the hot water in the building was not working. The staff were helpful when this happened and moved us to a new room.

Location: Excellent—right on the main square with plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking available at the back of the hotel.
Room: We stayed in the main hotel (not the annex), which appears newly renovated. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a quirky bathroom window overlooking the main room.
Dining: Breakfast was quite expensive, so we opted to eat elsewhere, though the on-site restaurant is well reviewed and popular.
Notes: Great base for exploring Bastogne; would stay again for the location and comfort.

Absolutely charming restaurant that started out as rail cars. Displays of history without feeling touristy. My room was immaculate and nicely done: excellent shower pressure! I think the hotel was added to what was just the rail cars, maybe perhaps the war may have demolished what was standing, not sure. But I recommend it, and the War museum is minutes away by car.

Terrible nights sleep. The hotel (which is normally quiet) was extremely loud due to the Bastogne Music Marathon which coincided with our visit. Music was playing very loudly directly outside of the hotel until 3am.

The Hotel Leo is nice, but the Annex is old. There is no elevator. You have to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs. The room was small and was basically an attic. The breakfast buffet was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying at the Hotel Leo bit not the Annex.

I can’t praise Bastogne enough! The hotel was clean and modern. There’s a restaurant called “Nuts” across the way from the Leo. I highly recommend getting the trout there. It was delicious.
Also, if you’re in the area you must visit the Bastogne War Museum. Parking was easy behind the hotel. Bed was comfy!

Does not like disabled guests in public view

My disabled son was not allowed to sit in the public dining during breakfast buffet the first morning and the host moved him out of public view into a conference room alone with no lights on or table settings. The next day we were told not to sit in same room. They do not have accessible anything in the room they stick us in, and the last night we could not sleep due to noise from outside window I have video of. Rude to disabled that they did not want other guests to see in public the first day. Boudin employee was the lady on Tuesday morning that was offended by my son’s disability.

I stayed in the \"annex\". You check in at the main \"Wagon Leo\", which is 2 doors down. You get a key, key card and a code for the front door, and a code for the back door. The key opens the room door. The key card goes in a reader inside the room, and that activates the electricity in the room. No card, no electricity. Nice big room, but the stairs are narrow and not well lit. Bathroom is huge. The parking lot behind the building is gravel and has huge potholes. Not ideal if you're traveling by motorcycle, as I am. Entering the back door takes you through the main Wagon Leo area, then you go out the front, and down two doors to the annex. Overall, I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10.

Our room felt like a dungeon! It was a handicap room and we are both athletes!
The smell made me sneeze until I open up our door to the hall which was the foyer of the hotel! Yuck
So glad we were only staying 1 NIGHT!
The room definitely did not look like the pictures I was shown on the Internet!
So miss leading!!!!
My my spouse said we’re only here for one night and we never have to come back, thank goodness!

Helpful Hotel Staff. Quirky Means of Egress.

The hotel management allowed me to check-in early which helps. I also got assistance on bus and train schedules to La Glieze, a nearby village; and on to Ettelbruck. My room is located in a separate building, which was fine with me. However, the stairwell and hallway lighting is nil or very low. In addition, my room is not provided with an electronic card-key. Inserting a metal-plate key into the key-slot in darkness was a challenge. Besides this flaw, everything is acceptable to me including the bath-tub and the room cleaning service (which is excellent). I had dinner at the hotel (Wagon Leo). The pork-shank is excellent. I bought two breakfast buffets. The breakfast buffet is excellent as well. I particularly like the cakes and smoke salmon.

The hosts were very welcoming and we were able to check into our room early, which was most convenient. Our room was spacious and clean, and even though we were right on the street, our room was quiet. The beds were comfortable. Location was great....we were able to walk to all of the sights that we wanted to see. There were plenty of restaurants near the hotel. Last but definitely not least, the breakfast was AWESOME!! We traveled in Belgium for a month, and this was by far the best breakfast we had. Highly recommend this place.

The physical facility was nice. I was concerned about the slick shower flooring, though. I put towels down while showering to minimize the risk of slipping.

I prefer having 24/7 front desk staff and a hotel lobby. The front desk was supposed to be staffed from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., yet a person wasn't always available during that period. While there's a buzzer to call a staff person, no one responded on more than one occasion.

This hotel was right across from the main square which was great. easy check in. Parking. The beds were singles pushed together, which was pictured online so I can’t complain too much about that. The Leo hotel is outdated but the Leo station hotel side is updated and has a nice looking restaurant (we didn’t eat there). We were offered an upgrade to a Leo station hotel room for 10 additional euros per person but we did not take it. I’d recommend taking the upgrade if provided. Overall a good experience.

The Hotel Leo Station has several \"hotels\" in their block of buildings on the square. The staff are wonderful and of course you must eat (with reservations) at the main Leo restaurant!!!

I rented a \"large\" two bedroom unit and it had modern updates, great air conditioning, bedding, full bathroom and refrigerator.

Of course, you are on the village square with plenty of shopping, historical and dinning options. Free on-site, behind the restaurant parking.

The annex was not the nicest. You had to walk up four flights of stairs and the stairway was not very clean. The decorative blankets on the end of the beds were full of stains as was the carpet. It was also quite noisy in the area.

Hotel Leo was clean, just enough space and in the city center near lots of restaurants. The AC was cold,the only thing that i would not recommend is the breakfast. The food options were very basic for 18 euros.

The room was very large and clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. The bathroom was also very large. There was a mural above the bed which I found rather odd and a little inappropriate. The entrance was a little difficult to locate as it looks like the entrance to the restaurant. The restaurant was good but a little on the expensive side.

Recently renovated, the room was quite stylish and nice. There are plenty of cafes across the street and the location is convenient.

The parking area leaves a lot to be desired As it is just a gravel lot behind the building. I’d recommend parking in the public lot across the street especially if on a motorbike like I was.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone; from the arrival to the departure the hotel staff and room cleaning team were very helpful and attentive. The hotel is very well situated and surrender by shops, restaurants and bars. Couldn't try the hotel restaurant as it was closed for the Holidays but will return shortly.

I was placed in the annex with no lift elevator. It is tough for me to go up stairs, but I had to carry two 40 LB suitcases up 60 steps and four floors to our room. it took a while and lots of stops for catching my breath. Will not make another reservation at this hotel!

I absolutely loved this hotel right from check in. The young lady that checked us in was fabulous. I mentioned that my daughter had a gluten allergy and the next morning at breakfast the server came over and offered GF bread. That was a nice touch. The hotel is clean and modern. The staff are awesome. The hotel is located centrally on the strip and close to everything. This is the place to stay if you are in Bastogne.

Check in area is very small and only staffed with someone from the restaurant attached to the hotel. Had a long wait to get checked in and then was assigned to a different room. In the end the hotel got us switched to the right room. But we lost about an hour during the whole check in process. After that the hotel was as expected. Great location.

Not one bad thing to say about this hotel! If fact, in the two weeks we spent in France and Belgium it was by far our favorite! The hotel is modern, clean and well maintained! It also had one or the best breakfast buffets we encountered and the only one that included Champagne! We also enjoyed the hardwood floors that we personally witnessed the staff cleaning in other rooms as we checked out. When I return to Bastonge this will be the only hotel I will consider staying at!!! I have also recommended it to a friend who does business in that area. We look forward to returning at visiting Hotel Leo Station! Thank you!!! A++++

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, always willing to provide assistance, even staying late the night i checked in. They also printed my train tickets and assisted me with bus schedules to get me back to the train station upon my departure.

The hotel was conveniently located in the town square surrounded by everything within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable.

Only issue was the stairs in the annexe part of the hotel (Leo 2). There are six half flights & very narrow @ the bottom 2. It's a bit of a struggle with a suitcase.
This should be highlighted in the info for the hotel.
The main part of the hotel has a lift which I found in the morning when going for the excellent breakfast.
