We booked 4 rooms for a family vacation. Even though the website states there is no elevator, it does not portray an accurate picture of the stairs you will be hauling your luggage up. The stairs on their website show wide straight stairs. This is not the case! The stairs are very narrow and curve all the way up to the rooms. Extremely comber some and not adequate for anyone who has difficulty climbing stairs. I feel they should be a bit more forthcoming about the stair situation as we would not have booked here if we had know a head of time.

The hotel is located in the heart of the North End above Bricco, one of our favorite restaurants in the North End. Nate greeted us warmly after a long day of travel and made sure we had everything we needed. The location allows you to walk to all! The room was spacious and clean and loved the dual head walk in shower!

This was the first time my fiancée and I went to Boston! We decided to pick this place because of the location. We went to visit friends and it fit within range of everyone. It definitely didnt let us down! The actual location of the hotel/apartment is very cool/weird, reminded us of diagon alley lol. Cool spot for pics! Overall the room was good for the amount of time we stayed in Boston. If I am being critical some of the pieces of furniture (chair) could be updated. It was pretty warn and the comforter was a bit scratchy other than that it was great for the price. Right before you enter the hotel/apartment to get to your room there are two shops that are awesome! Highly recommend! The on downstairs makes pastries, pizzas, and fresh bread!!!! It does get busy and it’s only cash. Hope this helps! Enjoy Boston!

This is a fabulous place to stay while visiting Boston. It is in the heart of Little Italy with more restaurants than you can count, it's walkable to almost anywhere, near the Freedom Trail, and off the street far enough to feel quiet and calm. Great mini kitchen set up, excellent coffee (Keurig, but not with the usual substandard coffee, they have Lavazza pods!)
The room we had was two floors above the bakery for the restaurants attached to the company....best air freshener ever!
A bonus for staying at Bricco Suites is that there is always a table for you at the several restaurants in the Depasquale group. We took advantage of that on a booked out night and are we glad we did! Amazing food and service.
If we return to Boston we will book here again.

Check in at the restaurant was so smooth and quick and we were blessed to check in early. Others complain about noise but we didn’t hear any noise. It was very quiet. The stairs up to the top floor are no big deal and that was after running the Boston Marathon. The fact that we got immediate seating all weekend without waiting for all of their restaurants was awesome as the restaurants were all packed on Marathon weekend. We’ll be back next year if we can get a room.

This was an interesting place. It is located atop a beautiful restaurant and the Bricco name has a fantastic history of serving Boston great food for years. The “hotel” experience was a unique one to say the least. Because of its location, there is no “front desk” - instead we checked in with the restaurant and the very kind staff member lead us down the street, down an alley, through a beautiful restaurant to a stair case where our room was. It wasn’t a big deal, just unique.

Now, the room- it was spacious and clean, however the amenities were a little odd. We had a kitchenette with a stovetop but no pots/pans/plates, there was a fridge but it wasn’t on (unfortunately I couldn’t figure out how to get it plugged in or cooled down) and there was supposedly supposed to be a coffee maker but there wasn’t one. So it felt like kind of a waste of space and energy to have the kitchenette at all.
The bathroom had a huge shower and was fantastic! The bathroom has virtually no counter space so we ended up using the kitchenette as a counter for our bathroom stuff.
I have to mention that one night we left the key in the door accidentally. The area is safe and I wasn’t worried about anyone coming in but… the following morning when we went to leave we could not, we were locked in! I immediately knew it was because the key was in the door but the problem was there was no way to contact the “front desk” because there wasn’t one. I called the restaurants but it was early so we had to wait

Great two bedroom accommodation in North End. Right in the heart of the action and easy walking distance to everything including the Train system. Rooms were clean. Kitchen area was clean and well provisioned. The only downside was the noise from the restaurant below- quite noisy at times and the music was left on throughout the night. Other than that I would stay here again but request a room with less noise.

The apartment has everything you’ll need and is situated in the gorgeous North End with so many cafes, pubs and restaurants in walking distance. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this place to anyone!

Location is perfect for any tourist ready to see the sites! It is a short walk to many freedom trail sites. We appreciated having a coffee shop right across the street for breakfast. The sandwhich shop next door was also nice to have. I can't say enough about the location. The rooms and beds were comfortable. We stayed in the 2 bedroom so we also had a nice sized living room with a restaurant style dining table. Housekeeping left us complimentary water bottles every day. Just keep in mind their notice that this building does not have elevators and you may end up going 3-4 flights of stairs to your room with your luggage. The stairway is difficult for the elderly and probably if you have small children and a stoller. Great location! But keep in mind your window might face a busy street which can be noisy for some. I didnt mind even the 1am garagabe trucks but some might. A kitchenette is provided along with a microwave and small frig for leftovers. Walking distance to TD garden! Walking distance to the aquarium. Short Lyft ride to Boston Common. Check in and check out process was easy.

Wow! What a wonderful place to stay! My husband and our fiends (another couple) stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. It was so spacious and clean for the 4 of us! Just be prepared for no elevator, thankfully our suite was 2 floors up so not a bad climb. The restaurant staff was super helpful in helping with the bags up the stairs. It is also so nice that we had water bottles delivered daily and left outside the door.

The only complaint I have is that our suite was never cleaned even though we did not put out the do not disturb sign on the door. With 4 people, we had filled up the trash and used 2 other paper bags for trash that we left in the kitchen.

So as a whole we were 100% happy with our stay. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the location was perfect for what we wanted. Something’s you should know before you book, there is no elevator so depending on the floor you are on there will be stairs to climb, not a huge issue for my wife and but it could be for someone with limited mobility or with health issues.
As other reviews state you are over a busy restaurant on a very busy street with lots of night life on the weekends. We were on the top floor so it wasn’t an issue, but if you like to be in bed early and are sensitive to noise this might be an issue. Again, not an issue for my wife and I.
The fire place was a great touch and was used while we were there. Check in was super easy, and one of the restaurant managers insisted on carrying my wife’s suitcase up the 3 flights of stairs, which I found very admirable. He gave us a tour of the room and a quick rundown of the neighbor hood. The one thing we saw that could be improved on was the water pressure in the shower and the amount of hot water. Now it is an old building so these 2 things could just be old building issues.
They do offer luggage storage if you get in early of have a later flight out. All in all we were extremely happy with our stay and would stay again if/when we come back to Boston.

Bricco Suites are located in a great part of Boston, the historic North End (italian) district. It was great to stay in this area and we really enjoyed that.
Checkin is via the restaurant 'Bricco', the suites are down an adjacent alleyway where there is also a deli and sandwich shop (apparently renowned, however we did not partake).
There is an abundance of restaurants (mostly Italian), delis, pastry shops, coffee shops in the area - it is fantasic!
Our suite (301) was spacious, although furniture was large which crowded the space. We were on the ground floor which was great in that we did not have to lug bags up the stairs, however not so great in that we were right next to the front entry door and walls are paper thin so we heard every coming and going. There was a kitchen prep area across the hall which was also noisy through the day.
We could hear other guests moving around upstairs and talking in the corridor. We did not enjoy this aspect of our stay.
Room was not serviced during our stay (4 nights) aside from water bottles being left outside our door daily.

We would recommend this area of Boston, but would probably chose a different hotel for a repeat visit.

I did not like the fact that there was no elevator. My husband is 82 and I am 72 and we were put on the third floor with three flights of stairs to go up. The steps were narrow, wooden and the staircase was curved all the way up to the third floor. I don't think there was any mention on the website that there was no elevator. Also, the simple fact that there was no hotel lobby was very inconvenient for us as we had a 6:00 a.m. plane to catch and they don't open the doors until 9:00 a.m. in the bar restaurant area. Thank goodness we had our bags brought down during the daytime and our nephew put them in his car overnight until he could pick us up the next morning at 3:30 to take us to the airport. Aside from that horrible inconvenience of no elevator, the actual suite was beautiful.

Pros - in the heart of the action in the North End. Spacious 2 bedroom suite was more than enough for our needs (3 night stay). Double shower heads were powerful and toiletries were good. Unique location we chose to do something different from a typical hotel. Super walkable to rest of Boston.

Cons - windows let in a TON of noise (we faced Hanover) from crowds, to parties, to trucks. We are not light sleepers either. Seems new windows would go a long way. Also - sound carries from room to adjoining rooms so keep that in mind. Would have had liked some advance notice re parking situation and recommendation re where to park.

Finally - our room was on third floor with a narrow staircase to bring up our suitcases - keep that in mind if you have mobility issues.

I could not fault this hotel for location. It is ideal to see all the sights of Boston. The room has everything you could need for your stay and is spacious and comfortable. However, it is not quiet, suite 301 where we stayed is right next to the entrance door and opposite the area where the restaurant makes the pasta. At 6 am every morning the staff arrived and the noise started. If you are an early riser then it is not a problem, but if you want to relax and lie in forget it.
Great hotel suite and location recommended for the early rising sightseers. Local restaurants and cafes are fantastic.

100% 5 stars -- except one thing. Great location, STELLAR STAFF, beautiful space with everything you need. Lots of stairs so pack light! Great bedding and towels, kichenette,waters and coffee provided (WITH ACTUAL HALF-n-HALF!) Great shower (dual!) with lovely hot water and heat lamp. Little private outdoor space to boot! We felt like we were in Italy!
Only negative was street noise and noise through walls. Trucks early at the crack of dawn ,backing, beeping etc. Folks partying along the street etc. We forgot our white noise machine and our earplugs didn't cover it. But that is the 'price' for a GREAT location near EVERYTHING- we even walked to Fenway!! 100% would stay there again and recommend to others!

From the moment we checked in we knew it would be a great stay. Marcel stayed extra late to hand us our keys because our flight was delayed. After that, we always felt welcomed and our room was serviced (with bottled water) every day. The area was absolutely perfect and we ate dinner there pretty much every night. It’s great distance to multiple T stations and we were able to walk downtown easily. Great option!

The property is located next to Hanover Street, which changes from a quiet street with coffee and pastry shops in the morning to a lively nightlife scene in the evening. Employees were amazing and very friendly. Vinnie was fantastic, a credit to the organization, knowledgeable and accommodating. Rooms were spotless, fridge had waters and a cork screw for wine. Bar and restaurant were award winning and lived up to it. The property is part of several other restaurants in the immediate area where you enjoy VIP reservation perks. Location is minutes and a short walk to the subway which can get you to and from the airport and other POI in Boston. Parking would be a problem but I didn’t drive, didn’t have to.

Great place in heart of North End (Italian quarter). Walking distance to all of Boston main areas. Great vibes and people. Our room at the back was really nice and large. Just a bit noisy with big air con units outside windows but to be honest we were so tired from walking the beautiful city and enjoying the hospitality we weren't that bothered by it! Would definitely recommend.

This property could not have been in a better area of town, very walkable to top attractions (or public transport). Staff were super friendly. Very clean and cozy. We did have an issue with our A/C unit not seeming to keep up (our room was 80 degrees on the last day) and there are no elevators, so be prepared for a steep climb on the stairs, but overall, loved the place and would happily stay again!

The host was superb! There was an AC issue when we arrived and he had maintenance staff on site immediately. Unfortunately, the room was 94F and took until the next morning to cool so it was an uncomfortable night. We wished there was a full-length mirror then found signs of one that was broken and removed inside the closet door. All fixtures were loose - shower door handle, door knobs, sink,sink handles…. The space was really nice but would benefit from curtains in the large living room as the hot sun made the room challenging to stay in. The room was very clean, nicely designed, and in a super cool spot. One AMAZING perk was that the restaursnts that own the property have a guaranteed reservation for tenants. We would absolutely stay there again but they could really benefit from a quick maintenance once-over.

Beds were comfortable, entrance is tucked away from the street, quiet and private. Transport options are a few blocks to the south, not a long walk at all.

Our fridge was not working while we were in the room, which was not a probably for us so we did not ask for a fix. I’m certain they would have rectified the problem if we had brought it to their attention. AC was very effective.

We didn't have a car because parking is impossible in the area but public transportation is a short walk away. Our lock was broken during our trip but we had no issues. Would stay again.

Awesome location, room, staff...but...

I SO want to give this property 5 stars...but I can't. The room, the condition, the staff, the location were all outstanding, however...we could not get the door to lock, and since they are not a full-on hotel, they do not have a maintenance staff, and are at the mercy of the local locksmiths. They were fully booked, so changing rooms was not an option, and my first night I got no sleep at all. The second night we got the door to latch, so a little better, but when we returned from sightseeing, the door just pushed right open without turning the handle...it was fixed on the 3rd day. Our compensation for this inconvenience was a gift card that did not cover 4 cocktails in their bar. This issue made our stay less enjoyable. Also, there is no elevator, but they were great about holding our bags before check in, and taking them to/from the room. Would I stay here again? Yes, but I'm gonna check the door!

Location is excellent in the North End/Little Italy. Walking to all the major sites was easy. Longest distance took about 40mins to famous Fenway Park. Stairs up to the rooms could be an issue if mobility problems. Air conditioning really good, some might find it noisy but fine for us. Would definitely recommend to others. A North End Delight

Our stay in the Bricco Suites was wonderful! While parking was a bit challenging during check-in, the staff member assisting us was incredibly attentive—quickly helping us get settled and even carrying our luggage up two flights of narrow spiral stairs. The suite itself was perfect: clean, well-equipped, and just a short walk from the heart of the North End. Daily water delivery was a nice touch, and housekeeping was excellent. Great service and a great location made for a very enjoyable stay.

Bricco suites is the perfect location

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights and the location was perfect! Walking distance to so many restaurants, the train, parks and things to do! We did not have a car and walked everywhere.

The only negative for this property is that our bedroom was directly above the Mare restaurant and it was very, very loud until 10 pm, and 11 pm on the weekend. If you don't plan to be in bed at that time, it won't bother you, but it was as if all the windows were open and music was blaring in.

The Bricco Suites is in a perfect location in the North End. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The sandwiches in the salumeria and bread/pastries in the bakery were so good. Love the alley and courtyard

My family and I loved that we could walk to so many great attractions; the Aquarium, Boston Tea Party museum and The Freedim Trail. We also loved the many restaurants around the suites, but our favorite meal was at Bricco!!! It was amazing! We loved the food, atmosphere and our waiter

The location was fantastic! The biggest drawback was that you had to walk through a restaurant to get to the stairs to the rooms, which was really odd. It was also very noisy at night due to the restaurant down below.

The accommodation location was in the middle of the good part of town. Most things were in easy walking distance. The room was a good size and the shower was good as well.

Be aware there is no elevator and the stairs are very narrow. The check in is in the restaurant at street level which can be challenging.

This property is wonderful. The only negative was they had no elevator, but we were on the second floor out of 4. It’s located in Boston’s North End and had many Italian restaurants. We would stay there again. If you do stay, check out the Bricco Paneteria located in the alley next to the restaurant/hotel. Great sandwiches and pasta. It also housed a small Italian grocery of sorts. Delish and run by a multi generational Italian family.

The location in the north end was fantastic and we walked everywhere. It’s convenient to all the tourist spots and great eateries. The two bedroom set up was great and the table and chairs plus kitchen area was super helpful. There was no couch or other place to sit which would have been nice since we were traveling with a 15 month old. The other big surprise was the amount of stairs to get to the room. Carrying a stroller up and down many flights of steps multiple times a day was unexpected. Thankfully the lady who checked us in took our bags up to the room for us. Overall it was a nice place just be prepared to climb stairs.

No elevator but great location

Was here for a girls trip and wanted to be on the North End which we loved the location BUT our room was 3 flights upstairs and they don’t have any elevators! We had heavy luggage so this was a real issue. The rooms were clean but noisy at night. I can’t say we would stay there again because of the elevator situation. Carrying down a 55 lb suitcase 3 flights of stairs was excruciating! But if that doesn’t bother you the location is great.

Heart of the North End

The location of Bricco Suites is perfect. In the North End of Boston among restaurants, historical sites, parks, etc. It was like having our own little apartment in the North End.
We would definitely stay here if we ever return to Boston. Vinny was super accommodating when our flights got cancelled. We stayed on the top floor so there were quite a few stairs which we do not mind!
