Beautiful views and helpful staff

Helpful staff, great breakfast, and beautiful views. They were particularly helpful in recommending local wineries and restaurants even on a moment’s notice. There were a few small things that could be improved—the fridge in our room never worked, for example, but we didn’t need it. I’d happily return in the future.

The place is nice with lovely views. The room was adeguate and well appointed.

The staff and service were superb. Extremely friendly and professional. Extremely kind and helpful.

Highly recommended

Very nice hotel. Great view and the facilities were good and so was the restaurant. Only minor downside was the lack information from the hotel, such as restaurant being closed. They were however sweet and very helpful when this happened, so it was only a minor problem.

Nice hotel, good location, friendly staff

Enjoyed our stay with two remarks: No AC - it had been turned off for the season, even though it was quite warm. The WiFi was very difficult to access and sometimes not at all. The restaurant next door is excellent and the breakfast buffet is very good.

Top Notch Hotel

Hotel is very nice and modern. The view alone is enough to stay at the hotel. Really the view is a 10 from the top floor rooms which we were lucky enough to stay in. You are close to Alba (10 minutes ) and close to many other great little towns. Everything was great and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Affordable luxury

Compelling location near all great vineyards, wonderful modern design, very comfortable room and bed with private terrace overlooking nearby Montelupo Albese. Excellent breakfast in lobby or outside terrace and the restaurant next door serves outstanding food for a reasonable price. The superior staff is family friendly yet very professional. Can't wait to book another three day stay next year.

Super Food, Service and View

The staff at the Ca'del Lupo were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Drinks for starters came with excellent small appetizers, and were generous. The food was local, and excellent. The view is really nice. I would say the hotel is interested in repeat visits and treated its guests accordingly. We left early (no fault of hotel) and they immediately organized a refund for the remaining night on their own initiative.

Excellent service and excellent food

The service was from A-Z perfect. The hotel staff made us very welcome. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The apero and snacks generous and inexpensive.

The view from the rooms across Piemont to the alps is super.

What particularly impressed us, was the voluntary refund on the hotels initiative when we left a day early due to weather, which we were not entitled to according to contract.

I can sum it up that this hotels cares about its reputation and works effectively and hard to get its guests to come back.

This great, family run hotel took service to a new level - allowing a very late checkout. The homemade specialties for breakfast were a treat to behold and better to taste. Strongly recommend this lovely modern hotel.

What a view!

Hotel with such a view on Piedmont mountains and valleys. Peaceful! Price very reasonable. For breakfast you have a very nice buffet for everybody's tastes. The only negative point is how to find Via Ballerina because there about 3 vias Ballerina that interconnects so we turned in circle for about 15 minutes before finding the hotel.

Modern Hotel with Piemontese Charm

Very nice hotel with great views all over the Piemont hills. Outdoor pool area looks charming, unfortunately it was too cold already in the middle of October.
For Italian level, very rich breakfast (very nice homemade cakes) and really nice restaurant with very reasonable prices, also on the wine list (!).
Good recommendations for trips and further restaurants in the area, in english and italian. Really to recommend, if you don't mind that the hotel room (which are spacy, clean, modern etc.) don't have a real door to close for the bathroom / toilet.

Set the standard for our trip to Italy

Staff at both the hotel and adjoining restaurant were outstanding. Wonderful breakfast at the hotel every day. This hotel is meant to be the base of your trip but not a destination resort. You will want to explore the local villages and the town of Alba. This was our 1st stop for 3 nights, before moving on to the coast. It was a wonderful way to ease into our vacation.

Hotel in the Northern Italian mountains

The hotel was imaculate. We were given a warm welcome by the reception staff who spoke execellent English. The room was exactly as we expected with a private terrace which overlooked the newly installed swimming pool. The room had a bathroom, a dressing area and a bedroom area. We booked an extra bed for our 15 year old daughter, which was a proper bed, not a put-u-up.
The swimming pool had plenty of brand new sun loungers and reclining chairs. Pool towels were provided by the hotel free of charge.
The restaurant next door is attached to the hotel. The staff from the hotel work there too. They are happy to translate the menu for you. The price for a meal for 3 people, with wine, reflected the fact that it is a 4 star hotel and restaurant (108 Euros) but was excellent. It is worth reserving a table, as we thought it was not worth it on a Tuesday night, but this was not the case, it gets very busy. The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays.
The breakfast was amazing and puts English hotels to shame.
There was a great little pizza place in the nearby hilltop village of Rodello.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

great location, great location, but thin walls

The hotel is beautiful, as is the location. Every room has an unobstructed view over the hills and the mountains in the distance. The service is very friendly and genuine. The breakfast is also great. The only negative thing about the hotel is that the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbours quite well. If there is no noise, and most of the time there wasn't, it's not a problem. The village is small and not touristy. The perfect location for a vacation in the Langhe region of the Piedmont. To recommend is also the very good restaurant in the village centre, Trattoria in Piazza. The food is excellent, the ambience and service as well - and it is extremely good value!

Incredible Stay in the Wine Country

Wow! It is a surprise to find this modernistic, new hotel in the Piedmont countryside. Rooms are very comfortable, there's a balcony/deck with table and chairs where you can sit out and enjoy the panoramic views of the wine countryside and the two hilltop towns of Montelupo Albese and Ronello. The staff is fabulous--they arranged two days of wine tours for us within a couple of hours of our arrival. The free breakfast is one of the best we have ever had and the restaurant next door is superb. The only thing that could be better is the bed could be a little softer. Regardless, we plan to stay there again on our return!

Odotettiin hyvää majoittumista, mutta saatiin erinomainen kokemus kaikenkaikkiaan. Paikalle saapumisesta lähtien meitä kuunneltiin, huomioitiin ja sängystä lähtien kaikki oli enemmän kuin 5 tähteä. Ruoka todella ensiluokkaista ja meille järjestettiin oma kuski vaikka ei ollut turistikausi.

A estadia foi fantástica o hotel tem uma vista maravilhosa!
Tudo muito limpo e organizado!
O café da manhã estava delicioso e nos surpreendeu com à variedade de pratos!
À noite fomos jantar num restaurante em MonteLupo da à proprietária se chama Emanuela o jantar estava impecável posso dizer que lá merecia uma estrela Michelin.

Smukt ophold i Piemonte.

Fantastisk beliggenhed med den smukkeste udsigt så langt øjet rækker. Værelset hat alt hvad du behøver - specielt god plads til tøjet. Dejlig morgenmad og mulighed for at gå en god frokost på tagterrassen. Poolen var indbydende og ren. Restaurant v/ hotellet serverer lækker mad/vin til fornuftige priser. Vi manglede intet. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen.

Schitterend uitzicht !

Hotel heeft een schitterende ligging met uitzicht op Serralunga d'Alba, Rodello en de heuvels van de Langhe Basse.
De kamers zijn ruim en hebben alle comfort. Het ontbijt was heerlijk.
Het avondmenu in het restaurant was heel lekker en met uiteraard met de lokale wijnen erbij heel prijselijk.

Kortom, een plek om terug te keren !

Beautiful views, pool most times full of kids

The hotel is very nicely situated providing amazing views to the valleys and up to Alba. Restaurant has very good food and large choiche of wines from the region. Breakfast was good as it must be with this high price level. The place is in many aspects nice and staff friendly.

Everyone who comes here during the summer must however be prepared for the fact that this is not a adult-only winelover hotel. The pool had all days 10 kids at the same time aged 6 months to 9 yrs with understandable noises not only from the kids but also from the parents. Be prepared for sounds of crying kids when sitting at the balcony. Just for consideration for everyone who comes here.

Endroit exceptionnel avec une vue magique. Chambre confortable avec terrasse (toutes les chambres !). Superbe terrasse pour le bar et le petit dejeuner excellent. Accueil super et privé.
La piscine est superbe et suffisamment grande pour nager (rare).
Le restaurant est dans un cadre idyllique mais les prix s'en ressentent et la qualité a (Un peu) baissé.

UN ENDROIT IDEAL DANS UNE TRES BELLE REGION

Excellent , nous nous sommes rendus pour la seconde fois a Ca del Lupo et n'avons qu'une seule envie : y retourner. L'hotel dispose de chambres donnant toutes sur une terasse avec vue sur les Alpes et les vignes de Barolo.Le petit dejeuner est tres riches et de tres bonne qualité. N'oubliez pas de diner au restaurant qui dispose d'une carte de vins de la region tres fournie et tres bon marché. De plus le service est excellent et tres amical.

perfekt Piemonte i februar

Perfekt lite, moderne hotell i utkanten av landsbyen Montelupo d' Albese. Rommet var stort og godt innreidd, med gåinni-garderobe, godt bad, wc/bidet. I kjøleskapet låg flaskevatn som hotellet spanderte og 'luksusartiklane' på badet, tøfler inklusive, var av skikkeleg kvalitet. Rommet hadde berre eit lite minus; harde sengar. Men heilheitsinntrykket og ikkje minst utsikta frå balkongen utanfor, mot alpane i det fjerne bortanfor snødekte vinmarker, vog opp for sengane. Dessutan serverte hotellet den beste hotellfrokosten vi nokon gong har opplevd, og staben var både engelsktalande, venleg og velinformert. Vegg i vegg med hotellet ligg restaurant med same navn, driven av hotelleigarens bror. Nydeleg, rimeleg mat og utruleg god vin. Du treng ikkje velje dyr barolo for å få nydeleg vin her.
I resepsjonen heng plakettar frå alle dei fem åra hotellet har eksistert, Italias beste ditt og datt, høgst fortent. Vi sa på gjensyn då vi drog, for dette hotellet vil vi definitivt tilbake til.

Ficamos tres dias no hotel e saimos muito satisfeitos com a localizacao, atendimento e conforto oferecidos. Os atendentes da recepcao reservaram os restaurantes e vinicolas da regiao e ainda nos forneceram diversas dicas valiosas. A vista e linda!!!! Porem, nao deixe de ter um GPS para se locomover de carro pela regiao!

Design sobre et intégré dans un environnement splendide

L’hôtel bénéficie d'une situation privilégiée au sommet d'une colline avec une vue superbe sur les villages et les collines environnantes (par beau temps, on voit toute la chaine des Alpes!..). Tout en pierres et bois, très moderne avec une architecture originale qui épouse le relief, de belles chambres vastes, très confortables avec terrasse et vue...super! Belle piscine en contrebas. Le restaurant est de très bonne tenue également, entièrement vitré avec une cuisine de spécialités locales et des prestations raffinées, excellent vraiment. Très bon rapport qualité / prix.Et, cerise sur le gâteau, un service top et un accueil adorable! (non non je ne suis pas actionnaire de l'hôtel!!...). Nous y retournerons, c'est sûr...

Emplacement et vue extraordinaires au milieu des vignes et au pied des Alpes. Accueil excellent et familiale. Equipement des chambres un peu rudimentaire. Restaurant excellent (y compris carte des vins). Petit dejeuner excellent.
Services manque un peu d'organisation.
Un lieu a recommander. J'y retournerai avec plaisir.
