This is my third time at CDLP. I would have given ot 5 stars but for the following - we were barely unable to use the jacuzzi as it was broken. CDLP attempted to fix it but without success. The concierce was very good but not great. Perhaps they were not as experienced as the concierge we had in our previous trip. The bartender in the lobby seemed to be bothered every time we asked for a drink. The Cava dinner experience is terrible. Having said that, the servers at all the restaurants were outstanding. Playa is a beautiful spot the place is quiet and relaxing, Spa is wonderful. Beach was not very good due to weeds in the water. Restaurants are very sophisticated, not much to do at night but Arte offers some great venues like Deseo it’s amazing. The combination between playa and Arte works great.

I stayed here in May of 2023. This is best hotel i have ever stayed at. There is no comparison. If you are thinking of coming here, i suggest to just take the plunge and book it.They have the best service and the food was great. This best part is you can go their next door hotel and do activities also. This hotel is all luxury and they treat you like a star.

With only 63 suites on property, it is a very quiet, peaceful, intimate experience with more than enough staff to meet your every need. The cuisine is prepared by chefs and are authentic latin american dishes. The architectural details are incredible.

If you are looking for lots of action, crowds and excitement, this is not the right place for you. BUT, if you want to be catered to, have access to everything without having to wait, feel like it's just you at the resort, La Casa de la Playa is the place to go. We have not been to a better vacation experience than this one. We will definitely be back next year.

This resort was an absolute dream! I stayed here with my boyfriend for my birthday and it was amazing. Everything about this resort was stunning. When you enter the lobby, you are met with gorgeous views of its iconic infinity pool outstretching into the clear blue waters of the ocean. The room we had oceanfront views that were so well-worth the price. During our whole stay, we were pampered. Our butlers, Abraham and Celeste, were very helpful and ensured our stay was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had at a hotel. In addition to the spectacular views and amazing service, the food was a fantastic. Every day, we got to explore different types of Mexican cuisine. The drinks were also very good. It felt like I was in a top restaurant. Because my trip here was a quick one, my boyfriend and I will definitely come back in the future.

We've travelled to all 7 continents (yes including Antarctica) and have stayed in the finest of hotels, this is hands down our favorite hotel. The service is impeccable, the rooms are unbelievable, the pool areas and views are amazing, and food is top quality. We honestly can find no fault with this establishment whatsoever. It was just as perfect on our 2nd trip. We look forward to returning every few months.

I had THREE rooms booked, so I feel it's only fair to provide a follow-up to my August review—this one is even more necessary due to the deceitful practices of the so-called \"Mexico Destination Club.\" DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. I originally purchased a voucher at Arte and was assured by the CDLP manager that after sitting through their dreadful \"Destination Misinformation Talk\" at CDLP, I wouldn’t have to endure it again for future bookings at Arte or Mexico. Surprise, surprise! The MEXICO DISHONEST DESTINATION CLUB \"MDDC\" didn't honor their word. Not only did I go through that miserable presentation for nothing, but now there’s also conveniently NO availability for the designated rooms for an entire year, conveniently until my voucher expires. SHAMEFUL! CDLP amazing resort reputation is being tainted by such practices. Kick the MDDC out!

Never again. It was my 2nd time staying at La Casa de La Playa, but we regret coming back. The terrace in each hotel room is small and stacked with fragile decorations. When I was getting out of the pool, I slipped and accidentally touched the edge of a small decoration piece, which then fell apart. My finger also got a cut. The hotel staff asked us what happened to the piece with a tough attitude, and then charged us $1414.35 USD, which seems much more than how much it actually costs. My partner and I were very upset.

This was our second stay at CDLP. While they have removed some appreciated perks and special experiences, the butler service is even better than before. Kiyoshi and Guillermo were phenomenal as well as the bartenders and friendly faces at the restaurant. Having said that, BEWARE OF MEXICO DESTINATION CLUB. Even at CDLP they are deceptive beginning with salesperson all the way to the manager.

We spent 4 days at Casa de la Playa on March 2024, celebrating our honey moon. The hotel is impecable and the service is royalty-quality. No kids, only adults, very tranquil, beatiful place. Alberto and Celeste were our hosts and they assisted us in everything and made our wishes came true.
All the drivers, oh my God!, gentlemen behind the wheel. The food, the scene, the mood, the pool, the room....everything is top of the line. All the people...just lovely. We cant wait to go back....

The best and most beautiful property with limited occupants. Excellent and high quality dinning options. We were able to enjoy the heated infinity pool and rooftop pool to ourselves. The beach was shallow and great for swimming and snorkeling. Around $1800 per night is fair if you will take advantage of eating options and pools/beach.

This is the first time we have stayed at a luxury hotel and left a negative review like the following. If the hotel's managers read reviews, please improve your staff training. Especially the so-called special butler service.

First of all, when we checked in, we didn't feel that the butler was very active in serving us. When we checked in, there were two duplicate $1,000 deposits. I asked butler for the reason. The butler didn't explain clearly. But when I was changing cash at the front desk at night, I asked the front desk. They made a mistake and canceled one of the transactions.

Secondly, when we checked in, butler did not inform us that we need to wear the bracelet at all times. So we thought it was just a room key. When we went to the park, we couldn't do anything. We only have two options, go back to the room to get it or ask the supervisor for instructions, but it may take a long time. So we could only go back to the room.

The third point is about butler services. If a dedicated butler can only provide such services. Then it is better to cancel this service. In other words, all the driver attitudes in this hotel are more suitable for being a butler.

When we got back to the room today, I noticed a lot of colorful stuff stuck to my dog's blanket. These things are very sticky. It turned out that the colorful decoration in front of the mirror fell off. The new butler we replaced today sent us for dry cleaning.

It is a very nice resort. However, the service does not match the atmosphere. We had an ordeal trying to check in over the deposit taken. There was also construction going on each morning beginning at 7AM. For the price a 4 on the 1-10 scale at best.

Hotel was very quite and relaxing, the butter Kiyoshi was great !!!!!! and guest service treated us very well, me and my wife had headaches come to find out that there was mold running down from the ceiling when the ac was running At night, we should the staff and got the manger, the problem began because she stated The black mold was when the door opened,, and I stated to her that we did not have the door open while we were sleep, so yes I understand humidity will get on the mirrors but that’s mold on the ceilings, the entire time I was expressing that it ran down on us while we were sleep the manger said it’s the humidity,,, then she stated that I book the wrong room on Friday so I owed extra money, And she gave us a free upgrade when we came ,, said I no longer what to speak to you because your are lying,,later on she agreed she did not give a up grade,,,,, we were sitting out side waiting for the key to the new room when the bell guy came and said I’m here to get your luggage so we walked out the door to have to go up stars to wait get new keys to new room, the new room was good but the Manger could have understood and said I will credit you for a night because now you have to repack and relocate.

Truly outstanding service and accommodations. I have stayed at high end properties in the world, this by far the best of all.
It is rare to find a an all inclusive with of this caliber. La Casa de la Playa it is to me the BEST BEACH HOTEL in the world. I dare you to find natural beauty, culture, art, architecture, private beach, exclusive experiences, Michelin star dining, and above the outstanding and warm care of the entire staff. Shoutout to Abraham, Laura, Gabriel and Stephanie and many more, for making our last stayed unforgettable.
I will be back most likely this year to my home on the beach!

A beautiful resort - clean, with incredible and spacious rooms, adults-only and boutique! From check in to check out, the staff were friendly and work hard to ensure you have a great stay.

Guillermo, our conceige, was top notch. Friendly, attentive and all-around wonderful person. All the hostess and restaurant employees were fantastic! Bartenders Raul and Luis were awesome. They were so knowledgeable about tequilas and mezcals and happy to teach. We even made a few custom drinks together!!! The team at the sky bar were also fantastic!
The restaurants were great and with really thoughtful concepts and menus. Loved them.
The mezcal bar and chocolate bar were great.
It would be great to show movies or have evening hours at the sky bar.

absolutely amazing! my wife and I booked this trip last minute and were hesitant as this is an all inclusive resort. we've stayed at several resorts all around the world and this is one of the BEST to date. The property and architecture is truly breathtaking. The people are so humble and kind, the restaurants are basically mini michelin start pop ups. You never have the feeling that you are at an inclusive, the exact opposite. This is an extremely special property and we hope to come back very soon. I could not ask for anything more. My wife gets around in a scooter and the property and adjacent Arte were very accessible. Its was our first time strolling along the beach together because the hotel had paved ramps amd a paved walkway along the beach. Any issues or concerns we had were adressed immediately

Room was not cleaned for hours which caused animals to come in to the terrace and break plates. When I told the person that was assisting us he said they has between 9 - 5 to clean the room, which I understand however what I don’t understand is why he kept asking when our room was available to clean if they were not going to send anyone. Also, he was in the room when we left. He was stocking up the minibar and saw the food outside and didnt call anyone to pick it up. The rest of the staff, everyone from the cleaning lady, life guard, waitress were extremely friendly and helpful. The main issue was the miscommunication with the butler. We wanted to stay some additional nights and he never responded about the availability or the cost as we asked. We had to wait for 2 hours to hear back from the other butler. We really want to go back however this experience did not make me feel welcomed. The butler said he would talk to management however management never reached out so I am not sure if they were made aware of the situation. Beautiful hotel, definitely needs to improve on the customer service aspect especially for the price they are charging

We recently stayed at the La Casa de La Playa for 6 nights for our first vacation to an all-inclusive resort in Mexico. From the moment we arrived to the moment we were dropped off at the airport it was nothing but great a great experience.

Our two butlers (Mariel and David) saw to our every need and were always a step ahead of us in providing us information with our daily itinerary.

Santos at the Sky Bar was amazing and took care of me and everyone at the pool. The service Santos provided made the experience at the pool very relaxing and enjoyable.

One of our favorite activities at LCDLP was the hydrotherapy massage. We enjoyed it so much that we got it done three times during our stay. The service that Martha, Sulemm and Fernando provided at the spa was nothing but the best.

We also received the same type of service from other employees at our activities. At Xplorer, it was Catherine and Eduardo that ensured our day at the park was enjoyable and filled with the activities we wanted to experience. At Xpeleo, our guide Oscar provided us with so much insight during our tour and Carlos our lifeguard ensured we were always safe in the water. At Espectacular, Fernando was a great host and shared so much insight about the production of the show. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the behind-the-scenes production truly enhanced our experience.

Transportation and drivers were amazing, was especially impressed with Jesus and Augusto.

Would highly recommend this hotel!!

One of the most impressive all-inclusive experiences we have ever had. From the time we arrived at the airport and were greeted by the Xcaret staff, our care free ride to the resort, being met by our personal butler Carla upon arrival, the amazing ocean view from the resort, and then being escorted to our room. We were already wowed. But the best was yet to come…the room was truly amazing. The amenities, the cleanliness, the view, the perfect experience. The food at all of the restaurants was excellent, unique and the presentation was a work of art. The service at the restaurants, the bars, the poolside, the spa, was wonderful. The included entry to the Xcaret owned parks, the dinner experience at Espectacular and the Sonote were amazing as well. Our every need was not only taken care of, but anticipated. It was truly a once in a lifetime (or should I say FIRST OF MANY) experience. Tipping was not mandatory. But how could we not tip everyone? We were treated like family. We will most definitely be back.

Our stay at La Casa De La Playa was both beautiful and luxurious! An amazing adults-only, all-inclusive boutique style resort with lots of amenities. With only 63 suites, it feels personal, private, and cozy.

However, I am peeved with Expedia. Expedia listed the incorrect check-in time for this resort (12 p.m.). Needless to say, we had to wait in the lobby area, in the heat, for 3 hours to finally get into our room (hotel check-in time is 3 p.m.). Imagine having to wait 3 hours after driving for 1 hour from the airport. What a way to set the tone, Expedia!
