Two stars off because one you couldn’t swim in the ocean for two of the three days we were there. The reason was because it was a new moon and they were worried that we were gonna go Spearfishing.
Also, it was the worst gym I’ve ever seen in my life. Equipment was all old and rusted out and it was half outside so it was too hot. Also, there’s about 10 workers banging around and painting it.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at Coco Grove in Siquijor. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, beautiful, and well-run. The property itself is stunning and truly feels like a paradise retreat.

One of the biggest highlights was the staff—especially the women at the front desk and the experiences team. They were so lively, friendly, and genuinely helpful, and what stood out most was how they always remembered our names. That personal touch made us feel so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay.

The experiences team also took real time to make sure we had the perfect excursions. They helped us plan our Apo Island trip & curated the type of island exploration we wanted, including visiting spiritual and local sites. Booking scooters through the resort was also quick and seamless, which made exploring Siquijor easy & stress-free.

Breakfast was consistently great and staff were very accommodating. We also ordered room service almost every day and it was excellent.

We stayed in the Penthouse and I highly recommend it—spacious, beautiful, and two floors. The nightly turndown service (closing the curtains, etc.) was such a thoughtful luxury touch. Another great perk: you can reserve a specific dinner table free of charge, which we loved.

Complimentary port transfers were also included, and having their own on-site dive center made it super convenient to book our Apo Island dive. Coco Grove is a must-stay in Siquijor—we will definitely be back!

We loved our stay here. The staff were absolutely amazing. The front desk staff, the tours staff, the restaurant staff and the tuktuk tour drivers were all so friendly and helpful. Our scenic nature tour was so fun and each stop was memorable.

The food at the restaurants was great and the ambiance was top notch. They always made sure we were well taken care of and that reservations were honoured.

The evening shows were really cool and the staff really puts their all into it. The singers, the fire dancers and the ladies of the Salamandas restaurant (especially the emcee/hostess, we loved her enthusiasm) were all fun to watch.

The beachfront was amazing and so much seating. The pools were spacious, but a bit dirty. The lifeguard was cleaning as we were swimming though so wasn’t too worried about it, just maybe need to clean it more often.

The cleaners were great. Very thorough.

My biggest downside is by far the television. When you’ve had a long night and want to unwind, a tv is nice and they had 13 channels, 3 or so in English and the rest were foreign channels and ones that didn’t work (like the history channel, which would have been nice to watch). Get smart TVs with streaming apps if possible and a better wifi connection. That is my only wish.

We’ll be back though no matter what. We had a fantastic experience.

I have stayed in a lot of properties around the world and this was amongst the best! The marine sanctuary is a snorkelling paradise, the food and service 10/10 and the spa massages were excellent. If I was being really picky, I would say the room decor is a bit dated but still very clean and perfectly functional. We loved this place, just excellent.

夫婦2人、小学生2人の家族で宿泊しました。スタッフは、みんなフレンドリーで親切です。他の家族と一緒に大勢で車を借りて出かける時、私達が遅く予約したため手配できないとの事だったけど、ホテルスタッフがなんとか車を見つけてくれて、みんなで出かける事ができました。ホテル内は、安全で子供達も自由に動き回れるが、ホテルの外は子供と徒歩でアクセスできるレストランなどはないです。しかし、トゥクトゥクなどは、簡単に見つかります。ホテル自体、少し古くなってる部分もあるが、清潔に保たれていいます。ホテルのビーチから、すぐにシュノーケリングもできて、たくさんの魚達や亀もみれました。子供達とシュノーケリング行くなら、ガイドを雇う事をおすすめします。

The property itself is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. The food is descent, but they limit the dinner menu and run out of choices for dinner. They could do a better job controlling the mosquitos while dining. The swimming pools are nice but I prefer non salt water pools. Which they don’t have. One day our room at palm court smelled like sewer due to the sewage backing up in the property. We had to sit outside our room due to the smell. Another day they had an all day blackout and had to use generators for powering the resort. The generator broke down, so we had no power, no ac and no Wi-Fi for quite some time. They will give you a discount off your room if problems arise but it’s not enough of a refund for the trouble. Having said all this. The resort is very beautiful and the staff is the absolute best!

The Staff are incredible, the professionalism and attention to detail were unmatched by anyplace I have stayed in my 58 years. Everyone from the front desk, bartenders, meal servers to the ground staff and life guards made my wife and feel welcome and treated us with great respect. But you have to be carful, while booking-there are many different roomtypes and our friends were very unhappy with the villa they booked.

The property it self is really nice, staff are really friendly except this one lady at the front desk who didnt really help us with our problem.. looks like she’s in a hurry and wants to end our conversation right away. Good thing most of them are accomodating and friendly especially the staff at the dining. Wifi is our main complain, we really dont have wifi in our room.. we reached to them our problem but didnt solve our issue.. need to go outside to get some wifi. Over all we still loved our short stay. The resort is relaxing and we did enjoyed our stay .

We were switched to another room which was inferior to the original room we booked and procedure for moving was awkward and unfair. There were many problems with communication and WiFi. Customer support was painfully slow.

The servuce was amazing, so many nice and friendly people, especially at the reception or at the poolbar.
I had to buy adapter for electricity because there was only one plug with international standard. But this was only a minor point. Perhaps in other rooms it is better. The resort is phantastic with flower gardens and directly at the beach. So many activities possible. Thank you very much. I will come back again.

The property was beautiful, although the views were very obstructed by the lovely trees.
The staff was very pleasant and always approachable. However, it appeared to be a disconnect between listening and acting on requests. The charges at the resort were annoying, simply fixing a set price for all would be less bothersome in the long run. My air conditioning was not working properly for two days. I had to request having my bill adjusted to accommodate the inconvenience. The property granted the bill adjustment but i should not have had to ask. Not once did I see or hear from management regarding this issue. The front desk personnel should not be apologizing, the management should make apologies and amends for the issue. Not sure I would stay again because of the issues. Once again, the staff was great but they should respond to requests with more con ern. Also, reaching the front desk by phone from your room is impossible during the day. I must say, the night time desk person was fabulous (didn't get his name unfortunately). He came up to check air conditioning and even offered me a upgraded room until someone could check out my unit. Bravo to him, maybe he should be the manager!

Loved the resort itself. The staff were wonderful, always remembering names and were so welcoming. The resort itself is right on the beach and it’s beautiful. Always so helpful to arrange to get you the places you need to go. We will miss the hotel staff!

The only criticism is that the food was terrible, everything we ate there was stale, had an awful flavour or texture and was under or over cooked. Annoyingly one of us received food poisoning from one of the beach lunchtime dishes which has ruined the holiday a bit. But this is probably an unlikely case.

5 stars other than the food.

Staff were amazing, the room we had at the property was a little bit in need of a spruce up, also the maintenance issues we had were dealt with immediately by the team, which was appreciated. All staff were lovely and could not do enough for us, special mention to the team at the pool bar (Jamaica, Rachel, RM and JR) who really are an asset to the hotel, also special shout out to the breakfast team in the main restaurant who again were amazing. Thanks also to the reception team and housekeeping.

The property area with palm trees and a lot of plants had a feeling for the tropical Forrest. It was awesome! Internet and TV was off and on; maintenance and staff were responsive; the rooms were clean but had its years… looks tired. Food was good; location was better than some Hawaii resorts. The staff from the front desk to the restaurant was absolutely delightful. My now, fiancé and I had a wonderful stay. The only con, was the band that plays at the restaurant on Saturday nights has their exterior PA cabinets facing the hotel rooms. You can't get any rest until 10pm.

We've been to Coco Grove on many occasions, the property is absolutely stunning, many would say that its paradise..... if you haven't been, you really should! Food is delicious, staff is warm and friendly, if you snorkle theres a spectacular coral right there that's actually a marine sanctuary! You just simply cannot go wrong by staying at Coco Grove!
