The hotel reception is in another building a street away. We had no information about this. Then when we eventually established where reception was there was no one there - anther 10 minutes waiting. It was really disappointing.

Breakfast is nice though there aren’t enough tables. You stand around waiting and are then doubled up with other guests.

Rooms are clean and tidy.

Breakfast good. Great location - except distance from inconvenient car park. This property was on midst of change to Garner. Room was Rey good but public areas poor - stairs dark. No lift!

It would have been very useful to know the location was pedestrian only, and about the walk to the hotel AND that it had been rebranded!

We happened to get to the hotel at around 10am and the staff was very helpful in setting up us with a room near the elevator as well as keeping our luggage so we could explore the city. When we got to the room, we were surprised at how large it was and had windows on two sides since we were put into a corner room. We only stayed one night but the hotel is right on the waterfront and nearby to everything needed.

We arrived on Sunday evening around 6pm after a long drive. Two rather youngish looking men sat at reception, no welcome, no offer to help with our luggage etc.
Our experience was that staff was friendly during the days, but pm teenagers were ‘looking after’ the place.
We booked a comfort room, nothing comfortable about the room. Wooden floors, someone pulling or pushing a chair in the room above and we were awake. The rooms looked nothing like in the pics on the website. The door handle for bathroom door was broken, as was the safe and there was no one available to fix it until the next morning - all money and passports were locked away, thank goodness we didn’t need to leave until two days later. The bath tub had marks which wouldn’t wash off, that means no one had done a deep clean in a while…
Breakfast was okay, location was great right by the lake, shops and restaurants.
The hotel has no parking facilities, a nearby multi storey car park can be accessed for €15 per day.
Maximum 2 out of 5, rather disappointing.

Firstly no fault attached to the staff. Initial problem is finding the hotel in the pedestrianised town centre. Parking is in a public car park next to the bus station and funfair a 5 minute walk away. Room was very noisy as it was on main street and you get drunks going home noisily late at night and get woken by council staff cleaning up early morning

The location was perfect! So many shops, dining, sights and right by the lake! The elevator stopped working our first day (we were on the fourth floor). The staff was very apologetic and offered to change our room. It was fixed the next afternoon.
The doors need a little lubricant, they were loud closing. Mini fridge was not that cold.
Parking was not convenient.

Air conditioning would be nice but the open windows kept it tolerable. The downside was the lights and noise from the streets. The staff was GREAT! Breakfast was wonderful.
The shower was fine, but climbing in and out can be very treacherous for someone with limited mobility and even the able-bodied. It’s just very tall.
The heated towel rack was a nice little plus!
The hotel is changing names, but thankfully, we looked for the address provided before we looked for the hotel name. A prior review gave us a heads up about it also.
The location was also very convenient for public transportation just a short walk away.
Overall, our stay was satisfactory!

We were never told before we arrived that they are in the middle of a renovation and ownership exchange. The new name is already on the wall so we walked five times past it until it occurred to me to ask if that was the hotel that we booked. The guys at the reception seemed to have a friend visiting them and were not that professional.. at least not what we are used to while checking in at a hotel. We had two rooms in two separate buildings which was not optimal. The only good thing is that the rooms are really big and spacious.

One of my worst hotel experiences. Imagine arriving after 11 PM, entering your room, and finding people inside: screams, fright, and complaints. Going back to the front desk to complain and being sent to another room, only to have the same thing happen—a person sleeping inside gets scared, wakes up startled, and starts screaming. If this happened to me, I would sue the hotel.

A hotel with two buildings, one without an elevator. Climbing three floors by stairs is something I wouldn't recommend to anyone of a certain age. There's no air conditioning, and the worst part is that on the last night, I had to sleep in another hotel because when I got to the room, the key didn't work, and there was no one at the front desk to assist. The excuse was that there was a phone number on a piece of paper at the front, written in tiny letters in the middle of the darkness. I will not return and wouldn't recommend this hotel even to my worst enemy.

The room we had was lovely, with a settee and 2 arm chairs plus a big bed (very comfortable). My only 'gripe' would be the bathroom - at my age it is very difficult to clamber over the side of the bath to have a shower - and the cost of the breakfast. 19 euros each for breakfast is very expensive - it looked lovely but at £35 for 2 people was not something we were prepared to pay. As I say, apart from that, wonderful hotel in a wonderful location.

We stayed here for 3 nights. We reserved the Executive Room and were not disappointed. Large and modern. Big shower and bathroom. Hotel has a main house and a 2nd building just behind the main house. Due to it's central location in the pedestrian zone of Friedrichshafen access with your car is limited to loading and unloading. Also expect some light crowd noises typical for pedestrian zones. We wish the room would have come with a fan to circulate the air as the rooms don't have A/C (air condition). We had to open the windows letting in even more noise.

Super. Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr nett und für jeden Wunsch sehr hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist sowieso perfekt. Ich würde dieses Hotel sofort wieder buchen. Das Frühstück war mega. Alles vorhanden. Der Frühstück.raum war etwas zu klein um 09Uhr ist kaum Platz.

Das Zimmer war bereits in die Jahr gekommen und teilweise ziemlich abgewohnt. Der Rolladengurt im Bad war schon ausgefranst, auch der Kit oder das Silikon vom Türrahmen war bröckelig. Das Zimmer war auch recht hellhörig, man hörte jede Zimmertür von Nachbarzimmern, wenn diese ins Schloss fielen oder auch die Schritte aus dem Zimmer über dem eigenen. Das Personal selbst war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbüffet war, denke ich, für 3 Sterne in Ordnung. Einen Aufzug gibt es leider nicht. So muss man seine(n) Koffer über Treppen nach oben bzw. wieder nach unten wuchten. Die Lage selbst war toll. Ruhig in einer Fußgängerzone und nicht weit vom Hafen.

Das Team an der Rezeption war super nett und hilfsbereit, auch das Service Team beim Frühstück war außerordentlich nett! Die Zimmer bzw der Gang/Aufzug könnte etwas sauberer sein. Gesamt ist das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen, es wurde zwar versucht, es neuwertig aussehen zu lassen, aber mit billigsten Materialien, die überall anfallen/abbröckeln und/oder kaputt sind...

Pontos fracos: falta um ar condicionado pois fez muito calor nesse período. A rua próxima passa o serviço de limpeza bem cedo e faz bastante barulho.

I beskrivelse af hotellet står der, at der er elevator og parkering på gaden. Der er ikke elevator og parkering på gaden er kun for 10 min. ifbm. aflevering af bagage.
Det er noget slidt, og booket værelse virkede som om, det var et enkeltværelse med dobbeltseng (kun lampe og stikkontakter til den ene side og fx kun 3 bøjler i skab). Badeværelse meget lille.
Fint for en enkelt overnatning, men ikke for 1 uges tid.
Kan ikke anbefales til gangbesværede (der er trapper til alle værelser).

Die Damen am Empfang waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Gästekarte wurde einem proaktiv ausgehändigt und man wurde auf die Kooperation mit dem Parkhaus in der Altstadt aufmerksam gemacht (15€/24h, man muss aber bereits mit dem QR Code des Hotels einfahren).
Wir waren im Nebengebäude untergebracht, dort gibt es auch einen Aufzug. Unser Exekutive Zimmer war genauso wie auf den Bildern auf der Hotelwebsite - modern und es sieht auch recht neu aus. Das Zimmer hätte etwas sauberer sein können (ein paar Spinnenweben und Staub in der Ecke) aber alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Einen kleinen Kühlschrank gab es auch. Man muss sich darauf einstellen, dass die Wände etwas hellhörig sind und es keine Klimaanlage sondern nur einen Ventilator gibt.
Das Frühstücksbuffet ist solide, jeder sollte etwas finden. Man sollte allerdings nicht erst um 10 Uhr dort sein (Ende 10:30 Uhr) da sonst schon ein paar Dinge leer sind.
Die Lage des Hotels ist unschlagbar, mitten in der Fußgängerzone.
Wir würden das Hotel auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

Das einzige was zu bemängeln ist , das der Türschließer nicht korrekt eingestellt war.Es kam beim Öffnen und Schließen zu einem großen Krach..d.h sehr großer Geräuschpegel...auch in der Nacht..wenn andere Gäste dann nach Hause kamen!!!

War mal ein sehr schônes Familienhotel in historischem Gebäude.
Zimmer schön gross und gepflegt. Bequeme Betten mit guten Bettwaren und reichlich Kissen. Bequemer Sitzecke, Wasserkocher und hochwertigen Möbeln (nachhaltig). Badezimmer gross mit 80er Jahre Standard, aber sehr gepflegt. Warmwasser in der Dusche spärlich. ( Superior).
Gutes kleines Frühstück im wirklich guten Preis, den wir zahlten, enthalten. Fanden wir gut. Lustlose aber freundliche Rezeption. Für mich ein Hotel-Garni mit Minimalservice zum guten Preis in Lage fast am See.

Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut direkt am Bodensee innerhlab von wenigen Minuten ist die Promenade fußläufig zu erreichen.
Frühstück war auch gut.

Negativ aufgefallen wäre die Sauberkeit der Zimmer, Staubbällchen, die Fernbedinung sah aus als wäre sie noch nie gesäubert worden, duschkabiene nicht dicht, überflutet den Boden im Bad und noch paar andere \"kleinigkeiten\".
Personal spricht teilweise kaum Deutsch eher Englisch.

Zimmer und Bad waren geräumig und sauber. Alles funktionierte bestens: TV, Minibar, Safe. Frühstücksbuffet war vielseitig und sehr lecker. Wer später zum Frühstück kommt muss evtl. warten bis ein Platz frei wird, aber das spricht ja für das Hotel, dass es sehr gut belegt ist. Hotel liegt strandnah. Preis/Leistung ist sehr gut.
Parken ist nur in öffentlichen Parkhäusern möglich, die einiges entfernt sind.

Es war alles top. Schön wäre noch gewesen,wenn wir den Fernseher zum Laufen gebracht hätten. Keine Chance. Der freundliche junge Mann an der Anmeldung konnte uns da leider auch nicht

Je höher der Übernachtungspreis ausfällt, umso höher sind meine Erwartungen.
Positiv: das Frühstück. Außer Quark natur gibt es alles, was ich mag. Die Brötchen könnten krosser sein. Ganz klasse: frisch geschnittenes Obst.
Nicht so gut: Kleinigkeiten.

Kurzreise an den Bodensee

Das Zimmer befand sich im Nebenhaus, war sehr geräumig und mit Sitzecke ausgestattet. Die Betten waren hervorragend und alles war sehr sauber. Einziges Manko war, das die Heizung im Bad wohl defekt war. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war hervorragend.
