We visited Rome to celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday, and staying at Nerva Boutique Hotel made the whole trip feel even more special. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. The private limo service arranged by the hotel was convenient, welcoming, and a great way to start our break.

First impressions of the hotel were stunning. It’s beautifully designed, full of charm, and it was clear our arrival had been carefully planned for. Our welcome was warm and friendly, and check‑in was quick and effortless. The staff genuinely cared, and it showed in every interaction.

We were given a short tour before being shown to our room, which was absolutely gorgeous. Thoughtful touches like welcome drinks, gifts, and little souvenirs made it feel personal and perfect for the occasion.

Breakfast each morning was delicious, and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Every encounter felt sincere and meaningful.

The location couldn’t have been better. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance, yet the hotel still felt peaceful and tucked away. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to bring an extension lead, as plug sockets are a little limited.

I’ve stayed in many hotels over the years, but this one stands out above the rest. The service, the atmosphere, and the attention to detail were all five‑star. Rome has become one of my favourite places, and when we return, we’ll definitely stay at Nerva again.

We had an excellent time visiting. It was fun vacation. We visited a a friends getaway. Three couple that have been friends for over 20 years. Luba made our stay extra special. She had our breakfast ready to go whenever we had an early start. She even included Italian lessons so that we would know how to say things properly! A perfect stay.

The staff at the property were very good. The 10:30 check out is extremely annoying. The property is very small and the rooms are very small. They have large keys for the rooms and a physical key for a very small safe. The shower is very small. It is a small property in a good location with a well trained staff.

This hotel is a gem! It is ideally situated in Rome - close most areas which you can walk to, but not touristy. It's also quiet at night, the breakfast is amazing, and the staff are the friendliest. The rooms are very well decorated and are very comfy. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Rome!

The main reason I booked this property was because they said they had parking onsite. They don't.

We only had a short period in Rome and we wanted to maximize our stay. Paid a heck of a lot more for this hotel so use the car park and turning up they told us it was 1km a way. Not only that but it was an additional 7 Euros from what they stated.

Lastly, the staff said they would speak to the manager. They didn't. They really didn't care even though I showed them the misinformation they showed on Expedia.

Room was good. Good location. But they wasted some of our valuable time, didn't care about it, and we paid more for the hotel for a service we didn't get in the end.

The hotel room was perfect for us. Things to note was the staff. We had to travel back to Canada and required a specific Covid test so we called the hotel for support. A lady named Nicole helped us out, booked our tests before we had even checked into the hotel. This was an incredible level of customer service that made our lives and stay very positive.

Can't say enough good things! Antonio at the front desk is a professional delight. He speaks English better than any American and tended to our every need leading up to and during the visit. Sally, the breakfast lady, is ADORABLE and literally provides a $4 feast every morning. We wanted to take her home with us. The rooms are super clean, ultra hip and European, and the location is in walking distance of all the sights! A million stars!

It is located only few minutes from Colosseum and Forum and 10 mins walking to most of the sites. Amazing location. Rooms and bathrooms are small but workable. AC was good. We had family room with consists of two seperate rooms. Breakfast was awesome with coffee, eggs, fruit, cheese, ham, bread, cake, milk, yogurt....Fresh squeezed orange juice was so good! I require gluten-free and I had plenty of options to choose from. They also had special gf bread, cookies etc. In the afternoon, there is snack service with great cakes, coffee and tea. Front desk was nice and helpful. We loved our stay!

It’s an old house converted to a hotel so it’s small and doesn’t have many comforts you see in other boutique hotels but they compensate with their excellent service, the staff are very helpful, friendly and professional.

There was nothing not to like about the Nerva Boutique Hotel. I arrived very late - after midnight - with no problem. Check in was fast and easy. The room, while small, was amazingly well-appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was fully equipped. I did not have the opportunity to have breakfast at the hotel, but the dining room seemed very nice and the guests there all seem very satisfied. I chose the hotel for its closeness to the Forum and Colosseum. I could not have been any closer. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location across from Roman Forum and around corners from Colosseum. Spotless if somewhat small room with tiny bathroom. The only thing that didn’t make the stay perfect is that I found the bed quite uncomfortable but that’s a personal prefer thing I would guess. Overall I would recommend this hotel

Absolutely great experience at this wonderful boutique hotel! The location is excellent, in walking distance from all famous sightseeing places. The room and bed was nice, clean and comfortable. The size of bathroom was small, but it was super clean and in very nice condition. It looks like the hotel was recently renovated. The front desk staff was friendly and super helpful. Paolo replied to all my questions and made all arrangements for museums and my shuttle. The shuttle service was EXCELLENT!!! I will definitely be back to this hotel and recommend it to everyone.

I liked that the front reception desk was staffed 24 hours and that to get into the hotel they had to buzz you in and then asked your room number. The place was spotless and the breakfast was served by the sweetest lady who remembered what I had each morning! The location was within 10-15 minutes walking distance from most of the major attractions and it sits literally right behind Trajan's Forum. The trendy neighborhood of Monti is right around the corner and I kid you not, has some of the best gelato in all of Rome.

We had booked a stay at the Nerva Boutique Hotel for 6 days and 5 nights. I wasn't sure what to expect since this was my first time to Rome. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel exceeded all my expectations.

Every morning, we had breakfast downstairs which was included in my package. While it was called a continental breakfast, it included a basket of fresh pastries, tea or coffee, boiled eggs, cup of fruit, fresh orange juice, and cold cuts and cheese. It was more than enough for breakfast and everything was hot and fresh. The rooms are small, but that's to be expected for Europe, but they are extremely clean. The hotel is within walking distance of everywhere. We only took a taxi once and walked everywhere afterwards. I was a great way to see the city and burn off the calories. Even though we were two girls traveling in Rome, we felt pretty safe since there were always a military presence at all the main tourist areas and there were always a lot of people out and about.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. They had recommendations for restaurants and would make reservations for us if needed. We took the limo service back and forth to the hotel and FCO. It was convenient since we had to leave the hotel at 4:30 am to get the airport for the flight home. Cost is about the same as taking a taxi. I

would definitely stay here again if I come back to Rome. Will recommend it to anyone coming to Rome!

Our room had two bathrooms. One for me and one for my wife (my wife really liked having her own bathroom). Each bathroom was modern with marble showers. The room was very nice and of good size. The elevator was small but we have seen small elevators in France too. You only had to walk about 200 feet and you were in an area that had many choices of restaurants and the night we were there, there seemed to be an outdoor concert in a square nearby. Many common sites to see in Rome are close by. Trevi fountain is a 15 minute walk. The Colosseum was within a reasonable distance. Great breakfast included.

Fantastic location - all the major sights and sites are walk-able as is the train station. The hotel itself is in a relatively quiet area off the Via Cavour with numerous good restaurants nearby. The staff are all very pleasant, helpful and friendly.The breakfasts are particularly good in terms of quality, choice (fresh fruit, yogurt, ham, cheeses, smoked salmon, bread rolls and pastries etc.) , and all brought to your table by a charming lady.
The one aspect that was disappointing - our rooms were in an annex (around the corner in a separate building) This was not only that convenient but the rooms themselves were rather pokey and lacking natural light; the shower was also quite difficult to enter / exit (especially so for the elderly / infirm).

GREAT place to stay in Rome!

We stayed at the Nerva Boutique Hotel for one full week on our recent trip to Venice, Florence and Rome lasting one month. It was, by far, the best hotel during our lengthy stay in Italy. The room was spotless and spacious (big enough to hang up our clothes!), the continental breakfasts (& lovely waitress \"Sally\") were FANTASTIC!, and the location was ideal being within close walking distance to many major attractions.

The front desk staff helped us plan a bus day excursion out of the city, general directions, getting taxis and gave us a very much needed recommended restaurants list. (note: **We should have asked for this list on the first night to save us from grief on one evening when we had the worst restaurant experience of our lives at a cute little place up the same street -- Our favorite restaurant close to the hotel ended up being Fafiuche, an intimate Italian restaurant close by the Nerva with INCREDIBLE food at terrific prices. Reservations are needed as it is popular! The front desk staff helped us with this. We went there three times for dinner during our stay as it was our favorite spot for dinner in Rome!

The free tea and coffee after a long day walking the sights is a lovely touch and much appreciated. I'd definitely recommend this brilliant hotel.

Excellent place to stay!

My wife and I stayed here for 7 days, and had a great experience. The rooms were clean, and only a few mins walk to major sites. The staff was very friendly and helpful all the time.

Beautiful hotel, excellent service

We chose this hotel because of its location, walking distance from the train station, ruins, and great restaurants. In addition to a great location, it also offered excellent service. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants, made reservations for us and helped with navigating the city. The breakfast was awesome! Great service. The room was comfortable, clean and modern. Would definitely return!

Beautiful hotel, amazing location.

Beautiful boutique hotel, located right in the heart of the Roman historical district. Walking distance to the Colosseum (5 mins), the Forum (2 mins), Palazzo Venezia/Capitoline Hill (5 mins), Via Del Corso (main shopping street, 8 mins), Spanish Steps (20 mins), Piazza Navona (15 mins), Pantheon (18 mins).

The hotel itself is cozy and clean, very friendly and helpful staff, always on hand with fantastic restaurant recommendations. Breakfast is also very good.

If you're looking for a Roman holiday filled with shopping, delicious food, and incredible historical sightseeing, this hotel is perfectly located and well-valued.
