My friend and I loved this cute hotel, staff were welcoming ,the room was small had 2 single beds but comfortable. In a good position near lovely cafes and excellent shopping

We had an extremely small attic room for 3 people, with sloping roof, so there was a very small area in which one could actually stand up. The worst thing was that there were a lot of silverfish on the walls by the skylight. When I spoke to the gentleman at reception about it he suggested they had come in through the skylight, which seemed unlikely as we'd kept it closed with the blind down due to the heat. However where they came from is not really the point! He went on to point out that the rooms on the top floor are the cheapest, which I took to mean: \"At these prices, whaddya expect?\" Yet the prices were not what I'd call cheap. I have stayed in cheap hotels . . . and they did not have silverfish.

It was a clean, basic \"value\" room in Bordeaux, France with great A/C. Great location in the city. Could have used some light blocking and soundproofing weatherstripping around the hallway door. The daytime staff were very nice and helpful. The sheets and towels were clean. Plenty of hot water in the shower. My only hesitation to giving it five stars for the value (and it IS a good value) is that I prefer a firmer mattress without any dips.

Great location. Staff are super nice. Really hot these days so really miss having a fridge in the room to keep water cold (I suppose that’s my only issue with the hotel). Rooms are pretty small but maybe par for the course I suppose.

The rooms are extremely small. We took a double room and barely could fit our luggages. There is no space to move in the room. And the bathroom is horrible. The toilet is in a narrow area. It was difficult to be comfortable to sit in there. We had to use the other toilets on the 4th floor sometimes because it was getting very uncomfortable.
The AC does not run during the day if it's more than 25 degrees to ''reduce'' energy consumption. So it would get very hot at the end of the day when we would come back. I would not stay there again unfortunately.

This place is very hard to locate. It is between 2 restaurants. The entrance is small. The staff is friendly. They didn’t tell us the breakfast were extra. We found out upon check out. The rooms were very small. The location is great which is about 30 minutes from the intercity train station, Bordeaux St. Jean.

We had one night here. The hotel was clean and the lady on reception spoke English which was helpful. Parking is very handy (opposite the hotel) which is arranged through the hotel: a QR code is given by Reception and you use this on entry to the car park. At the time of our entry, the QR code did not work and unfortunately instead of being €18 it turned out to be a whopping €35. However, we would stay here again, the location is brilliant.

Room 309 faced the Main Street with a bus stop in front and tram a 3-minute walk. Round the corner began the large, wide pedestrian shopping walkway with tram lines. Room was wide enough to walk around bed, had desk/chair with exposed closet. Bathroom smaller than a horse stall yet modern and functional. Did not eat breakfast here. Location beats all.

Certains commentaires qualifieraient notre chambre de petite. Nous ajouterions la précision suivante: ''Petit BIJOU''. Pour notre bonheur, notre chambre étant située sur un coin, nos deux fenêtres donnaient chacune, sur une artère principale. L’accueil avec Stéphanie fut très chaleureux. L’hôtel est parfaitement situé à proximité des centres d’intérêts et du tramway. Bons restaurants près de l’hôtel. Pour le bruit, on ferme les fenêtres et tout devient calme. Nous recommandons cet hôtel.

The rooms are comfortable (the bed was great) the rooms are extremely small. The shower so small that my husband (6’2”) had to open the shower door to properly wash. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The windows are far from sound proof, it’s a lively neighbourhood but I sleep quite soundly.
For the price I would stay there again.
I had requested an upgraded room, although I’m not sure that I got that. (If I did, I wonder how small a standard room would be)

QUIRKY BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN THE HEART OF BORDEAUX

The location of this hotel was a pleasant surprise. It’s at the top of the best shopping street in town and it goes all the way to the river. It’s inside an historic building that’s been refurbished resulting in some small and strangely shaped rooms.

I booked for only two nights but ended up staying four very comfortably. My room was a single which, unfortunately meant a single bed. Due to the shape of the room it made sense but I think a double up against the wall would have fit easily enough. While I slept well, I’ll check the booking more carefully next time.

There was a work desk, luggage rack, open wardrobe, TV, free WiFi and kettle with tea & coffee. There was a delightful view from the opening, full length windows.

The washroom was small but efficient. The shower was good, the toiletries good quality and the towels were soft.

The receptionists were all lovely and helpful. Breakfast is available onsite for a fee. Complimentary coffee was available all day from the machine in the lobby and, in the morning, pastries were also on offer.

I walked everywhere easily, with public transport and many restaurants and shops nearby. This was a great base for my first time in Bordeaux and I would stay here again.

Very convenient location. Wouldn’t stay for longer than 2 nights as the rooms are very small. Even though looks like it has been recently renovated, the walls have a lot of marks on them and there is still a lot of old features that need updating (e.g. air con). But for the location it was fine for us.

Good location for walking and exploring the city centre. Close to good restaurants and shops. Room was stuffy; little or no air circulation. Hotel policy had set the heat/cool/fan to OFF. No need for heat or air conditioning but because there was no control of fan, there was little or no air circulating. Therefore stuffy. No solid good nights sleep for five nights. Very noisy with window open; talking, yelling and singing from people in restaurants outside until 1 or 2 in the morning. Delivery trucks, garbage trucks and street cleaning trucks starting at 4 in the morning. Less noise but still noisy even with the window closed. Soap dispensers not functioning; used our own bar of soap. Coffee in the lobby was great.

We have stayed in hotels around the world and this hotel was the worst value of them all. The room was ridiculously small, you had to bend down to pass by the end of the bad. The decoration was tired and the room sparsely furnished. Very disappointing for the price. The photo sums up the hotel, even the coffee machine in reception remained in this state throughout our stay.

O café da manhã é ruim. Pouquíssima variedade de produtos e o café é ruim (máquina). O ovo cozido estava sempre duro. Não dava para comer. Em contrapartida, a equipe do hotel foi sempre gentil e atenciosa conosco. Realmente simpáticos. O quarto para três é pequeno e o banheiro minúsculo, mas compreendemos porque as construções são antigas, apesar do esforço deles para nos proporcionar o máximo de conforto e bem-estar. E a localização é excelente.
