Hôtel and rooms are decent, definitely not a 4 stars but for the price it's a good hotel.
However, 2 years in a row, the kitchen is a disaster! Took us about 2h30 between we order and finished our dishes.. Not to mention that some orders were wrong or missing..

Le Paddock est un très bon hotel 4* à proximité du circuit de Magny-Courd. Le souci est que quand ils cont complets ils proposent des studios qui sont indignent de l'hotel et qui méritent tout juste 2*. Décoration très simple, Isolation inexistante avec les studios voisins. VMC très bruyante empéchant de dormir. Accès \"au fond du couloir\" car en fait on se retrouve dans une annexe de l'hotel qui servait à priori à loger le personnel....

The hotel itself is nice and the area is very pretty. The rooms are a little tired, but ok. The worst part of the stay was the restaurant or, rather, the lack of the chance to go to it. We'd arrived late after a long journey and really needed some dinner. We hadn't reserved a table, which is our fault we admit, and there was nothing free. However, there were tables spare in the bar area and we asked if we could eat there. The staff looked at us as if we were mad and refused. We asked if they could recommend somewhere nearby instead and they made no suggestions or even tried to help us. It was very disappointing and we expected better.

- la propreté de la chambre. j'ai été très surpris de voir autant de moutons et poussières au sol, dans les coins. de même le mini frigo contenait des bouteilles de boissons d'anciens clients, certaines entamées.
- la réservation de notre table au restaurant n'a pas été prise correctement. Seules 2 personnes ont été comptées au lieu des 3 que nous étions. pourtant cela a été fait tôt, et bien qu'il y ait eu du monde, je pense que nous aurions pu avoir un table à l'intérieur. Ce n'est pas grave en soi. Juste, je pense que d'autres sont arrivés et ont réservés après nous, mais ont été attablé normalement.

Hotel Le Paddock was excellent in all respects - Its proximity to Magny Cour makes it ideal for visiting petrol heads ... but I would recommend it on its own merit as a very clean, comfortable, and service oriented establishment for any traveller.

The staff were excellent and helpful. Food good quality and rooms good. The only negative was the breakfast arrangement. Both morning was difficult to find a clean table. If you have breakfast at the end of the service as they don’t clean up throughout and leave it until the end, you find yourself eating food off a plate next to a pile of dirty plates and empty mugs. Not good. Everything else very good.

Ideal for the race circuit at Magny cours. Room , the shower is a stand in the bath affair. Rooms vary quite a lot , some have sofa's and more space , we had room 112 at the quiet end. Air con is very good , which you will be glad of in August time. Plenty of parking even for trailors, seems quite secure. Eating at the restaurant is reasonable , bar is quite pricey. Intermarche in town is small but has fuel as well. Small fitness room is okay , games room fine. There are function rooms , but otherwise social space is cosy.

Great location to the circuit and if your expectations aren't too high it's very good. Food was expensive and wasn't super great. Breakfast was very expensive and limited. Beer was expensive. An interesting choice
A good spot to find for a night's stay in the middle of our trip. The hotel was ok- it offered everything we needed. The room was large and comfy, beds very comfortable and the dinner was satisfactory with good service. The most interesting part was that it was in an curious neighborhood, in the middle of nowhere with the Magny-Cours race track all around us. Lots of racing car buildings nearby and specialty cars to check out. A good stop in the heart of France.

The hotel is only a short distance from the main road south- so convenient- but in a quiet location (as long as the race circuit is not being used!
Sad the hotel was being renovated so not its usual standard, we were attracted by the steam room/sauna after a long day's drive- but they were switched off.
Value for money as we used our welcome reward, but would have been very disappointed if we had paid.

Unexpected
We thought we were headed for a more isolated county B&B, but arrived at Magny -Cours in the middle of the French Superbike Championship which was being held less than 1 km away. The hotel was fully booked but the staff were helpful and attentive despite being very busy. The hotel had a considerable amount of grounds surrounding it and many shared areas- eg-large sitting room,open bar and pool area etc allowing you to relax and keeping any noise to a minimum. The menu, while not extensive , provided options and was very nice. Overall the ambience was comfortable and relaxing. Lift, A /C , free parking and wifi all good. Would recommend it.

J'ai déjà séjourné l'an passé, j'ai été très satisfait donc je suis retourné. Et cette fois ci c'est une autre histoire. Chambre avec accès difficile, pas d'ascenseur. Ne ressemble aucunement aux chambres sur les photos. Vraiment tres déçu. La chambre était partiellement faite quotidiennement. La poussière sur la plaque de cuisson et cuvette de toilettes avec traces montraient clairement que rien n'avait été fait. Je ne suis pas de nature à reclamer un geste commerciale mais j'espérais tout de même. Enfin y a bâtiment tout beau spacieux propre, et l'autre côté les chambres à partir de 501 à eviter

Nous avions un studio pour une nuit. La disposition de la chambre n’est pas terrible , l’ouverture de la porte donne sur le lit et la Clim fait du bruit mais c’est tout de même convenable. Le lit est petit en largeur et en longueur et le matelas est relativement dur. Le fait que la chambre soit mansardée étouffe un peu. Les toilettes sont équipés d’un sanibroyeur donc ça fait beaucoup de bruit lorsque quelqu’un tire la chasse d’eau. Il manque également un ascenseur pour accéder aux studios, avec une grosse valise ce n’est pas une partie de plaisir. La propreté est « passable » c’est propre globalement seulement les poussières ne sont pas faites régulièrement notamment sous la chaise.
En revanche , notre chambre étant prête plus tôt , nous avons pu l’avoir avant 16h30 et sinon ils nous laissaient profiter de la piscine le temps qu’elle soit prête.
Concernant l’amabilité des salariés , elle est tout simplement excellente. Politesse, sourires, conseils donnés précautionneusement, bref une gentillesse implacable.

Nous n’avions pas réservé le restaurant qui était soit disant complet, mais ce n’était pas le cas, plein de table vide. Impossible d’avoir un plateau de charcuterie ou quoi que ce soit, les jeunes serveurs sont feignants et incompétents. Dommage car l’accueil à la réception et le reste était très bien. Moralité, il faut un responsable car les petites jeunes ne voulaient pas travailler et personne pour les encadrer. La personne de l’accueil était bien d’accord avec nous…
