This property is really nice. This is something good for a long stay since room
Is beautiful, clean, well maintained, looks new, and staff are nice. It is also affordable. The room is cold, the TV has netflix and big, toiletries are available, therenis also a pantry or kitchen area for basic needs.

I love this hotel...they have everything you need. Its very comfortable, spacious and not compact like a lot of the other surrounding hotels. The price is always reasonable and i love that they give free champayne. I would and have been recommending this place to all my family and friends. The place is decent, it’s ok for a quick stop, bed is comfortable despite the room being extremely small. The bathroom needed a little bit more cleaning, and the shower curtains NEEDS to be CHANGED. I felt grossed out by the pink and black mold on the shower curtain. They had parking which was a big plus for me

Room was clean, but there was no sound-proofing whatsoever. The walls were paper thin. My room was on the first floor, around the corner from the lobby. I checked in around 9:00pm to try to get some sleep before a 6am flight the next morning out of LGA. I barely got any sleep because I could hear everything occurring outside of my room. The entire night from 9pm to 4:30am, I was woken up constantly by the sounds of people talking in the lobby. Why there were people in the lobby talking at 2:00am, I don’t know. Perhaps if you were not on the lobby level then things would be fine. The room was perfectly nice and clean, after all. But I would caution against prepaying; make a reservation and, after arriving, but before paying, ensure you are not on the first floor. Otherwise, cancel your booking and seek accommodations elsewhere if you want to sleep through the night!

The room was a disaster. The window was left open, the bed was filled with hair and crumbs, and when we turned on the heating, there was an awful smell. There was gunk and dead bugs stuck in the AC unit. The person working at the front desk moved us to another room upon request, but it was still dirty. There were brown, yellow, and red stains on the mattress, a hair-filled soap in the shower, mold by the shower, and hair on the beds. The rotten smell was still there, but not as bad. My card also stopped working a couple of times. The workers were very helpful, but the rooms were disgusting and the smells were awful.

Room was like an elevator shaft, only seating was a swivel stool, no desk, not well-cleaned. Another stay: room was better, elevator doors stuck with two guests inside along with an employee who did not address the guests and instead was giggling and speaking to someone in another language. The overall feel is unprofessional. The only advantage here is parking.

It was a lovely hotel! Very clean, friendly staff (they were very responsive- we got in very late our first night and asked for extra pillows in the morning and they brought them within 20 minutes.)

The fact that there was free parking was the biggest draw though- it was also just super convenient to get to from the bridge.

The hotel really isn’t bad as you get what you pay for so don’t expect a 4 or 5 star hotel and then complain when it’s not. I had absolutely NO issues at all it was exactly as expected and the staff are friendly. The rooms are simple and to the point somewhere to sleep in NY at a price that won’t bankrupt you in the process. I will definitely book a stay again for a quick weekend trip for sure.

I had booked two nights, first night went by fine, but the next morning I asked about parking, and apparently they took that as I was checking out. When I came back that night, they didn't have my reservation. I had to call hotels.com support to get my room back. Except my room had been cleaned, and my stuff that was still inside was gone. I didn't have any of my spare clothes or toiletries for that night. The next morning I got some of my stuff back, but I was missing some shirts, my razor, and my retainer. I can only assume they were stolen. I'm lucky that I didn't leave any electronics or my car keys in my room, or the damage could have been much worse. I can't recommend you stay here.

Need to drive or ride the bus to go to downtown Flushing for more food. It is really close by bus but just a bit too far to walk and a bit too much hassle to drive. Noise control is limited by the building. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff on site.

To start off the room was nasty. Our feet turned black when we walked around the room on our socks. The shower was not cleaned properly as there was still conditioner or shampoo stuck to the walls . The sheets had literal holes in them and the bedding smelled like it hadn’t been washed in some time . This is on top of the fact that they provided hand towels as bath towels and no bath mat for the dirty floor! To top it off our second and last night there we thought someone outside was playing club music the entire night , come to find out it was THE PEOPLE IN THE ROOM NEXTDOOR!!!! when we brought it to the attention of the front desk they said they would speak to them , well nothing changed , it still continued to be loud to the point of rattling the room . Luckily we had a 6 am flight and got right out of there but we didn’t sleep a wink that night and they could have cared less. The area is run down , felt unsafe and very far from the subways stations . Wouldn’t recommend to anyone to stay here ! I wish I could attach the video I took of how loud the music was .

Room was clean and confortable. My friend and I arrived earlier than check in, we had been on a 10 hour flight and just wanted to rest. The employee that was working was very accommodating and we got in a room right away. After being in the room a bit we put on the TV and it wasn't working. I talked to the same employee that offered to swith our room, no problem where TV service was working. We switched rooms. I was very satisified with the cleanness of the room and beds in both rooms were very confortable. I would stay here again, the employees here were wonderful.

Staff were very nice and accommodating but unfortunately the room wasn’t. Bathroom floor was dirty as were the bed sheets. Internet was out about 92% of the stay. Room was hot at night. But overall, since you need to be a Palantir executive to afford a hotel room in New York, I would encourage anyone on a budget to stay here, I hope the manager reads this and makes the necessary changes so working class people can enjoy a comfortable stay in this hotel.

While the room and bathroom appeared to be clean. The bathroom floor was apparently mopped using a stale bucket of mop water. I'm allergic to mold and my sinuses stuffed immediately. I figured out it was coming from the bathroom and likely the floor. Simply cleaning the floor myself with one of their towels and water from the sink cleared the problem. I had an evening job to do. I decided to forego returning to the room to rest and fought drowsiness on the drive home instead.

I stayed in Room 102 at the Grandview Hotel New York and had a very disappointing experience.

The tub/shower was clogged and even after notifying staff, it was never fixed.

There was a ceiling vent with no cover, which looked unsafe and unclean.

The toilet would not flush unless the handle was held down.

The room was not properly cleaned: the ice bucket still had water in it, there was a used shampoo bottle left in the shower, and the roll of toilet paper provided was nearly gone with no spare—so I had to ask for one.

The towels provided were very small and of poor quality.

For the price and expectations of a New York hotel, this was unacceptable. I strongly recommend that management address these issues to improve guest experience.

The hotel is clean. Covenient location to Laguardia airport and US Open tennis tournament. Staff was friendly. Our queen room was a bit tight sizewise, but we only stayed for 1 night each of our two stays, and found it sufficient. Very convenient meal options about a 5-10 minute walk away. Hotel is on a bus route that stops right out front of hotel. Makes it convenient to get to many other places in the NYC area. 20 min walk to subway.
