The staff were very courteous and attentive. One young man helped me book a bus ticket back to Ancara. The breakfast and dinner were beyond excellent. The location is the best to watch the balloons. The price for the room should be more expensive for the quality.

Poor condition of rooms, cleanliness poor. Bathroom was always flooded after taking a shower. Had to drop all towels to soak up each time. Sound proofing bad, could hear too much noise from other rooms.

The doors were noisy in the early morning as people are going for balloon ride. Our room had ceiling leak and the door to the terrace had a knob that's not working - only the dead bolt.
The room needs a facelift and the food was too much for our liking. Most of their clients are Asians so they should cater more for them.

Beautiful pool and great spread for breakfast. The dinner buffet was affordable however there are limited food options around the hotel that are walking distance. We could not see any hot air balloons from this location in the mornings. We did the hot air air balloon rides and atv at sunset, recommend this hotel and these activities.

We have stayed at this property a number of times over the years. The hamam, sauna, and pool are excellent and one of our biggest perks to stay. The other perk is usually the incredible view of the balloons that are launched early morning each day but unfortunately, neither of our 2 mornings there, were there any balloons. The reasoning was weather but the weather was beautiful each day. That, of course, is no fault of the hotel, just a disappointment to us. My only complaint was that the wifi was not available in any area but the lobby. The breakfast buffet was awesome, as were the views of the Uchisar castle and valley.

Çift olarak çok heyecanlı bir şekilde gittik, fiyat farkı ödeyerek kendi terası olan bir oda tuttuk. Ama rezalet yani, herkesle ortak avlusu olan odaya yerleştirdiler, tek kişilik iki yatağı birleştirmişler arasında göçük oluşuyor, bel ağrısından uyuyamadım. Oda fotoğraftan çok daha vasattı. Sabah kahvaltı için gittiğimizde saat geçti dediler telafi de etmediler, kahvaltı saati bilgisi bile verilmedi. Telafi etmeye yönelik hiç bir girişimleri olmadı, umursamadılar. Rezil bir servis, şu ana kadar yaşadığım en kötü tecrübelerden biri. Ne bir manzara, ne rahat bir yatak, ne geniş bir oda, be kahvaltı, ısınmayan bir oda….Fiyatı çok daha düşük çok daha iyi oteller var bölgede. Asla tercih etmeyin.!!

Çalışanlar çok tatlı, güler yüzlü, ve işlerini severek yapıyorlar çok belli. İki gece kaldık. Pazar günü ki kahvaltı çok güzeldi fakat pazartesi günü olan biraz eksikti. Ona rağmen bütün değerlendirmelere tam puan verdim. Fiyatına göre performansı gerçekten yeterli.

The hotel is super super pretty! Its the oldest cave hotel in uchisar! The breakfast was so good and endless options, the location is very unique and you can walk around in the morning! The greenery of the hotel is beyond and in the morning you can see the balloons from your room. The room was a bit small but super cozy and different. The staff was very friendly and maybe sometimes too friendly ( a bit flirty) since we were two girls alone. But they are also very helpfull and they speak fluent english so they made communication super easy and they have multiple services and programs for your stay, they accommodate you with everything you need

The hotel is more three star than four.
The location is excellent for visit to Cappadocia.
Our room had the best vista from the Lobby floor which is the highest of three floors.
We enjoyed use of the spa, but did not enjoy the inability to provide separate facilities for male and female.
There was a balcony with a table and chairs.

The service given by two members of staff, Ahmet the manager and Mehmet at reception

Our room was nice and had a great view. We stayed for 4 nights. One night at 3:30 in the morning a guest from one of the tours decided to sit outside our room at talk on his cell phone. After I was awake I had to get up and tell him to get out of there. I mentioned this to staff and the manager but the manager but the manager didn’t speak any English. I told them it was a bad idea to put a bench right outside the door of our room. I recommended that they put a sign to be quite or no cell phones, etc. At least remove that bench. The rooms were not sound proof so you could hear a lot of noise and the doors made a lot of noise.

Breakfast buffet was included but was not good. We eat the dinner buffet one night. It was terrible like bad buffet style cafeteria food.

We booked the hot air balloon ride with the hotel. When we booked they told us that all the balloon companies were owned by the same person and the same person who owned the hotel. We left the hotel at 5:25 am and proceeded to pickup 12 other people. When we arrived at the balloon launch site it was late and there were no good spaces to launch the balloon so we had to drive around to another spot which was again another tour of the village and past our hotel again. We were in the bus from 5:25 until after 7:00 am for a 10 minute drive. We were supposed to be up in the air for sunrise but we were still driving in the bus at sunrise. We complained to the hotel. No reply. In air only 30 mins. Avoid Atmosfer Ballons

This a beautiful hotel with lovely staff and the perfect location. The view over the Goreme valley is a perfect backdrop Tom wake up to each morning. The added surprise of balloons in the sky at daw night adds to the magic of the hotel. The overall atmosphere is calm.

Well maintained quiet cave and courteous staff!!

Lovely and quiet cave hotel with all facilities...spa is amazing. Weather usually does not allow u to use outdoor pool, so it’s better to use the indoor one with Turkish bathing facility. The only drawback is that there is no place to go around...u need to drive down to Gerome to eat n market surfing. Another point is room are quite small.

It was such an amazing hotel. I arrived early in the morning and check in time was 14pm. They checked me in early because, which was so amazing.
The staff are great and always at hand to help. Great customer service.
They booked all my tours and didn't have any issues at all.
I was traveling solo, so security was important to me. I left safe at the hotel and knew there was always someone at the hotel in case of anything.
I will go there again.

Can’t go wrong with Uchisar Kaya

Uchisar Kaya is a favorite. Catch the shuttle from the airport and check in is always smooth. Amazing food at their restaurant. Massive breakfast buffet and dinners are all fresh and delicious. An unbeatable view of the valley and hot air balloons floating above early in the morning. It was too cold to swim in the pool but it’s refreshing in summer. The Turkish bath is huge and well staffed. The gardens are impeccable. Hope to see you another year!

It has a beautiful view to the Uchisar Valley. Hotel room and lobby was very clean and beautiful. Only downside is that this is not a Cave Hotel, so don't expect Cave type rooms, those I believe you can find in Goreme. Overall, its good hotel in the midst of Uchisar valley with Beautiful Views.

Language Barrier is an issue overall, but the Manager EMRE TOK is amazing. He is a very Nice and Helpful Guy. He responded to my emails, answered all my questions in a timely manner, booked my Hot Air Balloon and Airport Transfers.
Emre, Thank You for being so Helpful.

Wake up with Balloon View

Clean rooms, all staff are available including toothbrush comb hairdryer refrigerator air-condition, slippers and etc. Bed was enough comfortable. Breakfast was enough nice. Pool is not small, its not for sports, but that is a additive value for those coming back from a tour under sun.
I was in 3rd meaning in the highest floor. Those rooms on 3rd floor have small but nice balconies and this is important. You may leave the balcony door open. Because around 5:45 you will
Hear the sound of baloons pushing flame and air “whooooooo” like and wake you up. With sleepy eyes you will go balcony and will not believe in tour eyes. There will be at leas one baloon full off people
Passing in front of you. And many will follow. The hotel is looking directly to a valley like a castle on the top. Pigeon valley is so amazing view in front and the balloons pass through. I would say nothing to do around hotel and you have to go to \"Goreme\" and around to dine and entertain yourself at night. But after a tiresome tour usually u eat and want to sleep early. This hotel is nice for it. And when you wake up early here the balloon show is in front of your bed. No need to go somewhere. I liked that old style but clean hotel. It is also famous with some old Turkish movies and some writers stayed there in its long history.

Beautiful Uchisar Kaya

Uchisar Kaya is always a joy! The Staff is helpful and attentive and that's with a 1 am arrival.
The view is unparalleled from the balcony rooms next to the valley and you can wake up early to watch the colorful balloons float in the morning sunrise.
The breakfast buffet is always fresh and the chef and the many kitchen attendants make sure everything is displayed immaculately. There are a variety of hot foods and salad and fruit bar as well as a cheese and fresh bread table. Hot tea and coffee are available and if you don't want to leave the view in your room there is in room dining.
The Pool grounds are beautiful. Chaise lounge and chill house music after noon. Cherry, plum, and juniper trees scatter the property and delightful grapevines and roses everywhere making a haven for birds of all kinds and butterflies.
In the room linens and towels are fresh and the housekeeping is on point.
I will always return to stay at Uchisar Kaya.

Great Hotel!

Really enjoyed out stay at Uchisar Kaya Hotel. Stayed in room 343, We had an amazing, unobstructed view overlooking Pigeon Valley/Uchisar castle and really enjoyed afternoon relax in the Spa. The staff are extremely friendly and really go above and beyond. They were prompt in booking activities such as quad tours. The rooms aren't very sound protective, so you can hear a lot from the neighbouring rooms, in particular in bathroom.

Lovely Kaya

Uchisar Kaya is an excellent property in Uchisar overlooking the Pigeon Valley. The views from the rooms are stunning. Clean linens and a lovely private terrace shows the balloons rising early in the morning. The breakfast buffet is huge and varied. The Chef puts on an excellent dinner buffet in the evenings as well. Beautiful pool and manicured grounds. Roses, cherry trees, and so many birds. The town of Uchisar is quiet and charming with beautiful sites, hikes, and wonderful shopping. Cappadocia is safe and the people are welcoming. I will visit again and again.

Uchisar Kaya an unparalleled view!

Uchisar Kaya is all about the view! The hotel looks into the stunning Pigeon Valley with its caves and ruins and leads up to Uchisar Castle and the Cappadocia steppes beyond. Many mornings 100 colorful hot air balloons can be seen dipping into the valley. The scene is surreal and truly breath taking.
The property includes an impeccably cared for garden with roses of every kind, cherry trees, and manicured lawn. A large swimming pool is surrounded by tables and chaise lounge. The pool is sparkling clean. The rooms are very small but each has a generous balcony with chairs and table to enjoy the view, linens and towels are clean and the water is hot. The housecleaning staff does an excellent job. The breakfast and dinner buffets were a big surprise. Quality. The kitchen staff certainly takes pride in their jobs. The dining staff were professional but not overly warm. The property boasts a spa and turkish bath which I visited but did not take. The Balinese women working there are a ray of sunlight in the dark interior spa. The only reason I give the service a 4 in this overwhelmingly cross the board 5 hotel is because of the welcome. Check in was just kind of chilly and no offer to help me with my bags. Maybe because I was an Internet booking? Hey sometimes we have an off day, but first impressions are everything.

We arrived very late at the hotel, the front desk offered us drinks and some late snacks.
The next morning when we saw the view from our balcony it was a breath taking view .
The hotel staffs was great, they are friendly and everyone speaks English .
The SPA is very nice and is open until midnight ,

Very nice hotel overlooking a stunning view .

My husband and our friends had enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful but some of them can't speak English. The hotel facilities are good eg swimming pool and sauna . Loads of choices for breakfast. Good location, loads of interesting places to visit and locals are friendly and accommodating .

Ignore the hotel appreciate the views

This is a situation where you are paying for the views and location - which are truly amazing. The hotel itself is actually pretty old and I would have to say a bit run down. I was lucky enough to have a room with a balcony that overlooked pigeon valley, however the gaps around the balcony door ensured that the room was constantly cold regardless of any heating. The furniture and bedding are pretty old and dated not well designed or thought out for comfort. The service here is not the greatest, they seem to cater to a lot of tour groups and their focus disappointingly is only focused in their comfort and needs which is somewhat of a disappointment. There's not really anywhere else to eat so you are pretty much stuck eating with tour groups in the restaurant shame they only produce mass rubbish.
The thing that redeems this hotel in my opinion is the fact that you can stand on your balcony before sunrise and watch the balloons make their way down the valley to finally fly over the hotel it's a gobsmacking spectacle.

It is a very good property with all facilities. Has both outdoor and indoor pool, Turkish hammam, spa, shopping options. It is very close to Uchisar castle and Pigeon Valley which is one of the attractions of the city. Daily fruit basket for guests is good. They can organize shuttle booking for airport transfer and daily sight seeing tours. Hotel manager Mr. Y Onder Ciklin was very helpful to us in organizing our trip and excursions.

The hotel was beautiful, with a lovely view of the valley. The staff was excellent. The food at the hotel was not great, but we were too hungry to go hunting elsewhere for lunch, and the rest of the town was a little too desolate to go out after dark. I recommend if you are going to eat at the hotel, to just go for the buffet - the a la carte menu was expensive and not well prepared. Otherwise, we made use of the spa, which was small but pleasant. We were also please with the \"extras\" we received, which may have been due to it being the low season (complementary spa pass and fruit basket). The hotel was also good about making shuttle arrangements to the Kayseri airport.

I made this reservation based 100% on Hotel.com reviews. I was concerned, because the price seemed very low. My family of 4 arrived at 11pm after a late flight. The kids were hungry and the kitchen made a delicious bowl of pasta for 10TL or $5. The entire hotel -- rooms, bathrooms, pools, grounds, restaurant -- was immaculate. Huge breakfast buffet was delicious. Staff could not have been more friendly and one person with good English was available at all times. They made ballooning reservations, rented us a car and got us a great tour guide. The outdoor pool seemed to be filled with particularly clean and fresh water that my kids commented on -- also, the immaculate grounds were excellent for hide and seek! The indoor pool was great and clean with nice staff. The town of Uchisar is the most scenic in Cappadoccia, with a great natural castle to explore and amazing views of the Pigeon Valley -- a great place to hike. There are a number of high end restaurants within walking distance and a great Pizza place on the corner. The Hotel offers amazing views and good, free wireless. There are a couple of nice hotels in Cappadocia that offer rooms for 2-3 times the cost of Kaya -- the only advantage I noticed was that the rooms were a bit more luxurious. The rooms at Kaya are a bit small, but for a family trip, two rooms here gives you access to all the charms and comfort you'll need!

We spent 3 days in this hotel to see Cappadoccia area. The hotel has a very good location with a wonderful view. It has been carved in to the rocks and located on a very beautiful valley. We had our breakfast and dinner in the hotel during our stay and found that the food was delicious. The hotel staff was very friendly and kind.
We stayed in the area several times and tried some other hotels. We found that Uchisar Kara Hotel was the best. The hotel rate is very reasonable for its' quality and offers.

Breathtaking views, good food and warm service

Absolutely charming hotel and had a great experience right from the smooth and efficient check-in. After a quick explanation of the facilities, sight-seeing options and other things-to-do we were taken to our nice corner room on the 3rd floor with a beautiful view of the pigeon valley.

Right from the first meal we ordered as soon as we took and shower and freshened up, which was beautifully served in the attached balcony (along with a complimentary fruit platter), everything was as you would expect. Rooms are a little small but nothing to complain about and are done quite nicely from the inside. Lighting options could have been slightly better in the room. There is no dedicated concierge but the reception is extremely helpful. We rented a car in the city and the hotel also provides free parking for guests.

Service levels are very good across the board and even though most of the housekeeping staff doesn't speak English, you can route your request through the reception and it is attended to promptly.

We also went for their comprehensive spa/hamam services and it was a delightful experience. Definitely worth it to go for their 'luxury' package which is discounted for guests as well.

Overall, would highly recommend this property for a nice and reasonable stay in Cappadocia.

Oda temizdi sorun yok, ancak klima sıcak modda çalışmıyordu teknik ekipten Metehan bey elinden gelenin fazlasını yaparak her konuda yardımcı oldu tertemiz bir insanmış kendisi teşekkür ediyorum. Resepsiyon da bizi karşılayan Anıl bey gayet kibar, diksiyonu muhteşem ve her konuda ayrıntılı bilgi vererek yardımcı oldu teşekkür ediyorum. Yemek konusunda açık büfe olmasına rağmen bizim beklentimizin çook altında oldu maalesef köfteler pişmemişti mesela mezeler ve tatlı hariç yemek vasattı. Genel olarak memnun kaldık diyebilirim.

Kahvaltısı güzeldi.
Akşam yemeği çeşitliliği azdı.
Ses yalıtımı var şeklinde yazıyor ama yan odadaki her konuşulan şeyi duyduk.
Akşam hiç rahat uyuyamadık. Bütün sesler odanın içerisindeydi.
Çocuklar hep koridorda koşturdu kapıları çarptılar sürekli sabah akşam görevliler hiç uyarmadı sabah akşam öyleydi.
Yatak inanılmaz rahatsız ve gıcırtılıydı.
Uyuyamadığımız için otelden saatinden önce ayrıldık.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und die Instandhaltung war nicht optimal. Das Restaurant hatte Kantinenatmosphäre, tägl. wurden mehrere Busse voll Touristen dort bewirtet. Die Zimmer sind klein und auch das deluxe Zimmer war nicht grosszügig.Das Hallenbad war zu kühl, bei der Sauna schloss die Tür nicht.Insgesamt war es dem Preis ( 139/ Nacht) enttäuschend und nicht angemessen

Çok kötü bir deneyimimiz oldu. Çift kişilik oda da çift kişilik yatak istememe rağmen tecrübesiz ve bilgisiz çalışanlardan dolayı çok kötü bir gün geçirdik. Yatak rezil iki tek yatağın saçma sapan arası boşluklu bir şekilde birleştirip elimdeki bu oluyorsa bu iptal edemem ben siz hotels arayın ne demek. Özellikle giriş yaparken belirtmeme rağmen beni geçiştiren personel zorunlu o otelde konaklamamı sağladılar. Özellikle sistemden çift kişilik yataklı odayı seçiyorum ona rağmen bana zorla tek tek yatağı veren bir resepsiyoncuları vardı. Hiç memnun olmadığım bir tecrübe oldu.

Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf Wunsch wird das Zimmer sofort gereinigt. Kleinr Parkplatz vor Ort. Auto wird aber vom Personal auf einen ca. 100m entfernten Parkplatz gefahren und bei Bedarf wieder geholt!! Frühstück und Abendessen in sehr reichlicher und guter Auswahl. Allerdings hatten wir \"Blick zum Tal\" gebucht mit Balkon,bekommen ein Zimmer mit Blick zum Pool, Balkon 1qm. Hotel war aber ausgebucht.
