Room has not been cleaned, fan in the bedroom hasn't be cleaned for at least 5 years. The same as the fan over the shower, there hairs from the guests before on tiles and bench in the bathroom, shower & bathroom needs a deep clean to remove the dirt. The air-conditioning is in a window high above the sink in the bathroom which you can't turn on unless you are 7 foot or stand on a chair. Towels are so thin from use don't dry yourself properly. On arrival the person was very nice but did not give me the wifi password and it was not in the information book. I would not stay there again. I took photos if you want them.

Dusty surfaces. There are some bugs - tiny spiders, ants, moths etc in the room but the motel does provide the room with a can of insect spray in case you need it. We did travel during summer so maybe that's a factor. Recommend to bring wipes for surfaces but as a road tripper, you should have those with you anyway. Checkin process was super easy even though we arrived late the first night.

I stayed twice in one week, two different rooms. This might be the best Leongatha had to offer, but that's not saying much. Stay at one of the pubs for value for money, or another town. One ply toilet paper. Worn out towels. Ants in the bathroom. Smoke detector didn't work when I burnt the toast.

excellent stay for two nights on a work trip, cheap, no frills stuck in the 70's but thats the charm of the place. reception was quick and painless, was left alone my whole stay which i love, spent my time eating and sleeping. great to catch up on sleep :-)

Either needs urgent work done...yes, it's old..or a bulldozer....went to use toaster for brekky...filthy. Ants everywhere.... can't say where they came from but ended up in our clothes etc. I guess we got what we paid for..it had been discounted...but there appears to be little choice in Leongatha

Structurally, it was a standard old-style 1960s motel room. It was clean and bright, and it happened to be well-heated ahead of our arrival on a very cold 2 degree night in June, and it was well-sealed, with no draughts. There were electric blankets on both beds in our twin room and spare blankets and pillows in the wardrobe. The beds were good and I slept better there than I had in weeks at home. There were cups, glasses and wine-glasses, and milk in the fridge. It was situated on the far edge of town, on the road to Meeniyan and was therefore very quiet, with little traffic driving past. It had a view over to the rolling hills that are so picturesque around here. The owner, Ian, was very easy to deal with.

While the bed was clean and comfortable, the whole place looks as if it’s stuck in the 70’s. The towels are so threadbare I’d say they’re also from that era. In need of a good updating and general tidy-up, as there was a lot of cobwebs in my room, despite it being full booked last night, would have been worth a go-around and de-cobweb. It’s alright for a 1 night stay if passing through, especially if just one person travelling for work.

I had a room @ the front of the motel & it has a beautiful view to the west where you could view the sunset etc. The front garden (which my room open on to) is beautiful with a particularly big tree. The room itself was functional & had all the things you could require.

Walkable to town centre. Some lovely eateries. The room we stayed in needed a bit of TLC. Our shower screen didn’t work and a tap dripped all night in the sink as we were unable to turn it off. On the plus side when we arrived it was very organised and we were able to access our room early.

I get that this was not a 5 star facility, however, the beds can definitely do with a substantial increase in the comfort and quality. I’m always surprised to find stiff and uncomfortable beds in motels. After all, that’s what a motel is right? A place to sleep..!!!

Turned up at 14:30 only to find reception closed and a note on the door showing what number room we were in. Go to the room only to find another couple in there. Called reception they were half an hour away. Arrived & spoke to the couple in what was meant to be our room, mixed communication, we get asked if we would take their room instead because “all the rooms were the same”. I had paid for an upgraded room in my booking but felt I didn’t get that. The room smelled, carpet was stained, woke up to things crawling on us & a spider coming down from the ceiling fan. Room very outdated & run down.

The room was unrenovated, the shower base filthy black, the toilet seat rough to sit on due to age. Couch in the room was dirty and under the bed there was a used cup and a inhaler of some sort as well as mountains of dirt. For over $100 it was of a very poor standard.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating towards a late check-in. The heater was on in our room at arrival. Facilities were as expected for price paid, old but in working condition. Room was mostly clean but attention not given to small details e.g. dust on top of light switches, cobwebs in toilet. Overall I was happy with our experience of staying overnight as a half way point in our travels.

We travelled here to stay 1 night with a 2 year old and a 3 month old. We got the twin room which has a single bed and a double.
Check in was easy and the staff were friendly.
Both our kids are in cots and there was enough room for a pram, portacot, a little space to play and room for our bags.
It’s close to town but the footpath ends just before the motel so I failed at trying to walk from town back to the motel.
Room was clean fresh. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but we still got a good sleep.
All in all, was great for a 3-star motel and for a short stay with a young family. We would stay here again.
