We booked this hotel because the photos made it look clean and comfortable, and the free breakfast was a nice bonus. When we arrived, it was late and dark, and since we had never been to this location before, we honestly thought the pictures might have been misleading because the front building looked older. However, we quickly realized that the lodging we booked was actually located in the back, and the photos were completely accurate.

Our stay ended up being wonderful. Our room was conveniently located right across from the breakfast area, which we really enjoyed. The breakfast had a great variety of options including egg bites, hash browns, make-your-own waffles, coffee, cereal, toast, yogurt, and more. Our favorite part was definitely the waffles!

The room itself was very nice. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. We truly felt at home during our stay.

Thank you for making our stay so comfortable. 10/10 — we would definitely recommend staying here!

entry way, bright, welcoming, freshly painted. all interaction with staff was met with courtesy, interest. room, excellent lighting, spacious, quiet, shower especially inviting. breakfast was to our taste, a variety of appealing items, just right for the road trip ahead. more than adequate parking. a very positive choice, would highly recommend to family and friends. will be back.

We stayed here as part of a road trip, and it was lovely! We got in late, and we were still easily able to check in. We were able to use the fridge and microwave in the room to heat up and store some snacks. The breakfast in the morning was great! Everyone who works there seemed lovely from the interactions we had - very kind, friendly, and helpful.

The staff was horrible, I was told the pool was open till late then once I went in 15 minutes to 10 a short bald man ran in cursing an telling us we can’t be in there and it’s closed then later when I tried to buy snacks he brought up that my colleague gave him a bad review and wouldn’t let me pay cash or debit for the snacks, would not recommend staying here, it’s far away from places down town and the room had hairs all over the bathroom

A bit of false advertising with this motel. It's an older place with a new build in behind it, but only the new build is show online. Registration is done in a separate building, which is fine, just unexpected. The room itself was good, the bed was comfortable and clean. There were signs of either misuse or poor carpentry skills...scuffs on the wall, towel rack pulled off then replaced, shower curtain rod not attached properly...but nothing that would stop me from staying again, just surprising for a newer build. Breakfast was good, a nice selection, friendly staff. Overall, not bad

I’ve been staying at the Travelodge in Cochrane for years for snowmobiling trips. Stayed several times in the old motel, then had two stays at the new motel in the back. This January 2026 was the third time I’ve stayed in the new building in the back and sadly it has gone downhill. We arrived to find the towel rack in our room, broken and hanging off the wall. It was reported, but no one ever came to fix it. We were there for four days. When housekeeping came on day two and three all they did was take the garbage and recycles. The beds were not made, nor were the towels, shampoo, or soaps replaced. Continental breakfast used to be fantastic! You would have a full hot breakfast: eggs, hashbrowns, and some kind of meat. Plus, bread, bagels, treats, and fruit. This year the only thing provided for hot breakfast was hashbrowns on day one, day two were these weird little egg bites, and day three were the same egg bites. Never any protein: Sausage, bacon. In the new build noise has always been an issue as well, you could hear everything! The room next-door, the hallways, and the parking lot. The noise used to be the only issue with the place, everything else was great. But it seems now after a few years, they’re struggling with maintaining the rooms, and while they say they offer continental breakfast it’s pretty sad. One great thing about this place though is the location. Right next-door to a gas station, Little Caesars, and A&W.

Overall it was ok, especially for the low price. Breakfast was really basic - no whole wheat bread. The microwave made a buzzing sound that woke me up at 4:30am, and there was a strong soapy fragrance in the room that I was really aware of the whole first night.

When we booked the room I was surprised the newer build was in the back behind the other building, was humorous when you roll in at 12 AM in the middle of the night. Room was pleasant, parking was accessible, and overall I enjoyed my brief stay.

This property is beside a major highway but room was still quiet.
I like the air conditioner fan on for air circulation. The only issue is that, as it was a window unit, the curtain hung over the air flow, and propping the curtain open left a view into the room from the parking lot.

We stayed one night during a long road trip and needed to stop for the night in Cochrane. The front desk attendant was friendly but was bare foot and kept running to a back room? It seemed odd. The hotel is a bit confusing too. There is a \"motel\" style building in front, and behind that is a newer \"hotel\" building. After booking I noticed one of the pictures of the room indicated and outside access entry. I did not feel that this would be a safe choice so I called to inquire and was told I could request an \"interior\" room? If I hadn't called to ask would we have been given an interior room or a cheaper, older exterior room? Who else would know to do that? The newer hotel is very obscured in behind and it's not visible so I doubt anyone would know it's there. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, large TV. Complimentary breakfast was actually very good....
make your own waffles, egg bites, fruit, yogurt, juices, and good coffee for the road. There were mouse traps all over the place so it was a bit off-putting to eat with a mouse trap at your feet. Overall, not the worst place we've stayed. The price was good for a one night stay when you need to rest for the night.

This small little town was a stop before I head into Quebec and while a short stay a good portion of the rooms are in the brand new area ( as of 2025), which meant spacious and new design/materials! Great value for the price. Not the best sidewalks in the area but I still walked to some food places near by.

Staff were great and trying to be very accommodating when something didn’t work in the first room they moved us to another. The back building with newer rooms has the breakfast room. When busy that building has room doors can be heard slamming shut by other guests. No wash cloths are provided but 3 sets of hand & bath towels are in a double queen room. The other amenities worked well only their furnishings need a little attention but still look newer. Great price for the 2 night stay!

Beautifull place to stay in. Just don't get a room facing the gas station because you will have transport trucks just outside your window with their vehivles running all night long. The television was operated by internet and kept disconnecting. Very disruptive will watching the news and weather channels. Breakfast was mainly potatoes with no sausage, bacon, or even eggs. Wish they had something else other then potatoes to offer. Other then that the staff is wonderfull.

There is 2 building the old one, motel style wewere given a room in that one. Ac sporadically worked,window cell dirty,rusty heater covers. Breakfast was in back building which is the newer building. I asked that receptionist why we had a room in the old decrypt one she replied that it was for us to ask to be moved. Nevr agaib. I must learn from this bad experience.

While the price was adequate for the room offered, the walls were less than ok to keep the sounds of the next room quiet. TV, snoring, sneezing etc: All heard. The included breakfast was one of the least favourites, I’ve ever encountered. Truly unremarkable. I’d take a pass on this place next time. But: Just my opinion.
