My complaints about hotel is no parking for guest . Looking for parking in location with garbage depot along with airline food service makes parking a challenge. My other gripe was the smallest of the room and how packed in furniture felt . It was clean and up to date .

But I just want to particularly mention about the receptionist who checked me in, the girl with the highlighted hair, I feel like her attitude needs to be a lot more professional, and customer centric. Maintaining eye contact and a friendly personality should be a 101 as long as the reception area is concerned. Otherwise very good experience.

I was very hesitant to book here. Some of the comments and reviews were not the best. I decided to book a stay to have my own experience. The rooms were nice, bed was very comfortable and clean. I have no complaints at all. I’ll be staying here again next week.

I called the hotel and asked if a shuttle could be sent to Federal Circle, where I stood waiting. The person I spoke to said a shuttle was on the way there. About 15 minutes later I watched as the shuttle drove past me. The driver didn't even get out and ask if anyone was waiting for the Comfort Inn shuttle. The next shuttle stopped at Federal Circle, but it ate up almost an hour of time that I could have spent at my hotel (it was 9pm). At about 6am, someone knocked on my door and asked if I heard an alarm. I told them that I hadn't and went back to sleep. That was another nuisance. And the shuttle driver who drove me to the airport in the morning was rude, didn't say thank you or wish me good travels. I will never stay at this place again.

Had to stay here for one night after a cancelled flight, paid for out of my own pocket! Absolutely horrible. The A/C did not work. Even after calling and being “serviced” the room was hot, humid and muggy all night. Called to ask for a fan and were told they didn’t have any. Pillows (if you want to call them that) were as flat as the blankets, if not more. Asked for extra and they said they would bring some right up. Hours later, no pillows. Called again and were told they were out of pillows.

Located in an industrial area. Appears rather run down and the sound insulation towards other rooms/hallway and outside, is very poor. Staff appears non-motivated and not especially willing to go the extra mile re customer service. Other options yield significantly better value for money.

Met a friend from Vegas, I'm in Missouri, for the weekend ending Aqueduct's last weekend of racing after 132 years. Chose Comfort Inn for our brief stay because of ease in getting back and forth to JFK (included), and they were spot on with their established pick-up / drop times. The front desk also hooked us up with a Rockaway Taxi driver that virtually became our private driver around Howard Beach anytime between 1800 - 0600hrs, for 3 nights! If you make it there, please hit The Rail Bar & Grill. Great place for a few dirty martinis and some Champagne of Beers from a ice cold bottle. No food, so mind the \"Bar\" reference. They're across the street from the JFK - Howard Beach air train. If you go. please say hi to Luna for me (bartender's pup).

The bathroom at Comfort Inn appeared to be recently renovated, was nice. No complaints about the mattress either, comfortable. I actually liked the pillows, not so overwhelming large or plump like or so many other places.

Continental breakfast was very good and well attended by staff.
All staff were kind, no complaints at all, would book with them again in a heartbeat.

If you need a JFK airport hotel, the Comfort Inn is definitely a good choice. In my experience, the shuttle service was great, and the room was clean and quiet. The early breakfast was much appreciated. Thank you so much. I’ll book again whenever I have to meet family at JFK. I’d flown from Denver, and was thankful to be able to rest and continue with my plans for the next day.

This was the worst place!!!!!
First of all, there’s no Airport pick up, you have to take the skytrain to the end of the line get off and walk outside for a couple minutes to get to the place where the Shuttle bus picks you up!!
VERY INCONVENIENT
Then, we got there at about 11:30 AM and check-in was not until 3 PM.
They had available rooms but you would have to pay extra which I’ve never had to do before!
There is no pool!
There is not one restaurant where you can walk and get something to eat!!!!!
All the restaurants to get something to eat at where at least $12 each way by Uber!!!!!!
We finally were let in our room at 3 PM.
We ordered Chinese food to be delivered.
We had a flight out at 11 in the morning so we left in the morning.
I would never stay in this hotel again!!!!

We had a very pleasant stay. The immediate hotel property was clean, and well-maintained common areas. Everything felt cared for and welcoming. There is a sanitation facility across from the hotel, but there were NO remnants of bad odors outside the hotel and we were there during hot summer weather.

The staff were outstanding—friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Their attentiveness and willingness to assist offered a positive experience.

My only critique is that the airport shuttle service does not begin until 5:00 AM. Travelers with very early flights should plan accordingly, as we needed to arrange an Uber for a 4:00 AM pickup to make our 6:30 AM flight. While this was a minor inconvenience, it did not diminish the overall quality of our stay.

Overall, this is a very nice hotel with great accommodations and helpful staff. I would stay again and would recommend it to others, especially those who do not have extremely early departure times.

The reception staff were exceptionally courteous and professional, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived until my departure. The breakfast staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, creating a wonderful start to each day. The bar staff provided outstanding service and crafted some truly excellent drinks that I thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, the hospitality and customer service throughout my stay were outstanding.

Staff needed to be more considerate; I call at approximate 10:55 asking about the bus and letting the representative know that there were three of us who was on the AirTrain heading for the shuttle and would appreciate her calling the shuttle driver to wait for us but she stated that the last shuttle was at 11 pm. We had to catch a Uber. We ask about a shuttle for the next morning and was told that the shuttle for 5 o’clock was full, we needed to be on the latest 5 am shuttle for our 6:50 boarding flight.

Beds were very comfortable and had 2 firm pillowes and 2 soft pillows each. Noise from the hallway loudly spills into the rooms. As this locarion is near an international airport with arrivals at all times, your sleep experience may be helped if you use earplugs. We had difficulty with loud guests congregating for an extended period around the elevators at 3am - no fault of the hotel. Location is convenient for flights to/from JFK. Shuttle service is a little slow. We saw some drivers come by for pickups 2 or 3 times before our shuttle arrived even though the other hotels were in the same block. The complimentary breakfast was typical for this hotel chain. Rooms were generally clean but needed repair. Shower caulk was moldy, bathroom fixtures were loose, some rust in places,

Our flight was delayed and we didn’t arrive until 3:30am, so it was a relief that they have a 24/7 staff ready to check us in~

After several long days traveling with setbacks, delays, etc., it was refreshing to have such a streamlined experience with zero drama.

From the clear directions for the hotel shuttle, to check in and taxi request. The staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. There were also pre made grab and go breakfasts for early travelers.

The location of this property is rather unfortunate although it is quite close to the airport and they do have a shuttle. However, if you are catching an early morning flight that won’t be useful to you as their first shuttle leaves at 5 AM. The property is cleaned and well maintained the staff is friendly. There is no on-site parking unfortunately, so you will have to make other accommodations.

The staff is kind and welcoming and truly the gem of the business.
The property is in a rough area and the planes sound like they are landing on the hotel. I counted at about 90 to 150 seconds between planes for most of the evening. The pictures make it look better than it is. It is truly a place just to stay for flying out.
However, beds were comfortable and it is truly only minutes from the terminal.
