Our check in went smoothly, and the front desk attendant was nice. Our room was to be an accessible room and smoke free, and it wasn't on both counts. Our room smelled so much like smoke that it affected my breathing, even though there was a non-smoking room sign on the desk. Everything reeked of stale smoke. The carpet was dirty. There was food and crumbs under the mattress, when we lifted it up to look for bugs. The bathroom toilet broke and didn't flush well. The shower wasn't a walk-in, it was a tub. That's hard for someone who needs access to the shower. The tiny little shelf on the wall in the bathroom wasn't attached. The wall bar by the toilet was loose. The corners were dirty. When we called housekeeping to help with the toilet, they just walked right into the bathroom when my husband was getting ready - no announcement. The hallway carpet was dirty with something that was spilled and not cleaned up. The breakfast lady was rude when asked a question about one of the food items available. Overall, this was a very bad experience for my family. I always read the reviews before booking anywhere but this time the reviews failed me! If it wasn't WVU's graduation weekend and there was other availability, we would have packed up and left. If there was a way to get my money back, I would be asking for that!

The room was clean, outdated. There was a lid in threshold of the bathroom and room that I stubbed my tow on multiple times. The mini frig freezer was iced over. There was 2 USB outlets behind the lamp neither worked. It smelled like smoke even though it was non smoking and there was a cig burn on the comforter.

Just avoid this place… especially if travelling with kids.
The whole place smells terrible including the rooms. Carpets and furniture are dirty and run down. Exterior exits don’t lock so anyone can enter the hotel from any of the back entrances. Toilet flushed… sometimes. Just a dump. Didn’t see any crack heads or sketchy people so I guess that was the only plus.

Finally a great hotel at an affordable price. Clean, modern, a real breakfast, eggs, sausage, waffles, juice, coffee. Plenty of towels. A spare roll of toilet paper so you don't have to worry. Even a box of tissues. Great hotel!!

Old, tired, run down hotel. The door hinges were loose so it was very hard to close the door. The sofa was stained so I didn’t want to sit on it. Staff were nice. It was cheap so you get what you pay for.

Room was fairly clean definitely could use some paint and new carpet through out the hall. Toilet was super low to the ground and wouldn't flush properly, shower head was way too low for husband he had to bend down to wash his hair. Staff was incredibly nice and pleasant, breakfast was slim and not much to it but we made it work

Wonderful staff - polite and professional.
Property is falling apart and the owner should be ashamed. There are cracks, visible seems in drywall in ceiling, patched holes (and unpatched holes) in walls, the sink had a crack, the toilet clogged, the HVAC was old and loud. We had to lift the door to get it to close.
Some of these issues exist in each Quality Inn I have stayed in the last few years. No real quality left in Quality Inn.

For the price, this is a safe and clean location to stay at. The staff was friendly and helpful, just what you would expect from this class of hotel. The only minor gripe I had was the condition of the shower, which had an "interesting" repair done to the showerhead that did not inspire confidence, but it was functional. Other than that minor problem, my stay was pleasant. Parking is pretty good and you will be asked to provide your license plate number, so snap a picture of it before you check-in if you don't have it memorized.

In summary, this is a decent budget option that I can definitely recommend for the solo traveller. If I am in the area again, I certainly will be considering this as an option.

We had booked a smoke free room. The first room might have said it was smoke free. But it smelled like people were smoking in it. I went back up to the desk to ask and the gentleman at the counter was more than happy to move our room.

Room was clean, but very outdated. If staying, you will see chipped paint on the walls and scratched up furniture. We stayed 1 night, and at 9:00am the workers knocked on the door. My daughter was in the shower, so I did not open the door. I simply stated “We are fine and will check out before checkout time.” It was odd. The plus side, the mattress and pillows were comfy! Convenient location from I-79.

Our first room had dead bugs on the carpet wall. The hallway was very dirty, like it had been vacuum in weeks. They said they have contactors staying there & that was the reason. I asked for an extra towel to set on the furniture & that was a major ordeal. All said and done. The sheets were clean and it was place to lay my head & the room was cheap. So if your looking for a place to just sleep and go. You got it.

Clean and comfortable. A little run down. Carpet could use replacing. Light bulb out in bathroom. Breakfast had some hot options and stayed stocked. Morning staff was excellent and very friendly. Check in the night before wasn't as good. No one was at desk and rang bell multiple times. After about 10 minutes he showed up. Overall a good stay for the price.

This QUALITY INN was always a pleasure to stay at in the past.
The room I occupied smelled musty. The toilet would not flush. The bathtub drain was held open by a small empty shampoo bottle.
One of the wash cloths was unusable. It had some kind of hardened substance on it. It may had been washed but should have been thrown away.
The mattress cover had a substance on the side and had mold growing on it.

Basically, I was very pleased with my stay. Safe surroundings, comfortable bed, and the TV worked .
The only suggestion I have is that they bring in a carpet cleaning company. The dirty carpet was a real turn off. The free popcorn at night was a real treat, and the maid service was impressive !

This trip was my second time staying at this hotel. (5 days/4 nights)My first stay was great with no complaints. I like the area because of the nearby restaurants and easy access to the expressway. However, once we checked in, we noticed that the room had a slight smell and the carpet felt damp. The AC stopped working the next morning. We told the front desk and they promised to have it fixed. We got back late, tired and ready to go to sleep. The AC was not fixed! We ended up having to pack all our stuff back up and switch rooms. Mind you, we were traveling with a toddler and a six year old & it was incredibly HOT! The new room was also damp to the point that there was condensation on the walls. Even though I like the area and did have a previous pleasant stay, this trip was just a disappointment.

The staff was awesome, breakfast was great, bed/linens were as expected or better, the hotel was quiet, and housekeeping was great about providing fresh towels. The hotel smelled odd to the point that it lingered on my clothes and luggage. Room 209 reeked of sewer gas on my last stay, and the windows were locked shut. The left side stairwell reeks of garbage as well. Overall, the hotel requires some updating & repair, which is actively being done. Otherwise, my stay was pretty good.

They ran my credit card multiple times with the wrong expiration date causing it to decline. I was on the phone with the credit card company, they could see the error code. I finally used another card. Then they sent me to a room with no beds. Literally, the beds were totally off the frames and stripped and on the wall. The room itself was clean and well air conditioned but the common areas were very warm. It was cheap, but I don't think I will be back.

The front desk people I find are always so friendly. I stay here every time I I’m in WV. Seems like the new owners are working on upgrading this hotel. I find it safe, clean and overall an easy access to everywhere I need to be. I find it safe, well lite and overall I would recommend this hotel.
