Our stay was on Easter weekend, so the hotel was relatively busy. We had a poolside room with sliding glass doors. The glass was not clean, it appeared someone had placed a face against the window and smeared across the entire glass.

The staff has always been very nice and professional.


The bathroom door would not stay shut or lock and the shower was unique with either really cold water or really hot water, no in between.

We have stayed there for a couple years on Easter or Christmas time, it seems the maintenance isn't keeping up with the age of the hotel.

Loved the pool area. There was fun seating areas and lots of chairs and tables. Plus a room to play games and watch tv. Our whole family enjoyed staying and the kids had a ton of fun. We were able to order food from the restaurant and eat it in the pool area too. Which was great so the kids could still play.

Booked last minute while traveling through and needed a quick overnight stay. We were greeted by very friendly staff and even received a thoughtful doggie gift bag for our traveling pup, which was such a nice touch. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We didn’t have enough time to enjoy the restaurant or pool, but both looked inviting and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again.

This was an emergency stay. We could not keep driving in a snow storm and wanted to take shelter. We were so glad we did. We were also glad to have found this gem! Not the best, Not the worst

It was not my greatest hotel stay. I think some of the pictures used in the listing paint a brighter picture than what is ultimately provided.

The room was clean at a higher level, but the amount of stains in certain areas was a bit much. The lampshades had black spots throughout their fabric, and the tiles had some questionable spots as well.

The room had a fridge. However, no microwave, so saving any type of food items in the fridge is a waste, so plan your meals accordingly.

The bed.... Oh, where do I begin... I was in a King room, and the bed felt as though one side was made of Ironwood, and the other a slightly softer Spruce. Now I'm not a small fella, but I'm not huge/heavy enough to sink into a semi-decent mattress like I did here.

Now that you've heard the bad, there were a couple of good parts about the stay as well. The first, of course, being the staff! Everyone I interacted with was friendly and not afraid to socialize and interact with the guests at all.

The layout of the hotel is decent as well. There are a ton of doors into the hotel, so it's never a chore to get to your room. The access into the restaurant, The Green Mill, is part of the main lobby, so easy enough to get there as well. Also, the property access is simple and easy to get in and out of.

All in all, it wasn't my worst hotel experience, but I will be looking for other establishments next time I visit Fairmont.

The smell in the hotel made it hard to sleep. It gave me such a headach. My first night there was great the next 2 nights had me wanting to switch hotels or sleep in my car. The hotel was COLD. The hotel was generally fine. There were two issues I had. A) Having the room rate at $240 for the night was obscene. I get it was a busy time and had multiple events in the area. I paid to stay but will not pay again. B) Something in the room albeit sterile clean made my eyes puffy. I don’t have basic allergies.

The hotel had some electrical issues so they moved me rooms, which was totally fine. The staff you have is so kind and amazing. The only complaint I have was that there was an awful smell in the hotel and this could be from the electrical issue, but gave me the worst headache and made me throw up. However I had windows that opened and made a difference. Thank you guys for being awesome and putting me in an amazing room. Also the elevators are dirty and could use some cleaning.

I LOVED the heated pool. Everytime we stay at a hotel the pool is always freezing, not this one. It was great. Rooms were clean and quiet. Only complaint i have is the light right outside the room. The curtains didn't shut all the way so the hallway light shone in. But i just put my blanket on my face and called it good.

One night, could stay again

The people were friendly enough. There was no free breakfast and they took away the hot beverages before checkout. The bathrooms were not great.

There was nothing wrong about our stay. Room was just average. Over priced for the lack of service available. Beds were comfortable. Rooms are a little small.

Nice overnight stay

The front desk personnel were super nice and got me checked in right away. The room was clean and comfortable. I took a star off because my room smelled like dog/mold and I had to shut the heat off for the night because my allergies were acting up. I’m super allergic to dogs and kind of wish they would have rooms that don’t cater to animals. Don’t get me wrong I think it’s great they offer that service for pet owners but if I could book a room that I know didn’t have animals in it, I would have. Besides that, it was a great stay. The best was comfy and the room was clean!
