The hosts were amazing. Totally went above and beyond! I was offered to be driven to Omurayama. They also offered to drive me back but I opted for the bus (for the experience!) Also, I was super impressed by one of the female workers speaking so many languages! I'm also a super picky eater but the traditional breakfast was amazing. Last but not least, when I checked out I was given the offer to drive me to the station. They're just such lovely and kind people!

A great place to stay, I loved the TV room with full body massage chair (free) and the games including Go. The meals were delicious as were the local area Mikan oranges the proprietor put out for guests. I’m definitely returning to Hinodeya and highly recommend it.

Quaint and homey stay in a gorgeous area

We had a great time staying here, the staff was so friendly and helpful. Even during our a stay a typhoon hit and we were able to sleep soundly as they were well prepared. Not far from the train station or the coast it is easy to get lost in the greater Ito area.

Highly recommend

I had a very nice experience when having stayed at Hinodeya Ryokan with 2 nights. The place is very clean, with spacious quiet Japanese style room which can give you a very nice place to take rest. And I really enjoyed my stay in Izukogen. It is a lovely countryside place, with nice environment. The hotel owner is also very nice to provide pick up service and give free drive to nearby tourist spots.

I love the service provided here. Owner and staffs are so friendly and kindly. Even though the owner speaks a little English and I don't speak Japanese at all, but I can feel the passion and welcome from owner.

Exceptional service and wonderful stay

Best host/service ever! We stayed for one night and we were the only guests of the entire Ryokan. Although it is not a fancy modern hotel, it is traditional and extremely clean. The host Hiyoshi also offered to drive us here and there several times, making our trip much more convenient. The location is also near the Izu Kogen station, less than 10 mins walk. Several restaurants, drugstore (cosmetics and skincare) and a super market nearby which was awesome, we bought many delicious and sweet jap fruits there. For the price, service and cleanliness, definitely value for money. Highly recommend! Thank you Hiyoshi :D

Sweet Traditional Japanese Ryokan

Not an easy find from the train station less than 1km away, but so worth the 700yen cab ride!! We did not know when we would arrive, so did not bother to email ahead for free shuttle. Don't worry, you will find the train station from the hotel in <8min walk. I rarely fill these surveys, but Hiroshi and his family @ Hinodeya are awesome. We arrived direct from climbing Mt. Fuji (1h45min train) extremely tired and well before normal 1500 checkin, hoping we could cleanup and recover from Fuji. My partner and I were welcomed, checked in and on the way to respective baths within 10 min of walking into Ryokan. The bath area is... exactly what I was hoping for. I've been to many baths/Ryokans in the past (lived in Japan for a year) and this one is traditional, Hiroshi set us up with yokatas, showed us entire space (only 12 rooms big). We enjoy cycling and he was generous to loan us 2 bikes when available during our 3 day stay. Breakfast was traditional Japanese fair, served at 8am (western breakfast available). Hiroshi had time to drive us to restaurant, public onsen that he recommended (awesome with mudbath ~850yen).He is totally knowledgeable of where and how to go/do the entire Peninsula. Now, what to do... we went to 7 falls and it was as expected, beautiful, spent 4 hours roundtrip for 90min falls stroll. Later that day on bicycles we discovered in IzuKogen a fantastic 25km hiking trail with a great suspension bridge... all not 20 min bike ride from Ryokan. Enjoy local 1st!

Real Japanese Experience

This is a hidden gem. It is a very traditional Japanese room with real tatami. The room is extremely big for 2 people, or even 4. It has a little indoor balcony and an attached closet. Even though the bathroom is shared, it's extremely clean. The shower room is accompanied by the in-house hotspring. The hotel is also within 5 minute walking distance to a local hotsping place with different kinds of hotsprings. The hotel even offers a discount to the local hotspring place which makes it very affordable. The hotel is also close to most sightseeing places and JR station. The owner of the hotel even offers to drive us to the sightseeing place in the morning and drop us off to the JR station when we check out. Awesome experience and highly recommend!

Quiet, family-oriented traditional Japanese ryokan

The Ryokan is very close to the Izu Kogen train station, less than 10 min walk using the short cut. Anyway, they provides free pickup from the station which takes less than 5 min. The service
Was excellent and Tetsuya-san was kind enough to give us a ride to Ocean Park, Jogasaki coast of Isu Kaiyo Koen after our breakfast. He also recommended us to visit Mount Omuro which we visited by taking the bus #1 from Ocean Park. It was an awesome
and fulfilling trip. We really enjoy the warm hospitality during our stay at the ryokan and would gladly recommend prospective travellers to stay in this ryokan.

We loved staying here at Hinodeya, though unfortuantely we were just there for one night. The room was comfortable and very large by Japanese standards, the Japanese breakfast was delicious, and the staff really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommended!

An Authentic Experience

My wife and I loved this wonderful, small ryokan near Izu Kogen Station. The service is top-notch from the moment you walk through the door. Our second-floor room was quite large, with an entryway and two rooms. We were served iced green tea when we arrived and enjoyed our dinner from the local grocery at the chabudai (low dining table). The sentō (Japanese bath) is separated by gender, but they set us up in the smaller bath so we could relax together. And you get to wear yukata!

In the morning, they serve a traditional Japanese breakfast with fish, rice, miso and pickled vegetables in the dining room and then served coffee in the lounge. When we departed, the man at the front desk gave us a ride to nearby Mt. Omuro, saving us the bus fare to the top.

There's a small patisserie next door with excellent cake. Two grocery stores and a 7-11 are a short walk away as is the famous mud bath onsen and Izu Kogen Brewery.

Highly recommended for an inexpensive stay near the Jogasaki Coast.

Izu Kogen!

Hinodeya Ryokan was great. The owner was friendly and gave us rides back and forth to the train station. The accommodations were nice, the room was quite large, and there is a great sushi place just down the street, a great outdoor natural onsen down the street the other way. AND plenty of cool sites just a bus ride away. I recommend the suspension bridge and Mt Omuro!

Nice traditional Japanese ryokan with tatami rooms

Good way to immerse yourself in Japanese culture. Sleep on the floor with tatami mats and enjoy a traditional Japanese hot springs bath. Wear a Japanese yukata kimono to relax and enjoy. Eat the traditional Japanese breakfast for a small fee. It is worth it and will fill you up until lunch. There is a 15 minute walk to the train station. It is a major train station where the express trains all stop which is great. Please identify the train station for visitors as I got off at Ito station which was several train stations away and ran up my taxi bill. I was able to explore the Izu Peninsula due to the convenience of the location. The staff was very helpful in identifying locations to visit and even provided transportation to close by areas.

Great place with lovely owner

A slightly remote location in a small town but a nice traditional ryokan. Very very clean and the owner was incredibly helpful wanting to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The room had everything that I could want and more. This was the best place that I stayed. The bed was extremely comfortable though the pillow was not feathers and a little hard. The hotel is off of a main road but it is not that noisy. There is a small onsen open from 4-11pm and the owner offered to pick me up and drop me off at the nearby station. The station is about a 15 minute walk or less and there is a nearby convenience store. The hotel is located on a private railway line which is about 600 yen from Ito station which is as far as a JR pass allows then it is necessary to change but the train journey is very scenic along the coast and the trains are quite regular.

まるで文豪夏目漱石先生が執筆に滞在した様な良い雰囲気のお部屋でした。スタッフさんは親切で、送迎、翌朝は勤務先の伊豆高原別荘地にある施設まで送って頂き感謝の言葉もありません。朝食は由緒正しい日本の朝ごはんでとても美味しく頂きました。お風呂もとても良く、流石伊豆高原の単純アルカリ泉だなあと感激して入り熟睡出来ました。温泉ではないとご主人から翌朝暴露されお互い大笑いでしたが、私には良質の温泉と信じて疑いません。本当に素敵な一泊でした。また仕事ではない折に是非伺いたいと思っております。

検索したところ、伊東周辺で最も安い宿だったので予約いたしました。
滞在中コロナウィルス対策ということで、メールで簡易的なチェックインを前もってしておく必要がありました。
風呂の予約でもQRコードを使用した対応が必要となるため、スマートフォンは必須のようです。
風呂は大小１つずつ（合計２つ）あり、各２人、４人までの使用を想定しているようです。
1単位１５分での予約ができ、最大４単位（１時間）での予約が可能です。
ガスの音が非常にうるさいですが、それ以外の点では快適に使用ができました。

ラウンジには、コーヒーサーバー、湯の使用、マッサージ機等がセルフで使用できます。
アメニティも同様に、セルフサービスでの使用ができます。歯ブラシ、髭剃り、スキンケア用のクリーム等（そのほかもあり）とりあえず困ることはなかったです。
また、浴衣を使用することもできます。

朝食を利用しましたが、８：００～召し上がる形となります。和食を利用しましたが、焼き魚（アジ）が冷えてしまっておりましたが、基本美味しくいただくことができました。

接客は非常に丁寧で好印象でした。

大浴場大と小がスマホから予約して、家族で貸切できるのが良かったです。朝食は美味しくて、大雨の中、外に出かけないで食事を取れたのは良かったです。

家族経営で皆、自然で感じ良く、さりげない｡こちらの予定をマメに聞いてくれ近場なら車の送迎があるのは有難い。フロントの看板娘バーバから聞いたスーパー情報は役立った｡隣の本屋も楽しい｡今後、伊豆高原に行った時は、ここに泊まります｡駅近、コンビニ、飲食も充実してます。風呂も大、小あり予約制で良かった。

基本的に満足

昔ながらの旅館。温泉はこの時期だからか？貸切で予約制。ゆっくり浸かることもできて良かった。

立地もよく、歩いて食事は行けるし、非常に便利。写真は近くの日本料理屋のもの。

ただ、古い作りなので隣の声がかなり聞こえる。そのため、夜な夜な騒ぐ若者がおりそれはキツかった。

学生の休みなどを避ければ、かなりしっとり、ゆっくり過ごせると思う。

基本的には満足。

引越し時の利用

１５時のチェックインでしたが、電車の都合により早めに着いてしまいました。駅から電話にて問い合わせをしたところ、２時間も前でしたがご対応していただきました。
あいにくの雨で寒く、部屋に案内していただきとても助かりました。スタッフの方も全員親切です。
浴室は、こち込みにもありましたように大きなお風呂でびっくりしました。コロナとのこともありスマホで予約の完全な貸切風呂となり安心しました。
朝ごはんは予約をしておりませんでしたが、前夜にもかかわらず対応していただきました。
とてもおいしかったです。
また、機会がありましたら是非利用させていただきます。

荷物を預けた際に、テディベアミュージアムまで乗せていってもらえたのはありがたかったです。また、次の日も怪しい少年少女博物館とまぼろし博覧会まで送迎して頂きました。本当に助かりました。

部屋については、清掃が行き届いていないと感じることがありました(布団にゴミがついている等)。また、大浴場の更衣室の椅子に大量の髪の毛が落ちていて、少し嫌だなと感じました。仕方ないのかもしれないですけど…。

朝食、美味しかったです。値段も安く、送迎が何よりも有難かったです。ありがとうございました。また伊豆高原へ行くことがあれば利用しようと思います

非常開心能夠重臨這旅館，老闆很好，亦感激老闆曾經幫忙受傷的我，處理入醫院和住宿的安排。今年五月及八月，還新聘了兩位來自台灣的年青人 (懂日語/普通話/英語)，方便接待更多旅客。縮短翻譯的時間，讓旅客得到更貼心的服務。旅館距離車站不遠，老闆還抽時間接送旅客往來車站。

此次目的是到河津賞櫻花, 但河津住宿的價為相對較高, 選擇了搭電車到伊豆高原站住宿.
這間民宿離伊豆高原站不遠(走路10min),
如果不想走過去, 也可以加入老板的line或其他通訊軟體, 請他到車站載你,
房間相當的大, 且舒適, 早餐伙食雖然不像大飯店這麼豐盛, 但也絕對心滿意足,
老闆會協助旅遊, 例如告訴幫你查詢大室山的狀況, 甚至他會載你到景點 (我們去城崎海岸)
行李也可以寄放在民宿, 旅遊結束回到伊豆高原站時,
再請老闆把行李載給你, 整體是一趟舒適住宿和旅遊

Final de semana prolongado em família

Reservamos 2 quartos, um para a avó ficar tranquila, e outro para os filhos e família poderem se divertir (4 adultos e 4 crianças). Para a nossa sorte, o homem que toma conta da pousada foi muito prestativo desde a nossa chegada, indo nos buscar na estação, e levando a gente para vários pontos turísticos. Acabamos até abusando, pois pedimos o transporte mesmo depois do check-out, e mesmo assim ele se prontificou a nos levar e trazer. Não temos palavras para agradecer a gentileza! O quarto era espaçoso o suficiente para caber todo mundo e ainda sobrar um espaço para tomar um chá. Apesar de não ter banheiro privativo, no andar tinham 3 banheiros e pias com espelho, por isso não fez falta. O banho é na banheira de uso coletivo, o que para quem já está acostumado, não traz nenhum problema. Na sala de estar de uso comum tem uma cadeira de massagem magnífica, além de uma maquininha de café para se servir à vontade, muito bom! O café da manhã, eles te dão a opção de escolher o estilo tradicional japonês ou o ocidental, o que para as crianças ajudou. Para as outra refeições, eles deixam levar comida de fora, e pudemos fazer inclusive uma comemoração de aniversário de 2 integrantes. Tem um supermercado bem perto, além de uma loja de 100 ienes praticamente vizinha à pousada. Tem restaurantes por perto também, por isso a localização é muito boa. De modo geral, foi uma estadia maravilhosa, em grande parte pela hospitalidade que recebemos. Muito obrigado pelas caronas!

木造で居心地が良い旅館でした。
泊まった部屋は２階で８畳の部屋が２つありとてもゆったりと過ごせました。
お風呂は大小あり、大の方は洗い場が４つあり湯船は大人８人位ならゆっくり入れます。
小の方は洗い場が２つで湯船は大人３人位入れます。どちらも清潔に保たれている感じでした。
お風呂は２４時間入れます。
浴衣を無料で貸してくれます。各サイズあり子供用もあり子供も喜んでいました。
朝食は特に目新しくはありませんが、魚をメインに美味しくいただけました。
卵焼きは具が入った卵を自分で焼くスタイルで自分の好みの焼き具合が楽しめます。
１階のラウンジには無料でコーヒーが飲めます。
トイレは和式洋式あり清潔にされています。
従業員さんの対応も良く親切丁寧でした。
また泊まりたいと思わせます。
