Check in was quick and the staff was friendly and helpful. We are staying in the executive suite with kitchen. The room is clean and attractive, bathroom is spotless. The bed was very comfortabe. The only not-so-great feature is the pillows. I recommend bringing your own unless you like sleeping on extremely hard, extra thick pillows.

Cleaning lady was rude on the first morning practically demanding to clean before 830 am while my son was still sleeping. No cream and sugar in the room. Pots had no lids to cook with. Then we got no cleaning service at all on day two. The pool was freezing cold for our kids, and the grandson got sick with a cold. The wifi password didn't work and when I mentioned it, they just said to remove it and forget the connection and try again. It still did not work, and they had no other alternative or recourse. would not stay there again

The staff here are all lovely. The rooms are lovely and clean. The only thing about the room is that the big curtain can’t close all the way and we prefer a blacked out room so other than that the room was nice. The hot tub and gym are wonderful. The pool is freezing though

We had a king suite, which was roomy, and had a great kitchen with a full sized fridge, and dishwasher. The bathroom had solid lighting, and lots of counter space. The bed was comfortable, and there was a large window (unfortunately just a view of the parking lot). There was also a good-sized living room area.
Staff were friendly upon check-in and check-out. It was close to the main street, and dining. The only negative was the hot tub was not working (I noticed this on their website after we had booked).

Any other hotel in Chetwynd. Sleep in your vehicle

I would recommend staying at any other hotel/motel in town. The price you pay is in no way worth it. Even though I had stayed for the past month every week they would not let me in because I just had a picture of my photo idea. I ended up staying in my truck in the 7-11 parking lot so I had access to a bathroom. I’ll never stay in this hotel again . Also for the price the breakfast is junk. Same as all the other hotels for $100 less per/night.

The room I booked was not available so they gave me an upgrade. I’m not sure if it was actually an upgrade. The room was not locked when I got to it. The jacuzzi tub had a hole it and the shower was quite small. The hotel could use some updating. Great breakfast in the morning and the staff were very friendly and helpful

Glad to have a suite

Loved the suite setup, very convenient. Hotel is showing its age but room was clean. Unfortunately the light in the kitchen didn’t work for us. The pillows were much too high for our preference, but the bed was very comfortable. Would stay again

The staff was wonderful at the front desk and in the dining room, we didn't interact with any others so I wont rate them. The main hotel was quite clean and considering there was at least one other wedding group in the hotel, it still seemed quiet.
Our room could have used a better eye to detail for cleaning. At first glance it looked great but when I looked behind the bedside table to plug in my charger I found 2 empty cans and a used kleenex.
The water pressure in the shower was great :)

This is a sure bet when staying in the Chetwyd area. Large and spacious rooms with kitchen is a huge plus! Staff are very friendly, making the stay enjoyable!

I was disappointed that the hot tub and slide were not clean or working. The hallway carpets had stains. Otherwise the room was clean and spacious; and, the included breakfast was hot.

Friendly staff. Room was very nice. For the price disappointed since there was no hot breakfast. Also due to cold weather the pool and hot tub room was wet. They worked on fixing the venting so we were able to use the slide, pool & hot tub. Thanks for the effort. Also we wanted some bottled water so they promptly displayed some bottles of water.
The morning we checked out they said they would send my receipt, but next day checked my email and no receipt. Checked inbox, All Mail Etc. and could not find it. So I called and they promptly sent it. So thank you very much.

The pool, waterslide and hot tub were great. The hotel (general areas) was pretty rough, worn and not the cleanest. Our hotel room had a light that didn't work, lots of stains on everything from the walls, lamp shade, chairs, chair seats. We had a kitchenette, but did not have any dish soap, dish towel, wash cloth, etc. Floors were very dirty. Thermostat on wall didn't work (could use the front of the heater), and the remote didn't fully work (couldn't see a menu/guide). No towels in the pool for one swim, had to go get our room towels.

The staff was amazing and extremely helpful. The issues were with the hotel, $182 a night, was disappointed with a few things, a nice hotel but the parking lot was tight and in need of a snowplow. It was -34 and the front foyer doors weren’t functioning properly and apparently had been Problematic for awhile, do it was extremely cold in the entrance area and drafting into the breakfast area, an alternative heat source should have been in place to warm the front area, the pool area was cold, also as a result, the water in the pool was colder than necessary and the pool deck area is in need of a good scrub. The hotel room was okay, okay for clean, bed was comfortable but this is the only hotel I have ever stayed at where the bed pillows were square and filled with foam chunks, tried to fluff them out but did not make a difference, terrible pillows for the room price, definitely should invest in a better quality of sleeping pillows!
The continental breakfast was excellent a good variety for all ages.

Something that attracted us to this location was the pool and hot tub area. Sadly the condition and cleanliness of this area was extremely disappointing. It was very dirty and not maintained. I spoke to the front desk about it, hopefully they will have it resolved for our next visit
