Not up to it's standard

Check-in was fast and staff was very friendly and courteous.
I went to the room to drop off the luggage, and continue to meet at a family member's house. I gave a quick look over to the bathroom and immediately saw a wash towel so dirty that I threw it on the floor, before anybody used it. Since I was already late, I left after that.
When we came in, for the night, there were only 2 bath towels for a 3 people reservation, and the office was closed.
There was a sign to ring a bell that we never found.
One of the hand towels was just disgusting, as it was the shower curtain. Pillow cases, well... Let's say Rodeway Inn is NOT up to the standard I'm used to, from the times I've stayed in at different places.

Check in went well. Key card did not work and the placement card had to be tried 4-6 times to get it to work. Killed two big bugs in the room through the night. Shower hard to adjust and water got really hot when someone in building used cold water. Shower had rust and could use an upgrade. But bed comfortable, I slept well and WiFi worked. If you want a no frills stay, this is the place for you.

We were evacuated from hurricane Milton. I would say that it was exactly as I expected for the price. The lack of door seals caused a great amount of driven rain to enter the room. Later after power went out the ceiling started leaking. By morning 1/2 inch of water on the floor. The staff was incredible and should be commended for their efforts. We needed shelter and it served that purpose.

We were so grateful to the Rodeway Inn for our last minute reservation during the hurricane and power outages. We found the staff here more than kind, they went out of their way to answer any questions, take care of any requests without delay and housekeeping was excellent as well. We recommend this motel for anyone looking for a nice simple motel at a great price.

As well, while that may not be the fault of the property's management per se, the drinking water coming out of the taps or faucets had a strange smell about it, as though the water were coming straight from the bottom of the marsh.

I could tell that the owner is trying, however to see roaches, the bath tub in terrible condition and the rates bit posted in the room in violation of the law was bothersome at best. I really could not recommend this motel/hotel to others. As a matter of fact we switched our post cruise stay to their competitor in hopes of a better experience.

This property could use a good paint job in & out
Could put rods in to hang clothes. The owners should try upgrading & fix broken tiles in bathroom thus securing curtain rod for shower curtain
They offer a microwave & fridge as well as free breakfast but coffee is greatly watered down with packaged muffins.

Hotel is a worker stop over with residents cooking greasy spicy foods in rooms party atmosphere people on phones making drug deals in parking lot. No manager on site..housekeeper checked us i. And barely spoke English. Office is a mess drywall in rough shape. Was already charged for room and no. English speking staff couldn’t help with things. Was assured smell and toulet would be taken care of but upon a return room wanst fixed.Left without staying and requested refund from Cassandra. Waiting for owner response. Rodwway should be ashamed of this hotel and poor maintenance by owner

I had a 2 quem size bedroom… the beds were okay but the room was very dusty and dirty… I had to get a towel and wipe the counter the bedside table the bathroom and everything … the tub was rusty and didn’t look clean… the towels was very dirty after I finished wiping down the room. The breakfast was okay… yogurt, Fruit, Cereal danishes coffee… Outside the hotel was dirty…
So after all the main problem of the hotel was that it was very dirty and needs some repairs urgently..

It was very nice pleasant stay except for one. I decided to extend my my visit and when I finished paying for my extra nights, I was asked if I needed my room serviced. I politely to them that I didn't need anything. So you can understand my shock when they entered my room to service it while I was taking as nap. Should not have happened. Also had to use my data for the entire stay because their WiFi is terrible.

One of the most disgusting places I've ever stayed. First they cancelled my reservation and booked the entire place except one room. This may be why it was absolutely nasty.
