General cleaning was fine however there needs to be deep cleaning. The dining chairs were really stained. The decorative pillows in the bedroom were also stained. Otherwise, it was a satisfactory place to stay.

Small town feel

We stayed for a couple of days while visiting family. The gym was impressive for a small town and the breakfast selection was excellent. The room was clean and had the necessary comforts. The hotel did not have room service due to a staff shortage which, ultimately, makes sense with COVID. We would stay here again the next time we're in town.

Hotel is very dated, a lot worse than what the pictures show. Our room had a balcony and on the balcony there was a small door. We opened it up and there were piles of junk including liquor bottles with Liquid still in them from the 1980s. The lobby is nice, breakfast was decent and we liked the ice cream machine. However, if they aren’t going to update the rooms, they at least need to clean the property

Located in the center of Kristiansund, the hotel is within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The airport bus stops only a few minutes away. The hotel is comfortable and the breakfast is great.

One night in Kristiansund N.

We were travelling by car to the West Coast of Norway, and stayed one night overnight in Kristiansund N. on our roundtrip. Nice town and nice hotel. Enjoyed a wonderful fish meal at a restaurant nearby. In hotel reception we got very good guidance from staff of what to experience in the town.

Exceeded expectations

Nice hotel situated in the centre of Kristiunsund. Great gym and good bar / restaurant, free coffee & tea in the foyer and a novel touch of a free ice cream machine. Breakfast choice was good in a relaxed setting.Room was modern and clean with a good shower.

First off the staff were great and spoke good English and we did have a good stay. However the hotel needs work. The room we had was a bit shabby and there was no private parking. Food was ok and they had Guinness. WiFi ok.

Don't Judge a Book By It's Cover!

Don't let the outside of this building lead you to a wrong impression! We stayed one night on our way from Alesund to Trondheim. The location is very easy to access, is close to some shopping/eating places, a very short walk to the docks, and there are walking paths very close by. The rooms were very clean, modern and comfortable. Frokost was average for a Norwegian breakfast, but none-the-less very good. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Service of evening meal was very slow taking almost an hour to receive just one course. Good variety for breakfast. Parking was very expensive considering that it was in the open by the hotel, Interesting freebies were ice cream and pop corn in the afternoon.

Excellent hotel and room

I´ve been at this hotel before several times but this time they got me a very large room with very nice modern furnishing. It was excellent. Staff there is very friendly and welcoming, make you feel at home. The hotel has a pretty good restaurant and a great bar. Its definitely more than a two star hotel.

et greit hotel som jeg har overnattet tidligere.
I den varmen som vi opplevet så ville det vært ønskelig med aircondition, noe som hotellet burde se på mht fremtiden.
Klimaendringen vil nok gjøre det nødvendig etter hvert.

Det ble dessverre en lite trivelig innsjekking. Vi opplevde resepsjonisten som sur, og at vi hadde med hund uten å sjekke at det var ok. Det løste seg, men vi følte det ikke var ok. Vedkommende hilste heller ikke på oss når vi passerte resepsjonen i ettertid, det var å stirre ned i PC skjermen. I spisesalen var opplevelsen en helt annen, her var det service og god mat
