We loved our stay at Louisa’s Place. The staff was so thoughtful and welcoming! A special thank you to Lea, who checked us in. The location allowed us to explore Berlin by foot and public transport. The U-Bahn is steps away.

It’s a lovely, clean, quiet hotel. The suite was very spacious, much larger than we expected, and offered ample storage and closet space. We also enjoyed our pretty balcony with geraniums in full bloom. With several nearby grocery stores and the well-equipped kitchen, we were able to prepare meals easily. The Italian restaurant downstairs was also excellent, we had a wonderful meal there with warm and attentive service.

Louisa’s Place offers the best of both worlds, a great vacation rental apartment with the amenities of a boutique hotel.

Fabulous hotel and staff

This hotel is really lovely. The staff couldn’t be better - friendly and delivering top service consistently. There isn’t a bar in the hotel and the attached restaurant doesn’t open until 6pm. Room service is available though. Location is perfect.

At Louisa's Place, I got the feeling of home. One of the great experiences i've had at hotels in Europe was at LP.

Two beautiful ladies at the reception that always offered a smile, Ms Jennifer and Ms Linda. They made sure that our stay was a comfortable one as I was with my wife and 3 boys.

Also the gentlemen at the reception did not hesitate to offer any help when needed (sorry I didnt get your names guys).

Facilities offered at the hotel were a plus as the swimming pool was fairly sized for a short leisure swim with the kids during weekends, when everything is closed.

Housekeeping was a breeze, they came in and cleaned the two bedroom suite in no-time.

As for shopping and restaurants, they are minutes away. You can reach the main shopping district by bus (a few stops away) or by foot in 25 minutes. For grocery head to Edeka Adenauerplatz (less than a 5 min walk) or Lidl (around 15 minutes walk).

Overall, i would call my hotel choice in Berlin a success.

The Hotel apartment was fantastic, however rather disappointed in the taxi to the airport which we booked via the hotel. We were advised that this would cost between 30-40 euros, yet when we arrived at the airport we were charged 50euros!

Great hotel!!

Stayed in the hotel for 7 nights, with 2 small children. Such a great hotel!
The room is very big and comfortable. Very clean, was cleaned daily. We stayed in a room with a balcony that overlooked a very nice garden.
The staff is wonderful. Very friendly and always trying to help and make you feel welcome. Both at the restaurant and the reception.
The breakfast is very tasteful. We liked it very much. Ate breakfast at the hotel every day, even though it cost us extra.
The location is great also. Right in the heart of the most famous street in Berlin. A minute walk from the metro, that can take you anywhere you want to go.
Overall, a wonderful stay. I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Corporate, sterile hotels make me cringe. Louisa's Place was just the opposite. Needing to use your room key to enter the front lobby, with a freshly appointed sitting area just across, made me feel like I was entering my own home. The pool area was fantastic for a morning or evening swim followed by a refreshingly hot and clean steam bath. My week-long stay was restful, even though I was there on business, because the junior suite kitchen that allowed for breakfast in-room with great coffee supplied by the hotel. Room service was prompt when needed. The hotel staff was eager to ensure a positive stay.

Also valued the proximity to the underground and bus lines. Easily able to travel by public transport to all parts of the city and Potsdam (bike excursion there).

Lovely boutique hotel in an excellent area. The room was beautiful in an old classic way. It had a small kitchen a living room and a separate bedroom and a large bathroom. Our only complaint which was a large one for us was the portable air-conditioning unit. The unit requires you to put a hose out the window for ventilation. I first was unaware of this and was unable to get the unit to work properly so the staff let me know the issue. They were kind enough to do this for us. The portable air conditioner worked well however every time it cycled on and off it was extremely loud waking us up. By morning both of us were exhausted after not getting any sleep.

The hotel was located a short bus ride from former West Berlins main shopping area - so some distance from many of the historic East German sites. However transportation links are excellent. It a a nice area of Berlin to stay in with a good choice of restaurants and bars. The hotel itself offered excellent accommodation, in good decorative condition and with comfortable bed, generous shower/loo and well appointed kitchenette. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The pool and facilities were good too although the gym was very smalll and basic.

Hidden Gem in Berlin!

Needed a hotel for the nite due to cancellation of my flight, was not able to get anything else, all hotels seemed fully booked.
I am so happy I ended up at Louisa's Place; the location, the facilities are top of the line! The service by the Staff even better, after a very long day and a flight cancellation, I really needed a drink....the staff welcoming us (me & my boss) was so understanding and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and managed to get us some spirits to apace our stress levels....in the end I was sorry I did not find this place earlier!!!

A great base to enjoy Berlin

Excellent hotel, close to the metro which opens up possibilities to travel across the city. We had a junior suite and it was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast at the hotel is absurdly expensive so we used the little kitchen every morning to make it ourselves, which together with a morning swim in the spa made for a lovely, leisurely start to each day. The service from reception and housekeeping staff is friendly and efficient. We could not have wished for a better base.

Nice, clean hotel in a good location. Not far from S train and regional train. Shopping and lots of restaurants.
Rooms/suites are huge with kitchen, living room and ours had a balcony. Only drawback is no air conditioning which would only be an issue small amount of the year.

Lovely suite of rooms on the fifth floor on the inner courtyard (not facing the street). Extremely quiet and restful. Fully equipped mini-kitchen allowed for us to put together our own breakfasts, or bring back and store snacks or cold drinks. Modern pool, very clean and not overly used, in the basement of building, also small gym room with exercise equipment.

Negatives:
Satellite TV had a lot of channels but the only two in English were Japanese and Chinese outlets run in a quasi CNN format. Would have welcomed BBC world news or CNBC. Avoid their breakfast offered at $27 Euros each (breakfast for two would reach $90.00 Canadian/day) Had many fine breakfasts elsewhere, usually no more than $20 Euros for 2 persons.

We were made to feel welcome the moment we walked through the door. Friendly, helpful staff and a beautiful spotlessly clean room. We had a room overlooking the street below but had no problems with noise levels as it never seems to get very busy. Not sure we will return to Berlin again but if we do we will definitely stay here again.

Louisa's Place is an excellent all-suite hotel with an personable and helpful staff. Suites are spacious with separate living/dining room, and complete kitchen...modern and very comfortable. We stayed here for the Berlin Marathon. It is in a lovely area with excellent amenities. Easy to get around as very close to an underground station. But lots of places very walkable.

Staff at the hotel were excellent too and very helpful.

Hotel itself was clean, and the room was fabtastic!

Everything about this hotel oozes quality, style and charm. The apartment suite was spacious and in a quiet area of Berlin. The transport system is simple and convenient and took us to the amazing sights as well as milongas where we could tango with the locals. We found the Berliners helpful and friendly.

Charming Boutique Hotel

Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel situated in a nice area on the west of the city with short walking distance to premium branded shops. 5 minutes walk from Charlottenburg train station which has direct line to airport (S-Bahn) and 1 minute from U-Bahn. Older furniture in the bedroom but this was part of the charm of the place. Bathroom modern with great shower and swimming pool was a great way to spend the late afternoon. We didn't use the breakfast facilities or the adjoining restaurant but did use the Vesper bar on several occasions!! We had forgotten how unpleasant, however, smoking in bars is. Will be less smokey in summer, I would suspect when people are outside

The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Great value for money. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Arranged taxis, dinner reservations and sight seeing tickets and made great recommendations. The standard room was way above our expectations as we had a large bedroom separate sitting room with kitchen with all facilities you would need and large bathroom. All rooms were tastefully decorated and always spotless. Hotel is situated in a lovely tree lined avenue with lots of shops restaurants and bars close by. I could not recommend this lovely hotel highly enough.

A gem of a hotel. The junior suite was perhaps the most spacious, quiet and comfortable room we've ever stayed in. Staff was attentive and helpful (in English). Had breakfasts in the room because the kitchen was so well provided (there's a dishwasher AND a washing machine!) Once you get off the garish high street, Charlottenburg's side streets offer good walking, bars and restaurants. I much preferred exploring Kreuzberg, Mitte and Neukoln, but the hotel was a pleasure to come home to.

We have enjoyed an excellent stay at Louisa's place. The apartment ( large bedroom, lounge with large sofa bed, kitchen and well fitted bathroom) was perfect for our needs giving our family of four the space we needed. The rooms were immaculate, beds comfortable and showers hot!!! Reception staff were always very helpful and informed. My only small criticism would be that the breakfast whilst good was very expensive so we only ate there one of our four days but there are plenty of cafes/ bakeries locally and with the kitchen in the apartment it is possible to make other cheaper arrangements. Overall a delightful stay in Berlin and I would happily visit again and certainly stay at Louisa's place!

very helpful staff, nice pool and wellness area, not crowded, very large room and kitchen + refrigerator. Very warm feeling. The only bad think was the portable air conditioning that was added and didn't really coped with the hot weather (also needed to open the window for it...witch is headed to the noisy K'uddam).
Regarding the location, I prefer the zologiesiergarten area...it's easier to travel via the underground from there nd it's nearer the shopping malls.

I stayed their with my family for 4 nights and think it is just ok, surely not a 5 star hotel at all though. More of a serviced apartment style hotel really. The staff were very professional, the location was good but the actual bed was not comfortable and nor were the pillows. The hotel does not have central AC but rather mobile units which was not ideal.

Surely not a luxury product but very ok.

Second stay at Louisa's Place. Beautiful, small hotel in a a great location on K-Damm, a wide tree-lined avenue with high-end stores. Staff very congenial and helpful and spoke perfect English. A block from a subway entrance. Could not recommend more highly.

My new home in Berlin!

Flawless experience at Louisa's place. Enjoyed very much my stay there, from the professional welcome at the reception and the sense of attention and care by all the staff. Location is also a big plus, on Berlin Ku'damm and close to main bus and subway stations.
I would not stay anywhere else next time.
I did not try the restaurant there however because of the big choice of restaurants around and also because of the equipped kitchen

Louisa's Place is a lovely hotel with a great \"personal touch\" which sets it apart from the chain hotels that can all look and feel the same. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was conducted efficiently but also in a friendly and personable way whilst our luggage was taken up to the room. We were shown to our suite by the person who checked us in and it was large, bright, decorated nicely and very clean - it had all we needed for a 3 night stay whilst we explored Berlin. I would definitely recommend.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel

We stayed at Louisa's Place with our two boys, ages 11 and 8. Set in Charlottenburg it's central for all of Berlin's main sites. Their is a tube station only 50 metres away and frequent bus routes on the main road outside the hotel. From the moment you walk into Louisa's Place you are greeted as if you are part of their own family. Rooms are beautiful as was the breakfast. The hotel has a lovely small swimming pool which was an unexpected bonus.

Amazing hotel with pool in West Berlin

This is the second time we have stayed at Louisa's Place and we had yet another wonderful stay. This hotel has very spacious rooms that include a kitchen that is well stocked. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful, I could not recommend a better hotel if one wants to stay in West Berlin. The pool and spa area is very comfortable and very well appointed. Superb hotels overall.

Nicely located hotel with friendly staff

Excellently situated for seeing all the sites of Berlin and close to trains and bus stops so you can easily go westwards towards the Grunweld to explore further.
The Suite Room is comfortable and we were able to easily relax as a family. The kids loved the swimming pool. Friendly and welcoming staff who are happy to answer your questions.

Beautiful, but beware of obstacles

I wanted to love this hotel. The spacious suite included a separate living room and kitchen and was immaculate, very comfortable and well equipped. The staff was efficient and helpful. Great location adjacent to restaurants and the U-Bahn. However there were two problems, one easy to fix, the other not. Due either to a design element or a component of the building's structure, there were slanted walls in several places, all unlit, that were downright dangerous. If you left shoes in a dark corner and bent down later to put them on and forgot the walls aren't straight as they would be in 99% of most places, it was easy to bash your head coming back up. The second issue is that the suites are not very well lit; there was really not a single light bulb strong enough for reading, especially by the bed. And there was no lighting to draw attention to the slanted areas. Throwing some light in those corners and upgrading one light bulb somewhere would go a long way to making Louisa's Place close to perfect.

The BEST hotel in Berlin

This hotel was amazing in every respect. Our stay was part-work (for me) and part-trip with the family for the rest of the time. We definately chose the best hotel in Berlin. Extremely spacious and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the overall atmosphere was brilliant. We would recommend this hotel in every way. The swimming pool was a bonus too. If we ever go back to Berlin, this is where we will always stay; we loved it!

Very nice but.....

Hotel suites are very spacious (by European standards) and we'll laid out. Spa pool and exercise area are just right for small numbers of guests. The kitchen comes with all appliances but short on utensils and glasses. Dishwasher comes with only 1 cleaning tab and isn,t replaced. Seems as though they didn't,t want you to use the kitchen provided. Third person fee seemed excessive at 80 euros a day for simply additional linen.
