The top floor for breakfast is the best part and the views are amazing but our room was extremely expensive for what it was, the bathroom was super super small, the beds were not even twin beds. If you want toiletries you have to ask them in reception which sometimes you don’t know what you need until afterwards…

The suite was clean but a bit worn in spots. Chipped finishes, scuffs. The lobby feels more like a mall entrance and post check-in there was little attention from the front desk staff. Breakfast and common areas are a bit of a madhouse. Lots of families and tourists from all over the world. Good location but I wouldn’t call it comfortable or give it 4 stars-

The ski equipment rental shop and lockers are very convenient. The buffet breakfast is phenomenal too and the view from the restaurant is beautiful. The rooms are basic and a bit dark but good for a ski hotel. One issue is that we needed to carry skis everywhere, as the hotel is a walk or bus ride from the slopes and ski lifts

Disappointing Stay

Location picturesque and ideal to everything. However the rooms are boiling hot in the summer. The two Dyson fans did absolutely nothing to help in our two bedroom suite. No one ever brought the extra pillows or towels we requested directly at the front desk because our phone didn’t work. Spa on site had strong foot odor

The entire staff at this hotel is outgoing and makes a proactive effort to ensure you have a great experience at their hotel and in the Chamonix area. They were helpful with special requests and when we had an issue with a late arriving shuttle they stepped in and resolved it with the vendor. Our room had a spectacular Mountain View and the amazing breakfast is served atop the hotel with an even better view. I would definitely stay at the Alpina Eclectic again.

The hotel room was very couzy with a comfortable bed and nice balcony with an EXCELLENT VIEW of MONT BLANC. The breakfast was DELICIOUS and the view of the mountain from the dinning room was just breathtaking. Really liked the place. I did not make reservation for parking as I was not aware of this, but there was public parking less than 1 block away. It also had many restaurants walking distance. I would recommend it.

The room didn’t have the view we book. The staff were very rude. We requested bottled water and the boy on reception told us to drink from the faucet. I am 76 years old and they didn’t help us with the luggage, so we had to drag it through a carpeted hallway with the wheels not sliding.

Beautiful hotel - probably one of the best spots in Chamonix especially for a first-time visit like us.

Pros:
- Location: located just at the end of the pedestrian section of Jospeh Vallot, you literally walk outside and cross the street to have access to the shops, restaurants, art galleries and bars of central Chamonix. Also bus stops for the bus and skibus lines (Place Mont-Blanc and Mummery) give you great access to public transportation.
- Services: in the hotel, there is a ski rental store, as well as ski lockers with direct access from outside and bus stops. You can buy ski passes onsite. Bar in the hotel is more of a family gathering spot, with decent drinks and snacks
- Views: views of Mont-Blanc and the town of Chamonix were great.
- Family: family friendly hotel with some amenities for kids, small arcade, etc.
- Spa: small but nice spa, with dry sauna, steam room, relaxation area and 2 hot tubs, as well a 2 private massage rooms.
- Room: We had a superior room with balcony and view mountain view
. It was very nice in terms of decoration (colors, furniture, look and feel).

Cons:
- Room: The room was small. Bed could have been more comfortable.
- Spa: other guests did not respect quiet zones in spa
Elevators: expect to wait when the hotel is very busy
Lobby: fairly noisy and busy with young kids running around at times.
WIFI: WIFI signal was acceptable but it was often slow. No ability to cast content to the in-room TV.

Super nuitée dans cette hôtel en plein centre de Chamonix. Il est à quelques mètres de la rue piétonne principale. Les chambres ont tout le nécessaire, la literie est très confortable. We loved our stay at Alpine. It's nicely located and pretty much everything is walking distance. Our stay came with one hour of spa per day. The spa has sauna room, hot tub with a view. The front desk people were so nice and amazing and very helpful. They have us instructions to parking spots near by which were cheaper and also gave instructions to near by Laundromat.

Comfortable and accommodating all around staff most attentive despite being quite busy at front desk. Extra staff make the difference assisting customers reaching out to assist kindly. Spa was ok hot tube wasn’t private and wasn’t hot I suppose because kids were able to get in it. That would be my only request make it for adults to enjoy a hot tube exclusive.

The property is in a great location. The restaurant unfortunately is closed due to it being out of the ski season. The rooms are very warm, unfortunately leaving the door open to the balcony isn’t really an option due to the noise from the river outside. There is a dyson cool fan in the room, but can't be moved from its location due to the wire being nailed to the desk, so you have to turn it up to full to feel the cool air.. the hotel and staff are faultless and can not help you enough. Its a great hotel apart from the warm rooms.

Great location. Room was a reasonable size but bathroom and separate toilet extremely small. Not a fan of over bath showers. There is coil heater in room which was off but room was extremely hot and stuffy still. We luckily had a balcony and had to keep the door open. At night we had to use a noisy fan. The entire hotel was way too warm. Need to turn down the heating!

Everything is walkable so no complaints on location. parking was confusing but they do have parking, but it gets taken quickly. there is a lot close by that the hotel team will direct you to if you are driving. The spa is only 1 hour per person per booking, nice facilities but would like to use the space a little longer. It is a big hotel so I understand limiting it though.

The most beautiful stay!
We had the most perfect view of the mountains, we were walking distance to pretty much everything- dining, shopping, trails.
Our room was beautiful, clean and spacious. Also had a nice little breakfast buffet in the morning, would definitely come back!

Also a 10-15 min walk to the Chamonix station (depending on how fast you walk with luggage haha)

We loved our stay at the Alpina! They helped us arrange transportation from/to the airport ahead of time and everything was seamless and on time. The buffet breakfast and dinner was wonderful, everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful, and they helped us plan fun activities like paragliding, which was amazing! It’s centrally located in town and the farmer’s market on Saturday is right outside the hotel. We would love to stay there again!

Excellent hotel, based in the centre of Chamonix. Brilliant to have the ski hire shop in the hotel. Exceptionally helpful staff. Delicious breakfast, with plenty of choice in the panoramic restaurant at the top of the property. Just be warned, you need to get the ski bus to access the slopes for the whole of Chamonix, but this is easy to do from just outside the hotel.

It was very convenient. Walking to everywhere. The location is great. The rooms with balcony is right. In front of Mount Blanc. However you would better to reserve a parking spot ahead of time. Will stay there again if I have a chance.

Amazing experience in the heart of Chamonix

We loved the Alpina Eclectic Hotel! Well-appointed rooms, awesome location, and great views from the hotel. You can walk pretty much anywhere you would like in the city center area, and there are convenient bus stops near by, as well.

We stayed in one of the standard rooms, and while on the small side, it was perfectly adequate for two of us. We had views of the Brevent ski area from our room. The only downside I can mention is that our room was warmer than what we would have liked with the hotel not having air conditioning. It is my understanding that most hotels in town do not have air conditioning, and it just so happened that we were there during an unseasonably hot week in August. A large window and a tower fan certainly helped cool things off a bit. For the vast majority of the year, I think this would be a non-issue, but it is something to be aware of if you're visiting during the heat of the summer and the weather ends up being hotter than usual.

The breakfast is not to be missed! While it initially struck me as overpriced, we tried it the first morning (out of convince) and quickly realized that this is NOT your typical hotel breakfast. The views from the top-floor restaurant alone are worth the price of admission for at least one day, and the quality and choices of the buffet were notches above any other breakfast I've experience at a similar level of hotel before.

The staff were all absolutely wonderful to work with. Great service all around!

We just got home now. The moment we stepped into the hotel, I could see that we will enjoy our stay.
Ver very clean, staff are absolutely amazing. Happy to help . I requested an iron and they sent it to us immediately, I wanted a blanket and gave it to us immediately. Thank you to the Alpina team. The room was quite small, and the beds and pillows were what you would find in a two star hotel. Under the claim of environmentalism, they don’t have any amenities unless you ask for them at the front desk, which is a real inconvenience. The staff was not knowledgeable about local hikes or logistics. The worst two things about the place were the nous and the heat. It was maximum 20 degrees outside but the rooms stayed at 28 all night long. It’s difficult to sleep at this temperature. Worst of all was the noise, as our room was directly across from a number of bars where people were yelling into the night every night. There was so much noise and light that we couldn’t open the window all night. It was really a terrible experience.

Great hotel right in the heart of beautiful town of Chamonix. The view from our room and the breakfast restaurant are picture postcard.
The staff are really efficient and friendly, nothing was too much to ask.
The room and the corridors were a little bit too warm but we had the balcony door opened and had a large Dyson fan.
Would love to go back and would stay at the same place without any hesitation.

This hotel is in a great location. It makes walking Chamonix super easy. Lots of great eating all around. The room was great, spacious. They provided a fan which helped the no AC issues. Our view was amazing off our balcony. Staff was super friendly. Arrived early at 130pm and room wasn’t ready to 430. That was the only drawback.

The property is excellent. Our room was great. We had a view of the Alps and the town from our balcony. Breakfast was excellent. The only downsides for us were: you have to reserve a parking space in advance. Unfortunately we didn’t realize this ahead of time and that ended up being a huge issue because the town was packed and we had great difficulty finding parking. They have a nice spa. But all you need to book a time slot well on Advance.

7-night Stay in February

Just had 7 nights at the wonderful AlpinaEclectic hotel.
5 minute walk from the Savoy beginner area. 2 minute walk to the start of the pedestrianised high street, with lots of shopping and dining options.
Ski bus stops right outside the hotel as well, if want to explore further afield.
The staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the hotel is very clean and warm, including heated ski lockers in the basement ski room.
Fantastic breakfast selection, including cooked to order eggs and omelettes, and lovely mountain views from the restaurant to get you excited for the day ahead.

Thoroughly recommended.
