First off they gave me such a hard time about my emotional support dog not being aloud then the manager asked me questions about the service my dog provides me after providing legal documentation about his services. I informed her she was violating laws and she then said they would waive the fees for pets. Thankfully I wasn’t one of those brave soldiers having a flashback of being in Iraq and losing my cool to a karen. On top of that the bed had ants in it.

The staff in the front desk was trying to charge me extra since I only put 2 person checking in but we are actually 3 adults and 2 kids. I booked room with 2 queen beds and it says can sleep 4 adult. She is even claiming I paid way less on what I supposed to. She didn't even know how much I paid for the room. We were tired and had a hard time looking for the place since there is no internet connect even mobile signal to call Lake View Lodge. That old lady ruined our stay.

My wife and I stayed in one of the cabins with a kitchenette. It was cozy, clean and adequate for our 3 day visit to the Lee Vining area. It was quiet, good bathroom and simple kitchen with stove, half refrigerator and adequate counter space. The bed was not comfortable. It was hard and noisy. The bed is the only real negative about this otherwise good lodging.

The sheets were clean. That is the best I can say. We had room 15 facing a brick wall. If I had seen the motel before booking, I would have gone somewhere else. We paid a lot for a crummy room and absolutely NO view! The window over the bed had light in our faces. Not good!

Put in a bathroom clothes hook please

my only complaint is that I've asked them on previous trips to put up some type of clothes Huking in the bathroom so when you take a shower, you can hang your clothes. At any expensive fix, but they have ignored it.

Very nice young man checked us in. Tv is VERY small, both bathroom doors did not shut. Shower handle was almost impossible to turn on. Beautiful grounds and nice on site restaurant.

I've stayed at this motel more than a few times due to its proximity to Yosemite National Park and haven't had any complaints. This time, however, the room I got had a super high bathroom sink...a huge above-counter sink sat on the regular height counter and that made using the sink very difficult for a short person. I had to bring out the stepping stool I happened to have in my car in order to wash my face at the sink. I know this is not the case in other rooms I have stayed, so if you are a relatively short person (shorter than 6'), I'd recommend asking for a room without this type of sink.

I loved the little cottages. It was great to have a kitchen to prepare meals. All to often it's not the case or something doesn't work right if there is a kitchen. We have a lot of food allergies and can almost never go out to eat, so a kitchen is a necessities .I also loved a wonderful area to just relax after all our walking all day.The recliners were so great.

My partner and I got a cozy cottage for The Weeknd and it was perfect! The location from everything also was quite nice and had lots of places surrounding. And the lake view! Gorgeous. The check-in was smooth as well as check out. Definitely would come back here. Thank you Lakeview lodge !

This was our second visit. This time, our mattress was pretty uncomfortable and I really hate those synthetic bedspreads. Everything else was fine. Water pressure in the shower is decent. Location is great and the grounds are charming. Plenty of good dining options nearby, from nice coffee house to very cheffy.

We enjoyed the opportunity to stay in a camper! It was nice and clean, but there were some stains on the couch and the twin beds my daughters slept on had a mattress about 3 inches thick, which was a difficult sleep for them. Our pilot light was out 2 days and we had to take cold showers, but it was quickly repaired the next day. All in all, the convenience of the location, being so close to Yosemite's entrance was great. The front office staff was hospitable and accommodating when we had needs, and we enjoyed our time. We would come back, but stay in another cabin or in the lodge and not the camper.

Basic hotel. Quiet if you’re not lakeside. Room was adequate. Two issues from my room: 1. The bathroom sink was super high. The basin was on top of the cabinet and for me was chest high. This made washing my hands or face quite awkward and uncomfortable. 2. No place to charge electronic devices. There was one very loose outlet several feet from the bed, and I had to unplug the coffee pot to charge my phone. Thank goodness I had brought a long cord. I had to charge my camera battery in the bathroom.

A bit of a dungeon

I had asked for a room with bath and the guy at the front desk said the room came indeed with a bath. Well, it did not. I asked to switch, he said it was booked up. But the sign in the window said: Vacancy. So I think he was just too lazy to do the switch. The room was nasty. Hidden behind a staircase, dark...the head of the bed was tucked underneath the only window, so you either woke up at 6am with the sunshine or got the streetlamps to shine on your head all night. Not a good feel overall.

Don’t stay here if you need darkness or quiet to sleep. Bed is arranged such that the outside light shines right on the head of the bed. AC unit is noisy and needs to be fully turned on/off via the circuit breaker (circuit breaker was off when we got the room). Whoever renovated this place clearly hates their job and it shows across the room, like how the mirror is resting on screws sticking out of the wall or how the sink is weirdly high. No soap holder in the shower, microwave plus fridge plus everything else plugged into a power strip on the nightstand, etc. the list of cut corners goes on.
