We stayed for two nights. From the time we booked in, we were treated with absolute politeness, a special thank you to Wanita and Cassandra who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home , and the rest of staff who provided great service at breakfast.
Our room / bathroom were very clean and comfortable, the house and surrounds are absolutely amazing.
A lovely place to stay with wonderful people, we will definitely stay again.

Lovely room with a comfortable design. Easy to find and to access. No additional inclusions that you might expect in a B&B except your standard tea and coffee. Dissapointing breakfast as you have to select from a significantly reduced menu. Service was a little lacking, we returned back to try some of the menu items that were not offered..waited 10 minutes to be seated in a relatively quiet cafe and were ignored.

What more can I say about Cygnet. Can’t wait to come back. We been travelling for three weeks and Huon Valley is a must on everyone list. We stayed in Cygnet Old Bank. Our room was large and very cosy this time of year. A lot of produce also around the area.(Yum)

We arrived around 4.30pm which was right on closing time. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Convenient for an overnight stay. Dining options are limited in the area.
Our stay included breakfast but the menu is limited.

I read you can order a meal from the dining options but you need to give a few hours notice and it’s left in the fridge in the dining room.

The room we had was so beautiful. Although the bathroom was across the hall, it was only ours. Very private and secure for our own toiletries.
We could not believe how comfortable and safe we felt in our first B&B experience.
The inclusive breakfast was amazing. Choice on private menu and the coffee was perfect.
We will definitely be back.

A lovely old building beautifully appointed. Comfortable bed and good shower. The rooms have their own bathroom but it is across the hall from the room. Being an old building it is not suitable for people with mobility issues - lots of stairs. The cafe downstairs is open every day and food and coffee is good. Staff are friendly.

An absolute gem

I was so well looked after from the start until the end of my 3 night stay. All of the cafe staff and employees are incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were divine and proximity of such a lovely cafe is a real treat. My room and bathroom were beautiful- the bed was incredibly comfortable and the linens top shelf. I was very comfortable. I went for a compkete switch off and this was certainly what i was able to do.

For the price, a bathroom across the hall and no cleaning is not ideal. Our room wasn’t touched on the second day and we washed our own cups and glasses to reuse. “Complimentary” coffee/tea facilities in the room were lesser than a motel. A B&B by definition is a bed and breakfast. Meaning, breakfast is included. Not a $20 voucher per person towards breakfast. The cost of the menu did not allow a simple meal and coffee to be covered by the voucher.
Nice enough room but not worth the money. Pleasant staff.
