Kelly
Our keys did not work when we got to our room. However, Jenny from housekeeping let us in our room and even went downstairs to get new key cards. She was so helpful and polite!
Justin
The staff was outstanding and the facilities were great!! I especially appreciated the large shower and bathroom lighting. Also, the staff was very eager to help when our room only had two beds when we had 6 occupants. They kindly comped us a second room across the hall and were super curious while doing so.
Alonna
The staff was very kind and the property and room was quite clean. However, the bed wasn’t great, the pillows were awful, and the breakfast was almost inedible. I know continental breakfasts aren’t usually high quality, but this was truly the worst. The display was clean and nice, so I’m only speaking to the quality of the food.
cynthia
staff was super friendly and efficient.
Novilia
It was loud when the guests on the upper room walk or run around.
Lisa
We were there for a family reunion, in a total of 3 rooms. Loud people next door and below us kept us all awake until after 1:00 am. We were talking about it at breakfast and some other guests were commenting on it as well.
Hollie
When I arrived at the property, I was told that my room was not available. I had booked a queen suite 10 months prior to the stay. I asked for a partial refund, and the manager refused. They wanted to give me two rooms instead of a suite. I was traveling with my son and didn’t want him staying alone. I was given the excuse of being overbooked and then another excuse that there was water damage to the room. When I arrived, there was not a manger on site.

Bathroom was not clean. Had to call the front desk to send it to be cleaned. Dirty towels left from what I am assuming is the previous guest in the room.
Marlin
Staff was friendly. Quick and easy check-in and the hotel was very clean.

We had a flat tire around 2pm on route neat Columbia. Called the site and they said no refunds since the hotel was booked on Expedia.
Finally after many attempts to contact Expedia customer “service”…they said the would contact site and approve a refund but then said the site was not answering phone and closed the file.
Do better.

The pool was freezing, but our family stay overnight was great! Loved the room and breakfast! Greeted with chocolate chip cookies and waters at check in! Will definitely come back! Thank you!

Hotel was clean and very nice.

Walls were thin - our neighbors alarm went off at 6 am and it was loud enough to wake us up. In addition, the coffee served at breakfast was undrinkable - it tasted burnt.
Eugene
Rooms are showing signs of wear and tear, mildew smells. Both elevators were pretty sketchy.

I stayed in room #307 two nights. The hotel is close enough to town to be convenient yet far enough away from local traffic to feel safe. The grounds were clean and well kept. The lobby and hallways appeared clean. The young woman that checked me in was friendly and professional. The room appeared to be in fairly good condition. It needed a good vacuuming and there were various types and lengths of black hairs on the bathroom floor. The shower and toilet were clean and worked properly with the shower providing adequate pressure and hot water. The bathroom vent would often make an odd thumping sound when it was not running probably due to an issue on the vent line related to another room requiring the bathroom door be closed at night. Two the three chairs in the room needed wiping down. The round rolling stool appeared to have something white spilled or sprayed upon it. The bedding looked clean. The pillows were typical of hotel pillows, appearing full and fluffy but flatten very quickly. The mattress on queen bed #1, closest to the entry, is completely worn out. Not a too soft or too hard issue, the mattress is concave, bowl shaped and well past due for replacement. Bed #2 was better but near replacement as well. The appliances in the room worked as designed. With a little effort from the cleaning staff and replacement of worn out mattresses, this location would receive a higher rating.

We found it difficult to sleep because of the outside light shining in our room, and the fat pillows hurt our necks.

Not bad. Clean and new. Gym had a treadmill out of order and the TV on the other one did not work. Breakfast was pretty standard for hotel. Check in was fast.

Clean, friendly and a great breakfast ! Nice and quiet location

Corners were cut on the little things. I didn't enjoy that from a place that was $200 a night. The elevator was also ridiculously loud in my room.
Cynthia
Easy hotel.
Oscar
The little blonde lady at evening reception was wonderful. Pleasant, helpful, eager to help, friendly greeting. Bed was very comfortable. Cleanliness, not so good. Breakfast, not so good. This Marriott rental was a trial. Much happier with Holiday Inn Express.

Lots of construction around the hotel was going on. But the hotel itself was great!
Donna
The property is close to I-77 and many options for dining.

I like that they offer gluten free muffins for breakfast!!

Loved that our rooms had separate seating areas to watch TV! Nice to be able to sit on a couch/chair instead of the bed or office chair!

Beware! I made reservation here based on great Expedia reviews even though more expensive. When we went to the pool there was not just a little but a lot of green slime (mold? algae?) in the 4 foot by 1 foot puddles surrounding the pool and on the bottom of the pool. When I reported it they cleaned it up. I wanted to request a refund & leave at that point but we had my son and were exhausted so I waited to talk to the same manager when we checked out. I showed her the picture of the pool & her eyes got huge. I asked to cancel next weekend’s stay there & I wanted some sort of adjustment of our bill. Brusquely she said since we had booked with Expedia she couldn’t do anything. Period. She could have said we should contact Expedia and she would work with them for a satisfactory resolution and I wouldn’t have left feeling so annoyed. So I contacted Expedia and got next weekend’s reservation canceled and a slight adjustment to our bill plus some Expedia points so Expedia was very helpful.
Nice shower in room tho’ cabinets scuffed. Nic breakfast and very friendly person running the breakfast. But if you think paying more will bring you a better experience here you may want to think again.

Don’t believe the 9.4 rating. Our room was not very clean, the shower had pink mold, the shower seat was coming off the wall, the floor was very slippery. The sofa in the room had stains. A dog was barking in the room next door.
We will not be back!

This place is a disgusting dump. The guy at the front desk gave away my room, lied to me, then tried to say “well you shouldn’t have booked third party”
I had to drive another 3 hours to find a hotel with a room

The hotel was well maintained, clean and quiet. A new hotel was under construction on the adjacent site creating a little congestion. It was not a problem at night.

From the first contact with the dayshift Front Deskstaff to some the cleanest rooms and common spaces Ive ever seen in a hotel, everything was excellent!
The Breakfast Attendant was so personable and worked constantly keeping a well- stocked hot breakfast along with many cold options like cereal, yogurt and fruit.
Ine of my best hotel experiences ever! 5 Stars!

Check-in was great and the front desk person helpful and friendly. I woke up to the smell of what seemed like cat urine at 0500. I turned off my heat and fan since it was not that way when I went to bed. I got up again a little later and when I pulled the comforter back - the one I had been partially under to sleep, there was a dried 4-5 inch \"something\" on it. I left a note to please change ALL bedding as this was disgusting. I was going to let the front desk person know but there was a long line, and I had to get to work. I usually have good experiences with this type of hotel.
Emilie
Check in was very strange and not welcoming- the woman at the desk did not say anything to me other than to ask my name- no welcome not even a hello. She didn’t ask to see my ID or my credit card. Just handed me the room keys. Didn’t tell me where the room was, nothing about breakfast, wifi or literally anything. It was the strangest and honestly, rudest experience I’ve had at a hotel.
Other than that, the room was clean and breakfast was fine. The woman working in the breakfast room was very nice and welcoming.

Room is very clean and spacious! Breakfast is good as well. I would give it a 5 Star if we stop here.
However the room design has a big. Issue. two rooms designed to be connected with a door, which has no sound proof. We can hear nextdoor guests' entire conversation. And some sort of alarm went off at 4:00 am and last over one hour.

Devin
Enjoyed our stay very nice staff!!
Heather
Great stay just for the night.
Lana
The only problem I had that when I went to bed the flat sheet under the bed cover on one of the beds was crumpled and looked like someone used it. There was also a men’s shirt on a desk chair under the desk which felt like someone lived there before us and the room wasn’t cleaned properly after. Especially it’s not acceptable because we paid a $75 cleaning fee to the property when leaving for the hotel having to clean after having our dog with us.

Great Place to Stay
The Front Desk personnel were awesome!

Breakfasts were excellent. Staff were kind and thoughtful. Snacks in sacks to take, and local newspapers were nice touches. Front office staff really seemed to care.
The climate controls took some getting used to.

Basic hotel with nice furnishings and very nice staff.

I booked this hotel specifically because it was pet friendly. I was not asked when I booked the room if I was traveling with dogs. Only after I booked the NONREFUNDABLE room did they tell me there was a $75 fee per day per dog!! They already had my debit card and charged my account an additional $150. Had I known this BEFORE booking the room I never would have booked it!! Very dishonest of this hotel chain. I will never stay here again!!
Janelle
Anthony at the front desk was exceptional! When I checked in he was expecting us and called me by my first name-the check in process was very efficient and personalized-he truly is an asset and should be appreciated and recognized by Marriott-he could do so much for your company
