It’s motel 6 can’t ask for much, but a clean room with a bed and it was ok. Kind of some sketchy people hanging out, but they can’t control who lives there or stays there.

I am not Mr.Travel but I have been places. No hot water, doors so poorly fitted I could see light around the door like some kind of Halo. Did I mention no hot water!!! My brother's microwave caught fire!! The Staff was friendly enough and tried to keep the area outside clean, but this was a complete disaster. The TV remote was missing the battery cover which in my mind represents just how half ass the state of this motel. Avoid it unless cost is your only metric for where you lay down at night.

This is an old style Motel 6. It is right on a freeway and the noise is intolerable In addition, the air conditioner is very very loud We were unable to sleep or even exist in this space We were refused a refund after being there for half an hour We were forced to forfeit four nights payment Because we had already checked in. The owners would not negotiate We had to find other accommodations

Booked a smoking room, then told there were no smoking rooms available. Not enough towels for number of guests. Had to ask for a second keycard (we had 3 guests). Deadbolt on door would not lock. TV remote didn’t work properly.
Shower two choices: ice cold or scalding hot, no in between. No elevator, and we were on the second floor. Vending machine dirty, and mostly empty. It also stole our money.
We’ve stayed at many motel 6’s across the country and this was the worst one.
Do NOT recommend.

I understand...it was a remote location compared to other hotel. No multiple choices of food near by the Diary Queen was...okay.

The problem I had was the dog hair from to bed spread getting on my black sweat pants. I had to remove it from the bed because my clothes kept getting messed up.

Noisy air conditioner, especially when starts up. Shower has/had low water pressure. Daylight around door. Broken security lock on door.

Wifi doesn't have separation turned on as when connected got deluged a few moments later with dozens of IP probes.

Not the first time I have been here, but I think it will be the last. It's biggest benefit is that is close to my son, allowing me to spend as much time as I can.

The door stuck, making it difficult to open and close, and the deadbolt wouldn’t work. (The clerk came to the room and looked at the door, saying he’d have it fixed the next morning. Didn’t happen)
The toilet seat was loose, and the toilet itself was loose from the floor. The tub was stained, as were the sheets and blankets, although they appeared clean.

It was close to my job site. I drove 5 hours directly to the hotel. They canceled my reservation because of busted plumbing. Anthony said he called but I couldn't pick up while I was driving. The number for Motel 6 was nit on the ID. He was not very helpful and argumentative. I have not encountered that kind of hostility and I was very tired from my long drive. It was dark. None of the nearby businesses were lit up. I had to call at 6 pm to find another hotel last minute. Thankfully my daughter was able to locate a clean, friendly, Best Western hotel in Decature 18 minutes away.

I stayed 3 nights and the bed linens had cigarette holes, room smelled of smoke, tv remote didn’t work and was held together with tape, dirty bathroom and floor, there were holes in the walls, there was a broken shelf just leaning in the corner. By far the worst Motel 6 I have ever stayed at.

Room was fairly clean, but not maintained. Room smells like smoke,, door lock is broke, door doesn't seal, holes / pock marks in walls... MISSING SMOKE ALARM!, some large fan or similar starts at 7am with obligatory minute of squealing belt (near the far end of building). On plus side, no indications of bed bugs, pleasant staff despite 10:15pm check in, very high water pressure - almost painful, AC felt capable of throwing ice cubes. Reservation was given away, dbl queen subbed for single king. No coffee pot or hair dryer.

Probably won't be back, at least not until rooms are updated and maintenance caught up.

Great location, could definitely use some repairs

Read previous recent reviews but found no bedbugs, at least not in smoking room #116. Window couldnt completely shut and bath faucet was very loose. The bed was very comfortable & the A/C in the Texas summer 100+ heat, was cold.

First I know I picked the room with two Queen beds and I can assure you they were actually fulls. One didn’t have the headboard attached bc it was against the wall on the floor by the window. There was no plug for the bathtub. Only had 3 pillows for two beds. It was a mess.

We reserved this property because it is pet-friendly and we thought had room to park our camper trailer. There really isn't room to park a camper, and we had to park a few streets away next to the Dairy Queen. Not ideal. It was pet friendly, but there seem to be a few residents living there full time that had dogs that were constantly barking. The room was basic but clean, but we had to keep having the toilet plunged. It was affordable, I guess you get what you pay for.

Fairly clean. Customer service was awful. Manager Jay overcharged us. Claimed we \"changed the reservation\" which was totally false. I sent him overwhelming evidence that there was no change but he didn't care. Very rude man. DON'T STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Also, told them the smoke alarm had been ripped out of the wall. They did not seem to care. Also, the tv remote did not work. When we complained they didn't care at all. One nice man did show us that you had to turn on and change the tv channels on the tv without using the remote. Wouldn't you think they would have a card that explained that to the customers or simply replace the remote? No, that would be too good of customer service for this place. We stayed there about 6 nights in 2021 and 7 nights in 2022 and this is how we are treated. Overcharged $166.

They put me in a room with a broken bed and blamed it on my 4yrs and 6yrs of age and did an unauthorized charge of $250 plus the rest of my duration of my stay which was and additional 150 they are scams they allowed my neighbor which was a man to come knocking on my room door talking crap to me and my children about me calling for a loud noises because the neighbors were fighting and hitting my wall sooo hard to the point where it was shaking my head on the headboard I will never go back here and I don’t recommend they for a good stay

Too many people walking and hanging around the parking lot. Police showed up a couple times to investigate kids handling out in a vehicle in the parking lot. This place has gone down hill sense the a year ago when I stayed last. Would not recommend anyone.

It’s in a very very very small town. I appreciate the man at the front desk working with me and explaining how the system work with booking with Expedia. The door didn’t have a bolt lock with was concerning. It was honestly a normal standard motel. Pretty thin walls but hey again it’s a motel and you her what you pay for. If need be I wouldn’t mind staying here again.

It is convenient to the Eagle Mountain International Church and Kenneth Copeland Ministries. This is my second stay at this Motel 6 for that reason. The office was undergoing some remodeling and the ice machine was broken. Room was clean and functional...standard motel 6 quality.

The toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall. We reserved a smoking king bed room and when I got there around five they didn’t have my room available so we had to take a nonsmoking handicap room that was worn down just to get a king size bed. The room only came with two towels and one wash towel, no hand towels. No one answered the phones when we called repeatedly. The shower constantly dripped all night long!

Just an overnight stay, thank goodness, hotel was ok. Guys next to us was smoking pot which you could clearly smell. Not sure what was going on in the other room but banging on my headboard half the night. Road noise was really loud, very close to main highway. Besides the obviously lack of insulation the room was clean but not a very comfortable bed.

It wasnt good at all. The man that attended to us was very nice and friendly. The bedspread has 4 cigarette burns in it. Why keep the bedspread. why not throw it away?? The floor was dirty. Two of the towels looked like they had pieces of dead leaves in them, maybe when they washed it had some debris in it.. We stayed there a few years ago and it was so nice and clean and brand new. It looked and feel like it was a old dirty hotel. No kleenex., No coffee or coffee pot, just a small bar of soap..

Even the staff was amazing, a young gentleman checked me in and I had called the office needing Mr Jim's Pizza phone number in which he googled it for me because my phone died and we didn't have a charger. :) Great experience and superior clean room

They would not let us check in until 3 pm. I wanted to check in early (10am) and they were going to charge me for a whole day stay. There are stray cats everywhere. Staff walk around in their pajamas. We had to get our room key reprogrammed everyday. They never gave us clean sheets. The AC didn't work well either. Terrible experience...

What i found!!!in my bed

Ive staid at this hotel before and never had an issue until my last visit this month...i was actually talking about how good this particular one was and then embarassed myself to my acompanying guest not only was the guy at the front desk rude and one of my cards magically didnt work there..luckily i did have a back up and it was the most ive paid thus far...the room wasnt as i rembered from before but the bathtub faucet leaked all night but that wasnt even the BIG issue i had and why i am actually taking the time to write this but we both got up a little itchy and found a bug on the bed which i caught to look at and since ive never seen a bedbug in person ..we both thought it was just an ordinary outside bug that happen to get in..probably from the noticable crack in the door...come to find out now that its been a few days and red itchy whelps developed on both of our skin and myself having super sensitive skin they have become sores!!!im really upset that the quality of that establishment has gone down that much in about 6 months..smh

The managment of the property was very rude, claimed we damaged the sheets on a bed we didnt even sleep on. They called the cops bc the room smelled like smoke, and some random man walked into the room in the middle of the night.
Dont waste ur money.
