Sue at the desk is so nice. The other pet owners there were very friendly. The beds were comfy, the fridge and the ice machine worked, hot coffee in the morning. Convenient affordable and you get what they say.

Very friendly and helpful staff. This is place has free coffee, tea and hot cocoa and microwave for guests. It’s a basic, affordable motel for people on the go. There is a restaurant and gas station next to the motel for guest convenience. One level motel. The room was clean and comfortable.

The room was very clean with no lingering smell! The mattress was comfortable, but there were not enough pillows on the bed, and the quality of the pillows was low. (I probably could have asked for more pillows, but did not, so that is on me, not the hotel!) Reception people were friendly and check-in was smooth and quick.

The room has minimun ac outlets. There are no USB outlets in the room. Each room should have a usb outlet. Remove one normal ac outlet and replace it with one that has two ac outlets and a usb outlet. Wifi was very strange. Certain favorites would not open up correctly or not at all.

Our room was clean and the staff was friendly. My only concern was there were no high grab bars in the shower. I have issues with my knee. If it would have decided to cause problems while I was taking a shower, I would have had nothing to hold on to. Please consider, all the showers, whether they are accessible or not, should have two grab bars; one for help getting in and another on the main wall.

Room and motel very good overall. Only complaint I have the desk had no available plugs accessible Moved the desk closer to plugs for my laptop which is crucial to my travels. Not unusual to have to do things like this in my travels. Would definitely stay here again.

As soon I walked in the room was so stinky that I couldn't stand the smell. I had to buy a febreze plugable so that smell could get better because I was getting intoxicated by it. The room also wasn't well clean I had to wipe down the dresses and night stand and the wipes came out black from the dirt and the toilet wasn't well clean and the bathtub had dirt on it and mold and mildew. I would never stay here again. The smell was horrible.

We would stay there again. The price was great for the Bloomsburg area. Would of gave 5 stars across the board but it is a Motel 6 and it's not new. Even the beds were surprisingly comfortable. There was no breakfast, but a very good homestyle restaurant was next door. The free coffee in the lobby was excellent.

Staff both front desk and housekeeping are friendly. But I prefer newer laminate floors to dirty old carpet found in halls and room. Lobby is almost empty with no furniture thought I appreciated and used local travel info to stay another day and visit area. Room is not as pictured as there was no floor lamp or easy chair as shown or framed art.

Also room had musty odor and under window HVAC unit required frequent temperature adjustment. Simple metal padded chair at desk was not meant for that use as it was too low. Tub/shower & toilet room was cramped old style. On a positive note, small fridge had a freezer section free of ice and cold to refreeze my ice packs.

I don't expect a lot from any Motel 6, except for a decent room to go to sleep for a night. It's a low bar.

CONS:
The shower head is less than 6 feet up the wall. WHO designed/built this place?!?
Shampoo was available from the front desk in a single-use packet, which is perfectly fine, BUT I COULDN'T OPEN IT in the shower. I needed scissors to open it OUT of the shower, which I don't carry on trips!

PROS:

The coffee in the lobby in the morning was surprisingly decent. At least there's that!

Employees were friendly.

OK for a quick overnite \"rest-stop\", but not for extended stays, IMHO.

Motel 6 is known for its simplicity and comfort. Not a lot of frills but a good place to rest your head. This motel was no exception, the staff was friendly and courteous and efficient. We felt comfortable to checking in, and felt welcome during our entire stay. The parking lot was large and easy to find, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The only two small criticisms were the toilet was short(I'm a tall guy) and The lighting in the room was a little strange that a wall switch would control the bed lights, and there was a single outlet by the nightstand. These are tiny little things that took nothing from our enjoyment of our trip and our stay at the motel.

Comfortable stay. I stay here often when in town. Always clean. Always quiet. Always safe. I like the little convenience store next to the building too. There’s also an attached family restaurant that has good food. The hotel is very basic. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but that is reflected in the rates. I’ve never had a bad stay. Very kind, professional staff.

Needs to be updated and deep clean. Bed is hard and makes sounds every time you move. Bathroom doesn't have hot water due to other rooms showering. Had to wait over an hr. Bathroom around floor of tub is nasty. Walls paper thin. You can hear everything. Even with TV up. They come in your room well you're not there to replace towels and moved my stuff around. I am happy I got towels, but I didn't ask for any. So, it was kind of freaky them being in the room. Staff is friendly. Nothing to do near hotel. Overall, an okay stay for the price.

The rooms are a little dated but the AC/Heat worked well, the beds were comfy and the water was hot. TV was nice and the remote actually worked. Quick trip to my destination, booking my next stay now.

Seems they cleaned up the place because a few years ago this was a hard line stay away from according to the locals.

The staff were very nice and accommodating; however, the room had some issues. There were some bloodstains on the bedskirt and on the carpet by the sink. Also, the walls were thin, so we could hear our neighbors talking, watching tv, and listening to music at all hours. Other than that, it was a perfectly comfortable and economic place to stay.

Although the property is dated and in need of some renovation and upgrading, the price was good for that location and time of year. Even as old as the property is (I remember it as a kid and am 80 now) it was clean and comfortable. Parking is very convenient; the restaurant adjacent serves great local food at great prices and seems to be very popular with the locals based on the number of patrons. Staff was friendly and accommodating during our week stay.

We liked that it was pet friendly and we’re not charged more . It was a good value. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was clean. It was quiet and lots of dining options convenient. I could have used a hair dryer, some shampoo and cream rinse and a coffee maker but outside of that, all was good. The hotel did provide complimentary coffee and tea every morning in the lobby.
Staff was friendly , parking free. It was good stay and we will come back again.

Clean room but moldy AC smell

While the room seemed clean, it had an extremely musty / moldy odor coming from the AC unit.

I had to vent the room by opening the window for a while in order to alleviate some of the strength of the odor.

We decided to end our trip early and did not stay the second night we had reserved.

Could not face another night with the odor and having messed up sinuses in the morning.

Not worth the money saved

Stayed here due to it being a cheaper option in the area, but you get what you paid for. Front desk attendant put us in a room that smelled like smoke, even though the whole hotel was non-smoking. She changed our room to the room next door and that one smelled worse than the first. She went back and checked on two other rooms and said they smelled as well, so we got the 5th room she checked for us.

Other than that, there was no water over night due to a water main repair but that’s not the hotels fault.

Room was dingy, bathroom was clean but in need of refresh/repair

Overall I would not stay here again unless there were no other options, I’ll spend the extra money next time

Happy with our stay. Quiet and clean and safe area. Very good rates. We always stay here when we’re in town. New paint and carpet (or flooring) would make it top notch and glisten! Either way, our stay was pleasant. ALWAYS a very friendly experience with their staff. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and that’s SO important these days. We’ll keep coming back.

This is a motel, so we planned to park the car under our windows. If your room is located at the back of the hotel, this is not possible. The girl at the front desk was not helpful. We regretted paying online in advance. We probably could have another room if we had paid on the spot. Everything else was fine.

The beds real bad, on the reservation say queen bed, but the really it’s full bed, the people there when I talk don’t care nothing, they respond front the back room to the office. For a couple dollars more maybe I don’t have this bad experience. You know I there, the hotels around really fully, I think don’t need permits they people offered on Expedia, I have a really bad night on really old beds and THE AC DONT WORK PROPERLY

It’s an older facility so there are dated elements but it was scrupulously clean; the A/C and cable were excellent; it was quiet and animals are welcome. About five miles from downtown down one straight road - very convenient. I would stay again.
