I've stayed at the hotel a few times now and this was the first time I was given a room on the entrance side of the building. It was a lot noisier than the other side, the toilet in the room was leaking and flushed it self every few minutes. Other than that the stay was ok bed was comfortable shower was hot and the hotel easy walking distance to everything in town

This was the best hotel on our Sydney to Melbourne coastal road trip. The hotel is new and modern. A great value and surprise. It is in a small town that has downtown area that reminds you of communities from the 70's. We were able to walk down the street into town and found great restaurants for breakfast and charcoal chicken for a picnic lunch. Drove one of the suggested drives and had a great time.

I stayed in Room 317 for two nights, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The central cooling system in the room was not functioning properly and emitted a loud noise every 10 seconds, making it impossible to get any rest the first night. On top of that, the toilet flush kept getting stuck, adding to the frustration.
Although the hotel offered an upgrade for the second night, it didn’t compensate for the terrible experience I endured during the first night.
Additionally, the buffet breakfast was disappointing for vegan guests. There were very limited options, and to make matters worse, even the bread contained eggs. It felt like an afterthought for anyone with dietary preferences.
Overall, while the gesture to upgrade was appreciated, the issues in Room 317 and the lack of inclusivity in the breakfast options left me dissatisfied with my stay.

Customer service was amazing and super friendly towards kids. Very accommodating. Was nice to be connected to the resturant and games/bowling. Breakfast was basic but was nice. Rooms were spacious. Just a noisy cooling/heating was apparently a certain way to use it so may be fine but also fine without it. We would come back for another stay.

Nice new property, but really lacking a bit around the basic comforts. Nice big room with plenty of space for furnishings, but just a table and chair when there should be a desk. Stand with the coffee machine was barely big enough to make coffee. The AC/heat was constantly turning on and off every minute or so. Couldn’t figure out how to get it sorted. Overall, a bit disappointing for the most expensive hotel in town.

The room is modern and the bed is so comfy. We were very happy to find that a cook breakfast was offered in the lounge near reception. Breakfast was lovely - compliments to the chef. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We went to a show at the beautiful performing arts centre. Just a few minutes walk.

Did not like restaurants/bar being closed on Public Holiday despite online advertisement stating these facilities were available and staff unable to suggest any alternative options . I selected the Mantra because these facilities were to be available to weary travellers at the end of a long day . Very disappointing .
