Room was clean but the AC sounded like a helicopter going off.
We were told online breakfast was at 6am and the front desk lady told us 6:30am. Some people who checked in after 7pm were told breakfast was at 7am. We came down at 6:35am and waitied till 6:45am and all they had was cinnamon rolls and cereal. No eggs, no bacon, no hasbrowns, no hot oatmeal, no pancakes. We ened up having to leave for tournament and grabbing mcdonalds on the way. Total let down for all the volleyball teams who were promised a meal and went without.

The food was dry no one came to change it out. The bottom of the biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were hard. Food needed to be moved around so it wouldn’t be dried out and bread for toaster was too big for the toaster. Not happy.

I was placed in a room next to the side door which was used frequently. Upstairs noise was also an issue. I’m a Holiday Inn member so I was placed in such a room in that location. The office staff wanted to move me to another room but my suitcase was all unpacked so they deposited 100 points instead. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the highlight of the stay.

Unexpected stay at the holiday Inn in George after the car troubles we encountered near by on our way to our yearly trip to Mexico.
Fortunately with one mechanic shop and one hotel both turned out to be our saviour. The Hotel was recently changed to Holiday Inn and was pleasantly surprised by how clean and spacious it was and the luxurious bedding with comfy mattress. After chatting with the owner of the hotel and his focus on where the money should be spent was an extra comfort. We ended up spending 4 nights until the car was road worthy.
Our experience in George was a great one even tho there are lack of places to eat around. One family run Mexican restaurant was a bonus and never knew gas station fried chicken became my favourite in the end lol.

This was my second time staying here - both times were very pleasant. We pass through George during the holidays to cut the drive in half and this is the best hotel offered in the area. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and spacious. We especially like this place because it is pet friendly and offers a good breakfast. My favorite touch is the free cookies at the front desk and their \"guest of the day\" program.

Amazing staff!

We stayed 4 nights here due to a transmission breakdown while towing a 5th wheel. The mgmt allowed us to park our RV there while the truck was being looked at. From the front desk staff to the breakfast staff to the bar team to the owner (he made a point to say hi and asked about our stay) everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. We may have had an unlucky event leading up to our stay but the experience and hospitality made us feel lucky to have landed at this hotel.

Overnight for club volleyball tournament on Quincy. This was very close by, clean and comfortable. There were several locals in the hotel bar that gave us a great recommendation for dinner and once we returned they were very social and invited us to sit with them. They moved breakfast an hour earlier so that the kids could get some before heading out.

These rooms are so clean. I really love this hotel. Great service. Beds are comfortable. Showers are hot. Heater isn’t super loud. Pretty view. I plan to stay here in the future and would recommend it to anyone who just needs a room to sleep and shower. I have never gotten to try breakfast because I work too early. When I used to work front desk at a hotel I made sure some items were out by 5 am for workers. Just an idea. I still love it here.

The property is clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast included waffles, biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, potatoes, bagels, cereal,yogurt in short, something for everybody. No question a gem in the desert.

Microtel was conveniently located off highway without the noise. Property was clean and staff were great. Checked in online before arrival and just grabbed key cards when we arrived. King room was large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast bar with hot and cold food was really nice. Price was really good. We will stay again on our next visit to Quincy and recommend staying here.

This was a perfect spot for a last minute snow storm stay. The hotel is amazing and I would stay here for a concert at the gorge as well. The only complaint I really had which wasn’t horrible was the Trucks using their Jake brakes (exhaust) to take the exit because the hotel is right next to a truck stop convenience store. But all around a nice hotel.

I have contacted this property numerous times and there is not a manager on site even the times I was told there would be one. I am owed a refund as my stay was cut short. I stayed 2 out of 8 days booked and they still have not refunded me. Zero management follow up.

Good sleep

Clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. No soap at the bathroom sink. That’s where they attached lotion. You have to get shower gel from shower to wash hands. Shower was not the best. Very cool temperature and shower head spray coolant off even more. Hard to rinse a full head of hair. I would have preferred to also have some sheers on the window so you can get some natural light during the day without the cars seeing into your room.

A quick overnight but a very enjoyable stay at Microtel. Enjoyed dinner and a drink in the attached lounge. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Everything was flawless for this stay from arrival to check out.

Everything was great the only reason for How’s your room being 4* is because you have reach behind you to get to the toilet paper, the bathroom counter is really small and the bathroom fan didn’t work. Everything else was tip-top!

The first room offered smelled like puke and there actually was fresh puke next to the fridge. Not exactly what we expected for Ritz-Carlton pricing (for a basic double queen room), due to the show at The Gorge.
It is basically trucking stop hotel that is close to the amphitheater. Would not recommend.
