Our stay was so lovely! All the amenities were so wellkempt and clean. The staff were incredibly generous, accomodating, attentive, and so personable. We had such beautiful interactions with the staff, especially Richard, the barista. He was an answer to so many of our prayers! We were truly just so grateful to be here, for the blessing to rest, and to leave with our souls refreshed. We are praying to be back sooner rather than later!

Staff was amazing and friendly! However the tv in the hotel room did not work the few days I stood there. I left about $40 in souvenirs by mistake called the service desk and they said they didn’t see any when I know for a fact it was left that. Other than those 2 problems everything else was great!

There were several pools. One with a swim up bar, infinity pool, lounging area and hot tub. Shaded areas in the pool were an amazing feature. The second pool area has a beach like entrance and was geared towards families. Very inpressed.

Everything was great the resort was very nice, and so was the beach all the staff were great, only thing was our AC unit was leaking until I changed the settings on it, our tv only worked the first two nights after calling someone to fix it, and I had to ask for new towels after room service came. The food selection is limited and they’re isn’t any grocery stores or other restaurants nearby but not the resorts fault. Expedia also claimed it was a 21 year old check in minimum when it was 18 and Expedia also claimed there was activity’s like jet skiing, para sailing, etc but was none on the beach.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the grounds are beautiful. The restaurant food was delicious, and our dinner waiter at the main restaurant was outstanding. Special thanks to Jayson Santos, who went above and beyond to help resolve an issue we were experiencing. The only downside was the shower water temperature, which was cold to only lukewarm.

Safe, gated, and private access. The resort had great amenities that were well kept and has private access to the beach. The room was okay, but a bit of maintenance could be given to ensure it lives up to the resort standard that is evident in the rest of the property (yes, I shared with the front desk staff as I was checking out). As it was, I have had rooms that are better kept at regular hotels.

The majority of the staff was friendly and kind - shoutout to Adrian (front desk), Gabriel (bartender), and Nicole (restaurant)!

The continental breakfast consisted of coffee, pastries/bread, yogurt with fruit, and juice. It was a simple, yet delicious breakfast to start the day.

I recommend staying at least more than two days to explore everything the resort has to offer.

While here, visit the plaza within the resort that had shops and restaurants. Highly recommend Blue Hawaii and Pura Vida!!! The staff was great and their food/drinks even better - definitely a highlight!!!

🌟 Positive Highlights: Beautiful location, amazing, clean property with welcoming and helpful staff. The employees were super courteous.
⚠️ Room/Maintenance Issues: My room had several major issues. I was told it had a patio, but the doors didn't open, which the front desk confirmed only after I asked. The bathroom tub was disgustingly stained. The TV was broken and had to be entirely replaced. All room doors slam loudly, creating noise disruption. My room's safety deadbolt was non-functional, and there was no inside chain lock. When it rained, water seeped in from the patio into the room. Property owners should prioritize upgrades.

Food options are limited (one restaurant, cafe, lobby bar, pool pizza bar) with similar, overpriced menus. The attempt to fuse Puerto Rican cuisine was well-intentioned but resulted in bland, unimpressive, and \"just okay\" food. The chef should stick to traditional, undiluted dishes. The pool music was terrible—a loud, monotone techno beat I could hear from my room. Tropical, Caribbean, or Latino music would be far more appropriate.

While I generally felt safe as a solo traveler, I was startled upon checkout when the manager asked if I was expecting guests. Apparently, two men were roaming the property looking for my specific room number the previous night, and security made them leave. Since only staff knew I was alone and my room number, I felt like a target. It is critical to remind staff about maintaining guest privacy and safety protocols.

We had our tween and teen children at this location. It was not condusive to a family trip. There were very few options for dining and what was available was not kid friendly or great for adults either. Everything was very expensive and not a lot of choices. The staff was friendly but not super responsive. I asked them to return to clean our room because we had someone napping. They did not return and when we asked for additional towels because our room had not been cleaned, I had to ask 4 times. The room was also not ready when we got there after check in and once we got there, it was not as advertised with a pull out couch and that had to be brought. Overall, it was fine but not great for a family. There were really no places other than the pool to do anything and choices were limited in dining and activities.

The room I got was next to the hotel's reception and lobby, so the lobby music could be heard loudly in the room. At first, they told me nothing could be done, but after I complained more emphatically, the manager turned the music down. The second night, they turned the music up loud again, and I could barely sleep. The property is outdated, as are the bathrooms and rooms. The breakfast is nothing special. I really wouldn't recommend this place.

I was lied to on the phone 3x about the beach before arriving. They knew the beach was down a month before my arrival but yet told me & my fiance everything was good. My fiance first time in PR, plan to propose on the beach. We sat at the pool the whole stay. Maintenance had to come the room 3x because of the TV. The worst vacation I have ever had.

The room was clean and the a/c was great. It was a bit of a walk up and down stairs which took us to a corner room. Later we found out it was a blessing in disguise (it was far from the noise in the lobby). I usually do not write negative comments about a hotel, however I need to point out several things that can be better. Music in the lobby and main pool area were extremely loud, in the lobby at all times. The 1st day we only stayed at the pool for about 40 minutes in which we couldn’t even have a conversation, DJ music was way too loud. We tried the alternate pool and it was closed to guests as they were preparing for a private event.
Next day while at breakfast we were granted a complimentary Continental Breakfast which took 45 minutes to arrive at our table. There is no breakfast buffet. Later we tried the other pool and when we arrived we were surprised to find only 8 lounge chairs and 2 umbrellas to cover from the sun which were all being used. Apparently they had removed most of the lounge chairs and umbrellas for the private event the night before and forgot to return them to their original location in the morning. Therefore there was no place to sit. Nonetheless we put our stuff in the grass area and tried to enjoy what was left of our stay in the pool. Once some gusts left we were able to get some lounge chairs. I do have to point out that Natalia (staff member) was very friendly and saved the day. All said….If you’re looking for a hotel to relax, this is not it.

Overprice for the quality From the moment you pull over no one will help you. The bellman only assist you after checked in, so prepared to roll your on luggage at the desk. The food specially at the trova restaurant -0, just terrible, overprice and mediocre service. Roaches in the room, bathroom not properly clean. It’s not worthy. Do not waste your money here. I have to checkout the day after my check in I’m still waiting for the final invoice after 3 days. That should tell you the type of service they offered

We stayed at Wyndham Palmas del Mar for several days and unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations.

When we arrived at the hotel around 5:30 PM, we were told our room was not ready. I had requested a room close to my aunt’s, but was told we'd need to wait for it to be cleaned. After a bit of back and forth, the manager Jayson kindly offered a $150 credit for the inconvenience, but ultimately we were placed in the next building over—not ideal, but manageable.

Room:
The rooms were clean but very small. The bathroom, in particular, was extremely cramped and the toilet flush was obnoxiously loud. The water in the shower was difficult to regulate—it constantly shifted from hot to cold and back to extremely cold, which made showering uncomfortable. The TV had very limited options (about 30 channels),

The air conditioning was not cooling. Sweating all night. Fridge never cold things. I lost the food I put there. Lost money because of it. Front desk personnel gave me wrong info. Ridiculous fees. Although saw a shuttle in parking lot he never offered service. He instead accelerated and took off more than once. Went for marshmallows at 7.20pm once and received a lecture on timing. Received 2 marshmallows and the family after me did not got lecture but more marshmallows… People that made my stay enjoyable : jose at the pool, Saul (and others in the shift that night 7/15) in the restaurant and the nice guy in the coffee place lobby- forgot his name- long hair (super nice!!!!) cleaning crew was always nice too.

I went with my sons for a family vacation. Overall I can honestly say we had a great time here and my boys loved the resort pool more than anything. The staff were soooo nice and helpful, I really appreciated it. Only problems I had was with my room, the patio door would not open. I called the front desk and 3 repair men, came and fixed it within 30 minutes. I love how on top of things they were, soon as you mentioned something was wrong or not working. Definitely would be recommending this resort to family and friends.
