I would give this property 5 stars. Staff are awesome, rooms are lovely with great views and access to a rooftop fire pit to enjoy with family. Biggest disappointment was the cost to park at this venue. I've stayed at numerous Marriott affiliated properties but $35+tax per night is a little on the high side.

The room was not properly insulated, we could hear the people above us walking around. There was an iternet modem hanging over the bed that flashed all night. The hot tub was drained and we were never informed. We werent happy with our stay.

The location was great. The hotel was ok in my eyes. Staff was wonderful. The pool was below average, so we didn't even use it. The worst part of our stay, was the fact that the guest next to us were so loud in the morning. Their dog was barking (around 5am) which caused them to keep yelling at the dog was the biggest issue. The walls seem pretty thin between rooms as we couldn't sleep even when the guests next to us were talking (granted this was after the dog was barking). We actually did bring it up to the staff, but all they did was say \"well we do allow dogs\". Again, great location, but lots of options so we will try again somewhere else next time. I guess you do get what you pay for, as this hotel was not very expensive.

Had a great stay at Sky Rock - you can’t beat the views they have - seriously 360. The shared balcony feels big and its great to chill at night by the fire. Breakfast buffet was great for good price and live music was the highlight while stargazing. Rooms are big and clean and its located within minutes of everything you need. There was an extra charge in my card but after talking to manager all was taken care. Great experience overall!

What a great stay in Sedona. Not all rooms get a view of the red rocks but all rooms are only a couple steps from the lobby which allows you to view the red rocks. You can also enjoy a drink while taking in the view, and the stars at night.

We stayed 8 nights.There must have been a dog staying at the hotel because on the patio outside our room there was dog crap under the picnic table and a strong urine smell. We told the front desk and they did nothing. They washed the patio the day before we left but never cleaned the crap up. We stay at this hotel for the view from the patio. The couches also needed new cushions. They were all ripped apart. I am sure the hotel is charging for the dogs to stay but are not cleaning up after them.

Wanted to experience a new hotel and a closer stay to trails we'd be taking. Stay was very disappointing, true to previous reviews, reminiscent of old motel. The room we got had 4 walls with 3 small windows and overpriced. No hot water, parking is not free, rooms are plain, a/c loud, pool is smaller than it marketed, walls are thin you can hear the neighboring guests. Check-in staff vague and dismissive including at the bar - shockingly - nothing reminiscent of other Marriotts. On the 3rd day we found through other guests of some activities and amenities at the hotel, they even had a flyer.

Check-in took almost an hour. They said they were \"in transition\" and long story short gave us a room upgrade because of the long wait and difficulty in obtaining a room. Breakfast of avocado toast consisted of a tiny smear of avocado on soggy toast covered with greens that were a day old or older. During breakfast, staff vacuumed the area near us and left a dusty cloud for several minutes. Why? It was the busiest time of morning. Except for one lady, staff was not friendly (especially the bartender), and didn't seem very well trained. Customer service at this resort is a problem. Views of Sedona red rock cliffs were superior, but not worth the experience we had.

The property is very nice, beautiful decor features like the wooden entrance she’s, the geo wall at the front desk. The bar terrace has a spectacular sunrise view and some of the other buildings have shining sunset views. Area was quiet and centrally located to shops and dining. Pool was very small. I believe there were 9 chairs in total to lay on. The rooms have shared seating outside the rooms so really no privacy unless you are sitting in your room. When we checked in we got a room on the 1st floor. We needed to take our luggage (lots of it) down a steep sidewalk to get there as there are no elevators. The best part of the hotels is the view and we enjoyed sitting at the restaurant listening to live music. But you can get that at most of the hotel in Sedona.

The hotel has wonderful views of the famous Sedona red rocks. Rooms are nicely appointed and clean. Live entertainment almost daily was also a nice touch. The biggest downfall is the food. They advertise a restaurant, but it is just a bar with food. The menu is good, but the food itself is not and the wait time is exorbitant.

Sky Rock Sedona has beautiful views from the property. The staff and maintenance crew were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We booked our stay through Expedia, and we were disappointed to learn that some of the amenities listed were no longer accurate (no free transportation service, no refrigerator in rooms, no free continental breakfast). Bar prices are high, we paid $42 for two cocktails.

My husband and I visited Sedona to celebrate our wedding anniversary and selected SkyRock Sedona for our hotel. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Molly and immediately felt at home. Molly was so warm and accommodating from the jump — congratulating us on our anniversary, providing us with helpful insight / recommendations for off the beaten path experiences, and continued to add several special touches throughout our stay. Come nightfall, the desk was managed by Cali — another exceptional employee of SkyRock. A local to the area, Cali had great ideas for our next adventure and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The positive vibes didn’t stop there — from Braden + JJ at the bar to Cheryl (whom, by the way, makes THE best guac) and Cheryl throughout the facilities making sure fires were lit, pillows were fluffed, and our every need was met (no request too big or small). We reference all these exceptional individuals by name because by the end of our stay, they felt like close friends we had known long before we arrived to Sedona. This level of exceptional service complemented the stunning 360* views of the red rocks (we recommend the sunrise side) and we highly recommend this hotel for individuals, couples, and families alike looking to take in the breathtaking scenery. What an amazing experience at this resort! I must mention JJ, the bartender, and Keele at the guest desk. Both of them made me want to return. After a tiring 3.5-hour drive from Phoenix, I expressed my frustration and exhaustion to Keele. She empathetically listened and provided me with a free parking pass for my stay along with a complimentary drink, all accompanied by a warm smile—a wonderful start to the trip. Braden, whom I met at the bar the first night, somehow remembered it was my 60th birthday two days later, even though I hadn't mentioned it again. He was fantastic. Having frequented bars for many decades, JJ stood out as the bartender I want to visit again. Despite my nightly indulgence, she was attentive, efficient, and polite not only with me but with everyone. Despite her busy schedule ensuring every guest had an awesome experience, she kept the bar and tables spotless, yet always gave the impression of undivided attention. Her exceptional service alone makes the resort worth visiting. Beyond the staff, the breathtaking view of the red rocks from the deck, combined with the nightly and morning music, makes this place truly special. I can't wait to return. I hardly ever write reviews. As a matter of fact I can’t remember the last time I did, but the customer service and cleanliness and accessibility of this hotel was worth writing a review. I was so comfortable during my stay and appreciated and was grateful for the quality breakfast, scenic views and live entertainment. The gym was off site which was the only inconvenience but considering the trade off of how comfy the hotel was it was worth my time.

Considering the price of the room, it was disappointing to find several things in disrepair (e.g., the shower fixture, wall decor, exterior electric doors, and even the room door). It was also difficult to locate the room number, and the walls were thin enough to hear conversations from neighboring rooms. Depending on which staff member was at the front desk, the level of hospitality varied, and at times, I didn’t feel very welcomed.
That said, despite these drawbacks, this hotel offered the most stunning view of Sedona out of all the places I’ve stayed. I especially enjoyed the breakfast accompanied by live music and the breathtaking mountain scenery.

The view from the property was beautiful, but unfortunately, that’s where the positive aspects ended. The breakfast was mediocre at best, with a rating of 3/5. The sausage was rubbery, and the bacon seemed like an imitation product. Upon check-in, I was not acknowledged and then eventually instructed to wait while the woman behind the counter finished her phone call. Afterward, she proceeded to take another call right in front of me, forcing me to wait uncomfortably for about five minutes. I eventually stepped outside to get my spouse, as the situation was becoming awkward.

When booking the room I paid the additional fee $85 to upgrade to a red rock view. Upon arrival I was informed I was upgraded to the top floor in lieu of a view. We had to walk outside and around the corner for a view. This is not what I paid for nor did I care about what floor I was on. I wanted the view but was told it wasn’t available. When I asked for a refund for the additional fee I was told they have a no refund or cancellation policy. I called and spoke with management after my stay to recover the upgrade fee and again was told there is nothing they could do. I would not stay at this property again due to the fact that property has no integrity and will not honor your reservation. I was not asking for a full refund, I was asking for a refund for the additional fee I paid for a view I did not receive.
Lastly, it was my husband’s birthday and I knew we would arrive late, my intention was him to wake up to the red rock view since it was his first time visiting Sedona. Very disappointing and not an organization I would do business with in the future.

Sky Rock Sedona is relaxing, clean, beautifully decorated, conveniently located, and a great value for your money. The service is impeccable. Shout out to Rita from the front desk who, along with her coworkers, really goes above and beyond for the guests to ensure they have the best vacation. The morning medication, live music in the evenings, and events like star gazing really make this such a magical place to stay.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights. Never again! The room and the entire complex are dingy and leave much to be desired. The value for money was, quite simply, a disgrace. The breakfast buffet offers just the bare essentials, and when it's empty, it takes forever to refill. For us, the hotel was a complete disappointment.
