We have a wonderful stay at this beautiful accommodation. All of the staff was very nice and helpful. The morning breakfast was first class unbelievably tasty! The location is central and the place is a historic canal house. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. Simply wonderful and we will come back here for another visit to Bruges.

Everyone should be so lucky so stay in this beautiful guest house. Lyne went above & beyond to great us on arrival. The superior breakfast food & service was exceptional. Beautiful canal view. We would definitely return!

I can't imagine a better place to stay if you're in Bruges. Lynne is an exceptional host that thinks of every detail and is so kind. The breakfast that was included was so fresh and of great quality with fresh fruits, eggs, cheeses, breads, juice, and jam. Our room was very comfortable with a beautiful bathroom and the rooftop and lounge were very nice intimate spaces to relax. The location is very convenient, yet tucked away and still quiet. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

We loved our stay here! The hospitality was amazing, and the accommodations were absolutely beautiful. We stayed in one of the suites and it had a jacuzzi, which was so relaxing. It is super central and the views are fantastic, not to mention the delicious breakfast prepared by the hosts of fresh fruit and eggs each morning. We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Bruges, and also recommend you book very early especially if you’re coming at a high tourist season.

Perfect! Better than our 5-star hotel!

We thought this would be our only trip to Brugge, but this B&B was so great we want to make a special trip any time we are in Europe! We had stayed in a 5-star hotel the night before, and prepared ourselves that this wouldn't be as good -- we were so wrong, this was way better! Great blend of modern conveniences (like motion-sensing lighting) in a historic setting, beautiful rooms and every convenience you would want - so don't worry that it will be less comfortable than a more modern place, and the owner is so sweet and attentive if there is anything at all that you need. I had completely missed when I booked that instead of the usual fruit and bread assortment elsewhere, the owner does a multi-course champagne breakfast complete with made to order omelettes! The location is amazing - right in the heart of everything (you can watch tourists going by and photographing the building), two minutes walk to myriad great restaurants, but the B&B itself is quiet and designed to be a respite from all the busy hustle bustle of Brugge. We only wished we had more time to spend on the roof deck garden -- we will just have to make the sacrifice to go back again! It really was the perfect end to our two weeks in Europe - we could see the city, but get away from the tourists and just rest and recharge before heading home, which was just what we needed since we had our six-month old with us!!

Awesome place

We spent a city-break week-end at Bonifacius. Really great experience overall. Location is perfect, close to the main sites and the train station. Breakfast was amazing, more than we could wish for. Great services, we will definitely come back.

Beautiful guesthouse and wonderful hospitality

My wife and I stayed for two nights in January. The guesthouse offers an authentic and luxurious stay, perfectly situated in the heart of Bruges. Wonderful hospitality from start to finish. One of the best breakfast spreads we've experienced. Would highly recommend. Thank you again

A charmer

A stunning city and Bonifacius is a tourist attraction because of the position right on the canal. It is a 15th century charmer beautifully restored and decorated. Lyne is a lovely lady and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious. A must stay in Bruges.

Disappointing shabby interior

For a hotel with exclusive in the name it was hardly that. My room was furnished with shabby antiques and the room decor in depressing colors. door was locked when I arrived and no one on premise to open it. The entry way had a bike and a beat up bench and it took 3 locked doors to open to get to your room. The breakfast however was so superior it really made up for the dingy interior.I would suggest owner creates a budget for redecorating.

Authentic and Enjoyable stay

We stayed at this B&B for one night between some time in Paris on our way to Amsterdam. The B&B was wonderful and in a great location central to everything in Brugge. The room was amazing including a lovely jacuzzi tub. The breakfast was delicious. I would absolutely recommend this a great great break from hotels and an nice romantic stay.

Best location ever!

It was a perfect location right on the canal. We loved the character of the 16th century home (leaded windows, wooden shutters etc) Our hostess was delightful and very helpful about things to do. The breakfast delicious and plentiful. My only regret is that we only had two nights there : ( Next trip we need to plan for a longer stay : D Can't wait to go back!!
The town of Brugge could not be more romantic and beautiful. It truly is a must see!!

Breath-taking canal-side retreat

I am not a person to write reviews, but in this instance, I will make an exception. I was looking to step back into time and indulge in a bit of luxury and comfort. My expectations were met. Located at the heart of medieval Bruges, yet cut away from the hustle and bustle. The junior bedroom was charming, the bathroom well fitted, together with a jacuzzi tub ideal to unwind. The breakfast room was a picture. Enjoyed fresh fruits, selection of breads, pastries, cheeses, cooked egg dish... Great attentive service... Wonderful start to a day of discovery. The weather was with us and we had a good bottle on the terrace. Wonderful time ponctuated by the mesmerising chime of the belfry and steeples all around... Will go back in a breath. Wish I was there still xxx

Great location, friendly service.

This is a wonderful little guesthouse in a great location with fantastic service. The room we had over the canal was great but it was somewhat of a photo attraction for tourists so we had to keep the shutters closed.
Note this guesthouse is just your room and a breakfast room - but that's all we needed.

Charming, upscale Bed and Breakfast

Medival luxury in the heart of Bruges

The house is beautiful and is right on the canal. The atmosphere is very relaxed and you can get free tea and coffee anytime. The master suite was supurb with jacuzzi bath. The owner is very nice and helpful and you allways wake up to an amazing breakfast! We really loved it!

Beautiful Guesthouse

The guesthouse only has three rooms and you will be greeted by Lynne and shown to your room. Lynne is the owner and has done a wonderful job thoughtfully restoring the place. Whatever you need, she is there to help. If you want to feel like you are living in Old town Bruges, you should pay a visit. It is situated right next to the Church of the Old Lady and a short walk from the Belfort. Lynne will also gladly show you where to find the best waffles, food, museums. She and her family have lived in Bruges all their lives.

Just wonderful - really recommend the Bonifacious!

A fabulous stay at the perfectly located Guesthouse Bonifacius. The room was stunning, the breakfast was amazing and the staff couldn't do enough while at the same time giving us complete freedom so it felt like we were guests in a friends very lovely house. I can't recommend it enough - one of the best stays we've ever had.

My wife and I stayed two nights at the Bonifacius B&B...what a wonderful experience. The B&B is situated in the heart of the old city, easy walking distance to all sites and shops. This is the loveliest place to stay. So luxurious.

Quaint and very historic, the Bonifacius is modern, roomy and very comfortable inside whilst still retaining the antique decor. So welcoming and a very helpful hostess. Fabulous breakfast. A quiet lane but very central to the activities and sites of Bruge. I give it a 10.

Long weekend getaway

My husband and I took a quick trip to Bruges. The inn was right in the middle of everything located on a beautiful water way. The inside had so much character yet was very modern (old met new); it was simply amazing. The caretaker was so friendly and accommodating and walked us through everything upon check in. Best B&B during our honeymoon

Our stay at Bonifacius was amazing! We stayed 2 nights during our honeymoon trip through Belgium and it was our favorite! The B&B is a beautiful house right on a canal. The suite was perfect and larger than we expected. The small rooftop terrace is an ideal place for afternoon drinks (we bought some belgium beers at a shop down the road). And the breakfast was delicious with a great view of the canal. Lyne and her team were so very attentive and welcoming. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Spent the first weekend of 2015 at the Bonifacius. Perfect in every way - comfy, homely and in a great location. We loved every minute of it, would not hesitate to recommend. Breakfast here is worthy of a mention - superb. This will be our choice of accommodation on our subsequent trips to Bruges.

Fairy Tale Home Away From Home

It would be impossible to praise Bonifacius Guesthouse too much. Lynne is a wonderful hostess. The inn is charming and the location is excellent. We felt like guests in a friend's private home. The daily breakfast is magnificent. Lynne's hospitality is second to none. Her recommendations for activities and restaurants were excellent. Book a room with a canal view and don't forget to check out the rooftop garden for great views of the city, especially in the evening.

Unique and fabulous

I booked this as a treat for my husbands birthday, the house is absolutely beautifully decorated and furnished and our room was lovely and very comfortable.
Bonifacius is in a great location, very central but still very peaceful.
Lynn was a fantastic hostess and made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble . The breakfasts were superb.
We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to a return visit.

Really enjoyable stay at Bonifacius. The pictures and map show what a great location – with breakfast being served overlooking the canal and opposite one of the main cathedrals in Bruges. What the pictures can’t show is the fantastic and friendly service, which really made our stay special. Breakfast was also delicious. Very much would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bruges.

Central hotel close to all main sights and shops

Lyn the guesthouse owner was so welcoming and with only 3 rooms in the house she really gave us her undivided attention. The breakfasts were divine esp the fruit platters and there was so much attention to detail. Bruge is a very romantic town and the guesthouse was the icing on the cake which made our stay very special.
