Great room, comfy bed, love their bathroom products, air con worked perfectly. The mini fridge is the room was a huge +.

A nice hotel

I stay here during early November. The staff are absolutely wonderful at the hotel, very friendly and always ready to help you with anything you need. The hotel is set back from the road and is quiet and the grounds are lovely and very picturesque in the evening. The rooms are a good size with a nice balcony. They serve afternoon tea as part of the stay so a nice touch when you come in from trips out. The hotel laundry service is very good value.
The pool area needs some updating and repair in my opinion as the decking looks very old and I was a bit wary of walking barefoot across it.
The biggest let down unfortunately is the food, everything was a bit tasteless including breakfast and the two evening meals I had in the hotel restaurant.
I can’t give half stars otherwise I’d say a 3.5/5 (3 seems low but 4 is too high)

Beautiful and tranquil. If you want to unwind and relax on a beautiful property then this is a great place! The breakfast is amazing the staff are unbelievably nice & attentive.. Our villa was awesome. The only downsides were a small ant issue in my shower the pool was pretty cold so I felt like I wasted money on paying extra for the private pool. The cost was expensive compared to most options in Southeast Asia & if you don’t plan on utilizing their amenities (free bikes, movies, gym, yoga studio) then I’d advise you to choose a option for $40-$60 less.

I choose this hotel because of the excellent reviews and pictures. I was not disappointed. When I arrived, I was just blown away by the beauty and style of the place. The rooms were spacious, clean and tasteful. The grounds are really special - I could have spent the whole week without stepping outside the hotel. The food at the restaurant was outstanding with enough vegetarian options to make it difficult to select! The spa was special, relaxing and a great place to unwind. The only noise were the cicadas and frogs at night - very tranquil. The staff are superb. Everyone knew my name, they were friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. I've never stayed anywhere before and been given complimentary massage or had a present on leaving! I really needed a rest and recuperation after an illness and KajaNe Yangloni was perfect. I had a wonderful stay and hope to return. Thank you.

I stayed here for 6 nights on my own in a villa with an outdoor bathroom and I will absolutely be back, this place was absolutely fantastic.

Slightly outside of Ubud (about a 20 minute walk) which suited me perfectly, plenty of warung around for food and the restaurant is quiet and excellent if you don't want to travel out. Surrounds are absolutely stunning, rice paddies all around. Transport is always on offer to get into Ubud as well.

My villa was very comfortable, beautifully set up, always cleaned immaculately and set up each night with mosquito net and mozzie coils etc. Afternoon tea was delivered each afternoon if you wanted it as well.

I cannot say enough about the service and friendly staff at this place. They will go out of their way to help out with any possible thing you could need. Always happy for a chat, grounds are kept immaculately and restaurant staff remembered my room number etc. Excellent activities on offer, I did yoga three times in my stay and reception staff are happy to book activities for you as well. Was so grateful to be gifted a massage at the end of my stay as well, management is truly amazing!

I REALLY loved my time here and would recommend Kajane Yangloni to anyone who wants to stay out somewhere away from the main strip of Ubud but still close enough to see everything around.

The staff were amazing, could not do enough to make us feel like we were in a luxurious home away from home. Although it's out of the main Ubud area, the shuttle bus was always at our service until late at night. We really enjoyed the food. Breakfasts were generous and catered to all tastes. Dinners - we felt the chef/s do better with the more asian dishes, but they don't go wrong with fries & wedges :) .

Excellent staff who did their upmost to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The rooms were spacious and modern although there could be more storage space and more electrical sockets inside the rooms. Breakfasts were good with plenty to eat. The complimentary shuttle into the town centre was well used and very well organised. The hotel setting was wonderful within rice fields but we were unhappy that non smokers were not very well catered for. Smoking should not be allowed in the restaurant. However would definitely stay again when next in Ubud.

We had an amazing experience at the hotel. The location was perfect for what we were looking for. It's a nice hotel outside the city center. This can be a bit of a hassle to go to the city (it's a 10 minute car drive - but with traffic can be more) but because of how busy Ubud is, that was actually perfect. The hotel has a shuttle to the other Kajane that is located in the city so that was pretty convenient. Also our villa was literally in the middle of a Rice field and we woke up every morning to the sound of birds. We got a massage at the spa which was amazing, breakfast was very good and the gym, although small, was very new so good to use the treadmill which was what I wanted. Would definitely recommend to anyone that want to be close to the city but not in the madness of Ubud city center.

I was surprised and didn't understand why this hotel had such a high rating at Expedia (and other travel booking sites) when I was really there. It's a really NATURAL hotel, which you can see REAL Ubud. That means wooden room decoration, no urban fashion; view with Ubud countryside, including garbage; mosquito, hotel should get rid of some unused water paddy field. The hotel is on so low business at end of May. However, I should say staff are super nice and helpful, giving the rating some points back.

We had a delightful stay at this hotel - even extended an additional day. Beautifully landscaped grounds including a rice paddy and multiple cozy settings to sit outside if desired. Nice restaurant and pool. Super-helpful and just-nice staff (thanks to Artawa in particular). And easy access to central Ubud. For someone who didn't want to be in the tourist center, KajaNe Yongloni had it all. Thanks!

The only thing that I would mention would be the chickens down the road constantly clucking at night but cannot he helped by the hotel, in the middle of the countryside after all! Quite time in Ubud

We decided to spend 3 nights in Ubud after spending a week in Legian. This was our first time in Ubud. We arrived early and was able to checking straight way. We booked the Bale Villa but after seeing the Pool Villa we decided to upgrade. We were very happy with the room. Large room, comfortable bed, and all the amenities you need. The bathrooms in all rooms we viewed were amazing.
Couldnt fault the food from buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. My husband and I had treatments at the spa. More expensive than Legian but pure luxury. Free shuttle to Ubud town made it easy to get there as its a little out of the way. My only small complaint was no mosquito spray in the rooms. We did have coils and repellent but still got bitten. Overall i would highly recommend this hotel.

best of both worlds

This hotel is excellent. Set in out of the way Ubud, the hotel has rice paddy fields within the property giving it the rural touch. Also has nice gardens.

Really quiet at night, but only a few minutes away from restuarants, gift shops, art works, bars and night clubs, banks/ATMs, money changers and tourist attractions.

If you do not want the beach and high density nightlife scene, then this is the place for you.

The garden setting near rice fields was beautiful. It was a small hotel but well presented. They filled my bath on the first night with rose petals. So beautiful. Breakfast was choices of a set menu. The rooms were nice. We had a beautiful view from the 4th floor. The hotel is set back 50metres from the busy main road but you don't hear any noise.

Nice spacious Villa. Staff very helpful although the same can't be said of the restaurant workers who were polite but inattentive and not knowledgeable of the menu. But you probably don't want to eat at the restaurant anyway unless you have to, just eat in Ubud. Convenient shuttle service offered to the main street (a little too far to walk from the hotel). Very relaxing, but remember there is not a lot to do at the hotel itself or in the area immediately around it.

This was a lovely place, which felt like a place of retreat. The food was pretty average and the rooms tho lovely to look at were not very convenient. There was nowhere to put anything, such as cases, clothes etc. There was nowhere in the bathroom to put toilet bags. The balcony was lovely but the furniture to sit on was very heavy and hard to move and not particularly comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. Staff were lovely.

Amazing hotel in rice field, super dreamy and romantic especially staying in the villa bale! Outdoor shower is super cool! Love waking up to the rice field views. The staff is absolutely amazing!!! The pool is super clean and upkept. I felt so relaxed staying at this hotel!
The only downside is the food. We ordered room service a couple times but didn't enjoy the food very much. The breakfast they offered is better but wouldn't recommend dining at the restaurant or ordering room service. Other than that this hotel was just amazing.

Out first reaction when we saw that we had booked into a traditional hut/villa was what have we done. But shortly after we couldn't have been happier. The experience we had was simply amazing. The outdoor bathroom was a scary thought at first but it's private enough so people can't see in and showering outdoors was very liberating. The staff were fantastic and went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed. Overall I recommend trying Kajane Yangloni and the Bale Kambang Villas.

If you want a relaxing getaway, the Kajane Yangloni is your place. It is not in the central part of Ubud (20 minute walk), but is worth the distance. When you turn into the driveway, the street noise disappears and you step into an oasis. The hotel is centered around a rice field with a variety of villas and traditional hotel rooms. My friend and I were in Bali during Nyepi and for the day needed to stay at the resort. The staff offered free yoga classes, delicious meals at their restaurant, massages, and a pool that provided refreshing dips. This hotel is worth every cent and when I return to Ubud, I will be staying here again.

Perfect place to go and unwind, relax and be pampered. Villas were very comfortable for sharing, breakfast on the balcony was served when requested. Pool was perfect after a day of activities. And during our stay we had no children so a very peaceful and quiet holiday. A must is to use the Spa for the best massage, 2 hours = $80:00.

A wonderful hotel. We loved it here so much we extended our stay. A beautiful room, view and setting. Great staff and excellent service. Terrific service- you can have your breakfast in your room or at the restaurant. There's a great selection and the food is delicious. Reasonably priced too if you wish to dine by the pool. The free shuttle service is excellent and complimentary afternoon tea daily is very welcome. The room comes with complimentary umbrellas, hat and handbag for women too.
A relaxing base with the centre of Ubud 10 minutes in the car. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

We had a room at the top of the building/mansion situated in the rice fields. The tub is huge and the room had two balconies with good views. The pool is very nice. The breakfast was nice and could be delivered to your room. Generally the staff was friendly and helpful. It seemed much nicer to stay away from the center of ubud and the driver was always available in a short wait.

We have travelled all over the world and bar none this hotel, we rate as No 1 or 2 including some of the 5 stars we have stayed at. From the time that you arrive, you are made to feel that you are special VIP guests. Everyone from reception, the restaurant, room service, cleaning staff and grounds keepers and security have a smile and warm greeting for you. Whomever trained the staff had the highest regard for their guests. A highlight of our stay is the restaurant. The food is excellent, so fresh and more delicious than some fine dining restaurants. Compliments to the chefs. My wife is a gourmet chef and she knows \"fresh\" . Even the homemade jams are made just before being served to you at breakfast. Everyone seems to go out of their way to insure that everything is perfect for you. If you want a very special place to treat yourself at economy rates and 5 star service ... this is the place. Thanks for the wonderful stay extended to us. Please, please remember to \"tip\" all of the staff ... they don't make very much and they sure earn a token of your appreciation.

This is the best hotel ever. It is away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud and the hotel itself is very small and friendly. I loved every minute here. The staff are the best. It is so beautiful that even I could take nice pix. We stayed in the \"mansion\" (personal preference) and it was a great room. Four story building with two rooms on each floor with a corridor between them. No common walls. The rooms are large and have large sliding glass doors on two walls. Large lanais where you can have tea. Thought it would be quiet but the room upstairs is a bit noisy. Yes, the roosters will crow in the morning but it's actually not that bad. The restaurant is good but stick with the Indonesian food. The hamburgers are iffy. Tea time is an absolute pleasure. Loved it. The transport was very generous and would pick you up anywhere anytime. The traffic can be bad in Ubud though. I am so glad I chose not to stay close to town. We hardly ever left the hotel. Very relaxing. The amenities are generous with bottles of shampoo etc. not just little packets. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. Beware the short trekking event on Sat. It is not for the fainthearted. Not once did the guide slow down, lend a hand, or worry about the tourists stumbling along behind him. Yes, I did step into the muddy rice field.

Relaxing Haven, away from the bustle

We arrived here and relaxed instantly. The rooms (we had a Kambang Villa) have a fantastic ambience. We enjoyed the outside bathroom (sheltered and private) but can see it might not suit everyone.
We ate at the hotel restaurant twice(we hardly ever eat at hotel restaurants apart from breakfasts) and it was perfectly good. Breakfasts were good and the option to have it delivered to the room at no charge was great.

Staff excellent. Massages very good.

The real big plus was the free transport provided to and from Ubud and our restaurants. We never seemed to have to wait and had a much better experience than our friends staying at other hotels.

Had one glitch with our hot water not working - they were very responsive and resolved quickly.

Internet was patchy, but I suspect that is an external infrastructure issue rather than the hotel WiFi (which was available pretty well everywhere we went)

This was our first visit to Ubud and we wanted to splurge a little on a nice place to stay. We picked Kajane Yangloni after looking at pictures of the private villa, outdoor bathroom, private plunge pool and paddy field view on the website. The area is secluded and you would need transportation to do activities. Yangloni is nice about providing free transportation to local activities like driving you to Ubud downtown, to your night entertainment outside of the hotel, to local attractions like Sacred Monkey Forest. With respect to the room, it is an experience in itself. We had our in-room breakfast on our terrace overlooking the paddy field daily. It's an experience showering outdoors with the insects. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have daily activities for guests as well. I would recommend this place to those who want to relax and to get recharged.

Great place in Ubud to get away from the action

We stayed at a villa with a private pool and it was just perfect. We got great breakfast and afternoon tea delivered to anywhere we wanted on the property. Free transport to and from central Ubud. Staff were super nice and even gave us a going-away gift and personalised thank you note. Highly recommended.

Such a great hotel. A little out of town but no concern for getting to and from the centre as they offer free shuttle services anytime. Very tranquil surroundings, perfect for a complete unwind. The outdoor bathroom is amazing, as is the service.

great hotel away from the busy central Ubud

We stayed in the superior room on the 4th floor. I can't fault Yangloni - from the wonderful staff who would do anything for us to the facilities and the room itself, our stay in Ubud was memorable because of Yangloni. We had free drop off an pick up 24/7 no set shuttle time to be at a spot in central Ubud. All we did was for example have dinner at a restaurant and get them to ring the hotel when we're ready to go back. .. there's a gym but with all the plans we've made we did not have time to use it. Free hatha yoga Mondays and Thursdays here. One day we were too tired after hiking at the waterfalls and doing Bali treetop we had a staff to pick our laundry up from central Ubud ☺ thanks to everyone at Yangloni will definitely recommend

Breathtakingly beautiful

Excellent all through out. We fell in love with everything in the hotel. From the picturesque setting in the rice paddies, our quaint little villa, the complimentary cakes and teas, to the very warm and accomodating staff.We had an early flight the next day and they were kind enough to pack us a breakfast box so we can have our breakfast on the go. We love the whole place. Ubud itself is very beautiful, we are already thinking of going back.

A hidden gem.

A hidden oasis from the busy street. You go through the arch to enter a different world. From the reception to the guest rooms is a short walk through rice paddy fields. The gardens are beautiful, and breakfast out side was fabulous. We tried the Indonesian one which was excellent. Wonderful and charming service AND they have a driver we wbo will take you anywhere in Ubud. He took us to a restaurant for dinner and came back to pick us up.Wonderful

Nive hotel away from hustle and bustle.

We enjoyed our stay, it has everything we needed. Great shuttle service into Ubud. It was lovely to be away from the busyness and wake up the the trees and rice paddys. The staff were more than helpful, a nice afternoon tea came to our room every day once getting back from our day out.

Absolute Perfection

Where do I begin? I don't think I have EVER EVER experienced such phenomenal, amazing service before. I travel a lot, all over the world & Bali had been on my bucket list for some time. Now let me be clear- this hotel is not necessarily a typical USA standard 4 star hotel. It is not what one would call Luxury, what it is- is an authentic, zen like, natural and beautiful Indonesian style abode. Which is EXACTLY what I wanted. I didn't want to stay at a Hilton or Marriott etc, I wanted to come to Bali to experience Bali & this is what Kajane Yangloni provides. You have these beautiful wooden raised bungalows overlooking the rice fields. We stayed in the newer more modern building but I would have preferred a bungalow. The included breakfast was always fresh plentiful & varied, the room was spacious & clean, with 2 bathrobes, 2 pairs of slippers, 2 umbrellas, a purse & a summer hat for ladies. The bathroom was divine & 5 star actually. Every day the staff would change shifts & the new staff would greet us by name & knew who we were as soon as we came through the lobby. Every night when we would come back from our tours they would offer us afternoon tea with a sweet treat. It would be in our room in 5 minutes! They have a driver from the hotel who would take us to our activities in the downtown area of Ubud every day free of charge. They would pick up & drop off as often as we needed. I have so much more to say about the service but not enough room! lol. Just go see for yourself!

Awesome stay

We would like to thank the entire team of Kajane Yangloni for being so nice to us. They considered our honeymoon trip and made it special by decorating it with flowers even though we had not mentioned it.

They were always ready to help and guide us on the places and things to do in Ubud. Their shuttle service was readily available.

The property itself was so big and peaceful..away from the crowded Ubud centre. We had an overall amazing stay and would definitely recommend others :)

This is the loveliest hotel I've ever stayed in. This is a beautiful hotel that offers fantastic service to its guests. The hotel is also located strategically to meet the needs of those who would like to relax in a quiet place surrounded by rice fields, while having easy access to Ubud (only ~5 minutes away by car). The hotel provided us with a free car service in the Ubud area, making our stay absolutely stress-free. The Yangloni also has a wonderful spa, which we enjoyed, and a restaurant offering delicious dishes. The restaurant offered many vegetarian options; we had some of the best veggie dishes we've ever had.

Overall, just lovely. I would return in a heartbeat.

Staying at KajaNe was the highlight of our trip. The bungalow was very nicely set up with a great view of the rice field. They offer 24hr free shuttle to and from Ubud, which was really convenient. The entire staff at Kajane was amazing as well.

best hotel EVER!

I really and truly cannot say enough amazing things about this magical hotel and its staff. You are transported into another world upon arriving, and are sad to leave. Breakfast is provided with your stay and is fantastic, and the hotel arranges for a driver to take you wherever you'd like to go in Ubud. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing for a relaxing and nurturing vacation. Also recommended are the massages ($25ish) and pool!

A unique experience

A comfortable stay in this hotel. Be prepared to be woken up by surrounding animals in early morning. The rice fields was a feature of the hotel. The hotel is away from centre but the free transportation helped. The villa we stayed was transitional Bali houses which is quite unique experience. What yo complain is the lighting is way too dark.
The offset was a hotel staff selling quite hard to us on booking a tour which we didn't like it in this way. Overall the staff here are friendly and warm.
Not suitable for those who is afraid of insects which show up some time in outdoor bathroom.

Gorgeous tropical hideaway boutique bungalows

A small retreat of a stylish pool and a few gorgeous bungalows overlooking a breathtaking paddy field. Very stylish wooden bungalows with all the mod cons but done in a discreet way. Fantastic outdoor bathroom where you can hear all the noises of the rainforest!

Slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Monkey Forest road, but able to walk there in 20 minutes or the hotel provides a free taxi anytime. Very friendly personalised service from the staff who can't do enough for you. Not a lively place, somewhere you'll be left alone in peace and quiet. Check out the outdoor library hut overlooking the paddy field!

Lovely relaxing place to stay

The hotel is close to the main part of Ubud (10-15 mins in the shuttle) yet far enough for it to feel relaxed. It was lovely to look out over the rice fields and watch the locals go about their business. I loved the outdoor Library hut. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Quiet, laid back hotel with the best team of staff

this is our second stay there. Before arriving, I have emailed to ask for a quieter room and they didn't disappoint. The bale was perched over a koi pond and it was just lovely.
The overall stay, as expected, was extraordinary. They gave us recommendations on what/where to eat in Ubud, and suggestions to plan our day for the parade on the eve of Nyepi day (Silent day).
Even on Nyepi day, they had activities planned!

On Nyepi day however, I fell sick and needed medical care. Although it's not the first time hotel guests requires medical attention, it was the first time they had to go to the A&E on Nyepi day with a bacalang (local religious police on duty for Nyepi day). It was an experience both because of falling sick, and because of going to the local hospital, and because it was Nyepi day. They were caring and concerned. Even the next morning, they asked if I was feeling better!

The most amazing service ever!

Our villa had own fishpound which was surrounding the whole villa. It was nice to see all the fishes overthere. Villa had a nice terrace to sit, especially in the mornings eating the breakfast that the roomservice had bring to us. We didn't see the point to eat it in the restaurant, since the dishes you would have would be exactly the same. You can choose your breakfast from different menus.

We were a bit dissapointend that the rice fields you see in the pictures wasn't there. Only mud. But actually that makes sense, cause they had just harvest it. But I think they should tell that here in the site, so that wasn't their fault. Also outside the hotels property they are building a new hotel and that made some noise during the daytime.

We didn't actually walk around our hotel, cause the location wasn't in the centre. There was somekind of wood carving shops and locals places to eat, but nothing like in the centre. But that didn't bother us at all, cause the hotel had amazing transfer service for free in Ubud area!

The staff always askel if we had any plans and would recomment us things to do or go. They did our booking to water rafting and send us everyday to different restaurants, rice fields and monkey forest. It was so easy! After we were ready they just picked us up.

They even came every evening to close the windows, set up the insect repellent and to make our bed for us to ready to sleep.

Great escape

As the title, great escape. If you are sick of the busy and noisy of bali, this is the place to stay! Resonable price but great quality whatever service and food! The 24 hrs free shuttle in Ubud area is so considerate. In room massage is wonderful. Good job!
