My stay at Tiki Tiki Tulum Hotel was nothing short of amazing! The property is absolutely stunning — every detail feels intentional and inviting, from the beautiful design to the serene surroundings. My room was spotless, spacious, and so comfortable, with everything I could possibly need.

The staff truly made the experience exceptional. Julie, Naomi, and Rosa were all so warm, welcoming, and attentive — they went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. Additionally, Juan Pablo, Maria (Divine Mother), and the entire Tierra team were incredible. You can truly feel how much everyone cares about their guests.

I have no complaints whatsoever and would stay here again and again without hesitation. Tiki Tiki captures everything that makes Tulum special — relaxing, stylish, and full of heart. I’m so grateful for every connection made during this trip and already looking forward to future stays!

A Quiet Hidden Gem

If you’re looking for a calm stylish hotel, this is it.
We loved relaxing by the pool as well as exploring the area on rental bicycles arranged by the hotel.

Lovely property. I was a female traveling alone and felt very safe here. The infinity pool is gorgeous, the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was giant. The windows looked out onto private jungle and had excellent room-darkening shades for sleeping in. This is near the Holistika campus but much less expensive. It was a gem.

Love the hotel and the staff. Great to walk next door to their sister hotel, holistika, to use their services. My only issue was that it’s not walkable to many restaurants, but it’s easy tobike or scooter; we just didn’t have that option because we were traveling with a five-year-old. I wish Tiki Tiki had its own restaurant.
I would definitely recommend this property if you want peace and quiet, great people and a beautiful and peaceful pool. It’s a hidden gem and every guest we met there was lovely.

This was the cutest little hotel. The staff are all really attentive and friendly. Such a cool bar and lounge area. The pool it's super cute and lush. The complimentary breakfast each day was delicious and fresh. They have other food you can also order. The rooms were spacious and had hammocks inside or outside which we loved. I sprung for the upgrade with the ginormous bathtub which I really enjoyed. The hotel and rooms were clean and well kept. It is literally 2 minutes walking distance from holistika which has tons of yoga classes, ceremonies and a lovely restaurant, gift shop etc. We also appreciated having one free yoga class at holistika. I loved going next door and being able to come back to our more intimate hotel, we became friends with other guests and in my opinion the pool at tiki tiki is so special. I would definitely stay here again. We rented a car and had no trouble parking each day, felt safe on our street and did not worry about our car. Obviously we didn't leave things out in sight used standard precautions. There was security at night. It was easy to drive into the town and get street food or go to restaurants nearby, tons of shopping nearby also, close to the grocery stores, pharmacy everything you need is right there. Also if you don't have a car there is an app called tomato they said would deliver. The street is under construction at the moment so we would hear a little bit of noise here and there, but it wasn't for very long. So no big deal.

The Hotel Tiki Tiki is a gorgeous absolutely beautiful retreat so quiet and peaceful. The staff was extremely helpful, kind and professional. I plan to return on my next trip to Tulum. It is located in a residential neighborhood with beautiful trees and vegetation. A close walk or drive to downtown with restaurants and shopping. No noise of any traffic or city businesses. The staff really make this place special. Thank you Julie, Samantha, and Santiago! It was an incredible experience. This hotel is a gem just perfect I loved it!

Such a delightful boutique hotel with INCREDIBLE staff! We booked two different hotels for our vacation to Tulum and I wish we stayed at Tiki Tiki the entire time. The rooms are beautifully designed, the pool is perfect, and you are surrounded by the jungle. We'd regularly see parrots, toucans, and tropical birds! I appreciate that it felt like a retreat as soon as you entered the property. There were lots of delicious restaurants and cafes to walk to as well.

Great location, very clean rooms, friendly staff, located in La Valeta inside the jungle. Holistika is right next door if you’d like to use their stuff and even have a free yoga class courtesy of staying at Tiki Tiki. Pool was good, plenty of hammocks to lie around. You can rent a mopet at the hotel which I recommend if you are planning to go to beach area frequently. Breakfast was good but would like some protein (egg, sausage etc).

Lovely Gem of a Boutique Hotel

This lovely gem of a boutique hotel is absolutely wonderful and if I ever stay in Tulum again, this is the place I will return to. The hotel was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful, going above and beyond for requests. The common areas were beautiful, serene, and relaxing. The drinks were wonderful and the rooms were perfect. It was also just next door to Holistika, and the hotel had an agreement for discounted yoga and other wellness classes at Holistika. I absolutely would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in town. It's perfect.

My daughter and I stayed one night on our way further south. We arrived after dark and we were really exhausted from traveling all day. It’s a sweet place with lovely international, hostel like vibe.
There are cute cats roaming around that we adored. The breakfast was super sweet and hammocks In rooms were a great. The bed was rough and I couldn’t figure out the hot water to shower but minor things. I’d stay again.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my teen-age daughters and would definitely stay here again! The property is beautiful and very well maintained. Our room had a balcony and it had so many windows it felt like being in a tree-house. Every morning, Aracari toucans would hang outside our room. Breakfast was delicious - a fresh-baked croissant, a fruit/yogurt/granola bowl with perfectly ripe tropical fruit, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and coffee/tea. The cute bar had great drinks. And the front desk helped us arrange the Covid Test we needed to get back in the USA. Stay here! You will love it!

Hotel Tiki Tiki was absolutely fabulous. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and included a refrigerator and a safe. The lobby was great to hang out in with a cute bar and attentive bartenders.
There’s a beautiful pool but it was too cold for my liking. They also had scooters and bicycles available for rent at a reasonable price.
The hotel is close to downtown Tulum and around a lot of restaurants and shopping.
The staff was top notch. Juan and Melissa made my birthday stay fun and enjoyable.
I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect little boutique getaway

The hotel is perfect. Exactly what you'd really want from a boutique hotel in the wonderful Tulum. It's 10mins walk (or 2mins taxi) into the town and 10mins drive to the beach.
The hotel only has around 20 rooms, and each guest feels like a personal guest of the front office team.
Breakfast is simple (croissant, granola, fruit and fruit juice) but absolutely perfectly done.
The pool is great as is the well stocked bar.
The room was great with a hammock in the room, small balcony and some friendly toucans visiting just outside every morning.
The real highlight was the staff. Friendly (without being too friendly). Always on hand to give superb advice on the local area, which cenotes to visit plus bars and restaurant advice in town. Melissa was exceptional for this.

This is a great little hotel. It was a short stay for me, but I had a great time. The staff is very friendly. Andrés at the front desk was very kind and always eager to help. He knows everything around and gave me great tips for my trip. There was another girl at the reception. I think she was the manager, but I forgot her name, she was also very cool, kind and helpful. Damian, the bartender was awesome too. He wears these handmade cool shirts (every staff member at the hotel should wear them), and he makes you feel at home while making awesome cocktails. After my stay, I checked in at another hotel and came back to just hang out and have a drink there. A good thing about this place is that you can use all the facilities at Holistika, the hotel next door. Great restaurant, yoga classes, and a bunch of holistic activities. I’ll come back for sure.

My husband and I loved tiki tiki tulum and really appreciate how accommodating they were. They welcomed us with welcome drinks, a gorgeous breakfast, (and even a little cake and sweet note since we just got ceremoniously married) and let us use their scooters to travel locally. It was a fantastic hotel experience that was close enough for us to get everything we wanted from Tulum yet far enough to be in a peaceful haven.

Love the landscaping, interiors, architecture especially. Cute keys as well!

It felt like a luxurious jungle retreat. The room and bathroom were very spacious and tastefully decorated. There is lots of privacy and tranquility. Lovely boutique hotel away from the crowds

Beautiful boutique hotel away from the crowds and noise ! I was traveling with my teenage daughter and we felt completely comfortable and safe here . We stayed in room 13 ( had to climb stairs to get to it ) panoramic terrace. the room was clean and beautifully designed, the balcony was very private and surrounded by jungle trees. It rained heavily and the lights and WiFi flickered but that’s to be expected given the location - overall everything worked . Had a nice breakfast in the morning in the small attached cafe. We rented a car so can’t comment on travel distance. Overall I found tulum very crowded and hectic with many many cars so we likely wouldn’t hVe felt safe navigating on bike into the main strip. Overall the hotel was really lovely, the in room hammock was fun. No TV, which is common in all of Tulum and fine with us. Would definitely return due to the design and location - it was beautiful !

We spent 4 days at tiki tiki - loved every minute! Kept feeling lucky to have chosen this hotel for the first part of our trip for the tranquility, style, and amenities. Breakfast appears to be included now but very little communication about what to expect or whether there was options - received juice, some sliced bread and fruit with a couple table spoons of yogurt and granola. Not terrible but wasn’t clear if we could have chosen something else. Cant flush the toilet paper here - just a warning for absentminded folks from the states! Bed was firm but comfortable. Overall a great stay, laid back but helpful staff - great bartender Bebe - loved the apartment, bar, pool, and don’t forget to try out the hammock in the room! So nice after a hot walk outside or after coming in from the pool to relax.

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon. I thought we were going to feel regretful for not staying at a beach resort, but I'm so glad we stayed here instead. We woke up every morning and hopped on the rental bikes and rode into town (and if you're ambitious like us- the ruins, the beaches, and the cenotes- all were a bit of a hike but worth it). Once back at Tiki Tiki, we'd immediately drop our stuff, jump in the pool, and grab a carefully crafted cocktail from the bar. The whole staff made us feel like family and remembered our names. It's SO quiet and peaceful. Our room was spacious and beautiful. Everything looks just as dreamy in person as it does online (if not better). If we ever make it back to Tulum, I wouldn't even think about staying anywhere else.

This hotel was extremely cute with high quality finishes. The pool area was lovely and relaxing, and I appreciated the complimentary welcome cocktail (one of the best I had in Tulum).

This hotel is a little far out from town if you don't have a car -- but a quick, cheap and easy taxi ride to town or the beach if you don't have one.

The bike rental service is convenient and and a great option for visiting cenotes near by. The bikes are in need of a little TLC though, so you may want to rent one in town if you're planning to do a lot of riding.

The property itself is beautiful, well-designed and feels luxurious. The pool is amazing. Staff are the best - non-intrusive, relaxed, but as helpful as you would need. They were so kind to suggest the best excursions that would suit us and arranged a birthday cake for a family member.
We loved the Nespresso machine in the room to wake up to before heading down to our morning breakfast of fresh fruits and juice. We stayed in the more private suite above the lobby and loved it. For the price, you can't find a more lovely well-designed luxurious, well-serviced place.
It's best to have a car if you stay here. Although they have bikes, etc but it's at the edge of town and a good distance from the beaches. We preferred this location away from the crowds and beach road since we had a car and could easily drive to the beach or anywhere we wanted.
We would love to stay here again.

The hotel was cozy and clean with cute decor. The hotel is not exactly close to el centro. You have to use a bike, scooter or taxi as it is a bit of a walk. My stay here was great with the exception of the check out. When checking out I was told I had an outstanding balance for breakfast. The attendant ‘Adrian’ had already checked me out then found me to tell me I had an outstanding balance for a breakfast. He searched for the breakfast ticket and it had a different room number. When I pointed this out and told him that was incorrect he stated they might have made a mistake but still had to pay. He initially told me it was a certain amount and when I went to pay to avoid any problems as my shuttle had arrived, he stated he miscalculated the amount owed for the breakfast and said I needed to pay more than the initial amount. I found this to be my only issue with the hotel.

This is a very stylish, nice hotel with a lot of flair. The staff was very friendly and ready to help with great tips.
The rooms, the bar, the garden and the pool are fabulous. The birds song in tje morning was unbeatable. However, you certainly need a car. It is quite far from Tulum center and even more so from the beach. Although the hotel seems to be located in a quiet neighborhood it can get quite loud at night after 12 o‘clock, sometimes until 4 am We could hear music from a near club. I would nevertheless certainly recommend this hotel

I loved the atmosphere and the serenity of the hotel but best of all, the hospitality extended to us. Janet and Valeria were great. I’d like to single out Valeria for going above and beyond her duty for me. We had a miscommunication on the laundry - it takes a couple of days apparently - and I needed to check out early morning the next day. She went out of her way to go to Playa Del Carmen to pick up our clothes and make sure we have them the night before we checked out. Muchas gracias! That made all the difference. I definitely look forward to staying at Hotel Tiki Tiki on my next visit.

We love Tiki Tiki and have returned many times. The staff is friendly and eager to accommodate all requests. Issues, e.g., clogged toilet, is handled immediately. The facility is intimate but extremely well designed. The beautiful lounge bar area opens to the leave pool and fountain wall. A small cafe is available for dine in and room service. The rooms are quite spacious and extremely well. Everyone has a view of either the pool and/or the gardens, which are very well maintained constantly by the friendly groundskeeper. The bathrooms are spacious and include a refrigerator and safe. We love the location which is adjacent to the massive Holistika yoga park and in a quiet area of town, but still quite close to all of the restaurants and shops.

We loved our stay. Tiki Tiki feels like an undiscovered private jungle! The service from the hotel was above and beyond. Fantastic pool, coffee and rooms. All sparkling clean and very reasonable. We loved that the hotel provides free bike rental. The hotel is a little far from the town, so the bikes are essential.

My stay at Hotel Tiki Tiki was exactly the kinda of getaway I needed! This trip is one of many trips I’ve taken solo to escape busy city life, and because of Tiki Tiki this trip didn’t disappoint. I was impressed how just after booking the hotel 2 months prior I was immediately contacted by the property prepping me for my stay. Even the few days leading up to the trip I was contacted to answer any questions I had. The hotel is very sleek, modern, and has a minimalistic style, with a retro Tiki theme. Upon arrival I was given a welcome drink and was quickly escorted to by room by Alejandro (Alex), who was one of the most informative and knowledgeable receptionist I’ve ever encountered. The bar mixologist, Nelson, was exceptional at making great cocktails and spirits of kind. For whatever spirit you love I’m sure he’d have a special drink for you (all super delicious). The hotel is located in the town area, which I recommend being that I got a more authentic taste of the Tulum culture with better pricing. The hotel freely rented bikes to the beach any time I needed it. Being that the hotel is boutique it was very quiet and tranquil, both of which allowed me to truly recharge while getting to know other travelers at the pool/lobby area. All in all if you’re staying in the Tulum area, stay at Tiki Tiki, the experience superseded the cost.
