Amazing hotel right at Tokushima station. Just outside the hotel is a major bus terminal with both local and express buses to places such as Kobe and Osaka. A 5 to 10 minute walk west of the hotel takes you to the Tokushima Castle Museum and it’s excellent garden. A 10 minute walk south of the hotel takes you to the Awaodori Kaikan with awaodori shows, and ropeway access to Mt Bizan.
Many shopping and dining options right next to the hotel in the Clement Plaza and also in the surrounding area (including 7/11’s). Although I didn’t try it this trip, the hotel also has a number of dining options itself (they also appear to do banquets for larger groups). Breakfast buffet (which had excellent seating capacity), had a huge selection of food options with attentive staff to ensure tables are cleaned, and food always kept stocked.
Many reception staff speak English and are extremely helpful e.g. offering advice and helping with luggage forwarding.
My room was large, luxurious with mini-fridge, coffee and tea. Wifi was good, and although I didn’t use it my room also had an ethernet cable.
Unrelated to the hotel, please note that as far as I could tell IC cards (such as Suica and Pasmo) cannot be used on Tokushima trains, although many shops and restaurants in Tokushima do accept them.
Service area on the hotel second floor with combination washer/dryers, microwave and vending machine.
Overall a fantastic hotel and I would definitely recommend.

值得推薦的好飯店

飯店與JR德島駅相鄰，巴士站就在面前，位置非常好，對旅客來說十分便利，自駕的人停車也很方便。飯店服務佳，早餐也很美味。唯一缺點是房間洗手台有漏水的情形。pm2:00 可Check in，退房時間是pm12:00前，這是一大優點，不用一大早就趕時間。整體來說這是家值得向朋友推薦的好飯店，以後若再來德島還會選擇住在這裡。

I was surprised that the staff at the reception desk spoke no English—nada. Hence communicating was quite difficult since I don’t speak any Japanese, nada. But it’s the case that English is not spoken almost anywhere in Shikoku. Apart from the language issue, my stay at the hotel was quite pleasant, the hotel location proved to be excellent for day trips on the island and my room was very comfortable.

The hotel is excellent, and the staff was polite. However, even though I am a permanent resident of Japan, they asked to photocopy my Japanese Resident ID card, even after I told him, in polite Japanese, that this was against the law. Also, at check out, while I was waiting in line, two Japanese couples barged in front of me and were attended to first, for no apparent reason. I felt discriminated against, despite speaking the language and living in the country for 27 years.

The hotel is connected to the Tokushima Station and the Clement Plaza (small shopping center) so it is very convenient. I chose a bigger room and it was really nice, especially the bathroom with a tub that has a city view window (very nice at night).The bus stops are also right outside the main entrance and there are many dining options around the area.

部屋は、清潔感があり、ゆっくりくつろげました。ボディソープ、DHC、ハンドソープ、ポーラで、肌にしっとりして、とても良かったです。飲み物のサービスもありました。しかし、アメニティが一つも置いてなかったで、大変困りました。宿泊詳細に記入がなかった為、付け加えて欲しいです。机にアンケート用紙がありましたが、個人情報を全て記入の上、窓口へ持って行くという内容でしたので、アンケートする気が失せてしまいました。

Excellent location, next door to train station and across the street from bus station. Walkable to convenience stores, restaurants and shops. Highly recommend lunch in the basement of Aeon Mall Tokushima.

Large room with table and two comfortable chairs, making it convenient to eat in our room. Great view from our room.

Hotel staff were so helpful and accommodating. I was waiting on a package and when it didn’t arrive by 4pm on the day before check-out, they called the postal service who delivered it with a couple of hours.

Wish the breakfast buffet was less expensive.

Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the convenience of having a small refrigerator and electric kettle in our room. Wished the room was a bit bigger and had a better view.

Fantastic location for starting the Shikoku Pilgrimage. Ideal first night accommodation for those doing bus and train to beginning of daily walks and back at end of day. With places to stay getting harder to find, and as much as $70/per person, two sharing a room here will spend about the same to stay in a very good hotel as other options. It is literally part of the main station complex. Get off the train from Osaka and you are there! No hassle. Stay for a night or stay for five days and walk 23 temples. Tourist information is 200 meters straight ahead with a great resources for Henros seeking to organize train and bus connections to, from and between temples.

駅前でとても便利。付近にはたくさんお店があり、買い物や食事にはもってこいです。
ホテルの部屋も綺麗に掃除してあり、景色もまずまずですが、そんなに広くはありません。大きなスーツケースなら、開く場所にも困ります。ビジネスホテルと割り切りましょう。

Great hotel but with difficult car access

While the hotel was great, the parking instructions and signage left a little to be desired (although parking was fine once the location was known). Also, next to the busy train station, the street signage and lane markings were not very good compared to usual Japanese practices, leading to cars driving rather erratically in the area in the heavy traffic - not a place for nervous drivers. Plus, pick up/drop off point for the hotel was not well marked, and Google Maps leads to the side of the hotel where no stopping is allowed on the busy street.

徳島駅に隣接し、徳島空港からのリムジンバスはホテルのすぐ目の前に着きます。駅周辺の飲食店も豊富で便利です。客室も清潔で静かでとても良いのですが、何より朝食のラインナップが豊富で美味しいのが素晴らしいです。四国各県の名物が揃っており（徳島のものでなくて申し訳ありませんが）カツオのたたきが非常に美味しかったです（朝食でしたので薬味として添えられていたニンニクを付けることができなかったのが残念です）。徳島に宿泊する機会があればまた必ず泊まりたいです。
